Work Text:

(●・ω・)ノ------------start------------

In a world devoid of quirkless, Japan has prestigious schools.

Shinsou Hitoshi is an ordinary transfer student.

He had known before that U.A. High School was a school with a very high degree of freedom, but it was only after enrolling that he truly understood how free and open they were. As long as students' grades are good enough and it doesn't affect their studies, then students can do whatever they want. Teachers will only interfere with students' activities if their lives are in danger.

Therefore, he noticed that all sorts of people were always appearing at the school. You can find all sorts of people at this school, including cartoonists, inventors, cosplayers, and delinquent teenagers.

Three boys from their grade were at the top of their class.

Bakugou Katsuki is the leader of a group of delinquents.

He has essentially taken over the entire school, and apart from the teachers, no one dares to confront him. Everyone who saw him had to push themselves to the side of the road to make way for the boss and his brothers.

When Bakugou gets too angry and goes too far, his brothers will try to stop him. If things get out of control and even the underlings can't handle it… They will hire someone because only that person can keep Bakugou under control.

This person is like an angel; probably only a devil like Bakugou would bully him. But at certain times, this person is also the only one who can tame Bakugou. Everyone said that at that moment, they were like an owner controlling an angry Chihuahua.

Some say the two have a terrible relationship, but if Hitoshi were to describe it, their relationship would be like a dragon protecting its treasure. If Bakugou discovers someone harassing his little trash, he will immediately rush forward to protect them and beat them up.

Bakugou's nemesis is Todoroki, because the other often finds excuses to take away his little trash.

Todoroki Shouto is the student council president.

The most handsome student council president in history, bar none. The hearts of countless girls have been stolen by this cool student council president, but he still takes his work seriously and pays no attention to his crazy fans. This made countless boys in the school jealous, but at the same time they were helpless because they could not compare to the president's strength.

However, no one has ever known the real reason why Todoroki was not interested in women.

Everyone blamed it on the student council's busy schedule, since Todoroki often spent time working in the student council office. Whenever it's not during class time, Todoroki would run to the student council office, making people very curious about just how much work the student council does every day. The other members are all very responsible and spend their free time working in the student council.

That's because they heard that Todoroki's business skills weren't strong, and he wasn't good at paperwork. If it weren't for the help of others, Todoroki might have been stuck in the student council room forever. The person who worked with Todoroki the most and was the best at helping him with things was their legendary vice president. Even if Todoroki doesn't force the vice president to stay, the vice president will voluntarily stay to work.

But their relationship is purely professional.

Midoriya Izuku is Hitoshi's classmate and the person sitting next to him.

He himself is not special. An ordinary family, ordinary interpersonal relationships, an ordinary life. He has big, round eyes, a chubby face, and always messy curly hair. His personality always made him look soft and gentle, like a pitiful little rabbit.

But Midoriya happens to be the capable student council vice president, and also an angel who can tame Bakugou.

He was originally a candidate for student council president, but most of the girls voted for Todoroki, so he became the vice president. All the boys thought Todoroki was just a puppet president, and that the real power holder was Midoriya, since he did all the work.

Bakugou is his childhood friend; they practically grew up together, which explains why he can control Bakugou. Moreover, Bakugou is a regional juvenile delinquent. He always attracts troublemakers from other areas to fight, and with these unknown dangers, Bakugou has an obligation to protect those closest to him.

It is often said that Midoriya is actually at the top of the food chain, holding the line behind Todoroki in the left hand and the leash of Bakugou in the right.

Hitoshi is the captain of a Midoriya guard.

After spending two months together, Hitoshi spontaneously formed the Midoriya Guard. Surprisingly, quite a few students wanted to join the guard team, including some teachers. This made him realize that Midoriya was actually very popular at school, but as long as he stood next to the president or the leader, his brilliance was easily overshadowed by those two.

As his classmate, Hitoshi witnessed everything that happened in Midoriya. Hitoshi originally established the guard team because he felt sorry for Midoriya.

First, there's Todoroki, the student council president, who is definitely not a kind person. The president that he's not good at paperwork is just one of the president's little tricks.

"Midoriya, this is for you." Todoroki handed a large stack of documents to Midoriya.

"Todoroki-kun, there are so many of these!?" Midoriya exclaimed in amazement at the sheer number of documents before him.

"These are all applications for the ten-month cultural festival." Todoroki said.

Midoriya slumped dejectedly into the only empty space on the table, because he had just finished his work and Todoroki had immediately given him something new.

Midoriya quickly came up with a solution, cheerfully jumping up from the table and saying, "Can't we all work together? If we divide the work equally, we can finish it very quickly!"

Todoroki immediately glared at the other three student council members. Everyone understood what that look meant and they frantically began packing their things. Soon after, they were rushing to the door.

"I'm so sorry, I have an appointment with Jirou-san later, so I have to leave now," Yaoyorozu said to Midoriya with a guilty look on his face, his hands clasped together.

"My family is coming over for dinner tonight, and if I don't go grocery shopping now, I'll be too late!" Uraraka stammered, hardly believing it was a hastily made-up excuse.

"I made plans to go running with my brother!" Iida's words were stiff; it was the worst lie they had ever heard.

As soon as the words were spoken, everyone had already left the student council room.

Midoriya withered at a visible rate. "Well, it seems everyone's busy too, so there's nothing I can do... Can I ask Shinsou-kun to help me?"

Upon hearing Midoriya's words, Todoroki shifted his deathly gaze to Hitoshi, who was inexplicably sitting there, and said coldly, "He's not a member of the student council, so we can't give it to him."

"Alright then..."

Todoroki knelt down beside Midoriya's table, a position that made him lower than Midoriya, so he looked up at Midoriya.

Todoroki could no longer hide the tenderness in his eyes; he only had eyes for Midoriya.

He took Midoriya's hand. "Midoriya is the only person I can trust, so I only want to get this done for you."

If a working professional heard this today, they would definitely think the other person is a despicable boss who dumps work on his subordinates. But now he's an ikemen, and also a handsome guy who uses pickup artists.

So Midoriya has already fallen into their trap; his smile is like sunlight illuminating the darkness. "Okay! I understand. I'll try my best to finish them and won't let Todoroki-kun down!"

"Thank you." Todoroki rarely showed a smile, one that only Midoriya could see.

After Midoriya started working, Todoroki came to Hitoshi and said, "Go home. Midoriya won't be over so soon."

"No, I'm not in a hurry." Hitoshi replied casually.

Todoroki didn't say anything, but Hitoshi sensed his dissatisfaction with the agreement. Hitoshi disliked Todoroki's gaze, which seemed to warn him to leave.

Hitoshi seemed to understand why the vice president was always the one doing the work: Todoroki wasn't actually incompetent; he was just using work as an excuse to keep Midoriya around. Every time he asked Midoriya for help, Midoriya couldn't help but soften and willingly worked for him. Then, after Todoroki chased everyone away, they enjoyed their time alone together.

That's really insidious.

Next is Bakugou, and someone always discovers that Midoriya is Bakugou's weakness. They frequently attempt to kidnap Midoriya in order to threaten Bakugou. Although it wasn't what Bakugou expected, he was a source of danger for Midoriya.

"I'm sorry, Shinsou-kun, I didn't expect you to get tied up too this time..." Midoriya said with a wry smile.

"But you don't seem nervous at all, what's going on?" Hitoshi asked, frowning. Their hands and feet were tightly bound, leaving them no room to move, and they were sitting in a corner.

Looking at Midoriya's relaxed expression, he smiled and said, "Well, it's not the first time anyway. As long as you sit still, you'll be fine!"

"You're not often tied up like this, are you?" Hitoshi said incredulously.

Midoriya nodded. "Yeah, but this is the first time someone else has been kidnapped along with me. Before, they only kidnapped me."

"You really make it sound like you're going on vacation," Hitoshi said helplessly. "Why aren't you scared at all?"

Midoriya shook her head. "No, not really. I was scared at first, but then I realized they wouldn't dare hurt me."

Seeing Hitoshi's puzzled look, Midoriya turned her head to the window in the distance. "Look at that window."

"There seems to be something dark in there." Hitoshi squinted and saw a black head reflected in the window. "Wait, isn't that Aizawa-sensei?!"

"Yes." Midoriya nodded in confirmation.

Hitoshi saw that Aizawa nodded to them after realizing they had seen him.

"Now that Sensei has found us, why aren't they coming to rescue us!?"

Hitoshi's roar reached the kidnappers, who all looked out the window and spotted Aizawa, but no one objected to his presence. Then Aizawa made a peace sign with two fingers, pointing to his eyes and then moving them over them.

He means he will see it all.

The delinquents trembled involuntarily and nodded vigorously to indicate that they understood.

"Because this is Kacchan's fault, Sensei prefers to let Kacchan handle it himself. But he'll only intervene if things get dangerous," Midoriya explained. "If Kacchan can't save us, Aizawa-sensei will fire him immediately."

"Although U.A. promotes free teaching, isn't this a bit too arbitrary?" Hitoshi complained.

"But Shinsou-kun, don't worry too much." Hitoshi saw Midoriya smile, a smile of complete trust and relief. "Because Kacchan will definitely come. No matter where I am, Kacchan will find me."

"Are you so sure?" Hitoshi asked.

Midoriya nodded vigorously, "Because Kacchan has installed a tracking device on my phone!"

At this moment, the main characters finally appeared. The U.A. High School Delinquents, consisting of Bakugou, Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero, and Ashido, made their entrance.

"Deku!!!" Bakugou shouted angrily, searching everywhere for Midoriya's figure, finally stopping at a corner. "I told you not to walk alone!!"

"I didn't! I went with Shinsou-kun this time!!" Midoriya retorted.

"Go to hell!!!" Bakugou roared, and as if receiving a battle signal, all the delinquents present rushed forward, and a bunch of them instantly started fighting.

When the last person fell, only Bakugou and Kirishima remained standing on the field.

Bakugou immediately ran over to untie Midoriya, while Kirishima went to help Hitoshi.

"Kacchan is amazing!!" Midoriya said happily, rubbing his uncomfortable wrist.

Without a word, Bakugou pulled Midoriya's hand away and gently massaged his reddened wrist.

"Thank you, Kacchan..." Midoriya said softly, a smile on his face and eyes full of admiration for Bakugou.

However, this scene, reminiscent of a shoujo manga, was shattered in the next second as Bakugou forcefully pinched Midoriya's soft cheek. "Starting tomorrow, you absolutely must come home with me!! Got it!?"

"Kacchan, you can only go home after I finish my student council work!" Midoriya had difficulty speaking because his cheek was being pinched.

Hitoshi whispered to Kirishima, "Are they all like that?"

"You'll get used to it." Kirishima replied softly.

The next day, Todoroki noticed that there were more people in the student council room. At first, Hitoshi was the only non-student council member here, but today even Bakugou came, and his appearance made the members nervous. Iida kept arguing with Bakugou over trivial matters, while Uraraka and Yaoyorozu were constantly on edge about Bakugou's presence.

"That's enough, Bakugou. This isn't a place for idlers. Can you go back?" Todoroki couldn't take it anymore and stepped forward to Bakugou.

"Huh, who are you calling a busybody?!" Bakugou roared.

"Also, if you're not a student council member, please don't stay here too often." Todoroki ignored Bakugou and turned to look at Hitoshi.

"Hey!! Don't ignore me!!" Bakugou rushed in front of Todoroki, facing the bastard head-on.

"I didn't specifically name anyone as a busybody, so don't take it personally." Todoroki said indifferently.

"You two-faced bastard!!"

Seeing that Bakugou was about to explode, Midoriya quickly stepped between the two, anxiously saying, "Okay, Kacchan! I'm almost done, just wait a little longer!"

"If it weren't for waiting for you, I wouldn't be here!!" Bakugou poked Midoriya's chest hard with his index finger.

Midoriya clasped his hands together. "Sorry, Kacchan, just bear with it a little longer!"

"Hmph!" Bakugou shifted his gaze, avoiding those watery eyes, and plopped back down on the student council's sofa.

"And what about you?" Todoroki stared at Hitoshi, who had been sitting on the sofa the whole time.

But Hitoshi just shrugged and said, "I'm not in a hurry."

In short, Hitoshi, as the captain of the Midoriya Guard, has the mission of protecting Midoriya. Bakugou and Todoroki are too dangerous for Midoriya in every sense.

Inside the school, there was house arrest by the president, while outside the school, there was protective surveillance by the boss.

In the common perception, Midoriya is the owner of a pet. However, in Hitoshi's eyes, Midoriya is a little lamb waiting to be lured into the wolf's den.

Notes:

Initially, I thought about what would happen if Hitoshi transferred to a high school full of delinquents. Kacchan and Shouto are the leaders of two factions, but they both pursue Izu. Hitoshi unexpectedly becomes Izu's best friend, making the two bosses jealous of his close proximity to Izu. But Hitoshi swore he only wanted to keep the delinquents away from Izu.
