And You? Do You Think About Me?

Summary:

“Don’t play with me,” she spat the words, her hand squeezing harder around Villanelle’s neck as she stared into her dark pupils. “This is what you wanted,” she grunted.

A choked laugh escaped Villanelle’s throat. “I think,” she said, as her lips curled into a grin, “this is what you wanted, Eve.”

Or

What would have happened in that hotel in Rome if Emerald Fennell had let me inside the writers’ room.

Work Text:

When Hugo called in sick the day previous to their flight to Rome, Eve had been glad. She didn’t want him there in the first place. Not because of him, although she didn’t particularly like him either.

But because this was between her and Villanelle. Or at least she felt it was. The little sanity she still had left in her told her she was supposed to be just a MI6 agent handling a very unpredictable violence-prone psychopathic assassin into a very delicate and dangerous off-the record operation. But professional and personal held no differences anymore when it came to them, the lines that separated them having blurred a long time ago.

This operation somehow felt theirs. It felt private, a part of the game they were playing. Hugo’s presence -or anyone’s, really- would have felt like an intrusion.

So when Carolyn called her to tell her that, in such short notice, they wouldn’t be able to find a replacement for Hugo, Eve had been more than fine with that.

It’s just the two of you. If anything goes wrong, you are on your own.’ Carolyn had warned her. But, far from having their intended cautionary effect, those words had only filled her with bubbling anticipation and excitement.

Now, after being alone in a poorly lighted hotel room in Rome for hours with no one to talk to and nothing to do apart from waiting in front of a screen, she found herself quite underwhelmed at the situation. She would take any distractions -no matter if they came in the shape of a posh, obnoxious and misogynist frat boy- over the exasperation she was feeling right now. Anything that would stop her thoughts from circling back to Villanelle and wondering what she was doing.

She sank in her chair with a sigh. It had been a while and Eve still had not heard anything from her, not since their furtive encounter at the restaurant where she had given her the back-up mic.

If she doesn’t wear it, I’m gonna kill her.

She shifted in her seat, impatiently fidgeting a pen between her fingers. Villanelle should have been back from her outing with Aaron by now, Eve figured. Based on what she had eavesdropped from their conversation, he had a very important meeting that afternoon and Eve was hoping Villanelle had installed the new mic by then.

So, why hasn’t she?

As minutes passed by, her concern only increased. Their entire mission depended on her being able to bug Aaron’s conversations. She trusted Villanelle’s skills, but she wasn’t the only variable in this equation; and she didn’t trust him.

She didn’t have a good feeling about Aaron and her guts rarely failed her. After all, that’s what had landed her that job at MI6.

One way, or another-” Villanelle’s voice materialised inside her head through the earpiece.

“Yes!” Eve jumped in the chair, leaning towards the screen in front of her.

“I’m gonna find you-”

Finally.

“I’m gonna get’cha, get,’cha, get’cha-”

A wave of relief washed over her. Maybe she was thinking too much into it, worrying too much. ‘You are too involved’, that’s what Martin had told her when she had paid him a visit previous to Rome. Operation aside, she had been struggling lately to keep Villanelle from consuming all of her thoughts, time and actions. So, maybe he was right. Eve was too invested and Villanelle could take care of herself.

She exhaled a long breath, allowing her body to relax for the first time that day. She felt all of her muscles slowly unclenching as they released the tension that had been building up inside her. She pressed the record button on her computer, grabbed her notebook and reclined into the back of the chair, ready to attend Aaron’s meeting.

***

After a couple of hours, the meeting was done and Eve was more than satisfied. She had what she needed. Well, mostly. There was still one day left, but today’s meeting had been very fruitful. So, after a day spent trapped in the turmoil her mind was, feeling suddenly uplifted was good for a change.

There wasn’t much going on on the other side of the earpiece at that moment, and Villanelle and Aaron didn’t have anything planned for the rest of the day as far as she knew so, in her current mood, she thought she could spare herself for a few hours and do something different from being glued to a chair.

Maybe she could go for an afternoon walk, enjoy the city lights and watch the sun set behind the beautiful ancient buildings in the city; she could use some fresh air. Or maybe go to a nice restaurant and treat herself with an expensive meal, expenses covered by MI6. She decided she would do both.

She stood up for the first time in she-didn’t-know-how-many hours and stretched herself. Once in the bathroom, she tied her hair up, her eyes fixed on her own reflexion tiredly staring back at her. She had had better days, but it was nothing she couldn’t fix with a washed face and some mascara.

She was about to do the first when she realised the earpiece was still in her ear. Villanelle had the spare one now, so she couldn’t risk getting it wet or losing it if she left it on the sink. She was mindlessly heading back to the room to put it to safety when the words pierced through her short-lived moment of peace.

I looked you up.” Aaron’s voice came flat thorough the earpiece.

She didn’t notice the corner of the bed until it was digging into her shin. She tripped, hissing a curse at the sudden burst of pain.

Oh, yeah?” There was a tilt in Villanelle’s voice, almost unnoticeable, but Eve could tell the question had caught her just as off guard as it had with Eve.

Shit.

Eve limped towards the chair, sitting on it and grabbing her pen.

You know what I found when I typed you in, Billie Marie Morgan?”

Villanelle hesitated before answering. “No.”

A shadow.”

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Hugo was lucky he had skipped Rome because Eve would have strangled him right there. She began to panic. Aaron figured it out.

He continued. “I know everything about everyone. You are the only person I know nothing about. A void.”

That’s me.”

Villanelle was being smart. Playing safe and avoiding complex answers. But Eve doubted it would work. Not with him.

I thought so. Me too.”

An excruciatingly long pause followed. Eve clicked her pen frantically through it, matching the beat of her rampant heart.

Do you ever get lonely?” It was Villanelle asking this time.

Never, I’m with people all the time.”

You don’t want to… talk to them… touch them, sleep with them?

What? Eve was so confused. What are you doing, Villanelle?

God no, do you?”

Yeah, I do. All the time.” Eve could sense Villanelle’s lips curling up in a smile as she said those words.

Is she…flirting with him? The thought made her stomach twist. No. She is working for us. And she doesn’t work like ‘that’.

But the thought didn’t offer any comfort, because that was exactly the problem. She didn’t work like that so, was she actually flirting with him?

She waited for Aaron’s response, but it didn’t come. Villanelle didn’t so much as peep either. Her leg bounced as she began to tap her foot impatiently on the floor, her anxiety growing with every second of silence on the other side of the line.

Her mind wasted no time to take her to the wildest places. Aaron Peel knew ‘Billie’ wasn’t real. Best case scenario, she could charm him -a thought that burned Eve like acid- but maybe he would just play along and keep an eye on her; worst one, Villanelle would be lying dead on the side of the road rather sooner than later.

Neither of them ideal. Nor was the fact that the whole operation was hanging by a thread, and the only thing Eve could think about was her.

Where are you?

She untied her hair again, running her fingers through her curls to comb them. She glanced at the bathroom. Her plans would have to wait. There was no way she was going to go out without knowing if Villanelle was okay.

Time seemed to stretch out as she waited and waited, the numbers that marked the minutes on her computer screen changing at a painfully slow speed every time she checked it.

“Villanelle, what are you doing?” She sighed, reclining into the chair. She wasn’t hoping for an answer, she knew Villanelle couldn’t hear her. But it was a desperate attempt to stop the endless spiral she was getting stuck in, as if she could force the thought out of her mind just by saying it out loud.

It didn’t work, of course. Those same words echoed back into her head. “What are you doing?”

And it was even worse this time, because now she could swear it was Villanelle murmuring them; Eve’s own mind sick and twisted way of taunting her.

A faint breath followed, like a gentle caress in her ear that made her brain tickle.

The pen she was anxiously fidgeting with dropped from her hand.

Are you going to listen all night?” Villanelle’s voice was low, back to the usual sharpness of her russian accent.

Eve’s eyes widened with excitement, her skin prickling at the realisation. She was talking to her.

Her heart gave one big loud thud in her chest.

She scooted towards the edge of the chair but she didn’t dare to move any further nor make any sound, her senses alert and focused on every sound that came through the earpiece, lest she miss even one whisper.

Villanelle heavily breathed into her ear. “Are you having fun in Rome?” Followed by a coy chuckle that sent a pulse between Eve’s thighs.

Eve’s heart raced; faster with each word, harder with every beat of Villanelle’s respiration delivered through the earpiece.

You should let yourself go once in a while,” Villanelle cooed inside her head. “I can help you.”

Eve´s body felt fully awake and vibrant. Responsive to Villanelle’s words, demanding to be touched. Suddenly, the idea didn’t sound so bad. Allowing herself to indulge in her fantasies, letting the reins loose for once; no thoughts torturing her, no need for control.

She turned around and glanced at the bed.

I’m alone.

She stood up.

No one will ever know.

She walked towards the bed.

Not even Villanelle.

She took her pants off and laid on the bed.

Am I really doing this?

But her hands were already slithering below the bedsheets and under her shirt. She closed her eyes, letting Villanelle’s uneasy breathing drown her thoughts.

She found her breasts and began to knead them gently; every squeeze increasing the warmth in her lower stomach, every caress bringing her closer to finally let go of her perennial self-imposed restrain, until her hands were no longer hers.

And then, when she rubbed one of her nipples it wasn’t her fingers playing with it. It was Villanelle’s mouth around her breast, sucking on her nip until it was so hard and sensitive it made her gasp.

Do you miss me, Eve?”

When she pinched the other, it was Villanelle’s teeth nibbling on it and giving her goosebumps all over her body.

When her hand slid down her body and between her legs, it was Villanelle’s body sneaking over her. Every spot her hand lingered on, applying some extra pressure, was Villanelle’s weight pushing her onto the bed.

I bet you do.”

With every moan that came through the earpiece, Eve could feel Villanelle’s breath in her ear, her head nuzzled in her neck, whispering to her.

Villanelle. Villanelle. Villanelle.

Villanelle’s face buried between her legs. Villanelle’s tongue stroking her core and tasting her wetness. Villanelle’s lips sucking her clit, making her twist from pleasure. Villanelle’s fingers delving inside her, thrusting, curling; their rhythm synchronised with Villanelle’s heaving breaths inside Eve´s head.

Eve could tell Villanelle was as close as her from release by the way her sighs turned into muffled moans, as she tried to be as silent as possible.

Eve, I wish you were here.”

Villanelle’s voice was airy, high-pitched. The most delicious whine Eve had ever heard, dedicated to her. The orgasm hit her like an unstoppable wave that washed all over her body, leaving her drowning and gasping for air.

Fuck,” Villanelle groaned, out of the blue, “wait-”

And then, silence.

Eve opened her eyes at the interruption. As the remnants of her orgasm left her body, self-awareness made its appearance, her arousal turning into embarrassment. A hard slap back to reality.

She quicky recoiled, sitting in bed and dragging the blankets along with her.

What the fuck was she doing? Had she lost her mind? They were in the middle of an operation. What if Aaron heard them? Had he?

One thing was Aaron knowing Billie was not exactly who she said she was; and another, him catching Villanelle wearing a mic. If the chances of them completing this operation successfully were low before, now they were nonexistent. They had blown it. All because they couldn’t keep it in their pants.

She got up from the bed, incapable of standing still for another second without losing her mind. The fact that there was no way for Eve to contact her due to the stupid rules of this operation made her want to pluck every hair of her skull one by one.

Fucking Moscow Rules.

She paced around the room frenetically, her body experiencing practically the whole spectrum of human emotions all at once. She was angry at Villanelle for being so reckless; but she was angry with herself too, for letting her cloud her judgement like that. She was concerned that something might have happened to her. She was afraid that she was going to lose her job, and she was other things she didn’t dare to name. All she knew for sure was that she had allowed this to go too far.

She didn’t know how much time she spent like that before she heard that knock on the door. She froze in place, her eyes piercing the wooden rectangle, as if she could see who was behind it just by staring hard enough.

Her steps were short and hesitant when her feet finally decided to move again, this time towards the door.

She warily opened it, just a few inches first, using it as a shield; partly because she didn’t know who was waiting on the other side, but also because she was just now realising that she was wearing nothing more than her shirt and her underwear.

“Hi, Eve,” Villanelle was standing in the hall, her hands in her pockets and a smirk on her face.

Eve’s heart thudded violently against her ribs at the sight of the assassin in front of her.

“Aren’t you going to invite me in?” Villanelle said as she made an attempt to enter the room.

Eve’s hand flew towards the doorframe, her arm creating a barrier between the room and Villanelle. “What are you doing here?” She said, drily.

Villanelle’s amused eyes darted to her arm and the back to Eve, before she pushed through and made her way into the room.

Eve’s eyes followed her as she closed the door behind them. “Are you crazy? You can’t be here.”

Seeing Villanelle alive and well did relief her. But as soon as her preoccupation for Villanelle´s safety faded, there was more space for her other concerns to grow.

“Why not?” she asked, a mixture of annoyance and boredom in her voice.

“What do you mean ‘why not’? You are putting yourself in danger by coming here.”

“Oh, Eve, I didn’t know you were so worried about me,” she purred.

“By that I mean you are putting the whole operation in danger,” Eve said, irritated.

“The operation is fine. We got the information that you need,” Villanelle said in a calm tone.

“Do you think he is stupid? Do you think he is not keeping an eye on you now?” Eve grimaced, her concern visibly plastered over her face. “Fuck, he probably had someone follow you just now,” she said to herself.

“No,” Villanelle shook her head slowly. “I think he is very clever,” she smiled smugly, “so clever he thinks no one can outsmart him.”

“Look who’s talking,” Eve scoffed.

Villanelle’s eyes narrowed, but she ignored her remark. “Eve, you need to relax,” she moved her hand towards Eve’s shoulder, but Eve snapped it away.

“Don’t tell me to relax!”

“I have everything under control.”

“Oh, really?” Eve mocked bitterly. “How is so?”

“Aaron and I are… friends now,” she shrugged. “Well, at least Aaron and Billie are,” she wriggled her eye brows.

“You don’t get it, do you?” Eve’s face twisted into a scowl. “Is this a game to you? There is so much at stake! My job, our lives…” She ranted. “If anything goes wrong, it’s just the two of us, you know what that means, right?”

But Villanelle didn’t seem to be listening to any of it, her eyes slowly scanning the room instead. “Mhm, just the two of us, Eve, I know,” she said, completely uninterested in Eve’s reprimand. Her eyes lingered on the unmade bed, then moved down Eve’s body, to her bare legs. “What were you doing?” she asked, once her attention was back to Eve.

The avalanche of words stopped. Eve’s mouth opened but nothing came out of her. She stiffened when Villanelle’s hand reached out and slid over Eve’s cheek. She moved it further into her curtain of curls, using the back of her hand to move it away, exposing her earpiece.

“I thought so.” Her lips curled up into a one sided smile.

Eve moved her head away, but red was already running up her neck and settling into her cheeks. “You need to go.”

“Eve, were you listening?” Villanelle’s smile was now a wide grin.

Suddenly, she felt too seen, too cornered. “Stop it,” Eve’s fingers curled into a fist, as rage build up in her. “This is serious.”

“Admit it, Eve.”

Eve´s nostrils flared. She could see in Villanelle’s face that she was enjoying it so much, exposing her like that; and that only made Eve angrier.

“You are insane,” she said through gritted teeth.

A crease appeared between Villanelle’s brows as she tilted her head, her smile slowly fading. “Aren’t you tired of lying to yourself?”

Eve mirrored her expression. “How would you know?”

“Everyone knows,” Villanelle scoffed.  “Why do you think your husband left you?”

Eve’s jaw clenched at her words. She could feel her nails digging into the palm of her hands from how tight her grip was. “Niko left me because you scared him away.”

“No, Eve, Niko left you because he knew every time you fucked him you were thinking about me,” Villanelle bit back.

Her words mercilessly landed like a knife in Eve’s chest and, suddenly, all she could see was red. Before she even had time to register it, her hand was flying towards Villanelle’s face, hitting her so hard the slap echoed in the room as a deafening silence fell between them.

Villanelle’s head snapped to the side from the impact. It lingered there for a second, before she took her fingers to her bottom lip. She arched a brow at the smeared blood on her fingertips and huffed a laugh.

“Wow, Eve,” she stared at her, tilting her head amusedly. “Is that the best you can do?”

Fucking brat.

Eve grunted, raising her hand to slap her again, but this time Villanelle didn’t allow it. She stopped her, her long fingers closing around Eve’s wrist when her hand was only a few inches from her face.

Eve tried to pull away but Villanelle didn’t let go of her grip, her eyes flashing as she held Eve’s rageful gaze.

She knew what Villanelle was trying to do. Pushing Eve’s buttons and watching her snap. Relishing Eve’s lack of control when she fell for it. Because she did, time after time.

She met Villanelle’s thrilled stare, watched her smirk grow when Eve unsuccessfully tried to release her arm for a second time.

Eve could feel her blood boiling in her veins.  It was maddening, in every sense of the word. Every fiber in her body dying to slap her again, so hard it would erase that smug face off of her. And then again, for ruining her marriage. And again, for Bill.

Her eyes darted to Villanelle’s mouth.

And again, for jeopardising this operation.

Then to her parted lips.

And again, for making her feel this way.

They lingered on the bottom one.

And again, until she was on her knees begging her to stop.

Swollen, split, bloody. Eve’s own doing.

And again…

She kissed her, instead.

Villanelle was taken aback for a second when their mouths met, which made all of Eve’s body rejoice at the thought of having caught her by surprise. Villanelle quickly released Eve’s arm to grab her face with both hands and pull her into a hungry kiss.

Eve followed, stepping closer and pushing Villanelle back until she was pressed against the wall. The taste of Villanelle’s blood on her mouth, salty and coppery, was almost intoxicating.

Her tongue probed Villanelle’s split lip, trying to savour as much of it as she could, but it was not enough. Eve caught her bottom lip between her teeth and bit hard, encouraging the wound open. The sting made Villanelle hiss, but she didn’t pull away. Instead, she smiled and allowed Eve to take, grabbing her by the waist and pressing her even closer.

The kiss turned desperate and ravenous. A push and pull, a mirror of them. Except this time, it was Eve doing most of the taking. She took Villanelle’s hair in her fist and pulled hard; she took Villanelle’s tongue between her lips and sucked, as if she could drink her out. She took Villanelle’s heavy breaths in her mouth and swallowed them.

No matter how hard she tried, she just couldn’t get enough; her mind poisoned by Villanelle’s taste, her senses drunk on her scent, her body craving every inch of her. That was what she had feared all along; that once she had a glimpse of Villanelle, Eve would be consumed by her.

She only pulled away to take Villanelle’s shirt off, briefly locking eyes with Villanelle’s mischievous stare, before she dove into another kiss. Her hands slid down to the hem of Villanelle’s trousers, tracing its circumference over Villanelle’s skin, before her fingers eagerly fought to unbutton them.

Eve felt Villanelle’s lips turning up into a smile as she chuckled. “See, it wasn’t so hard to admit.”

That’s when Eve realised. Villanelle was holding back, just to prove her point. Villanelle was the snake and Eve kept biting the fucking apple. A sudden surge of rage flushed through her.

Eve’s fingers curled around Villanelle’s neck, pinning her against the wall and making her gasp.

“What are you doing?” Eve asked, almost aggressively. But she already knew. Villanelle wanted her unrestrained. She wanted her to be a mess, and Eve had fallen for it. Again.

“I don’t know what you are talking about,” Villanelle said with a coy smile.

“Don’t play with me,” she spat the words, her hand squeezing harder around Villanelle’s neck as she stared into her dark pupils. “This is what you wanted,” she grunted.

A choked laugh escaped Villanelle’s throat. “I think,” she said, as her lips curled into a grin, “this is what you wanted, Eve,” her voice strained on that last word. The way Villanelle’s tongue danced around those three letters sounded so sweet yet so poisonous. Both a blessing and a curse.

Eve tightened her grip even more. Because it was true. And it was infuriating. Eve wanted this as much as Villanelle, but she was not willing to give her that satisfaction.

Having just learned the rules to the game, Villanelle was about to find out Eve could play too.

Villanelle exhaled heavily when Eve finally released her grip. She was still recovering her breath when Eve grabbed her by the arm and pushed her onto the bed.

She looked at Eve expectantly, when, instead of lying in bed with her, Eve walked towards the end the of the bed.

“Where are you going?” She asked, confused.

But Eve didn’t answer just yet. She grabbed the chair she had been sitting on all day and placed it at the foot of the bed. She sat on it, facing Villanelle.

“Touch yourself.”

“What?”

“That’s what I want,” Eve’s voice was low but firm. “Finish what you started.”

Villanelle’s eyes flashed as the ghost of a smile appeared on her face. She took her trousers off and crawled towards the bottom of the bed. She sat on the edge, her knees grazing Eve’s and her eyes fixed on her, awaiting.

Eve’s confidence wavered at the sight of Villanelle’s almost bare naked body in front of her. She shifted in her seat, trying to shake off her sudden insecurity, momentarily questioning herself.

Villanelle probably picked that cue up because she smirked and offered her a lifeline. “So, what do you want me to do?” she cooed, leaning slightly back, both of her palms planted on the bed behind her back.

“Take all your clothes off.”

She straightened herself in bed and unclasped her bra. Her hands travelled to her shoulders, where the loose straps of cotton that kept the rest of the piece still in place sat. She slowly slid the straps down her shoulders, until the bra fell onto her lap, revealing her breasts.

Eve’s throat closed, and she had to swallow hard to untie the knot constricting her breathing. Luckily, she was taken out of her stupor when Villanelle moved again, her fingers tracing the hem of her underwear as she tilted her hips to pull them off.

Eve’s pulse quickened, her eyes fighting the instinct to look away. She bit the inside of her cheek, using the pain to ground herself.

“Lay back,” she hastened, trying to keep her obvious flustering from Villanelle.

Villanelle reclined, her weight resting on one of her elbows, but keeping eye contact with Eve as her other hand slid over to one of her breasts.

She cupped it and squeezed it, gently rubbing her palm again her nipple. Eve’s gaze followed her movements, widening when her other nipple reacted too, hardening before her eyes. She looked back up to Villanelle, whose stare was fixed on her, glistening with thrill as she wore the most perfect smirk on her face.

Unable to keep eye contact any longer, Eve’s eyes moved down to Villanelle’s abdomen, to the shadow of her flexed muscles cast by the warm light in the room as she tried to hold herself in that position.

Eve’s fingers twitched, urging her to run them across the indentations of Villanelle’s body. Her hands gripped both sides of her seat, anchoring herself to it.

She glanced further down to her long legs, so delicate yet so strong. She noticed her silky skin slowly getting goosebumps, as if the current of electricity that was running through Eve’s body was using the spot where their knees touched to shake through Villanelle too.

Villanelle exhaled softly, dragging Eve’s attention back to her. She was visibly more flustered now, the up-and-down movements of her chest when she breathed getting sharper as she massaged her other breast.

Her respiration hitched when she pinched her nipple between her fingers, her cat-like eyes staring straight into Eve´s as her mouth tilted into an alluring smile, igniting a heat in Eve’s lower stomach.

“Enough,” Eve said in a husky voice, which made Villanelle freeze and blink at her. “I said touch yourself.”

Villanelle’s gaze sharpened at Eve’s words. She shifted her weight onto her other elbows before her hand began to slide down her body. Eve’s whole body was buzzing in anticipation by the time Villanelle’s knees parted open as she reached between her legs.

Villanelle’s body shuddered as her fingers delved smoothly between her wet folds and began to draw circles around her clit. Her breath progressively fastened, brief quick sighs filling the silence that surrounded them, making Eve’s need rattle inside her.

Eve pressed her legs together when she felt her own wetness soaking her underwear, but far from offer any kind of relief, the friction only made her case worse; every inch she moved making the fabric graze into her sensitive core and sending waves of pleasure up her body.

“What are you thinking of?” Eve asked, in an attempt to distract herself; anything to keep her mind from thinking about her own aching.

“You,” Villanelle looked at her through lidded eyes. “I always think about you, Eve,” her words were breathy, intercalated between the beats of her heaving respiration, “all the time.”

Eve already knew the answer, but that didn’t stop the furore hearing that affirmation sent up her spine.

“And you?” Villanelle purred. “Do you think about me?”

Yes. All the time.

“Faster,” Eve ordered, ignoring her question.

Villanelle whined, a mixture of pleasure and disappointment, but she obeyed, increasing the speed with which her fingers rubbed her clit.

Eve’s eyes fixed on the movements of Villanelle’s hand. The way her tendons twitched beneath her skin, how her long fingers glistened covered in her own slick as she pleasured herself. The same fingers Eve had touched herself to less than two hours ago. The thought of it made her dizzy.

“Can I?” Villanelle whimpered without stopping, her eyes darting down to her hand and then back at Eve.

It took a second for Eve to understand what she was asking. She nodded silently, her body frizzling from excitement.

Villanelle raised one of her legs onto the bed, her knee bent up and her foot planted on the bed sheets. Eve swallowed a gasp when she got a look of Villanelle’s exposed heat, swollen and damp, in front of her.

She slid her fingers through her folds, gathering her wetness, before she slowly inserted her middle finger inside of herself, her lips parting in a heavy breath at the motion.

“Fuck,” she groaned, as the hand she was using to hold herself up reached for her closest breast, idly kneading it.

Her finger moved in and out, drawing intermittent choked sighs from her; and Eve watched her, mesmerised, as her arousal untamed inside her.

Villanelle’s breath turned shallower and more abrupt as her finger moved faster, making her wetter and wetter, until she was dripping from her entrance.

That was the moment Eve realised this probably had not been the best of her ideas. She had always fantasised about Villanelle taking her, but this was something else.

Having Villanelle spread before her, panting and touching herself for Eve, just because Eve was telling her to. The most dangerous woman in the world at her will, it awoke a different kind of craving in Eve; something primal, that dissolved all of her coherence until all that was left was raw desire.

“Eve,” Villanelle moaned. “Come here.”

Eve took a long breath, digging her nails into her thighs. She wasn’t sure if she would be able to hold back.

“Use another one.”

Villanelle’s eyes widened, confused and excited, when she realised Eve was truly only going to watch. Her second finger slid inside effortlessly, joining the other in its relentless movement.

The hand she had around her breast dropped on the bed, fisting the bedsheets, when the elbow she was propping herself up on trembled. Her head fell back simultaneously, as a loud moan escaped her body.

“Look at me,” Eve ordered her.

Villanelle tried her best to do so. She stared at Eve’s hungry eyes, just like she had asked her to; her hair messily falling over her face when she lifted her head back up, and her cheeks flushed pink from her troubled breathing. An image Eve knew would be ingrained in her brain forever.

She kept her eyes locked with Eve’s, as she increased the speed of her fingers until she couldn’t hold on any longer. Her elbow finally gave in and she fell back onto the bed, all of the sounds she had been restraining inside her from the effort of keeping herself in that position breaking loose as her body relaxed.

Villanelle turned frenzied, her chest and stomach rising and falling out of synch, all of her body glistening as pearls of sweat appeared on her skin.

“Eve, please,” Villanelle moaned.

The neediness in Villanelle voice made the fire inside Eve turn into a blaze. For a moment, she reconsidered. She was just a few inches away from Eve’s touch. If she were to stretch out her hand…

“No.”

“But I’m so close,” she whined.

“Good, keep going,” Eve was dying inside, but she was set on proving her point.

“Eve, please, I want you to tou-”  her words were cut out by a moan before she could finish, as she moved her hips, arching her back and wriggling desperately to get more fiction.

Eve couldn’t stop her body from reacting to her. It feasted from Villanelle. Each moan that escaped her throat landed in Eve’s core like an invisible touch; each time Villanelle’s fingers buried inside herself and she twisted from pleasure, Eve felt it in her own flesh, bringing her closer and closer to the end.

“Please,” Villanelle pleaded. “Touch me.”

“Keep going,” she said firmly. “Come for me.”

Villanelle orgasmed almost instantly, her body violently squirming as she plead and moaned and mumbled Eve’s name.

“Don’t stop yet,” Eve managed to say, frenetic at the feeling of her aching ticking like a bomb about to explode.

“Eve, I can’t,” she cried, but she kept going.

“Don’t stop until I tell you to.”

And Villanelle didn’t. She begged, and cursed, and panted. But she didn’t.

Fuck.
