Joshua had just gotten out of church, holding his bible to his chest, his steps were in perfect rhythm, as usual he planned on stopping by a cafe close to the park, that was until as he walked by an alley a voice called him over.
J: Hm?
?: Yeah, you kid, c'mere
Joshua walked closer until he could see whose voice it was. It was his "friend" Kevin, troublemaker... a Satan worshiper, as Joshua's mother called him.
J: What do you want?
K: Nothing much...just...wanted to talk to ya
J: We've got nothing to talk about. Last time we did you were making all sorts of comments!
K: Oh please... I just mentioned how I got a new tattoo
J: A tattoo that is located JUST ABOVE YOUR PARTS
K:You mean my dick?
J: Yes- your... *Sighs* will you let me leave now?
K: Hmm...no
Kevin pinned down Joshua on the wall
K: Y'know... it's been a while since you've been at my house, maybe you could show up there?
J: What about your mom?
K: Out of town for a few days
J: Fine...just have to tell mom, I'ma be out tonight
K: You're an adult. May I remind you, that your mommy doesn't need to know shit
J: She gets worried about me
K: Hell no, she doesn't, she cares about the reputation of your family, I promise you, nobody knows or cares about what we're doing.
J: Fine... I'll be there at 9, after the sermon
K: Why are you even going? Don't like...not enjoy them?
J: Well...unlike you, I'm trying to not go to hell, you lord of angst and darkness
K: Hey--
J: Hmph — Joshua pushed Kevin away and went on his way, glancing back at his surprised friend.
As soon as the church's sermon ended Joshua was already calling a cab, soon he was at his friend's doorstep, he was nervous, he knew that he shouldn't be doing this, a man of god would never sneak around to someone's house in the middle of the night, presumably for not so pure reasons...
And yet he knocked on the door and nervously waited.
Meanwhile Kevin had just gotten out of the shower, hair damp from all the steam, tower hanging on his hips and body still warm, he heard the knock as he figured what to wear, Kevin ended up wearing just the towel and his confidence.
When he opened the door, Joshua immediately blushed and looked away, Kevin snickered at the reaction, finding it amusing and a bit cute.
K: Come in, I'm sorry for the lack of attire, just got out the shower
J: Whatever — Joshua hurriedly got inside the house— close the door before you get sick
K: Oh~ look at him caring about me
K: C'mon why don't we go to my room? Get yourself more comfortable
J: Fine...
Both of them went into the room, Joshua sat at the edge of the bed while Kevin just threw himself completely on it
K: C'mon get comfortable, you cuddled with me thousands of times, it's fine
J: ...idk, you know how I feel about...this
K: Hey...relax, you know I'd never push you or anythin'
J: I know...maybe I do just need to chill...
Joshua kicked his shoes off and put his bible on the nightstand, slowly crawled up in the bed and lied down next to Kevin
K: So...how was church today?
J: Same thing as always... I think the pastor is losing creativity on his sermons, or he just went through them all apparently
K: Heh... don't know how you stand to go to these things everyday
J: Neither do I, but how about you?
K: Nothing much, honestly, but I got a gig at a bar, around the slut street
J: You mean Blossom street
K: Yeah yeah, whatever, stills has a lot of bars and a lot of strip clubs
J: You absolute sinner, you're going to hell for your lust
K: Awwwwe Joshy's on his rant again about how I'm going to hell!!! Love it
J: You already have Satan's symbol on your back and not to mention how you dare to mutilate your body with those...
K: Piercings?
J: Yeah! Yeah-- doesn't matter
K: Thought you liked them
J: ...Well a bit
K: Really?
J: Makes you look...good... I guess
K: Thanks...— his hand slowly went around Josh's waist, pulling him closer— means a lot to me
Joshua didn't push him away or even complain, he... he did like being close like this, cuddling...alone, the skin of his friend was so warm, so comforting... Joshua pressed himself closer to Kevin, which didn't protest and instead decided to propose a very interesting offer
K: hey...you... Think maybe this time we...could?
J: Maybe...not now tho... I'm quite comfortable, I'd like to enjoy it a bit more
K: Fine...just don't go falling asleep, that'd be awkward
J: I won't
K: Good.
