Summary
Aerion thinks, mildly. That if he wasn’t in such great pain he'd find a cruel humor in the look of donning terror in the man-beasts wide blue eyes.
There's a scent now, Aerion knows not from whom it came but it grates on his senses. Once this is over he shall find the whore and scrape their scent glands off.
Their smell is putrid. Like rotting fruit. Sickly sweet like the smell of a rotting. Scared corpse.
God's. The pain in his gut is migrating lower. His legs feel weak. Almost numb.
And to make matters worse There's an Omega somewhere. Lactating like the useless broodmare they are.
Aerions eyes begin feeling heavy. His mind quieted by the pain. Mind not quite catching up with his body.
He stays conscious long enough to see the oaf be thrown off of him. Long enough to smell a familiar scent.
Iron and fire. Fear and anger coiled around it. Sharp enough that it makes him tense. Not with the dominant fury of his alpha instincts. Instead with alarm. At the pressure of the Alpha.
Kepa, he thinks, mind still grasping thinly at unconsciousness.
