Work Text:

The heavy metal walls of Camille’s quarters felt less like a room and more like a meat locker. Every automated hum of the base’s ventilation system seemed to carry the ambient, dead chill of the Talos-II badlands, driving the frost deep into the marrow of his bones the moment the artificial sun went down. But the true cold, the stagnation that actually paralyzed him, was entirely internal.

For many grueling, isolated years, Camille had existed as a ghost. Ever since Char had carved open his back, shattering their shared past and ripping away the vast majority of his innate Sarkaz power, his body had been a hollowed-out shell. He was biologically depleted, a high-tier noble of the Vampire bloodline operating on fumes, functionally frozen in a perpetual state of mourning and malice. He had been a weapon meant to track a blood-debt, nothing more. He hadn't expected to ever feel a pulse in his own veins again, let alone a fire.

Until her. Until the Endministrator broke his horizon.

When she had first arrived, dispatched by his superiors at Seš'qa, Camille’s defenses had gone up like a fortress of jagged glass. She was a legend, a century-old savior, and he had fully expected a calculating, rigid supervisor sent to monitor a broken, volatile weapon. He had braced himself for a cold, clinical observation.

Instead, she had brought the sun.

She had stumbled into his rigid, shadow-drenched life with a loud, cheerful, and downright chaotic lightheartedness that completely short-circuited his instincts. She didn't treat him like a dangerous Sarkaz elite, nor did she treat him like a ticking time bomb. She treated him with a casual, silly familiarity that felt utterly blasphemous to his tragic noble upbringing. She sneaked ridiculous sweets onto his desk. She intentionally mispronounced old Sarkazian honorifics just to watch his jaw tighten. Just that afternoon, she had bypassed his lethal aura entirely to paste a bright, yellow smiley-face sticker directly onto the pristine hilt of his polearm, laughing a musical, unbothered sound when he let out a harsh, scandalized hiss.

She was so bright, so unburdened by the weight of the world she saved, that the mere sight of her had begun to melt the permafrost around his heart. But the thawing hadn't brought him peace; it had brought a searing, ravenous agony. Her warmth had cracked his frozen horizon wide open, and the sudden rush of life rushing back into his dead nerves had mutated into a desperate, terrifying problem.

He sat on the edge of his cot now, the pitch-black dark of his room offering no protection from the wildfire scorching his brain. The harsh, heavy fabric of his uniform trousers was already straining, stretched dangerously tight against the agonizing, rock-hard ache throbbing between his thighs. Just the phantom memory of her laugh did this to him. Just the lingering scent of her presence on his collar sent his body into a state of arousal so intense it bordered on violence.

His hand trembled violently as he reached down, his fingers fumbling with the heavy metal buckle of his belt until it gave way with a sharp, echoing clack that sounded like a gunshot in the dead silence. He tore open his trousers, his breaths coming in ragged, shallow stabs as his bare hand dived inside his briefs. The second his palm made contact with his own slick, leaking length, overheated and dripping with pre-cum, a ragged, pathetically broken whine tore from the back of his throat.

It was utterly humiliating. He was an elite Keeper, a creature of blood and ancient witchcraft, and here he was, reduced to a twitching, desperate mess writhing on a solitary mattress, entirely undone because a cheerful, silly woman had dared to smile at him.

His mind dragged him backward, violently pulling him out of the freezing present and forcing him down into the memory that had permanently broken his sanity.

Three weeks ago.

It had been a chaotic, high-intensity skirmish on the wasteland perimeter, the air thick with the smell of scorched earth and ozone. She had been her usual bright, infuriatingly brave, and slightly clumsy self, taking a minor, unnecessary risk to secure a structural asset. That split-second of reckless optimism had resulted in a jagged piece of flying shrapnel tearing a clean, shallow line across her forearm.

Camille had lost his mind.

He had moved like a lethal blur, his polearm cutting through the oncoming threats with a terrifying, unhinged ferocity that startled even his own squadmates. The moment the immediate vicinity was clear, he had grabbed her, his fingers digging into her clothes as he forcefully pinned her back against the rusted side of an armored transport vehicle to inspect the damage. He had been trembling, his breathing ragged, his elite composure utterly shattered.

But she had just laughed. She had looked up at his panicked, pale face with those sunny, unbothered eyes, casually using her uninjured hand to wipe a streak of dark dust from her cheek. “Geez, calm down, Camille! It’s just a scratch. You’re totally overreacting, Vampire Prince.”

But he hadn't been listening to her words. He couldn't. His entire world had shrunk down to the tiny, brilliant bead of crimson welling up on her exposed, warm skin. The scent of it had hit his olfactory senses like a physical blow.

Before his civilized upbringing or his fierce devotion could stop him, his thumb had swiped across the fresh cut. His hand had moved on pure, ancestral instinct. He had drawn his wet thumb back to his face and pressed it deep into his mouth, sucking the fluid from his skin.

The sheer memory of it alone sent a violent jolt straight to his core, making his hand pump in a sudden, frantic rhythm against his cock, his hips instinctively bucking upward into the empty air of his bedroom.

That single, stolen taste had been an absolute cataclysm to his biology. Her blood hadn't tasted like the heavy, metallic copper of ordinary mortals; it had tasted like pure, unadulterated solar fire. The exact millisecond it had hit his tongue, a miracle had occurred within his broken body. The persistent, agonizing ache in his back, the years old reminder of his brother's betrayal, had simply stopped. The chronic cold in his chest vanished. His dormant, sluggish Sanguine Arts hadn't just flared; they had roared to life in his chest, hot, violent, and intoxicating. For three blissful, terrifying hours, he had walked around Talos-II feeling like a god, because her vibrant life force was actively moving through his veins, warming him from the inside out.

Now, that memory was a tumor in his brain. It grew larger, heavier, and more malicious with every ticking second, haunting him whether his eyes were open or closed.

Whenever she walked past his desk in the bright light of the office, giggling over some ridiculous piece of paperwork or dropping off another silly, frosted snack, he didn't see the administrator. All he could see, all his predatory instincts could focus on, was the soft, pulsing rhythm of the artery in her delicate neck. He could hear her heartbeat. He could smell the furnace of her blood beneath her skin.

He didn't want to kill her. God, the thought of losing her made him want to tear the base apart. He wanted to keep her. He wanted to claim her. He wanted her blood locked inside his own body, acting as a permanent fuel source, a perpetual, blazing hearth to burn away his half-century of winter. He wanted to drain her just enough to make her a permanent part of his flesh.

“Please,” Camille choked out, the word escaping his throat as a raw, scraping whisper of absolute degradation. He was losing his grip on his rhythm, his fist stroking himself harder, more brutally, while his thumb intentionally smeared the thick, gathering pre-cum over his highly sensitive, twitching head. He was slick with his own lust, his teeth grinding together as he whimpered into the dark.

“Fuck, please... just let me have it... just one drop, my Sunshine... give it to me...”

The fantasy bloomed behind his tightly shut eyelids, an intoxicating, vulgar hallucination that completely consumed his remaining sanity. In the heavy privacy of his mind, the cold, calloused texture of his own hand vanished entirely. It was replaced by her hand wrapped securely around his length, her soft, impossibly warm fingers squeezing tightly, dragging the friction out of his sensitive flesh with an agonized, tantalizing slowness.

He fell deeper into the delusion, imagining the two of them locked away in the absolute seclusion of her private office. The uniform she always wore was gone, discarded carelessly on the floor. She was straddling his lap, the blistering heat of her bare thighs gripping his hips to pin him to the chair. The cheerful, innocent smile she usually wore in the bright hallways had morphed into something heavy-lidded, wicked, and utterly dominant, staring down at the pathetic, sweating wreck he had become beneath her weight.

“Look at you, my loyal little weapon,” her imaginary voice purred directly into his ear, her breath a sweet, scalding contrast to his freezing skin. She was mocking him, teasing him with the exact same playful energy she used during the day, but it was twisted into something entirely filthy, designed to ruin him. “Look how hard you are for me. Look at all this mess you’re leaking. Do you want to be a good boy and beg me for it?”

“Yes… yes, I’ll beg,” Camille whimpered aloud into the empty, frozen room, his head thrashing violently against the mattress as his hips aggressively chased the frantic pump of his own palm. Every ounce of his noble Sarkaz dignity was stripped away, burnt to ash by the sheer intensity of his submission to her image. He was weeping, a strained, whining noise catching in his throat as he bucked his raw cock upward.

“I’m yours. I’m completely yours… let me inside you, please. I want your warmth wrapped around me… I need to feel how hot you are while I take you…”

The hallucination escalated with terrifying speed, the haunting, parasitic urge to drink finally merging completely with his unhinged, physical lust. The fantasy expanded, dragging him onto the couch, onto the floor, anywhere he could worship her. He imagined leaning up, his lips parting over his elongated fangs as he pressed his mouth against the delicate, pulsing column of her throat while her body tightly clamped around his engorged cock, her wet walls riding him relentlessly into the cushions. He wanted to sink his fangs deep into her soft flesh at the exact, shattering moment he buried himself to the absolute hilt inside her.

He envisioned the dual sensation, a masterclass in overwhelming, sensory agony. He craved the blistering, kinetic heat of her tight, slick walls squeezing his erection from below, pushing him to the absolute brink of ruin, while the thick, metallic rush of her solar blood flooded down his throat from above. He wanted to swallow her down, mouthful by desperate mouthful, until he couldn't tell where Camille ended and the Endministrator began. He wanted her life force churning in his stomach, flowing through his limbs, completely replacing his own sluggish, dead circulation. She was the sun that had violently broken his fifty-year frozen horizon, and he wanted to swallow that sun whole, locking her brilliant fire away in the dark cage of his chest so the night could never touch her again.

“I need you... I'm going to break if you don't save me,” he cried out into the empty, unmoving shadows, his voice completely cracking under the weight of his own desperation. He sounded entirely pathetic, stripped of any remnants of his noble pedigree, fully unraveled by his isolation.

He was pumping his fist in a frantic, brutal rhythm now, his strokes messy and relentless, punishing his own flesh. The friction was borderline violent, making his entire body tremble so intensely that the old, deep-seated injury in his back suddenly flared up. A sharp, blinding spike of pain shot up his spine, but he didn't pull back. He didn't care. If anything, the agony only made the psychological craving sharper, blurring the line between pleasure, pain, and absolute necessity. He bucked his hips into his slick palm, his breathing turning into a series of ragged, wet gasps.

“Fill my veins... please... make me hot... please, God, just let me drink you... consume me...”

The vivid, imaginary image of her face, usually so cheerful, sunny, and lighthearted, now flushed a deep, ruined crimson, her eyes blown out and unfocused as she screamed his name while wrapped around his cock and choked by his fangs, was the final hammer blow. It tipped him violently over the edge of the precipice.

“Ah... fuck!”

Camille’s spine arched completely off the mattress, his head slamming backward as a violent, desperate groan was ripped straight from the depths of his lungs while his entire body seized. Thick, hot ropes of semen exploded across his taut belly and chest, shooting through his fingers as his hand held his throbbing length in a vice-grip until the very last, agonizing drop was spent. The sheer, explosive force of the release left him entirely breathless. He collapsed heavily back into the damp sheets, his chest heaving as stars literally exploded behind his eyelids. His thighs and core continued to twitch and shudder in the residual aftershocks of a devastating, profoundly lonely climax.

Slowly, the echoes of his ragged groans died out, and the suffocating silence of the room rushed back in, heavy, oppressive, and utterly freezing.

As his frantic breathing slowly leveled out, the crushing, leaden weight of reality settled squarely over his chest. The euphoric warmth of the fantasy evaporated in an instant. He looked down at his sticky, ruined stomach with a sense of profound detachment, feeling the familiar, icy numbness creeping back into his limbs now that the adrenaline was fading away. The permafrost was returning, colder and sharper than before.

He was completely, dangerously depraved. His devotion to the Endministrator hadn't just bridged into loyalty; it had warped into a ravenous, parasitic addiction. He was supposed to be her shield, her elite Keeper, her ultimate protector against the brutal horrors and factions of Talos-II. Yet, here he was, harboring an insatiable, monstrous hunger to literalize his devotion by consuming her.

With a trembling cloth, he slowly wiped the drying mess from his skin, his movements stiff and heavy. Once cleaned, his eyes drifted back to the narrow window of his quarters. They locked instantly onto the distant, warm, and comforting glow radiating from her office base across the dark.

He knew the terrifying truth now. The most dangerous, unpredictable monster in the Endministrator’s life wasn't the Blight, and it wasn't the Landbreakers. It was the man standing guard at her door. It was him. And God help him, he would keep playing his part perfectly.

He would wear the mask of the stoic, grumpy soldier; he would let her tease him, let her make her silly jokes, and let her paste her ridiculous stickers all over his lethal weapons. He would let her believe he was safe. All while he quietly drowned in the dark, starving for the day he would finally get to devour his sun.

Notes:

Thank you for reading!

Anyway, my parting thoughts are that Camille is 100% a quickshot. You cannot convince me that an edgelord twink vampire who has been touch-starved and isolated for half a century survives actual intimacy. The devs really sat down and decided to pack a lethal dose of pathetic yearning into this man and for what? To make me write this? Because it worked.
