FOR ANYONE WHO IS READING THIS AS WELL AS MY 'LOVE IS WAR' FIC BOTH WILL BE WORKED ON SIMOTAULOUSLY.

Really I didn't plan to start this fic until I finished 'Love Is War' but I lost the passion for that fic. It WILL be finished tho, I won't make the same mistake that I did with my other fics.

Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

"Matthew."

Matthew turned towards his brother who quickly brought his quiet twin into a hug.

"Matthew, if I had to fight against you I don't know what I'd do..."

Matthew couldn't think of anything to say so he simply began scenting his brothers neck.

Alfred let out an involuntary purr as his brother scented him and he began to rub his wrist against Matthew's.

"Alfred. We can't go to war against each other." The quiet omega said suddenly pulling away and grabbing his brothers hands.

"Agreed." Alfred nodded, "don't let that jerk alpha that you marry tell you what to do! If Artie was able to convince Francis to let him have power then so can we!"

Matthew teared up a bit at the thought of their parents, he's being taken away from all he knows and loves.

"How long until you leave?" Alfred asked interrupting Matthew's thoughts.

The younger twin sighed and looked up to his brother. "Tomorrow."

Alfred let out a hum.

"How about we have one last game of chess?"

Matthew simply pulled away to grab their usual chessboard.

"Keep it and remember me." Alfred smiled as Matthew placed it down.

"I will my brother."

"And this is the crown my future queen will wear!" A silver haired alpha boasted his red eyes filled with pride.

"You really should have gotta a temporary crown for your future mate, what if he doesn't like it." A blond haired alpha said, he stood in the middle of the large room with a short brown haired omega beside him.

"It doesn't matter what he thinks Ludwig! I'm the king and he's my queen. What I say goes!"

"You will be king, you aren't king yet! Watch your words." Ludwig warned as he wrapped his arm around his mate. "And treat your future queen more respectfully. I'm guessing since you weren't supposed to be king your training wasn't done well, queen's are very important to your kingdom."

"I will be king in a week when me and my future mate are wed! And I don't understand what a queen could possibly do, if they were a female alpha I could understand but my mate is obviously an omega as I am the alpha, omega are beneath us bruder!" The cocky alpha said sitting on the large throne that would soon be his.

Ludwig let out a slight growl, his grip around his mate tightening roughly causing the omega to whimper. "Gilbert! Watch your words around my queen!"

"Ludwig my arm!" The omega yelped and Ludwig immediately let go and looked at the omega's arm.

"I'm sorry Feliciano I didn't mean to grab you so tightly." Ludwig kiss his mate's arm gently and the omega let out a purr.

"No hard feelings Feliciano but it's how things are! Anyways I'm done with you two, the maids will show you to your room" Gilbert yawned as he made a shooing motion with his hands.

Ludwig growled lightly but held his tongue, "don't stress about his words Feliciano, it's bad for our pup, he'll learn eventually."

Feliciano nodded at his mate's words and he gently kissed the alpha's lips. "We might have to warn Gilbert's future mate." He suggested.

Ludwig nodded, "definitely, it seems their relationship could be as messy as a serious game of chess.
