"Can you read me a story daddy?" She asked softly, the little girl yawned and rubbed her porcelain doll cheeks. The man sat on her bed and turned to her, "alright. I have a good one."
Once upon a time there was a glistening golden realm, known as Heaven. It was beautiful. Perfect even. One of the angels was named Samael, he was the handsomest angel and everyone loved him, but then...he and the woman he loved made a horrible mistake...and instead of hearing them out, Heaven cast them into the pits they had accidentally created.
The little girl hid under blanket before looking to her father, they were a spitting image of each other. "Are you Samael daddy?" She asked simply. Her father chuckled, the King of Hell closed the book he had on his lap and sighed, "maybe at one point. I'm Lucifer now though" he stated simply, Lucifer stood up and tucked his daughter in. "Charlotte, Heaven is a paradise...dream well" Lucifer kissed his two fingers before applying it to his daughter's forehead, Charlotte giggled, "could I go to Heaven?" Lucifer stopped in her doorway, his hands gripping the doorframe. "Anything is possible Apple Pie" when her father left Charlotte got up from her bed and retrieved the book her father put on the shelf, Charlotte flipped through, sure she didn't understand a lot of the big words but she wanted to know more about Heaven...she flipped to a random page and read aloud, "the Archangle...Michael...was the twin of the Morning Star...this book is really confusing" Charlotte flipped looking for hopefully some pictures or a page with simpler words, then she saw it in the book. The art was simplistic, being in silhouettes, the beings were white with wings and halos, yet horns as well, circling a Pentagram with spears in hand, the text written in white messy ink told Charlotte all she needed to know..."All those who oppose Heaven must die"

The poor girl screamed in the dead of night, "Charlotte!" Her mother, Lilith called out. Lilith and Lucifer sprinted into their daughter's room and looked to see her in her bed covering herself in her blanket and shaking, "Charlotte...what's wrong sweetie?" Lucifer reached to her and he was met by Charlotte moving away from him and shouting a loud: "no!" Before shaking faster... "W-what are you?" She shuttered out. The question made Lucifer pause, "what do you mean Apple Seed?" He questioned, "I'm your father and the king" he explained. Charlie shook her head and 0grabbed hold of the book, Lilith let out a soft gasp and Lucifer's eyes widened, "Charlotte...those are Exterminators...they're Heaven's army...I think...look, I can't offer an answer to calm you but understand, as long as we exist...nothing may harm you" Lilith and Lucifer then left their daughter's room. Lilith leaned against the door, both their eyes glowed in the dark halls of their palace, "she knows..." she muttered. "I know..." Lucifer replied.
Many Years Later
Charlotte when she had hit her teen years had stopped using Charlotte and asked everyone to just simply refer to her as 'Charlie' her parents nor the nobility of Hell had seemed to mind or care for the change though, Charlie then hit adulthood and strangely moved out, though she did request an odd requirement, ownership of one of her parents old hotels. One day it had been the night of very special ball and like usual Charlie would make a guest appearance even if she didn't really like the whole idea of being a noblewoman and looking down upon the lower class, Charlie was wearing a red suit with white pants and white suspenders, and the brightest red lipstick she could find, like usual Charlie flocked to her usual friend group. Hellsa Von Eldritch, her ex boyfriend, Seviathan. The younger brother of Hellsa. "So how are things in Envy?" Charlie asked politely, "it's stupidly boring" Hellsa muttered, the tentacled haired woman went to her phone and began typing away, "so heard mommy and daddy gave you your own place to stay. Did you tell them why you wanted that hotel?" Seviathan questioned, the marquis looked to the King of Hell who was up on the mezzanine with his wife. "Oh they don't know, I was thinking of breaking the news soon though, when I find the right time of course" Charlie replied, Seviathan smirked, "and you're just scared to lose mommy and daddy's approval" he said. Charlie froze, why was he acting this way? Sure they broke up but this was petty, and rude, and then it happened, Seviathan shouted Lucifer's name, "King Magne!" Lucifer portaled down to the three and smiled, it wasn't the kind of smile Charlie was used to. "Have you ever wondered why your daughter chose that rinky-dink hotel as her new house?" Seviathan questioned, "Seviathan. No!" Charlie cried out. "Your daughter wants to get Sinners into Heaven!" Seviathan declared. The entire party froze, no one spoke and everyone looked to Charlie like she was an alien, Lucifer portaled back up to his mezzanine and then every noble turned to Charlie in disgust. "Sinners in Heaven? Preposterous!" "Doesn't she know how things work?" "She's pathetic!" Charlie looked to her father expecting him to back her up but no, both him and his advisor, Satan pointed to a mural on the wall. The same image as the one from book she saw as a child. Lilith and Lucifer avoided her and then her dad declared, "how about we take this party to Lu-Lu World huh!?" It got everyone's mind off Charlie, but the Princess felt pathetic and ran out of her parents home and to the streets of Hell. Charlie's makeup was ruined, her reputation was shattered, as she walked to her parents "Happy Hotel" she cried. It was unfair what Seviathan did and it was unfair Satan basically just told her dad to just outcast her! Then came a soft somber sound, the soft tears of sorrow from another woman. Charlie moved to the sound and found a woman with grayish purple skin, a missing eye covered by a eyepatch with a floating red 'x'. Her hair was long and silver. The woman carried and umbrella over her head and she blocked herself from Charlie, "d-don't look at me! I'm a freak..." Charlie smiled softly and lifted the umbrella, looking at the one eyed woman, "...I don't think you're a freak. Actually you're pretty cute!" The woman blushed at Charlie's compliment, "thanks...I'm...Ag—Vaggie. Call me Vaggie." She said Charlie smiled wider and lifted Vaggie to her feet, "I'm the Princess of Hell...but everyone hates me...I wanted to get Sinners into Heaven but everyone including my parents think my idea is stupid!" Vaggie wrapped her arms around Charlie's waist giving her a hug, "I think your idea is incredible...thanks for calling me pretty, again...no one really calls me that" Charlie smiled softly, "you need a place to stay. I own a hotel, you'll love it!" Vaggie gave Charlie a soft smile at her enthusiasm. Charlie was so full of life. Charlie seemed like she'd be her afterlife.
Montage
To Charlie's astonishment and shock, Vaggie was a quick learner on Hell lore, heck the moth demoness probably knew more than the princess by the end of the week. Vaggie then found herself becoming the girlfriend to the princess, the two walked hand in hand together, dancing in the middle of the streets together as one.
Charlie would later pitch the idea to the Exterminators and she was also shunned, no one believed but as usual Vaggie did. Vaggie had become her rock, her girlfriend, her sanctuary.
One day no matter what, she knew they'd get up there.
