Consciousness was pulling him out of his dreams, but his body ached a lot, unprepared to move. A bad headache kicked in along with an ache in his back, legs completely numbed out. Jay woke up with a heavy sigh, rubbing his eyes.
He was about to get up, but his eyes shut when he felt a stabbing pain in his back. He groaned loudly, unsure of the reason for the pain, but the moment he touched his back, he realized something.
He didn't feel any clothes on him. His eyes shot open with utter shock, his hazy vision got pushed aside instantly. But to his disbelief, he wasn't alone on the bed.
Without thinking at all, he kicked the boys that were on either side of him. They rolled off the bed and groaned in pain. Jake instantly snapped his head up to see who broke his spine first thing in the morning.
Jay's eyes widened when he saw both of them naked, he yelled, "Fuckers! Get out of my room!"
Jake was ready to fight back, until he glanced around surprised. He looked at himself and pulled a pillow to cover his lower body, "What am I doing here!?"
"How would I know!? Get out!" Jay shouted.
While the other boy woke up lazily with a low groan, "Shut up, losers. Why are y'all fighting first thing in the morning?"
"You don't get to say that while being naked in my room! What the fuck were you two doing here!?" Jay scolded, his fury rising at the thought of the inappropriate things that might've happened. But having no memory of it felt like a blessing, yet a curse.
He didn't want to remember whether what he was thinking about was true. But not knowing what happened was still messing with his head.
Sunghoon rubbed his eyes lazily and looked around curiously, "Oh? I don't know.

Sunghoon looked at the two of them, one covered with a pillow and the other with a blanket, "Are you guys naked?"
Jay scoffed, "Look at yourself first."
His eyes widened as he found himself sitting exposed in front of his two roommates. He quickly pulled the blanket over him, but Jay held it tighter with a sharp glare.
Sunghoon jumped on the bed and covered himself with the same blanket, while the two of them quarreled. Jake didn't bother them and took a chance to run towards his room.
After reaching his room, he threw the pillow aside, took his towel and rushed to the bathroom. He couldn't bring this up in front of the others, but he felt something different.

All three of them were working at the same university, but in different departments. Jay was in the Language Dept, an assistant English professor. Jake was from Science Dept, an assistant Physics professor. While Sunghoon was an Ice Skating coach from the Sports Dept.

His finger slid down to his neck, feeling his Adam's apple as Jake gulped thickly, "Since I was watching y'all, as always, you asked me to join the 'fun'."
The poor Aussie tried to remember but the memories just felt way too blurry, but he did realize that Jay flirted back with him when he was drunk. That felt like a win, except the fact that Jay was just as drunk and couldn't really care about the flirting.

Sunghoon moved away and smiled slyly, "Fine."
Jake didn't let him talk further and quickly asked, "But didn't you have a disgusted face every time I flirted with Jay? I thought you were homophobic!"
Sunghoon chuckled, "I wasn't disgusted but I hadn't even expected you to be so gay for Jay."

"But friends do that too! We don't stay mad for too long, okay?" Jake reasoned.
"You don't kiss your friends..." Sunghoon paused and gasped, "Or do you?"
"Shut up!" Jake huffed and left the room with his leftover breakfast plate. Sunghoon chuckled as he watched him storm away angrily with tiny steps. He did have fun provoking and teasing him.
It was time for lunch, Sunghoon groaned in frustration when he found nothing to eat. His hunger grew every passing second. Jake walked out hoping for the same.
Their eyes met and Jake huffed at the latter, while he chuckled and went close to him. He teased the angry boy, "Hey cutie."
"Don't piss me off," he muttered.
He smiled, "Aww, is my puppy sad?"
"I'm not your dog! Get lost."
"You definitely played well for your master," he laughed.
Jake turned around to lash out at him, but he was met with Sunghoon's face inches away from him. He paused.
Sunghoon smirked, "Shall we be friends with benefits ?" He offered.
Jake's eyes widened from shock, "You're kidding me-"
"No, I'm not. Then you can kiss your friends too," Sunghoon smiled smugly. But Jake had had enough of his teasing, he huffed angrily and said, "I'd never want to fuck with someone as annoying as you. You're ticking me off too much!"
"But you've already fucked with me."
"Yes. My bad. I was fucking drunk and now I'm not. So, either forget it or never mention it again," Jake snapped.
The other stood silently, until he realized that he had messed up. He scratched his nape awkwardly, thinking of ways to please him.
While Jake had already left, he hesitated before opening Jay's door, slowly peeping inside for any signs of him. He noticed the boy still sleeping on his bed which was odd. He entered inside and approached him, trying not to make any sound.
Jay was curled up in his blanket, burying his face inside. Jake smiled softly and gently pulled his blanket away from his face. His smile faded when he saw how pale he looked.
He kept his hand on the other's forehead, "Shit, you're burning." He mumbled as he ran out, confusing Sunghoon who was busy ordering food delivery.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
The Aussie boy quickly took a bowl of water and left a dry napkin to soak inside, getting him more curious. Jake glared at the other and ordered, "Order everyone's food. Some porridge for Jay. And, don't forget to heat it up before bringing it to his room."
"Woah, calm down. I already ordered our food and.. is everything okay?" He asked with big curious eyes that darted at the Aussie.
"He's sick and I don't want your ass to tease him too," he huffed again before leaving.
Sunghoon followed after him, while ordering porridge as per requirement. Jake removed his blanket and laid him properly, Sunghoon helped him and kept a pillow beneath Jay's head.
Then Sunghoon covered him with a blanket and Jake kept the cold napkin on his forehead, trying to control his body temperature. Sunghoon decided to be useful and brought another napkin to wipe his body.
As he wiped his hands, he glanced at Jake who looked worried about the other. He cleared his throat to get his attention and softly uttered a 'sorry'.
Jake raised his eyebrow, "What?"
Sunghoon sighed and started explaining, "I'm sorry, I was having fun teasing you, but I didn't want to make you this angry."
"You better be sorry," he narrowed his eyes. Sunghoon was about to say something when Jay shuffled a bit. He let a tired groan escape and opened his eyes.
"What the fuck are you assholes doing here?" he asked in irritation. Frustrated about the night, his fever, the bodyache and everything.
"You have a fever. Let us take care of you," Jake said, which only annoyed him more in his state.
"Shut up, I wouldn't be like this if it wasn't for you two. Did y'all intentionally get me drunk to do all of this?" He asked.
They looked at him shocked and instantly panicked. Jake denied, "No! It just happened? I-I mean, we were drunk too."
"Exactly. Why would we get you drunk to do such things? I didn't even expect to get involved in all of this gay stuff," Sunghoon replied.
Jay glared at them and sat up tiredly, putting the napkin aside, "I need a break from both of you, seriously."
"But we really didn't mean it!" Sunghoon wished he would believe.
While Jake sighed, "Fine, you can take a break from us, but later. Right now you're burning."
Jay had expected his fever to reduce in a day since it went down the previous evening, but it only increased more over the night. He regretted taking a cold water bath yesterday, he was in too much pain and was feeling exhausted too, so he didn't bother with temperatures.
"I don't need you to take care of me," he glared.
"Please? Just until it reduces. I promise," Jake requested. Jay didn't have the power or will to argue about it, he just wanted to eat something and get more sleep.
"Do whatever you want," Jay muttered.
Jake smiled softly and asked, "Then, can you just lay down for me? I'll change the water and return."
Jay sighed, "After some time. My body feels too stiff from sleeping." He had a tired pout hanging off his face as he leaned on the headboard, resting his head back.
Sunghoon looked at him and sat beside him, "Shall I wipe you?"
"No, thank you."
Sunghoon nodded and sat silently, his fingers tapped on the mattress awkwardly. He had always been a silent boy but not as quiet as today. He had no idea what to say.
"So.. how are you feeling?"
Jay narrowed his eyes as he looked at the latter, "The fuck you mean how I'm feeling? I'm clearly feeling sick! And annoyed! I wanna choke both of you! And what's the point of asking, do you really care?"
"Well, I wouldn't be here if I didn't care. Also, you can choke us later. I'd still like to keep it clear that we were all drunk. I know things happened, but.. no one's to blame.. just my opinion!" He cleared as soon as Jay seemed to be getting angrier.
"It was a mistake.. done by all of us.." Sunghoon stated nervously. Jay sighed, he was angry for sure but he wasn't unreasonable. He did believe that these two could be evil, but not sinister enough to intentionally go to this extent. They were just annoying friends, not criminals.
He tried to cool down and spoke honestly, with an angry demeanor, "I get it. As long as it doesn't happen again!"
Sunghoon nodded with a smile, while Jake entered the room. The sick boy laid down again, as Sunghoon kept a hand against the headboard, so that he wouldn't hit his head.
Jake continued changing the napkin on his forehead, until their delivery arrived. Sunghoon went to set up the dishes so they could eat together in Jay's room.
The moment he brought food in Jay's room, he scolded, "Don't you dare drop anything in my room, or you're doomed."
"Yes mom, I heard you," Sunghoon said sarcastically while Jake bit his lips trying not to laugh. Jay looked at him with a frown.
Jay sat up, while Jake was ready to feed him, he gave him a judgemental look, "I'm sick, not paralyzed."
Jake shot a glare, "Don't say that. Shut up and eat."
"Yes, I will. But with my own hands."
Sunghoon shook his head and started having his meal, "That's tasty. Jay, you gotta try this. Fuck porridge."
"He needs porridge!"
"He can still eat this too. Just a little," Sunghoon shrugged.
Jake sighed and focused on his own meal. Sunghoon fed him a few bites from his meal and Jay gladly took it. But eating porridge after that was going to feel like a drag.
The Aussie watched as he didn't complain getting fed anymore, he felt bitter but kept it to himself.
The rest of the day, they watched movies together cramped on Jay's bed, as if nothing happened. Jay was grumbling about it a little but he knew it would've been boring otherwise.

They had been very busy. Sunghoon had to conduct his student's practical tests too. The exhaustion of working led them back to a normal environment at their house.

Jake and Sunghoon looked at him curiously. Jake asked, "Where?"
"Anywhere you'd like?"
They looked at each other, hoping for a suggestion so Sunghoon volunteered, "Have you guys ever tried ice skating?"
"Here comes the coach.." Jake teased, making Jay laugh along.
"Then you guys decide where to go. Ice rink is my territory," Sunghoon huffed.
Jake smiled, "I have no objection."

The moment Sunghoon got on ice, a huge, genuine smile hung on his face. One that had rarely ever been seen. He looked absolutely happy as if he wasn't teaching the students on a daily basis.
Jay and Jake looked at him with a loving smile, it caught them off guard since they're used to him being annoying and smug.

"No, I was just teasing Jake after that night," Sunghoon explained. The two of them started quarreling a little.
