Magic Fate

Summary:

Jisung’s fingers tightened slightly on the shirt as he literally covered his whole face and breathed the mint in. His lungs filled, slow and deep, like he couldn’t get enough of it. His grip tightened unconsciously, knuckles whitening slightly as he buried his face further into the fabric.

Suddenly, a low, soft vibration in his throat made his eyes blink wide open.

No fucking way.

Had he just purred? Like an animal? Like a fucking cat?

Or Han Jisung has two problems. He still hasn't presented, and he's hopelessly in love with his best friend.

This is my first fanfiction here, so please be kind!

Work Text:

After eight months of straight torture, schools were closed and just like that Jisung was (almost) 18 with only one last year of high school on the way.

That was the good news. The bad news were far worse. He was going to be an adult and he hadn’t even presented. Plus, he would be the only one of his friend group and probably in the entire universe who had absolutely no idea of his secondary gender.

Even his doctor was stressed—and an absolute asshole. He would blind Jisung with lies, saying all that ‘it’s about time you present, Jisung’ and get his hopes up, but at the end of the day he was still a fucking abnormal being with no sauce in his life.

He hoped to be an alpha though. Absolutely a terrifying, dominant alpha with an intoxicating scent. That’s right.

But every time he brought that up, Minho laughed.

“No, hyung! Don’t laugh again! I thought we were having a serious conversation!” Jisung dramatically pouted as his best friend laughed like he hadn’t for days.

“Yeah, we were until you started talking crazy.”

“No, I did not! And I’ll fucking beat your ass when I become one.” He stuck his green tongue out with an exaggerated expression. He thought he looked ridiculous, judging from Minho’s laugh.

“Oh, I bet you will.” Minho smirked, his plump upper lip painted with a cute pink from his own boba tea. Seriously, pink suited on Minho. He wondered if the same shade of pink covered his tip when he was about to—

“A stronger alpha than you,” Jisung huffed and his best friend giggled.

“Will you grow taller too?”

That definitely made Jisung’s cheeks burn red. Now he was ribbing him about his height. They were only seven centimeters apart for fucks sake…

“Hyung! Shut up!”

Minho was an alpha. What else would this man be? He was strong, broad, pretty on the outside and the inside. Jisung has never met a kindest person in his life before. He was gentle in ways that didn’t match the word alpha at all.

And despite his high cheekbones, sharp jawline, annoyingly straight nose, his annoyingly pretty eyes would always soften the moment they fell on Jisung. The unfair balance of sharp features and gentle expressions was almost unfair. It made Jisung stare longer than he should. Not that he’d ever admit that.

His hyung had presented as a dominant Alpha when he was 16. His rut had burst out of the blue when the two had been chilling at Minho’s. Of course, their usual movie night had been destroyed when the newly presented male had gone berserk and literally lurched at Jisung, trapping him on the couch. The boy had been shocked by the sudden inhuman strength and animalistic behavior.

I mean, getting sniffed and humped hadn’t been pleasant at all. (or maybe just a tiny tinie little bit since it was his hyung…)

His eyes had shone with something Jisung couldn’t decipher, even now. When Minho was back to his senses, he was too shy to speak about it. Jisung was embarrassed too, afraid to admit that he wouldn’t mind being used for Minho’s relief.

They never brought that up again.

“Quit the sulking or you’re not coming over today.” Minho smiled smugly like the menace he was and his Jisung turned red again… from anger this time.

“Why do you act so fucking cocky today? I wanna watch a movie!” Jisung grumbled. Under no circumstances would a movie night with Minho be cancelled. It was his favorite moment and the best way to spend the weekend.

After extra classes or Jisung’s guitar lessons or Minho’s practice they would meet up at their favorite café—about which the others had no idea of its existence— talk shit, laugh, eat and then check a new anime, another bizarre horror movie, a television drama or rewatch Howl’s Moving Castle for the nth time and have Jisung cry over and over again like he hadn’t memorized the entire plot. Minho would always comfort him with a soft smile and a warm hug.

So, Jisung decided to give up acting like a ‘little baby’ like Minho calls him and enjoy the rest of the day with his friend, finishing off his divine green boba tea.

The cafe wasn’t very far from Minho’s apartment, another reason for making it the perfect spot for their hang outs. (except for the boba tea and luscious cheesecake.)

Once they were inside, Jisung kicked off his shoes that ended up scattered somewhere in the living room and made himself at home. Since Minho’s parents were gone for ‘a friend’s marriage’ or something like that, he could be as silly as he wanted. He has never felt uncomfortable with Minho and he has never put someone else before Minho. Whenever the place, whoever he was with, his hyung was the priority. He would always choose his best friend over anyone, even if that sounded a little extreme.

Minho dove in the seat next to him, legs spread wide and that smug grin plastered across his face like he owned the damn place—which he practically did but anyways…

He started rummaging through the options, taking his sweet time with it. Jisung couldn’t blame him—they’ve watched the entire Netflix catalogue.

“So, what are we thinking about today?”

Jisung shrugged, his shoulder brushing against Minho’s. He tried to ignore the tingles and the squeeze of his heart. Having a crush on your best friend demands great acting. Thank heavens Jisung was good at that.

“I don’t know dude. Horror?”

“I don’t want you clinging on me.” his best friend groaned dramatically and Jisung stuck his bottom lip out.

“Come on hyung. You know I won’t.” He complained, voice coming out higher than estimated.

“I know you will.”

“Fuck you.”

“Charming,” Minho muttered, but there was a hint of amusement tugging at his lips as he scrolled. “Pick something Ji, before I do.”

Jisung leaned back, crossing his arms. His breath caught when Minho’s thigh pressed against his. It wasn’t new. They’d always been like this. Close, careless, tangled in each other’s space like it didn’t mean anything.

It didn’t mean anything.

“Fine,” he said, grabbing the remote and clicking on the first horror movie that popped up. “This one.”

Minho raised a brow. “That’s the third part of a series. We haven’t even watched the first.”

“Does it matter? They all die anyway.”

Minho snorted. “You’re unbelievable.”

It was a stupid movie where the protagonist was haunted by a taro demon and his friends were being killed one by one around him. Stupid shit and stuff… Not even a ten-year-old kid would lose his sleep for that supposedly terrifying movie. Jisung was very confident about that one.

He lasted exactly ten minutes.

“Okay, it’s not that—“ He cut himself with a squeal when something slammed against a door on screen. He flinched hard, instinctively grabbing onto the nearest thing.

Which, of course, was Minho.

“Told you.” Minho muttered but didn’t push him away. He let Jisung cling for as long as he wanted.

“I wasn’t prepared.” Jisung protested weakly, fingers still curled into Minho’s sleeve.

“Same thing.”

“I am not—" Another sharp noise echoed from the TV and Jisung pressed closer without thinking, face half-hidden against Minho’s shoulder.

“Okay, shut up.”

Minho huffed out a quiet laugh, shifting just slightly so Jisung could settle more comfortably. His arm rested along the back of the couch, not quite around him, but close enough that Jisung could feel the warmth radiating off his body.

It was familiar. Safe. And Jisung wanted that arm around him so bad.

And… something was off? Not in a bad way.

“Hey,” Jisung muttered without letting go of his best friend. “Did you change your shampoo?”

Minho’s eyes didn’t leave the terrible movie as he shrugged.

“No, why?”

Jisung blinked up attentively at his clenched jaw and straight expression.

“I don’t know.”

“Weirdo.”

Without a second thought he took a deep breath again. The smell of something electric and refreshing tingled his nostrils. It was herbal, pleasant and almost comforting. Jisung didn’t realize when his eyes had fallen closed, and when he had his head sitting heavy on Minho’s shoulder until a loud scream cut through the TV.

“The protagonist’s dumber than you.” Minho teased and Jisung hit his chest.

“You don’t want to make me mad.” The boy warned. “You’re literally—Hey! Cut it off!” He whined when Minho reached and pinched his right cheek.

Maybe he secretly liked it (and him), but Minho must never know. Never, like in a million years. First of all, he had no chance and second, he was a problematic loser.

Minho didn’t even bother looking at him as he poked his cheek again. “You’re literally what? Cute?”

“Hyuuuuung!”

Minho’s fingers were still on his skin, just for a second longer before he finally let go, hand falling limp on his shoulder. Finally.

Only then did Jisung took in the whole picture and thought that their position may have looked way too coup-ly. Jisung was practically attached to Minho’s side, almost asleep, and his hyung was practically hugging him. They had tangled in the past during Jisung’s clinging moments but never like… this. Or they had, and Jisung was too oblivious to notice it.

If he wasn’t so sleepy, Jisung would’ve freaked out and dashed to the other side of the couch. The sound of the TV faded out as his focus zeroed on Minho’s steady breathing. He was asleep in seconds.

The next morning Jisung woke up tired. He wasn’t sure if the exhaustion was from the times he sacrificed his sleep reading mangas or from his current position. Seriously, he was a messy sleeper, sleep talking and twisting his limbs like a rubber man.

Minho never complained though.

He shifted slightly, still half-asleep, and immediately regretted it when his spine stretched in a way that made a very undignified sound slip out of him.

Unghh—”

It wasn’t even a word. Just a noise.

Jisung froze mid-movement.

“Fuck my life.”

“I’ve been saying that since your birth.”

Jisung blinked slowly, brain taking its sweet time catching up, before he sharply turned his head.

Minho was leaning slightly back against the headboard, one leg bent casually, phone in hand like he’d been there for hours. His attention was fixed on the screen, but his shoulders were shaking.

Jisung frowned. “Are you laughing?”

“No.”

“You’re a terrible liar,” Jisung groaned and flopped back down dramatically, pulling the blanket over his face. “I’m going back to sleep. Forget I exist.”

“Okay dude.”

Dude?

Fucking dude?!

Even though Jisung had called him that more times than he can count, the way Minho said it made him furious. Maybe it was because it determined his unreciprocated feelings.

“Don’t ‘dude’ me bro.”

Minho facepalmed. “That was even worse.”

Damn. It was. Jisung was embarrassing himself and he hasn’t even woken up yet.

He slowly sat up, hair sticking in every direction, and when he fully opened his half-closed eyes he was taken by surprise.

He was in Minho’s bed. Not the couch.

He remembered falling asleep, nuzzling at Minho’s warmth and soft smell.

He blinked. “Wait… did you carry me here?”

“No.” Minho said, way too fast.

Jisung squinted at him.

“You walked.” He didn’t miss the way Minho’s ears were deep red.

He rolled his eyes. What an idiot.

“I’m going to pee.”

“Thanks for the update,” Minho said without looking up.

Jisung threw a pillow at him on his way out. It missed completely and hit the wall instead, which honestly made him feel worse.

He quickly shuffled to the bathroom, still half-asleep, scratching the back of his neck as he closed the door behind him.

He did his business, washed his hands, and leaned over the sink to brush his teeth. Cold water. Mint toothpaste. The taste was weirdly familiar. Like he had smelled something like that before—or he was being delusional again.

When he was done, he leaned forward to rinse, splashing a bit of water on his face. He stared at himself in the mirror to judge his messy hair and puffy face.

Pathetic.

He caught in the mirror’s reflection a weird looking shirt folded neatly on top of the washing machine like someone had actually put effort into it.

He paused.

Maybe it wasn’t Minho’s and it was someone else’s—the stupidest thing that Jisung’s ever thought because no one else lived here except Minho and his parents. Jisung stepped closer anyway.

It was an oversized dark gray T-shirt with a huge, hyper-realistic cat head printed across the chest. The cat’s eyes were mismatched, giving it an unsettling expression.

Oh shit, he would totally tease Minho about it.

He picked it up and immediately froze again as a clean, familiar smell made his chest tighten for no logical reason at all.

He swallowed, the scent rolling on his tongue.

“What the hell…”

He should’ve put it down.

He didn’t. Instead, he brought it closer without thinking, pressing the fabric against his nose.

One breath. Then another. Then another. The smell settled in his lungs like it had always been there waiting. The mint gently wrapped around his insides, leaving a refreshing and dizzying feeling behind.

His mind screamed mint mint mint mint mint until it was everywhere; lungs, head, skin.

Suddenly, a low, soft vibration in his throat made his eyes blink wide open.

No fucking way.

Had he just purred? Like an animal? Like a fucking cat?

He quickly threw the shirt away like it had shit on it and rushed out of the bathroom.

“What’s wrong with you? Why are you running like that?” Minho was still sitting on his bed, legs spread wide open, t-shirt ridden up to reveal a toned stomach and when his eyes traced the hairline that disappeared into his shorts, he could clearly see the bulge of his morning wood—

Han Jisung, stop right there.

“W—What?” He stuttered. He felt warm. His hands were trembling. The whole room smelled like mint. It was almost suffocating, but Jisung couldn’t move away even if he wanted to.

“Are you okay?” Minho looked at him like he had grown two heads.

Jisung opened his mouth to reply but a gasp came out instead as warm, orange fur brushed against his naked ankles. Soonie flicked his tail at his feet before jumping on the bed to get petted by his owner.

Lucky bastard—

What?

“Anyways, the guys want to meet up.” His hyung looked up expectantly. “You in?”

Jisung shifted his weight on his tiptoes, hands uselessly hanging on his sides. He still felt a little weird about earlier. What if he acted like that in front of his friends?

“Um—yeah sure.”

Minho raised an eyebrow. “You sure? If you don’t wanna, we don’t have to go.”

His heart swelled. Of course his hyung would go wherever he did. They’d been inseparable since middle school. Sometimes Jisung wondered if magic fate had brought them together.

“No, no I want to. I’ll miss them if I don’t see them today.”

Felix would go with Changbin and Seungmin to his village next week and Chan would visit his grandparents in Australia. Jeongin would go to camp, like he does every year. Only Hyunjin would keep them company.

“Mhm.” Minho nodded as he typed something on his phone, his other hand still scratching Soonie who had the audacity to purr

Jisung’s blood ran cold. Was he turning into a cat?

Actually, he could confide in Felix with it.

❀⊱┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄⊰❀

Jisung felt like it was the perfect time to bathe and wash away all the shame which expanded from his crush on Minho and his own possible cat transformation. Ηe wore Minho’s clothes after taking a long, hot shower because no matter the temperature outside, he liked his water boiled.

The clothes were a little too big for him given that his hyung was working out but they were nothing less than a simple grey t-shirt and black cargo shorts that barely stood on his hips with the help of a belt. Curse his mom’s genes and his small waist.

After Minho fed his cats, they were off to the cafe where Seungmin and Changbin were already waiting. The seats started to fill little by little.

Jisung dizzily sat next to Minho. He didn’t consider the fact that the mint was on those clothes too. He denied the urge to bury his nose and sniff. That would be the cherry on top to his abnormality.

He could feel himself sweating and burning everywhere. He got some weird looks but no one asked except for Felix who nudged his foot shin the table.

“Bathroom. Later.” Jisung mouthed, trying to play it cool. Too bad, he was failing already.

Felix nodded, smirking.

Jisung ignored the way Minho was staring weirdly at him and tried to focus on Chan who was miserable about his love life.

“I mean, who wouldn’t want someone like me?”

“No one.” Seungmin deadpanned.

“Shut up, you’re literally mated bitch.” Felix pointed at the way the Alpha had one arm wrapped protectively around a blushing Changbin. Ew.

“Whatever. But to be honest, I don’t think it’s common for two alphas to mate.” Seungmin said and Jeongin nodded.

“Seungmin-hyung’s right. If you’re the only one attracted to his scent, then it’s over.”

“Fuck.” The alpha sighed defeated.

“I never thought you were that fruity hyung,” Minho teased. “Good luck with making the alpha of your dreams fa for you.”

“I know I will. I don’t need your terrible encouragement.”

“Whatever makes you cum at night, I guess.”

“Alphas.” Jisung giggled and the table burst in laughs and chuckles.

“Is anyone going to talk about the elephant in the table?” Hyunjin said, and everyone went dead silent.

Jisung’s stomach dropped.

He didn’t need to ask what elephant the omega was talking about. Because suddenly, everyone was looking at him.

“I—It’s elephant in the room, actually…” Jisung cleared his throat when his voice broke.

The silence didn’t help.

“What?”

Felix tilted his head, eyes sparkling with something dangerously curious.

“You tell me.”

Changbin leaned forward a little, still tucked under Seungmin’s arm, sniffing subtly.

Oh no.

Jeongin blinked. “Why do you—"

“Anyways!” Jisung slammed his hands on the table a little too hard, palms throbbing as seconds passed. “Chan hyung was talking about his problems, let’s respect—“

“I feel disrespected actually.”

“No one cares.” Seungmin said flatly, still staring at Jisung.

Felix, completely ignoring everything else, leaned closer across the table. Maybe a little too close. Jisung flinched back.

“Dude,” Felix whispered, grinning now. “Why do you smell like that?”

Damn. Even a beta could smell him.

“How do I smell? I smell completely normal!” Jisung said too defensively.

The beta didn’t buy it.

“He’s just wearing my clothes.” Minho said with nonchalance.

Jisung turned slowly. Minho wasn’t even looking at him, just sipping his drink with clear boredom.

Felix’s grin twitched.

“Oh, I see how it is.”

Seungmin leaned back, dragging Changbin with him, still tucked in his embrace. “And I thought you fucked.”

Minho spat his coffee. He choked, coughing as he grabbed napkins, eyes wide for the first time since they sat down.

Changbin burst out laughing immediately, nearly falling off his chair. “Babe, look what you did!”

“Are you out of your fucking mind?” The alpha snapped, glaring at Seungmin who looked entirely unbothered. The table suddenly tensed, though Jisung couldn’t understand why. It could be because he could smell mint mixed with ozone to his left. He shivered at the bitter edge, eyes turning foggy and mouth salivating.

“I said I thought,” Seungmin shrugged. “Given the circumstances.”

“W—What circumstances?!” Jisung’s voice went up an octave, face burning so hot he thought he might combust.

Felix—traitor—was enjoying this too much. “I mean… you do smell like him.”

“I know!” Jisung yelled, then froze.

Everyone’s attention was on him again.

Oh, shit. Oh, fucking shit

Even Minho looked taken aback, jaw clutched so tight that a vein popped on his neck. Jisung was going to fucking drool.

“Ji,” Hyunjin said carefully. “Did you… present?”

“What? No, I didn’t.”

How could he come to this conclusion?

“Then how can you smell me?” Minho’s voice echoed and Jisung’s body locked. He looked up at him, through his eyelashes, lips pursed together.

“I—um… I don’t—"

“Can you smell the rest of us?” Jeongin cut in, titling his head.

He could smell coffee, wood, sweets and cologne but no distinctive scent like Minho’s. Fuck, so this was Minho’s scent. Why did it have to be so…intoxicating? Jisung was going to lose his mind.

“No?” The young alpha frowned when he was met with silence.

Jisung just looked at his friends apologetically and fidgeted with the dead skin of his nails like he always did when he was on the verge of breaking down. He really wanted to cry. To sob actually.

Why couldn’t he be normal, like the rest of them? Why did it have to be him? Was he going to lose his best friend because he was acting weird again? Would the others see him differently, now that he is problematic for an additional reason?

Maybe he was being over dramatic, but he couldn’t help it. He was never good at keeping his emotions locked away, like Minho. Always a crybaby at the smallest inconvenience.

Maybe Felix seemed to have caught up because he tapped the table lightly. “Okay, we’re spiraling. New topic.”

“Thank fuck,” Chan muttered, rubbing his stressed face.

Changbin immediately perked up. “Food?”

“No.” Hyunjin said flatly and gained a sharp glare from Changbin’s mate.

“I’m hungry though,” Jeongin pouted at the moody omega.

“Great,” Chan sighed. “We’re back to arguing about eating again.”

The conversation shifted quickly after that. Plates, food, jokes, Hyunjin’s hookup with another Omega and Felix’s jealous comments, Changbin laughing too loudly at something stupid Jeongin said. The usual, normal chaos. Or as normal as their group ever got.

But Jisung couldn’t bring himself to focus. Not after getting humiliated in front of his closest people. First, he was the only un-presented person and, second, he was bothering them with his weird problems.

Before Jisung could draw blood from his skin, a warm hand covered his and stopped the act. His breath hitched when the thumb gently rubbed the back of his palm.

He didn’t have to look to realise that it was Minho. Of course it was him. Jisung wouldn’t allow anyone else to touch him like this. (And probably Minho wouldn’t too.)

His racing heart slowed down when fresh mint hugged his form. His breath evened out, his shoulders relaxed and all the tension melted away from his body, just like that. Was he releasing pheromones only for him?

“Hyung,” he called in a whisper, but it sounded more like a whine.

Minho hummed in response, finally looking at him. That alone was enough to make Jisung’s chest tighten again.

“You’re thinking too much, Ji. Don’t do that.” Minho said softly.

Jisung let out a shaky breath. “I always think too much.”

“But this time you’re making it worse on yourself.”

Jisung shrugged, looking away but his hyung didn’t push. He knew Jisung more than Jisung knew himself, he could admit.

Something clawed on his chest and the word “safe” reached his mind, like something that always existed inside him but wasn’t ready to reveal itself yet.

Jisung’s thumb moved slightly under Minho’s palm before his mind had given the order. The urge to purr again was unbearable, but that time he held himself back even if his instinct screamed at him to show a sign of affection.

What was happening? He wasn’t going to be a fucking cat, was he?

He wanted to ask the others, but it was beyond embarrassing to mention the purring incident to anyone, especially to his hyung.

In the next moment, like he could read his thoughts, Felix’s shoe hit Jisung’s ankle with force. He let out an embarrassing yelp and felt some pairs of eyes staring in his direction.

Here we go again.

Felix beamed and made thumbs up before the two ran off to the bathroom. Sadly, he had to let go of Minho’s soft hands that were still holding his.

“Go on. Ask.”

Felix looked beyond thrilled. He was practically vibrating with excitement. “Are you two together?”

“What?”

Felix didn’t even hesitate. “Do I have to repeat myself?”

“No?”

Felix squinted.

“He’s literally my best friend!” Jisung threw his arms up. What was wrong with him?

“So, you two aren’t a thing?”

Jisung was starting to get frustrated. “Why would we be?”

“It’s just—you looked so intimate on the table, so I figured that you were secretly together and you wouldn’t want us to know. The fact that you’re buried in his clothes doesn’t help. And since the whole year at school you kept on ditching us to hang, I thought you wanted space to make out or something.”

Jisung’s chest stuttered, heart banging against his tight ribs. “What the fuck Lix?! We were literally eating shit and talking shit!”

Felix paused. “That’s…”

It’s true that the two of them would dump their friend group to spend some time on their own but there was absolutely nothing suspicious about it. They just enjoyed each other’s company. Minho didn’t like Jisung like that. Not in his next life. He saw himself as only Jisung’s hyung.

“Okay!” The beta went on. “Next question!”

“Have you… practiced your speech?”

Felix barked a laugh. “Nah, I just have too many questions ‘cuz the conversation earlier was too interesting—and I have many gaps.”

Jisung blinked unimpressed. Seriously, what else would he expect from him?

“Would you like me to find you another doctor? Maybe he could consult us about your… unusual situation. He—He could like make sure whether you’re presenting or not.”

Jisung’s stomach dropped. His lips parted but nothing came out. Was he trying to say… that he was abnormal?

Felix seemed to have noticed Jisung’s discomfort. “Wait—no no, Ji! I swear I didn’t mean it like that! I just—I have never— “

Jisung shook his head, failing at keeping his voice steady. “You don’t have to apologize, I know I’m fucked up.”

“No, that’s not what I—"

“I mean, it’s obvious, right?” Jisung let out a dry, shaky laugh, but it broke halfway through. His arms tightened around himself like he was trying to hold something in place. His sanity? His shame? His heart?

“I can’t even do this right. Everyone else presented normally, everyone else just figured it out and moved on and then it’s me who fucking sniffs his best friend’s clothes and makes animal noises like a damned cat.”

“What—"

“I just—I try so hard not to be annoying, not to be too much, not to make things awkward and then I still do. Everyone was looking at me back there like I did something wrong. Like I am something wrong.”

“Sung, you’re not wrong.”

“And what if this ruins things?” Jisung’s voice wavered again, neck choking with emotion. His eyes were burning.

“What if Minho thinks I’m weird? What if he gets uncomfortable? What if I mess this up too and I lose him because I can’t even control my own body, my—my own mind! Because I really can’t fucking stand to lose him—I love him and he means more than anything to me and I don’t know how I’ll manage if he disappears out of my life!”

“Ji! Calm the fuck down.” Jisung gasped as Felix took hold of his tear-staked face.

“Don’t cry,”

Shoot. He hadn’t realized that he was sobbing up until now.

“Oh, shit sorry,” he quickly wiped at the tears on his puffed cheeks. Was his face already swollen? Was his nose red? “This is so embarrassing…”

“First of all, you don’t have to apologize for anything, and you should know that well. Secondly, wow that was a lot. Were you keeping all that to yourself? Haven’t you talked to Minho-hyung?”

Oh no, he was bothering Felix now. He accidentally spilled everything, his heavy heart had been carrying, in a public bathroom where people could definitely hear him. He has made a total fool of himself again, always rambling endlessly—

“I can hear you spiraling again. Stop that Sungie.” Felix’s smile made his heat clench.

“O-Okay…”

“Look. You’re not weird. You’re just late. Do you know how many people don’t present on time? A lot.”

Jisung frowned, silently processing.

“And also, we’ve been friends for years. You really think that you just being you is the thing that’s gonna make us go ‘wow, he’s too much, let’s drop him?’ You’re just being yourself and that’s never been a problem.”

“Mhm…” Jisung just nodded not knowing what to say.

Felix smiled. “And don’t worry about Minho-hyung. He literally knows you better than anyone. You think he doesn’t already know you’re dramatic?”

“Hey. Rude.”

“But accurate.” Felix laughed at Jisung’s offended pout.

“You’re important Ji. Remember that.” The blond went on. Jisung wanted to cry again.

“Okay…”

Felix opened his arms expectedly. “Give me a hug, stupid.”

Jisung huffed a wet laugh when he got squeezed in his friend’s arms. Felix had a strong grip that made Jisung wonder if he should start working out too.

They stayed like that for a second longer before Felix snorted.

Jisung blinked at the beta who was laughing on his own like a man on drugs.

“What?”

“You know I was thinking—“ He took a deep breath to calm down before snorting again “We definitely have to talk about the purring thing.”

Jisung burnt red.

“I said that?”

The blond raised an eyebrow. “Yes?”

“Shit.”

Jisung felt a little light on his way home. He spent an amazing time with his friends after finally ignoring the stress and the way Minho’s addicting scent was clinging on his body. They talked and talked and ate and laughed for hours until the sun was peeking from the bottom of the sky, painting it neon orange and dark pink.

A quiet breath left his lips as warm air hit his face and pushed his bangs back.

Damn. It was hot, no joke.

Minho, waking beside him cursed.

“That’s why I hate summer. It’s evening and the temperature is still so fucking high. I think I’ll pass from overheating.”

Jisung huffed out a quiet laugh, wiping at the thick layer of sweat on his neck. “Hyung, you complain every single year. It’s become kinda boring.”

“Yeah, because every year it gets worse,” Minho shot back, tugging at the collar of his shirt in frustration. “Global warming is a fucking problem.”

“You’re so stupid.”

“Says you.

“Hyung!”

Minho let out another annoyed groan, dragging a hand through his hair. The movement sent a faint wave of that familiar scent toward Jisung again. Minho was the Tingerbell sending his way magic, sparkling dust to catch and Jisung was… Jisung deeply and secretly in love with him. There was no point in denying it. He had already blurted it out to Felix who teased him non stop until Jisung started crying again, begging him not to say a word. Felix sew him mouth shut.

“Are you staying at mine today, too?”

“I guess. We just have to pass by the convenience store a real quick to grab some snacks. I’m not watching a movie, eating your tasteless chips.”

Minho blinked three times, unimpressed. “Really, Ji?”

“What? I’m just craving cheesecake.”

Despite Minho’s complaints, they bought some emergency food to satisfy Jisung’s hunger and were back at Minho’s by ten. The sun had already set down, the dark blue sky making Jisung even more tired almost automatically.

He wondered where that much tiredness came from. He hadn’t done anything today, except sleep, eat and panic. His body felt odd too, sweating unreasonably much.

It was Minho’s time to choose a movie. Thankfully, he settled on a cheesy romance anime where the main lead fell in love with his best friend and didn’t know how to tell her. Weird and… relatable stuff.

He felt his pulse on his butt. He hoped Minho wouldn’t feel the vibrations next to him.

The main character was painfully obvious about his feelings, while the girl was unaware, laughing and leaning into him like it was nothing.

It wasn’t nothing.

Jisung scoffed quietly. “He’s so obvious.”

“Mhm,” Minho hummed. “And still can’t confess.”

“Such an idiot.”

“I mean, I get him. He doesn’t want to ruin what they have.”

Jisung looked at his sharp jaw and tight lips. His mouth opened without permission.

“But he won’t gain something if he doesn’t take the risk.”

Their eyes connected. His stomach tingled. The mint intensified and his head spun.

Minho’s throat bobbed and Jisung’s eyes followed the movement. He bit his lip, staring at the tanned unmarked skin.

“Yeah, right.”

Look up. Look up.

The sound of the movie faded out as Jisung shifted his gaze up.

Minho’s eyes were lidded and his lips were parted. He had his full attention now, snacks long forgotten on his lap. Their knees brushed and Jisung made a small sound at the back of his throat. Minho must have heard, because his scent spiked. Jisung felt more horny than embarrassed.

A hand brushed through his mop of hair and settled on his waist.

“Look at you being smart.” Minho’s voice was soft and sweet, almost fond. Completely the opposite of the way he had looked at him seconds ago, like a starved animal.

Jisung gasped as Minho pulled him, caging him to his side. The arm never left the dip of his body, thumb brushing uneven circles on the covered skin.

The movie ended when years later they met again, different lives, different people but the feelings never changed. The girl thanked him for always being there as her friend and he just smiled. Told her he was happy about her life and walked away. Without confessing. Without spilling the truth.

“That’s it?” Jisung croaked, speechless. His heart was about to shutter.

Minho shrugged. “What a crap.”

“That’s so—” His voice broke suddenly. “That’s so stupid.”

Minho turned slightly, something emotional flicking in his eyes for a second longer.

Jisung sobbed for the next thirty minutes until he got tired and curled on Minho’s bed, shoulders brushing.

“I’m tired.” Jisung whined, eyes red and cheeks puffy from his crying.

“Then sleep.” Minho said, staring at the ceiling.

“I can’t.” That’s what he said, but all he could see was black.

A soft sigh. “Sometimes I don’t get you, Ji.”

“Me too. You’re weird.”

“You’re weirder.”

“Nah, I’m normal.”

“I like normal.”

Jisung’s closed eyed shot open, heart skyrocketing.

“W—What?”

Minho’s blank expression quickly recovered, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. “You heard me.”

He debated on whether he should say it, but he talked anyway.

“I like weird too.”

The crisp bite of his usual mint scent softened. It became warmer, sweeter—like fresh mint steeped in honeyed tea. Jisung’s heart would pop out of his ribs if this went on.

“I’ll—I’m tired I’ll go to sleep.” He blurted before Minho could say anything.

In all honesty, Jisung wasn’t avoiding the conversation, he was tired for real (he didn’t even have energy to get out of the thin blanket). He felt impossibly hot and his whole body was covered in sweat. His head was throbbing and his stomach was cramping—just a bit. When was the last time he’d taken a shit? Three days? Constipation was his worst nightmare. He read—TikTok’s a valid source—that it was hereditary too.

“You’ve already told me that.”

“Yeah, okay. Goodnight.”

He heard Minho chuckle. “Goodnight Jisungie.”

Jisungie…

Curled comfortably on his side, Jisung pressed his face a little deeper into the pillow, smiling to himself. His thoughts, once drifting from one thing to another, became slower and softer. Each inhale brought that reassuring trace of mint, and each exhale seemed to carry away another piece of the day's worries.

He fell asleep at the sound of Minho’s soft puffs of air and the mint curling around him.

Jisung groaned quietly, brows knitting together as he shifted under the thin covers. His whole body felt… off. Not sore exactly, but weak. Like all the energy had been drained out of him overnight and no one bothered to refill it.

“…ugh,” He mumbled, voice rough.

His eyelids fluttered open slowly. The room was bright. Too bright.

He squinted, lifting a hand to shield his eyes, but even that felt like too much effort. His arm trembled slightly before dropping back down on the bed. He tried to sit up.

Bad idea.

The moment he moved, a wave of dizziness hit him hard. The room tilted and his stomach dropped as his balance completely gave out.

Ah.” He gasped, quickly grabbing onto the sheets.

His body felt wobbly. Unstable. Like he couldn’t quite hold himself together. His head throbbed faintly, warmth spreading under his skin in an uncomfortable way.

Too hot. Way too hot.

He kicked the blanket off weakly, breathing a little heavier now. Even that small movement left him feeling more exhausted than it should have.

Why was he so tired? He hadn’t done anything. Just talked, cried and slept. Did he not sleep enough? Maybe.

Maybe Minho could help. But he was too spent to move his throbbing head from the comforting plush of his pillow. Call that childish but he liked it in there. His throat was dry and he tried to blink back the sting of tears surfacing.

“Min.”

He blindly patted the space next to him but was only met with cold sheets.

“Minho?”

Shit. How long had he been sleeping? Was Minho stealing his breakfast?

Not today motherfucker.

Jisung hesitantly glanced at the edge of the bed.

“Fuck it.”

A loud, surprised yelp left his mouth when his legs didn’t cooperate, and his body slammed to the floor.

And god, it hurt.

His bare thighs twisted against the soft, fluffy carpet that wasn’t so fluffy anymore… It felt like it was getting soaked from something thick and runny and… smelly?

The room itself smelled like a field of jasmines was shoved into Jisung’s nose. It was all over the place, suffocating and steamy. And thick. So thick, like the honey that always goes with his tea to make it drinkable.

He didn’t have enough time to process what was going on as a sharp, sudden cramp twisted low in his abdomen, so intense it made his vision blur instantly.

A broken sound tore out of him as his body curled in on itself, hands flying to his stomach, fingers pressing hard like that would stop the pain.

Jisung’s breath hitched violently, a whimper slipping out before he could stop it. His panic didn’t let the shame out. “W—What… What is—ah!” He cried. The pain wouldn’t stop, it was only intensifying.

His whole body trembled, knees pulling closer to his chest as instinct took over. He curled tighter on the floor, forehead, dump with sweat, pressing into the carpet.

It hurt. It hurt so bad. Not like anything he’d felt before.

Was he dying?

Was he sick?

Or was he—

Suddenly the bedroom door burst open and Jisung flinched at the loud slam of the wood against the wall.

“Jisung what—oh my god.”

Jisung looked up to find Minho standing on the threshold of the room, fingers tightly gripping the doorframe and his eyes… what was wrong with his eyes?

There was a hungry, almost familiar animalistic look, pupils expanded and mouth hanging open in a low growl that vibrated through every corner of the room.

The scent of mint hit Jisung next, and he didn’t mean to whimper. But he did. Pathetically, in front of Minho.

“Hyung…” his voice came out trembling, like a plea. Minho tensed, body going stiff. “Hyung p-please help me—what’s going on? I’m scared.”

Jisung got worried when his hyung didn’t reply.

He whimpered, unable to move himself from the floor. His thighs felt very sticky and every piece of clothing was clinging on his body like a second skin.

“Hyung!”

Minho took one step forward. Then stopped immediately, jaw clenching so hard that a vein popped out. The mint thickened so much that Jisung moaned, his cock begging for friction.

“Don’t move,” Minho said, voice low.

Jisung let out a shaky, confused sound. “What? B-But I need—"

Don’t,” Minho repeated, so sharp that Jisung jolted with a small whine.

Was he talking to himself?

His voice was deep, rough and almost unrecognizable. If he wasn’t standing in front of the panicked boy, Jisung wouldn’t have known it was his hyung.

And he didn’t act like his hyung. He acted the same way like when he went into… rut.

Was he in rut?

The only time he had seen his hyung being in a rut and losing his self-control was about two years ago. Minho wouldn’t let Jisung even call him when the time was around.

Or was… Jisung in rut?  No, ruts weren’t supposed to make you feel so weak and... vulnerable.

The epiphany hit Jisung like a punch to the gut. Or a cramp to the stomach. Nevertheless, Jisung was presenting.

But were they supposed to hurt like this?

His mouth fell wide open with a loud sound that screamed pain. He felt like he was dying. The whole room swam and he couldn’t move a muscle. All he wanted, all he needed was Minho.

“Please, I need you!” He sobbed and in a flash Minho kneeled in front of him, picked him up by the armpits and gently placed him on his lap.

Jisung’s face was squeezed between Minho’s palms who had snapped from whatever trance he was into and now looked extremely worried.

“F—Fuck, Jisungie. I’m so sorry.” He struggled to talk before shallowing loudly. “What do you feel?”

Jisung could only whine in response. His whole body burned, he couldn’t feel his limbs and there was definitely something wrong somewhere between his legs, because all he could feel was a constant, hot steam pouring out of his asshole. Not to mention that restless feeling again when something was trying to batter against his ribcage, whispering at him to stop resisting and give…

“Ji, do you hear me?”

“I—I can’t breathe.” He managed, voice coming out in chocked gasps. He clenched his eyes shut as he felt a sudden cramp hit low.

“Hey. It’ll be okay. I got you.” He said as soon as an overwhelming amount of mint pheromones was released along with the jasmines already existing in the small space.

“Hyung…” Jisung gripped his broad shoulders to steady himself in a wave of dizziness. Minho’s found the curve of his waist. “What is happening? Am I—presenting?”

Minho’s mouth opened, then closed. He looked troubled yet it was like he knew what was happening. Instead of replying he just stared. His sweaty palms on Jisung’s burning skin dug and they felt even warmer.

“Hyung! What’s wrong with you? I’m hurting!” Jisung sobbed, fisting his shirt and tugging aggressively.

Minho blinked five times. “You—Yes. You’re—presenting. Already have.”

Jisung’s throat closed. Why was this happening now of all times? In Minho’s room? Deja vu hit him, the memory of Minho’s own presentation flooding his memories.

“W—What am I, Hyung?” Jisung’s voice trembled. Even if he could have possibly guessed his direction, he didn’t want to mouth it out loud. Maybe he was wrong. He couldn’t be an… an…

Minho’s knuckles caressed his wet cheeks, like he was delicate before tucking a strand of hair behind his ear.

“I knew that you’d be such a beautiful omega, Jisung.” His voice had never been softer.

Jisung’s body locked up, eyes widening comically.

“W-What—I’m not—"

This was a nightmare. It had to be. He should wake up in the next second, watching his Hyung sleeping pretty next to him.

Jisung’s vision fogged, his sharp inhales getting even more frequent.

He was scared.

Minho’s hand rested on his cheek as he collected the river of tears running down his pale face.

“Jisungie… Come on. Don’t cry, please.” Minho begged, his scent turning sour.

“M-Minho I don’t—know—w-what to do.” Jisung curled himself on Minho’s chest.

He was scared.

He could feel his hyung’s rapid heartbeat and sharp rise of his chest as he soaked his shirt with tears.

The jasmines were choking him, making him overwhelmed and overpowered at once. Jisung gagged, feeling sick.

Minho whispered low praises until his hiccupping faded out and the smell of jasmines got blocked by his favorite one—mint. It always managed to calm him down. Jisung was pliant in Minho’s unreleasing hug and had no intention of moving away.

The fingers resting on the curve of his back twitched. Jisung thought he would leave holes in his skin if he kept pressing there. It hurt but… he liked it.

Because Minho was taking care of him. Because Minho’s attention was on him. Because Minho was holding him. Because the alpha was holding him. Jisung shuddered at the thought of presenting himself for the alpha. Let him take, take, take, take…

The alpha…

He was at the mercy of the alpha.

His mouth fell open in a small whimper, still clinging to Minho’s upper half. “It hurts…”

“Shit. I know, I know. I’ll call—"

Alpha…” Jisung mewled without thinking twice. His inner omega was freed from the depths of his soul and was taking control. Jisung, desperate and weak, let it.

Minho’s chest vibrated with a deep growl. “No. Don’t ask me that, Jisungie.”

His omega cried at the rejection. He was being rejected. He couldn’t be. He couldn’t

A loud whine echoed in the heavily scented room. The combination of jasmine and mint made his head spin and his mouth water.

Drool, sweat and tears were falling in the space between them. Jisung’s chest convulsed in a high-pitched sob.

Please!”

Minho’s eyes closed, head tipping back in a quiet curse.

Jisung’s eyes followed the movement and fell on his neck. The skin looked rough in a certain spot, probably being the scent gland. If he buried his face in there… he could smell him the most.

So that’s what he did.

Mint invaded his nostrils, swirling its way down to his throat, then his lungs and stomach… He breathed again and again until it wasn’t enough, so he planted the flat of his tongue there and started licking like a dehydrated animal. He was behaving like an actual animal at this point.

Stop.” The alpha pleaded but Jisung couldn’t let go. His lips wouldn’t leave Minho’s neck, sucking on the swollen skin and taking mint, mint, mint

Minho trembled above him and when Jisung pulled back he could see his bared teeth and his sharp canines.

Jisung was so horny for this man.

Maybe Hyung could tell, because in the next moment he was gripping Jisung’s hair and pulling his head back. Jisung whined at the sting but got rewarded by getting a clear view of Minho’s face and… damn

His face mirrored exactly Jisung’s thoughts. He looked as if he wanted to devour him, pupils blown black and sharp teeth on display.

He shamelessly moaned as Minho tugged his hair again.

"Stop.” He said but instead he pulled Jisung impossibly closer until they both breathed recycled air.

Jisung’s omega purred at the sight of the alpha’s pretty lips falling open. Jisung, transfixed in the sight, did so too.

Minho stiffened at the sound.

“Fuck.”

Jisung’s moan was cut when Minho’s mouth slammed against his, fingers clutching tighter at the alpha’s shirt as raw instinct completely took over. He was overwhelmed, body burning hot and legs shaking beneath him.

Minho’s hand slid up, gripping the back of his neck and pulling him closer like distance wasn’t an option anymore.

Jisung was so dizzy, even with his eyes closed he could feel the world around him spinning. When his mouth opened in a loud whine, Minho’s tongue entered forcefully, licking the inside of his wet walls and making him keen.

Ah, ah.”

It was too much…

Too much yet not enough.

Their hungry kiss lasted until they were both out of oxygen, gasping in each other’s mouths. Jisung hadn’t realized that he’d started moving.

He was desperately rutting against Minho’s thigh, feeling his cock leaking pathetically under the articles of clothing.

Too much.

Yet not enough.

“Please, Hyung,” he whispered, voice breaking apart. His hips grinded shaky circles, leaving the fabric soaked with slick. His slick. “I know you can make it better—nghhh it hurts so much.”

“You don’t know what you’re saying, you’re in heat.” Minho warned, tongue dragging over his cheek, his jaw and his ear. He nipped under it and Jisung felt himself leaking uncontrollably.

“N—No, no please I’ll be good. Alpha, I need you.” Jisung shook his head, a whine catching in his throat. He clutched Minho’s shirt, petrified to let go.

“You’re sure, baby? You want alpha’s knot?” Minho’s teeth caught his ear, pulling gently until they drew a whine out of him.

“Yes, yes. I want—I need your knot. Please, please.”

He slid one arm beneath Jisung’s thighs, the other around his back, and stood in one fluid motion. Jisung clung tight, burying his face in his neck and consuming his scent. He felt drunk—mint, Minho and his knot was all he could think about.

He was lowered on the bed, head founding soft pillows and legs spreading wide, asking for something before the words could form in his mouth.

After removing his shirt, Minho wasted no time crawling on all fours and coaxing his mouth open with his tongue. Jisung melted, his own organ swirling around Minho’s. Jisung gasped when he pressed deep, sinking his head further to the cushions.

Jisung’s omega howled satisfied, and needing something that only Minho could offer.

The hungry Alpha mouthed down Jisung’s throat, teeth scraping over his pulse, and Jisung arched with a sharp cry. His hips jerked seeking friction, but Minho pinned him down with one hand on his hip.

“Easy there.”

Jisung whimpered, cock pulsing under the lack of attention. His nails drew angry lines on the alpha’s biceps.

“Be a good boy for your alpha and listen.” Minho growled, the command rushing straight to Jisung’s lower abdomen.

His dick twitched, straining against his shorts. The scent of jasmines thickened, carrying a honeyed stickiness at the edge of it.

Mmghhh… yes m—my alpha. I’ll be good for my a—alpha.”

Minho hummed, pressing a wet kiss to Jisung’s clothed chest. “That’s it. Lift your arms for me.”

Jisung obeyed without a question. He was surrendered at a version of Minho he had never seen, sweetness and dominance in the same spoon.

His shirt was torn from his body and Jisung felt relieved that the soaked material was gone. He felt disgusting at the incredible amount of sweat clinging to his body and making it glister under the morning light.

“Baby,” Minho breathed, dragging his lips over Jisung’s, stealing another kiss before pulling back and nipping at his collarbones. He licked every inch of his chest, purple bruises and claiming bites blossoming on the way.

Jisung whimpered when his tongue reached his navel, fingers dipping on the waistband of his shorts. His hands flew to Minho’s head in a silent beg.

“You want it off, baby?”

Jisung nodded so fast he felt lightheaded.

“Use your words.” Minho cooed, kissing the bulge. Jisung hissed with sensitivity.

Yes. N—Need your mouth. Please, Minho-ah.”

Minho groaned and reached up to kiss him with bruising force, before yanking down both his shorts and boxers. Warm air hit his lower half and the relief he felt when Minho took him in his hand made him forget about the fact that he was completely naked and unguarded in front of him.

“Suck.” He ordered and before Jisung could reply, he shoved two fingers into his mouth. Jisung gagged around them, eyes watering.

Minho pumped him tortuously slow, thumb digging on the slit where precum was leaking.

“Look at you. So wet, already.” Minho praised, thumb pressing harder and making his hips spasm.

Nnghhh—” Jisung continued sucking with choked sounds, thighs trembling as they fell apart wider.

Minho panted, leaving hot, open-mouthed kisses along Jisung’s tip, sucking at the head and circling it with his warm tongue. Jisung whimpered, hands restless on the sheets. “Hyung will make you feel so good.”

Ah, ah, yes—yes.” Jisung let out a high-pitched cry, muffled by Minho’s fingers.

Then Minho took him to the base, tip hitting the back of the alpha’s throat. Jisung whined helplessly as he spilled inside his mouth, vision turning white and ears ringing.

Ah, ah, ah—.” Jisung twitched with oversensitivity when Minho didn’t pull away. Instead, he kept bobbing his head, milking Jisung dry. His fingers were gone from Jisung’s mouth who struggled to form words. “Minho-ah stop.” He pleaded, tears running down his flushed cheeks.

Minho pulled off with a wet pop and licked his lips. “Okay?”

Jisung nodded, breathing heavy. Minho kissed his hip repeatedly, murmuring sweet words.

“You’re beautiful, Jisungie. So, so pretty, baby.”

Jisung whined, feeling his slick drenching the sheets. He couldn’t understand how he hadn’t run out of slick from the incredible amount he was producing. Was this normal?

Minho’s lips trailed a purposeful path, dangerously close to where Jisung needed him the most. The alpha groaned low, the sound rough and indulgent, licking a slow stripe up Jisung’s thigh before letting his lips hover over his hole.

Jisung panted, eyes rolling back when he felt something wet and warm break past the swollen muscle and sucking deep. Minho’s tongue curled and twisted just right before pulling away.

“W—Why did you stop?” Jisung whined, rim clenching around nothing. His hands sank in his scalp, pulling him back in.

Minho hummed softly, the sound vibrating between Jisung’s legs.

“Fuck. You taste so good.” His pupils blew wide, tongue dragging over his lips again and again like he could savor the taste.

Jisung’s breath hitched, the soft cock lying on his stomach hardening again. “What do I taste like? Tell me. Tell me.”

“Like… fuck—jasmines and honey. So sweet and buttery, just like you. Let me eat you out, please.”

Jisung moaned, threading his fingers through his hair. The alpha was submitting, begging to shove his mouth into his rim and taste his slick, even if he had done that already.

“Of course Hyungie. Of course you can—ah!” The omega’s legs trembled as Minho’s fingers sild down, slick and wet, and traced over him. They circled lazily until his rim twitched pathetically. Minho’s pupils blew wide, breath catching when he licked the liquid smeared on Jisung’s thighs.

He finally got his finger in and pumped him, slowly and deliberately, stretching his walls enough for his tongue to join.

The room smelled like slick and the mix of their scents—it was amazing and arousing. Wet and slurping sounds filled Jisung’s ears as Minho licked and gulped like a starved man, not daring to waste a drop of his slick.

His nose was buried on his rim and when he added a second finger, Jisung almost lost it. His toes curled, and he rode down Minho’s tongue. Minho moaned beautifully before adding a third finger and scissoring him wide open.

MinhoMinhoMinho,” The name fell like a prayer out of the omega’s lips. Minho’s tongue, Minho’s scent and Minho’s fingers drove him crazy, encouraging him to leak precum and slick and make a huge mess on and under him.

Jisung couldn’t see the alpha from how his head was tilted back, his body devoid of the strength required for him to lift his neck, but he could tell from the rocking of the bed that Minho had to be rutting his hips against the sheets.

The fingers made sure to curl in an angle and hit that specific spot that made Jisung see starts and come again untouched. Warm substance landed on his stomach and all the pressure was released from his cock as he reached his climax.

Jisung moaned loudly, the sound burning his lungs and scratching his abused throat.

Minho was hardly phased and wouldn’t let up, even as the omega started shaking beneath him. The alpha’s mouth wouldn’t leave him, lungs forgetting the need to breathe and slick becoming too pleasurable to let go.

He pursed his lips and sucked, leading all of it down his throat. When the feeling became too overbearing, Jisung closed his thighs, squishing Minho’s head.

Minho snarled, retracting his fingers and spreading them apart. His claws bruised on the omega’s soft flesh and Jisung sobbed, pain borderlining with pleasure.

Every time he attempted to speak, nothing left except choked whimpers and unintelligible weak pleas that were drowned out by the alpha’s gulps of his fluid.

“Hurts. Hurts!” Jisung finally managed, grabbing a fistful of Minho’s hair and pulling at the locks aggressively.

When Minho snapped out of it and looked up, all the strength was gone from Jisung’s hands that fell limp and useless on the drenched sheets.

His body felt weak and spent but hadn’t received what it was craving for, yet.

The fog from the alpha’s eyes cleared as he gasped a breath, suddenly realizing that all he breathed was Jisung’s slick and not oxygen. His grip relaxed and he moved upwards to hover above a panting Jisung.

“Hurts?” He asked, clearly holding himself back. The arms caging Jisung’s body in the mattress started shaking, muscles trembling with restraint.

“I’m okay.” Jisung whispered softly, pressing a sweet kiss to his mouth. Minho inhaled sharply and slammed their mouths together like he couldn’t get enough of him.

Jisung moaned as he tasted his own slick which was coaxing the alpha’s mouth and dripping down his chin.

Mint and lust tainted pheromones were everywhere and Jisung was completely surrendered to his alpha. His, his, his.

Minho’s throat glistened with sweat, warm and slick, and Jisung’s teeth ached, something instinctive and primal pushing him to seal a bond. But he didn’t commit to it.

“Alpha won’t make it hurt. I promise.” Minho kissed the side of his neck and breathed him deeply. Jisung could feel the regret in his voice behind the low vibrations of his chest.

“I trust you.” The omega confessed as Minho’s lips moved down his body, kissing the hickeys and creating new ones as a way of apologizing.

Minho’s movements halted, teeth hovering above his marked thighs.

“Say it again.” The command sent shivers up his spine.

“I—I trust my alpha. He makes me feel good.”

The alpha grinned against the inside of Jisung’s thigh before sinking his teeth in, hard enough to draw blood. Jisung sobbed, back arching from the bed and head falling back to the pillows.

“You’re mine, Jisungie. Mine.” His chest vibrated with an animalistic growl, eyes darkening again.

When Jisung looked up, he saw Minho tasting his blood and he felt dizzy.

Minho palmed himself through his boxers and Jisung could see the knot swelling already, darkening and stretching the fabric like it wanted to burst free. The alpha hissed, the friction not helping with his sensitivity.

Jisung’s mouth watered and his pulse spiked when Minho ripped his briefs.

“Tell alpha what you want.”

“I want—I want your knot.” He whined as his eyes zeroed on the cock, erect and ready to breed.

Minho sat between his thighs, fingers touching but not pressing on his tight heat. When Jisung tried to sink himself on them, Minho’s hand forced his hips down. The omega sobbed, nothing but air entering his loose hole. It was torture.

Minho clicked his tongue, disapproving. “Come on omega, you can say it better than that.”

Jisung whined, not liking the way the alpha stared down at him. He wanted to be good. He wanted to please his alpha. He wanted to make him proud. He wanted to bring that smirk back on his lips.

His face burnt red, instinct overpowering humiliation, and hugged his hands around his stomach.

“Please alpha. I want your knot. O-Omega wants to get filled up.” It felt weird to admit his secondary gender.

Jisung almost screamed when Minho’s fingers disappeared inside him and pierced his prostate. They came out wet and shiny and the anticipation when he stroked his own length with Jisung’s slick was indescribable.

“Fuck, Jisung. I might go feral at this point.”

They both moaned when the alpha pressed the tip of his dick to his stretched rim. Jisung clenched so hard that Minho hissed.

“So desperate, baby.” He said as he pushed deeper. Jisung’s hands squeezed Minho’s biceps, and his legs shook with every slow roll of his hips. “Alpha will give you everything you want.”

“S—So big, you’re so fucking big.” Jisung whimpered. He felt so full and Minho was not even halfway in.

“I know you can take it.” He pressed a wet kiss to Jisung’s open mouth, hanging in a permanent moan.

“I—I don’t—I can’t—” The omega begged, tears beginning to spring to his eyes at the intrusion.

“Just a little more, m’kay?” Minho didn’t wait for a reply as he dug his fingers into the meat of Jisung’s thighs and placed them on his shoulders. He was sure that finger marks would be there next morning.

Jisung arched, gasping as Minho pushed deeper. His rim stretched painfully, the slick enabling the slide as Minho forced himself in.

“God you’re so tight,” Minho panted, jaw locked. “I’ll fucking break you.”

Ngghhhh—Hyung’s so thick.” Jisung chocked, tasting his tears and his sweat.

When Minho’s thighs slammed flush against Jisung’s ass, both cried with pleasure. Jisung’s omega had never been happier.

But it was too much. The alpha’s cock twitched inside him and his head hung as he grunted.

“You feel so good, so good.”

Jisung was overwhelmed by their mixed scents, the heat in the room, the unpreceded feeling, he couldn’t reply. Only moan pathetically in response.

He was about to complain when he pulled back but his vision blurred as soon as Minho snapped his hips forward. A loud whine left his mouth and his eyes rolled to the back of his head.

Minho pulled and trusted again, harder this time. Jisung’s body would have flown if the alpha wasn’t holding him so tightly.

Slick spilled down on the space between his legs, soaking Minho’s cock that had picked up speed. His thrusts grew rough and desperate, having a sole purpose.

Pup me, pup me, pup me.

Minho slammed into him, tip finding Jisung’s sweet spot. A sharp cry splintered the room and the alpha smirked, rewarded.

“Yeah, you like that?”  He growled as he abused his prostate again and again until Jisung’s cum was out again. His whole body seized as he came for the third time on his belly.

Ah, ahmy god, Minho.”

“So beautiful, my Jisung.” Minho snarled, blissed by the sight. He humped on the omega like he had really gone feral, spit running down his sharp, bared teeth. His hands slid on Jisung’s waist and forced him on his cock, meeting him mid-movement.

Jisung could only stay pliant and let Minho take and breed him.

Hhgghhnn—knot me—pup me—I want—want your pups—please.” He mewled, locking his arms around Minho’s neck. He groaned on the omega’s open mouth and sealed their lips together. The kiss was fierce, just like Minho’s urgent movements, but Jisung felt a soft, sweet promise behind it.

Fuck yeah, baby. M’gonna breed you full of my pups. You want that?”

“Yes, yes mmffgh—pleaseplease do it.” He whimpered when Minho’s knot got caught in his rim. Minho pushed hard and forced it inside. Jisung saw white, the thick swell splitting him in half. He wouldn’t be surprised if he saw blood.

His slick continued to gash out even when the knot popped and united them together. His legs felt numb when Minho fucked his dick in and out until the knot no longer let him.

“Too much—I can’t no…more,” Jisung gasped, fresh tears wetting his cheeks.

“Alpha’s almost done.” Minho promised, licking them away and kissing the corner of his mouth.

Jisung’s body was still fighting the aftershock of his orgasm, clenching and twitching around Minho’s big knot.

His jaw locked, hips rocking in swallow thrusts until his cock twitched inside Jisung’s swollen insides and spilled hot cum. Jisung clenched hard, milking him dry and savoring every drop of his cum.

He whimpered when Minho forced the knot even deeper. His liquid was flowing in waves in his walls, filling the omega so much that his stomach started to swell.

Jisung’s trembling hands caressed his stomach, every slight pressure making him wince.

“M’so full…”

“Yeah, stuffed with my little babies.”

Then Minho pressed his palms and flattened them over his abdomen, making him sob. The gesture caused some cum mixed with his slick leak out of the knot and land between their bodies.

“You’re so perfect, my sweet omega. You’re mine. You belong to me and only me.” Minho leaned down and kissed Jisung’s neck softly.

Jisung sighed, exhaustion eventually catching up with him. He let Minho shower him with loving kisses and honeyed words.

“I’m yours—bred and stuffed by my alpha.” Jisung whined, his own scent blossoming up.

The sheets were ruined, drenched with sweat, drool, slick and cum but none of them cared as Minho switched their spots and placed Jisung on his lap. He laid back on the pillows and Jisung whimpered, the knot restricting their movements and poking at his sensitive walls.

“Okay, baby?” The alpha whispered, stroking Jisung’s hair.

He hummed, strengthless and too sex and cock-drunk to answer. But by his look, he could tell that Minho was reassured.

“Come here,” Minho pulled him in and brushed his lips against his. Nothing like the force he had shown before. This kiss was tender and affectionate.

Jisung melted, leaving a soft exhale through his nose when Minho tilted his head to deepen it. When they pulled away, their eyes met and Jisung saw that same unreadable shine flicker through Minho’s eyes again.

“Love you, Jisungie.” He murmured, eyes fond and soft.

Jisung’s eyes stung, heart feeling weak. He might not have snapped out of the trance of his heat and his omega instincts, but that little sentence cleared some of the fog stored in his head. His mouth managed to cooperate again.

“I—I love you too.”

Minho’s smile was toothy and silly and if Jisung wasn’t so tired, he would have chuckled. Instead, his lips curled and his cheeks turned red, matching Minho’s ears.

“Good,” The alpha pressed a quick kiss to his forehead. “Now rest.”

After that, Jisung let his head fall on his chest where he could feel his wild heartbeat. His eyes were closed before he could even register it and the tension from his body slipped away at every brush of Minho’s hands on his back.

The last thing he heard before he fell asleep was a sharp exhale and a deep “Fuck.”

When he opened his eyes, Jisung stared at the patio door. The curtains were drawn back, and the moon had risen to the sky, casting the room a light blue.

His body felt lighter and warmer compared to the way he had woken up this morning—twitching with sensitivity in every touch and cramping with pain. The craziest thing? He had presented. And he was an omega. And he had toe-curling sex with—

“Hey,” A hand tangled in his hair and Jisung’s brain stopped working.

He turned his head so fast that he nearly gave himself a whiplash. Every coherent thought vanished when he locked gazes with Minho.

It took him three full seconds to get the full picture; He was lying on top of him, completely naked, knot buried deep and connecting their bodies.

The alpha looked half-awake, dark hair messy from sleep - he hoped - and his expression soft. The moonlight caught on his features, outlining the curve of his cheekbones and the sleepy crease between his brows.

“Hyung?” Jisung blinked, voice trembling. He could smell his jasmine scent souring with tenseness and terror.

Minho’s mouth twitched and Jisung’s stomach fell. They both knew that they had crossed the line between friendship and something far more complicated. Ultimately, they both lost control, each one due to a different reason, but that doesn’t reverse the consequences.

“Do you remember what happened, Jisungie?” Minho’s voice sounded small and hesitant in aversion to his bold and unbothered nature.

Truth be told, every single detail was ingrained in his mind. Everything had felt so fucking good—Minho was malicious yet gentle and made Jisung feel like he was the most beautiful person on the world. Even if that might be too flustering and kinda cheesy to admit, Minho should have noticed back then. Or at least he prayed Minho did. I mean, it was obvious, right?

No matter how much Jisung wanted to, he couldn’t lie from his hyung.

“Yes, hyung. I um, I remember everything.”

Minho’s hand stilled on his head. “Like everything everything?”

Jisung nodded, not trusting his voice to break.

Minho inhaled spikily—like he did the night before—and said nothing more.

The pause dragged on and Jisung was prepared for the worst. He was afraid that Minho had never meant for this to happen or—worse—had gotten powered by his alpha’s inner prompting and give in to his mating compulsions. No feeling behind, just pure instinct. And that thought made him panic.

He raised his body before he could sob right there, in Minho’s arms, but unluckily he could move as much as the knot permitted—which was barely on the edge of the bed. Jisung whimpered when the knot got caught at the edge of his rim, still swollen and big inside his ass. He could only sit between Minho’s stretched legs, waiting for it to phase down.

He couldn’t escape from Minho. He couldn’t escape from his feelings.

It was all his fault. He should’ve controlled it. He should’ve acted normal. He should’ve been normal.

Jisung He had the intention to talk, but a loud sob came instead.

“I’m so sorry, hyung. I—It’s all my fault. P—Please don’t hate me. I don’t—want you—to—hate—me.” He hiccupped, trying to catch his breath. He felt lame crying like this while being knotted to the brim. It was humiliating and undignified. He wanted the mattress to shallow him whole.

Jisung jumped when Minho took hold of his tear-staked face. The alpha sat up on the bed, meeting his eye level.

“Please, Jisung don’t blame yourself—the responsibility is mine. I thought I was strong enough to take care of you, but… I lost control of my alpha. I couldn't help myself when I had such a beautiful omega before my eyes.” He confessed, endearment laced in his words.

“You—You really mean it? You’re not disappointed with my genre?”

Minho raised an eyebrow, but the soft smile never left his face. “Are you disappointed?”

“At first I guess I was…” He looked away, biting his lip. “B—But then it felt so… um, right? With—With you? I mean, I was relieved it was with you because… because...” Jisung was looking anywhere but Minho’s surprised eyes. He didn’t know if he should be happy or nervous again.

“I get it. You felt safe.” Minho completed the sentence and Jisung didn’t know why he was nodding because that’s not what he was trying to say. It looked like the ‘I love you, idiot’ had still a long way to go.

“So, are you... okay with this? Did you feel safe too?”

“Of course, Ji. If I didn’t feel safe, then what kind alpha of would I be?”

Jisung scratched the back of his head before remembering that he was bare in front of Minho. In a flash, his palms were placed on top of his small dick, which was hardening the more he got lost in those chocolate eyes.

Minho laughed, but didn’t glance down. His eyes hadn’t strayed from his face all that time, and Jisung was grateful for that.

“So we’re okay and you don’t hate me.” He still felt very insecure, afraid that Minho was trying to butter everything up and make Jisung feel better. When one thing was on his mind, he couldn’t ignore it until he was reassured multiple times. Minho knew that.

“No Jisung, I could never hate you—even if you begged me to,” Minho’s thumb grazed his bottom lip. “I love you so much that I don’t know what to do about it.”

Jisung’s heart might have left his body, because he didn’t feel it beating for three agonizing seconds.

Minho’s face turned into sheer panic at the lack of response. “Shit. I’m sorry, did I fuck up? I thought this was mutual—”

Jisung hadn’t planned this, but he kissed him anyway. The press of their lips was enough to shut Minho up and simmer him down. Jisung’s eyelashes fluttered and his cheeks went up in flames when Minho bit his bottom lip shyly and slid his tongue home. Jisung was quickly manhandled on the alpha’s lap again, thighs wrapping around his waist and hands working their way up on Minho’s flushed neck.

The omega whimpered when Minho abandoned his mouth to place open-mouthed kisses down his throat and shoulder.

Unnghh—Minho…” His hands found his favorite place—Minho’s dark hair.

He giggled when Minho playfully nuzzled in his scent gland before planting a lingering kiss there.

“I love you, Jisungie. I love you so damn much.”

“I’m in love with you too. You have no idea, hyung.” Jisung’s core trembled with the effort of pouring his heart, but he meant every single word. “I’ve loved you for a long time.”

Minho captured Jisung’s lips again, drawing him closer until their chests were flush, not allowing any air to pass between their sticky bodies. That way, Jisung could feel Minho’s rapid heartbeat that matched his own. His heart was slamming against his ribcage almost painfully.

He tucked Jisung’s hair behind his ear, gaze tender and full of love. “Yeah, baby? For how long?”

Feeling extremely timid, Jisung rested his forehead on his and closed his eyes. “A year for sure but um, I don’t know if it’s more than that.”

Minho chuckled, pecking his red nose. “You’ve got a high score, but mine is higher.”

“Then when?”

“I’ve been devoted to you since the second year of middle school.”

Jisung’s jaw dropped. And he thought that a year suppressing his crazy feelings was long enough. Minho had feelings for him since he was thirteen? But the bigger question is; How could Jisung be so oblivious all this time?

“That’s… oh my god. I can’t believe how patient you’ve been.”

“In any case, I won.” He declared, prouder than ever and Jisung pouted, turning his face away.

Guh, what do you want me to say? Congratulations? ‘Cuz you’re not getting that.”

“Don’t worry I’ll get something else.” Flirty Minho was back and ready to take Jisung’s heart and disappear.

“Stop that, or I’ll hit you.”

Jisung’s face burned so hot that he thought his heat was starting again. He gasped when Minho placed a hand to his chin and connected their lips again.

“You’re cuter when you act like a brat.” He said, but there was no bite in it.

“I’m not! I’ll throw you off the bed!”

“Not happening. You know it well that if I fall, you’re coming down with me.”

“Oh, uh—you’re still…” Jisung questioned, feeling the knot insistently clawing at his ass, unwilling to let go. He had almost forgotten about it. Almost. “Is this like, normal? How long does it last for?”

Minho shrugged with nonchalance. Jisung wanted to slap that smug grin off his handsome face.

“Honestly, no idea. My knot’s been swelling up and dying all this time, baby.”

Jisung, too aware of Minho’s restraint lines, decided to play it dirty. He clenched as hard as he could around the length and forced a groan out of his alpha.

“How is it now?” He asked innocently, with his biggest and shiniest eyes. He knew the answer damn well as Minho’s dick twitched inside him.

“You dirty little thing.” Minho shook his head, a dangerous glint in his eyes—almost challenging.

Jisung was good at competitions. Especially now, when he felt his body heating up and the second wave of his heat come around.

“Hyungie,” Jisung batted his eyelashes, raising his voice an octave. “I said that I love you, now let me ride you.”

Minho rolled his eyes, amused. “So bold, baby.”

“Hyung!”

“I love it when you act like a brat.”

Jisung stuck his bottom lip out and Minho’s dark eyes followed the movement like a predator watching its prey.

With that, the omega gathered the courage to size things up. A loud whine came out of his mouth as he rolled his hips, a dizzy warmth settling on his chest and abdomen.

Minho gritted his teeth, eyes briefly shutting close.

Jisung,” He warned but Jisung had no intention of stopping.

“Is alpha losing control?” He smirked, adoring the way he made Minho go insane.

The said alpha snarled before putting Jisung’s movements to a standstill by griping his waist. Jisung whined, unable to break free from his firm hold.

“Stay still.”

“Why? Stop tormenting me.”

“Jisung, I’m about to—"

“Come on! Why are you acting like that all of—" Jisung stopped with a hiss when a stinging cramp hit low in his abdomen. His pulse hammered in his ears and all the blood was rushing through his veins so fast, it felt almost electric.

A flush spread across his slick skin, making him completely aware of every sensation and twitch of the pulsing muscle buried in his walls.

Ahplease.”

The mint burst so thick that Jisung blacked out for a second. Feeling weak, he let his head hang and drop to the alpha’s shoulder.

Minho cradled his face in his hands, lust clear in his features.

“Want Alpha to take care of you?”

Jisung hadn’t been surer in his entire life. He nodded desperately, nuzzling into Minho’s warmth.

“Speak up, baby.”

“Yes, yes—I want my alpha.” He pleaded as tears prickled into the corner of his eyes. His slick was back again, gushing out and ruining the ruined sheets.

Minho’s nostrils flared. His eyes were an endless black, pupils completely blown out and spit dripping down his chin. His chest rumbled with a deep growl that made every strand of hair in Jisung’s body stand.

“That’s my good boy.”

Jisung’s vision fogged, body locking up by the praise. That’s how weak he was to Minho’s insane words.

With a firm hand on his hip, he lifted Jisung as much as the loose knot allowed and sank him back down to his shaft. Jisung cried out loud, dragging his nails on Minho’s arms when ass met thighs, the slap of their skin raising his cock with intrigue.

“I love your big—big, fat cock.” Jisug wailed, tears running in buckets.

Yeah, you fucking do.” Minho growled, as he grabbed a meatful, hands spreading Jisung’s slick-soaked cheeks. Along with his dick, fingers forced their way in and scissored him open.

Jisung threw his head back, mouth open in a permanent moan. He could barely feel where the pleasure ended and when the pain began.

Minho raised him again and slammed him back to his length, knot swelling even more and stretching him intolerably wide as he bounced him hard.

Jisung whimpered pornographically with every thrust. Thick slick and cum spilled down his thighs in glimmery drizzles.

“Look at you,” Minho groaned quietly. “So gorgeous like this.”

The compliment made Jisung’s scent explode. The mint reacted, pumping up. Jisung had become scent-drunk without even letting Minho rub himself in his glands.

His hard cock was following every bounce, angry red at the tip and helplessly leaking an excessive amount of precum. He reached down, but Minho slapped his hand away.

Don’t,” He rumbled, gaze piercing. “Eyes up here.”

Jisung whined but truckled to his alpha, not wanting to let him down.

“There you go, sweetheart.” Minho cooed before trapping Jisung’s lower lip between his teeth. Jisung whined as he pulled at the soft flesh, tasting metal in his tongue.

He didn’t have to catch his breath as Minho’s hips somehow moved even faster and set a brutal pace that made the entire bed creak beneath them.

His cock was throbbing with neglect. He wanted to spill. He wanted to spill.

The omega jolted when the knot poked his prostate. His back arched and his toes curled as practically a scream ripped out from his throat.

“Found it.” He grinned, biting his lip.

The alpha was merciless, massaging it with every upward thrust of his hips.

Please—nggghhh—ah, ah—wan’ to—spill—let me—" He blubbered, the need to cum so strong that stripped his speaking abilities.

“You want to cum omega?”

“Let me—Please let me cum.” Jisung gasped, feeling like he was about to zonk out any moment now.

Minho kissed the corner of his mouth, tongue flicking over the small wound.

“Of course you can. Don’t hold back for me.”

Jisung cried out helplessly, white and pink flashing behind his closed eyelids as his own penetrating orgasm rolled through him.

It shook his entire core and he quavered violently, enveloped Minho’s arms.

“So pretty, crying like this.” Minho growled possessively as his pace quickened, thrusts growing deep and shallow.

Ah, ah—am I?” Jisung’s thighs were quaking, fingers digging into his hair.

“The prettiest boy. My mate.”

If Jisung hadn’t just cum, he would’ve discharged a bload worth of three masturbations.

Mate,” Jisung echoed, somehow finding the strength to tighten around the length. “I love you.”

That sent Minho off the edge, spilling everything he had inside Jisung’s tight heat. His eyes were locked to the omega’s entrance where despite his huge knot, some of his salty liquid managed to escape.

Jisung whimpered at the slight roll of his hips, hands braced against Minho’s chest.

“Baby,” Minho whispered, leaving a soft kiss to Jisung’s temple. The omega sighed, relaxing under the care. “You did so well for me. I love you.”

When his vision became clearer, Jisung felt shy. He tried to shrink on himself, but Minho’s warning growl didn’t let him.

“Why are you hiding, sweetheart? Do you have a reason to hide?” The teasing tone was longer there. He sounded guilty and Jisung felt bad.

“No no! That’s not it! I just—um, I really liked it and now I feel embarrassed because I probably acted so weird and—uh, yeah.” Jisung rushed and the alpha chuckled.

He caressed Jisung’s cheek, eyes fond and sweet smile and Jisung’s face burnt red.

“I love you, stupid. You were perfect.”

“I—I love you more.”

Minho laughed softly before gently placing his lips on his. Jisung dissolved on the spot.

When Minho nipped at his swollen lip and coaxed his mouth open, Jisung whimpered, leaving his alpha to have the upper hand. Their tongues tangled and smeared saliva inside and outside of their mouths.

Jisung’s eyes crossed at the string of spit that formed after they broke apart.

“You’re so cute.” Minho wiped the drivel with his thumb.

Mmmm, I feel so brimmed.”

He was literally filled to the brim. Even if his omega had the energy for another round, he wouldn’t take it. He would blow up.

“Because you are, baby.”

Oh, call it cheesy and corny but Jisung loved that pet name.

A soft whine left his mouth as Minho carefully placed a hand on his swollen stomach and cupped the curve.

“Look at you, full and round, because of me.” His pupils were blown, eyes glued to the imprint of his cock in Jisung’s belly.

“It’s because you’re so big.” He had to have a size kink. More specifically, a Minho’s-big-cock kink.

“You’d look so good pregnant.”

Now, he wasn’t so sure if Minho was completely out of it.

Regardless, his whole body shuddered as he let the words sink into his bones.

“You really think so?” It was a miracle he didn’t stutter this time.

Minho nodded, kissing his chest. Jisung arched to the touch, cradling the back of his head as he combed his fingers through his hair.

“Yeah, and I mean it.”

“I love you.” Jisung’s voice cracked at the end. He didn’t expect to get emotional.

“I love you.” Minho smiled and brought their foreheads together. They stayed like that until Jisung’s sniffles subsided and the exhaustion really started to hit.

“I want to lay down. I don’t feel anything.”

“Oh? My little baby’s sore already?” Minho smirked and Jisung smacked his chest without showing mercy. Minho hissed, rubbing the spot and looking at him like a kicked puppy. “Ouch... Don’t be aggressive.”

“Stop infuriating your own ego. You literally fucked me less than ten hours ago.” Jisung scoffed. He couldn’t believe this man sometimes.

“Alright,” The alpha raised his hands in surrender. “I won’t tease you anymore.”

“Good, now lay me on the bed.”

“Whatever my grumpy boyfriend wants.” Minho tapped his nose and wrapped his hands around his lower back to move him.

“Boyfriend?” Jisung smiled and Minho paused for a mere second.

“I mean—yeah. If you—If you want to. I just want you to be my boyfriend so bad, Jisungie. I know it’s stupid to say it like that, but we’ve had sex and now I know you love me too so… Shit, sorry I’m talking nonsense.”

Jisung laughed, especially at the way Minho’s ears turned bright red.

“See how the tables have turned.”

“What?” Minho’s head snapped up at him, eyes wide and clueless.

“Of course I’ll be your boyfriend, hyung. I love you.” Jisung kissed him and Minho’s grip on his waist tightened. The omega grinned, because the bruises next morning would be inevitable.

It was difficult to pull away from Minho’s magic lips, but they were both tired and had to sleep.

Being a slicky and sticky mess, Minho did his best to wipe them off with the bed sheets since no other fabric was within reach.

Jisung laughed weakly at the attempt, too exhausted to protest. His limbs felt heavy, every muscle relaxed to the point where moving seemed impossible. He let himself be manhandled and sunk into the mattress with a content sigh, eyes already drooping.

Minho’s bare chest was pressed on his back and his hands wrapped protectively around his middle.

“Goodnight, Jisungie.” The alpha pressed a kiss to his shoulder, nuzzling closer like Jisung was his teddy bear.

Jisung hummed in response, the familiar fresh scent of Minho’s mint lulling him to sleep.

❀⊱┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄⊰❀

“Wait a fucking second,” Felix raised his eyeglasses, so Jisung could see his wide eyes. “You applied to the same college?”

Jisung shrugged, unbothered. “I mean, I applied first and he just kind of… followed? He’s always been like that—not spending a second without me. Not that I mind.”

Jisung was still skeptical about college. He didn’t use to care much about school, but now—as officially (finally) an adult—his life had gotten serious. And it was frightening to say the least.

“Wow, I didn’t expect Minho to be the submissive type.” Felix snickered and Jisung giggled too despite rolling his eyes.

“He’s not. My alpha’s just a bit overprotective.”

“Yeah, go on and shove your mate shit in my single ass.” The beta groaned with a shake of his head. He was still unlucky in relationships but it’s not like he doesn’t have years up in front of him.

Unlike Felix’s tragic love life, Jisung was thriving. He and Minho were in the nth honeymoon phase, and things were going more than perfect between them. With a visit to his now constant doctor, he got told that he’d been mated and imprinted a long time ago. The weird thing was that none of them had marks since both sides claimed that it was too soon to create a permanent bond—even if they wanted to. The doctor explained it may be possible that their bond was created on their first sexual contact, which was a year ago.

About imprinting… that was a whole another shock. Only dominant alphas like Minho could imprint on omegas when meeting a destined partner. And it was rare. Minho himself had no idea of his claim. He didn’t seem guilty, though.

Jisung’s face had gone through every emotion that day.

Apparently, they were meant to be.

Jisung had always considered Minho his soulmate, regardless of his feelings, but now that it is confirmed it feels so surreal. Fate had done its magic again.

Everyone had been confused when the two ‘best friends’ had disappeared for a week, but when they learnt that Minho had been fucking Jisung during his heat because he had presented, they lost their minds. Felix was the weirdest about it, while Seungmin was the proudest one—claiming that he should be a medium. No one was shocked when Jisung and Minho announced their relationship—as if they’d been expecting it, which is valid because they were both idiots in love without realizing it.

“Maybe, if you stopped flirting with every person who gives you attention for more than five seconds.” Jisung puffed up his cheeks and Felix waved him off laughing.

“You’re no fun.” The blond teased. “Seriously, though. Are you sure you don’t want… space? I don’t mean it like that, I just think that a little privacy is healthier for a relationship. It helps you feel more independent.”

Jisung raised an eyebrow.

“I said I’m serious! Don’t look at me like that!”

“Well, um although your advice is weirdly flawless, I don’t think I want to stay away from Minho either. It’d be actually much better if we lived together.” Jisung looked down shyly, heart swelling up at the thought of being apart from his boyfriend.

“So, you want to speed up?”

The omega shrugged, playing with his hair.

“There’s no speeding up a relationship, you know that well, Lix. I’ve been down bad for years. Minho has too. And I’ve known him all my life.”

“Fair enough. I give you that.” In spite of his words, Felix didn’t look convinced.

“Look. It’s not only because we’re mates. I love him and I want to… live with him and—and I want to start a life with him. I know we’re still young, but I can’t imagine my future without Minho.” His voice cracked, almost embarrassed by his honesty. Truth be told, he was glad he got it out of his chest.

Felix’s smile softened. He took Jisung’s hand and squeezed it encouragingly.

“And I know Minho wants that too but—I don’t know. I guess I’m just too scared to tell him.”

“I’m sure he’ll be wagging his tail like a dog.” Felix snorted and they both fell into a series of giggles.

“Just don’t overthink it. It’s alright.” He added and the omega was grateful once again to have such a kind friend like Felix.

“Yeah, we’ll figure it out.” Jisung finally took a sip of his tea, body getting rid of the antsiness. The agitation melted away completely when the door jingled open, and mint enveloped the café (his clothes smelt the same but that’s different).

Palms reached from behind and covered his vision.

“Guess who.”

Jisung’s smile widened so much that it hurt his cheeks.

“Cut it off Minho.” He smacked his boyfriend’s hands away and Minho’s frown appeared in the frame.

“I’m happy to see you too, baby.” Jisung was weak for his shiny eyes.

“Okay, okay, I’m sorry. I missed you.” He grabbed the alpha by his collar and dragged him down to kiss his lips. The sulk went away in an instant. Minho cupped his round face and titled his head, letting the kiss linger. The omega felt his smile break through against his mate’s lips, and Minho laughed softly, the sound mushy and affectionate.

Ugh. I hate third wheeling so much.” Felix whined and Minho’s expression was suddenly blank.

“I apologize for showing my love to my mate in front of your… judging eyes.” He sat on the empty chair, next to his omega.

Felix gagged, covering his eyes when Minho nudged Jisung closer and pressed a quick kiss to his temple.

“Y’all so cute, it’s disgusting.”

“And you need to get your ass laid.” The alpha fired back as the blond shrieked dramatically on his chair.

Jisung immediately dissolved into laughter, burying his face against his shoulder. The alpha wrapped an arm around his waist without hesitation, looking entirely too pleased with himself.

“Pleased to see you too, Lix.” Minho nodded as he suddenly stood up and Jisung took his hand. “Now if you excuse us, we have a date to attend.”

“Of course, I’m not stealing your ‘soulmate’ or anything.” Felix shook his head. “Also, you interrupted our serious conversation, but I’ll let that slip for now.”

“Really? What were you talking about? Minho glanced at Jisung whose face grew hot enough to rival the summer sun.

“U—Um we were just—it’s not that important so you don’t have to worry—” The more he looked at the alpha’s perplexed face, the more anxious he grew. He didn’t have a reason to be so nervous, but the situation was eating him alive.

“Jisung will tell you later.” Felix sighed, swatting them away. “Now go live your fairytale.”

Minho looked back flashing his cute toothing grin, before guiding his boyfriend out the café with a steady hand on his waist. Jisung melted when their eyes found each other, fondness and love written in them.

 “Oh, we will for sure.”
