He never had a well tailored person suit. Sometimes it grabs onto something sharp and rips, sometimes there's a loose thread that might unravel the whole stitching and expose him. It has multiple imperfections that others might notice and focus too much on.
Until he met that man,
The man offered to tailor him a whole new suit with special fabrics, careful measurements and skillful stitching, in exchange for a companion. The man himself had a perfectly fitted person suit of his own, with beautiful textiles and stitching made by trained, gentle hands-his hands.
But the man was lonely, and never had the chance to share his special sewing without the other running away from him. It was an honour to be given such a thing, so he gladly accepted the offer.
The two men were quite alike, with similar mindsets and hobbies, like it was almost fated. As time passed, they became inseperable. They're individual person suits started to stitch themselves together, making them almost combine. They were each other's missing piece, they fitted together flawlessly as if they were specifically carved.
He has grown so attached to the other man, he felt he might lose his mind without him. If they get too far away from each other, he felt that a string of fabric might tug and threaten to untangle from his suit, ripping it apart and making a total mess of fiber at his feet, revealing him to the cold air and dark atmosphere.
That man was the needle that finally brought him together, finally gave him control and stability.
He cannot lose it again, he can't lose him.
