Katsuki truly can’t believe his eyes. If you had told fourteen year old Katsuki, that he’d be waking up every single morning cuddled up next to that annoying, green haired freak, he’d call you an idiot and a liar. Fortunately, for twenty-four year old Katsuki, he is living this blissful reality.
All he can think about as he twirls one of those green curls around his finger, is how beautiful of a sight this is. Izuku lying so peacefully next to him, mouth wide-open, hair all messy, looking truly at peace. Somedays, Katsuki truly does wonder what he’s done to deserve to bask in all of this glory.
Glancing up, Katsuki’s eyes scan around their bedroom, truly taking in how domestic their life truly is now. The morning sun beams through their limited edition, all might curtains, shining perfectly on their wedding picture that sits on the nightstand next to their bed.
Smiling softly, Katsuki takes a glance at the rings on both of their fingers, words will truly never be enough to express how truly grateful he really is that they’ve made it this far. After all that they had been through….they finally did it. After all the blood, sweat, and tears that they shed, they finally made it. This is it, this is home.
