Wifies stood Infront of the mirror suddenly he coughed up a flower petal....
-How did this happen.?- he murmured
-Who do I even love???

Then the realisation hit him. It was Parrot it was always him. He looked at the flower petal in his hand again.. it was a daisy petal. Suddenly a knocking sound began
-Yo Wifies are you in there???
Silence.
-Yeah Just give me 5 minutes
-Okay.
After saying that he quickly threw the petal into the trashcan. Then he coughed again. and this time there was blood and more petals. This time he hid them in his pockets he didn't want Parrot to find them and freak out. After doing that Wifies quickly washed his hands to wash away the blood but he didn't notice a small petal covered in blood that he left next to the sink.
He slowly opened the door there was a quiet creak. Parrot was waiting for him outside
-Hey. -Parrot quickly said . Too quickly like he knew something but didn't want to accept it.
-Wifies are you oka-
-Yeah.- he answered cutting him off.
-Whatever you say but just know that you can tell me everything.
Wifies knew that but it still made his heart melt a little.
-Yeah I know.
-Wifies quick question can you get groceries? I forgot to buy th-
-Yeah. Do you need anything specific?
-No.. Well maybe a sketchbook?
-Okay. I will be back in like 1 hours dude.

Parrot wanted to say something but Wifies was already gone.
-Bruh this dude.
Parrot went to the bathroom to check something. He wanted to be sure about something. The first thing that he saw was a small daisy petal laying there. Parrot was left dumfounded.
-I was right. My conclusions were correct. Oh god I wish that weren't correct. I don't want Wifies to die oh god oh my god.

-Wait if im right then who is he in love with-
Suddenly it all clicked Wifies was in love with him.It all made sense. The metalic scent mixed with a flower scent earlier in the morning? It all made sense it all made sense. Parrot decided to look it up on the internet to learn even more about it.
-Oh. He. Won't agree to the surgery.I already had mixed feelings about him but still.. I ..- after saying that a couple of tears fell on its own he didn't notice it at first until he was sobbing. He didn't want Wifies to die. He really didn't but he didn't know if he would be able to love Wifies not platonically but ... The thought alone made him want to throw up.

After calming down Parrot left the bathroom as it was before he entered it and went to the kitchen in their small apartment. He opened the refrigerator then he remembered that wife's went out to buy the groceries
-Great... I will just sleep then I guess bro
Parrot went back into the living room and layed on the couch and tried to fall asleep then suddenly he heard the door opening. It was then that he decided to pretend to be asleep to see what Wifies would do. Wifies slowly walked into the house then he stopped as he noticed Parrot "sleeping" on the couch. He came closer and watched Parrot sleep for a second then he grabbed Parrot's hand and-
-Hey.. Parrot I know that you're asleep but I just wanted to say that I lo-- --- you know?
Parrot wasn't very surprised but it was still a lot to take in that short amount of time.Then Wifies suddenly kissed Parrot's cheek. Parrot was stunned for a moment. He tried so hard not to react and surprisingly he succeeded.
-Maybe one day-
But Parrot wasn't listening anymore he fell asleep for real this time .
When he woke up it was 2:30pm. "Damn I overslept" he thought. Suddenly he realised something warm hugging him tightly. Parrot froze after a 5 second confusion he realised what it was. It was Wifies.
-What the-???
Parrot wanted to move from the couch but he didn't want Wifies to wake up so.. he decided to try to fall asleep but not everything is sunshines and lollipops. He closed his eyes. He tried to fall asleep but he just simply couldn't then something shifted behind him and pulled him closer it was Wifies. He couldn't believe what he was seeing he didn't know what to think before Parrot could overthink everything more Wifies woke up

Wifies slowly stood up and covered Parrot with a blanket and quickly left the room and Parrot could hear coughing.
-Shit. - Wifies said from the other room
-Its... Getting worse everyday.
Parrot froze even though he was trying to fall asleep. He just couldn't not after what his best friend (?) said. Parrot got up from the couch and decided to check up on Wifies. When he entered the room in which Wifies was in he suddenly froze in the doorway. There was a lot of petals. And by a lot I mean a lot.
-Wifies...?
Wifies froze upon seeing Parrot in the doorway.
-Parrot? What're you doing her-
He was quickly interrupted
- Wifies.
- What?
- You... You should get the surgery. I don't want you to die you know .

The silence stretched. It felt like an eternity before any of them said anything.
-No. - Wifies exclaimed
-Why?
- I... Don't know how to explain this.
-Okay but please just think about it or try to get the person that you like , like you back. I don't know man Good luck bro
Before Wifies could say anything Parrot left the room without letting him say anything.

He messed up Parrot now knows about all of this. Wifies laughed to him bitterly knowing very well that he won't get the surgery. Then he coughed. Even more petals. Oh. This world is so cruel isn't it.
It's been 2 weeks since that conversation. Parrot seemed more distant than before. Maybe. Maybe he thought that it'll help Wifies move on or something like that but it didn't. Of course it didn't why would it? And the coughing and the petals? They got worse with everyday passing by. But one day the unexpectedly stopped.
It was rainy Wednesday day Wifies have just woken up and he was surprised not to feel petals in his throat.
- What the heck happened.. I can't feel the petals anymore Am I over Parrot. No I'm not . Wait that could mean only one thing. Parrot likes me back.?.
-How is this even possible ?? .

I think that I like Wifies.

He'll find out when the flowers stop.
I don't know if that's good or bad.. well maybe both?? Wifies won't slowly die because of it.

Then the door suddenly opened. It was Wifies.
-Do you need anything bro?? Its 7 am Wifies.

- The petals stopped.

Oh he was absolutely done for.
-I dont what you mean by that -He exclaimed.

Suddenly Parrot found himself sobbing in Wifies' arms and Wifies comforting him.
-Hey.. Parrot it's okay no need to cry really.
in response Parrot started crying even more.
