Legundo was in his lab, working on a ritual that kept fizzling out while Graecie, Sausage, and Juniper helped with input and company to help make sure the boy didn’t drive himself mad. “Legundo? Hey I brought my notes so we could compare-“ Oli called out as he descended the staircase down from the house above the lab, “Oh- hello Juniper, Graecie, sausage, i didnt realize you were here!” The electric boy spoke with surprise. “Hey Oli..” Legundo rubbed his face with his hands from his exhaustion, “right- uhm great yes. Thank you. here, can I see what you have?” Legundo continued, the other three chatted happily before noticing Oli, “Hello!” Graecie exclaimed, still tired but having fun with the others. “Yeah here. It’s not much but it’s stuff I’ve noticed, frankly I don’t know what you are aware of or not yet.” Oli handed his notes to Legundo, watching his eyes as he read over the pages quickly. Oli touched Legundo hair making the boy freeze, “uh- uhm.. what- what are you doing?..” Oli pulled his hand back quickly, “oh- sorry! It’s just- the blue is the same as the blue spots on your arms so- how did you do that?” The electricity mage questioned, before stepping back after seeing the reddened look on the Iron souls face. “It- it’s just- uhm.. it’s- it was an accident! I didn’t- intend to turn myself blue.. I just messed up an alchemical experiment and- well.. it exploded- I’m lucky it didnt get on my face but.. not lucky everywhere else? Heh..” Legundo explained quickly with an awkward laugh, “and it turned your hair blue?” Oli inquired. “Turned me blue, not just the hair..” Legundo answered, “turned you blue..can I see?” Oli requested, “see?- uh- uhm.. I- uhm.. no.. no thank you.. uhm-“ Legundo quickly walked back to his chests and grabbing random things to put In the ritual, leaving Oli a tad perplexed. “Oh- I mean I just would like to get a better look at your arms because that’s a crazy reaction, I’ve never heard of something like that happening-“ Oli followed the other, the ritual circle lit up, starting a ritual. “Oh you got something!” Sausage called out, before everyone was either pulled into the circle or out of it, besides Legundo and Oli who were directly opposite of each other in the circle. “What did that take!- it was- okay- uhm.. okay- what- what did that do it like-“ Legundo rambled quickly, while the other four were left speechless. “It was like- electromagnetism? I felt something- and it-“ Oli added, “It pushed some people out and pulled others in based off their magnetic pull!” Legundo finished the others sentence. “And the reason neither happened for us is because we are opposite each other! “ Oli exclaimed, “fascinating..” Legundo continued to write down In the book he had for the ritual, “I’m sorry what? What do you mean out magnetic pull?” Juniper cut in, looking between the two scientists. “Like- you know how magnets have the opposite poles that attract or repel? Basically-“ Legundo started, “that but with people! Everyone has it, but it’s so faint it makes no different, so basically that’s attraction, yknow the saying opposites attract and all of that.” Oli cut Legundo off, the other wasnt upset though, Oli put it way better than he ever could. “Uhm- here- Oli you should write this one down I think it had to do with you being here-“ Legundo handed Oli the book. “Are you sure? I mean you figured this out-“ Oli pointed out, “no, I insist! Really- I’ve made plenty rituals you should make this one.” Legundo smiled, making Oli laugh and accept the book. “Well they have become friends fast! I don’t think Legs knew Oli a week ago..” Graecie commentated watching the two, “awfully magnetic you could say, kind of reminds me of You and Zam, Graecie!” Sausage spoke cheerfully, “Zams nice, shes a great friend..” she spoke with a gleeful smile. Juniper watched the two boys chatter quickly, bouncing off one another. “Yknow..I think this is the first time in a while I’ve seen Legs so..” Juniper trailed off, “He’s been so tired recently..and he’s been almost avoiding me and Sausage and Zam.. “ Graecie added with a dull voice. “Right! Well- I’ve got to go now but I’ll see you later?” Oli asked with a smile, “yeah. Definitely, I’d like to compare our magic something.” Legs smiled, “cool, bye guys!” Oli called out before turning and leaving. “Right..uhm.. anyway.” Legundo walked back to his supplies digging through the box with a smile on his face that the other three took notice of, and will definitely tease him about later.
