Max was on his racing sim, streaming with the RedLine team like always. It’s been a while since the whole George and him being in a relationship. They revealed their relationship a year ago and it took seven months for things to calm down. It wasn’t all that surprising since they’re bad at hiding stuff like staring at each other from afar is not all that subtle.
Everyone thought that it will go back to normal with them but on a fine Sunday, where it was a non race week day, Max hoped on his racing sim and went on twitch with his friends for fun. It was chaotic with Max crashing out every time he accidentally brush past over a curb or just him crashing into the other car. It was quite loud and if George was there, he would’ve already stormed into the room and scold him for being way too loud. Thankfully he wasn’t, and the reasoning is because he was hanging out with Alex and Lando.
From racing they switched to playing FIFA and that’s where things started to escalate. Max was having the time of his life while playing FIFA and not to mention every time that he hits a goal, he’ll cheer like it’s the most wonderful thing he ever did. He didn’t realised that he was being way too loud and another mistake that he made was not locking the door or even closing the door properly.
Liam was in the other room, having his usual daily nap when he keeps on hearing his papa being loud and it disrupted his sleep. He was too tired to get up and tried to go back to sleep and he did, fortunately. It was a good twenty to thirty minutes nap when Liam suddenly woke up from his sleep in fear. He clutched his McQueen plush that his dada got him and he started crying for his dads. George wasn’t home and well, Max was wearing his headphone, he can’t hear Liam crying for him.
Liam got up with his McQueen plush still intact in his arms and went to find either one of his dads. First he went in George and Max’s room, searching every where, even their closet. Next, he went to kitchen where the cats were and he even tried asking them as if they understand. He searched almost everywhere to the point where he wants to give up but then he saw an opening, he remembered that this is the only room he haven’t went in yet.
When he slipped inside the room, he noticed Max playing something. Max was still distracted and was more on focusing on FIFA, he wanted to score another goal and didn’t realised that Liam was already in the frame. Of course, everyone noticed and the chat was exploding.

And he was right, Max’s focus was glued on to the game and he didn’t realised that his secret has been spoiled to the public. The only time he realised it is when Liam came up to him crying.
“Papa, I had a nightmare.” Liam cried into his arms and Max panicked. He quickly covered the cameras and mute his mic. He looked over to the screen and he realised that everyone saw Liam and everyone is freaking out about him.
Liam climbed onto Max’s arms and cried on his shoulder along with his McQueen plush hanging from his hand. Nonetheless, Max comforted him anyways, he gave up on hiding it and decided it was the best for them anyways. No more secrets and no more living in secrets.
“I had a dream where papa and dada left Liam alone..” He said while crying on Max’s shoulder, gripping on to him hard like he’s going to disappear soon.
“Really? Hm, it’s okay.. I’m here now. You know me and dada would never leave you alone, Liam.” Max comforted him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
He patted Liam to sleep and just like that, Liam was already snoozing on his shoulder. He reopened his camera back and unmute his mic before continuing back to his game, pretending like nothing had happen. Of course, the other members in the team couldn’t help but ask him.
“Who’s that you got there, Max?” Crane asked him. Max looked so normal about something that’s huge that just got leaked all over the internet.
“My son, Liam.” Max replied bluntly without hesitation. He kissed the top of Liam’s head and scored a goal. He tried to keep his excitement down and not shout to the whole world that he just scored a goal while having a toddler in his arms sleeping.

The whole twitch chat filled up with people crashing out about George and Max’s kid. Of course, the news spreads over to Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok and even on google. Everyone knew about it and everyone was trying to pry more but Max just ignores them.
The twitch ended after an hour of chaos, Max sighed and looked over to Liam who was still sleeping so peacefully in his arms, like he didn’t just cause a breakdown over the internet. George was still not home and he probably doesn’t even know it yet. He got up from his gaming chair and carried Liam over to the living room where he placed Liam down on the sofa while he went over to the kitchen to get a redbull to drink.
He opened his instagram and there it was, people already editing him with Liam, people talking about how unfair it is to have two F1 drivers as parents and blah blah blah, bunch bullshits. He looked over to the living room and saw that Liam is still sleeping which is good thing, he didn’t care if people knew about Liam anyways, it’s just that they hid him from people for privacy and for Liam’s protection.
The kid is growing each day and it’s not fair to keep him hidden for a very long time. There’s pros and cons about Liam getting revealed but either way, they have no more secrets to hide anymore.
The clock hits 6:29 and finally George came back home looking horrified. It looks like he already knew about Liam because of how many people are tagging him on social medias, asking him about Liam.
“Liam went public?” He asked Max who was leaning over the countertop, drinking his redbull like nothing had happened.
“Yeah, I was on twitch. He woke up from his nap, went into the room, didn’t realised it before he climbed into my arms.” Max explained so casually.
“Blimey..” George’s eyes were scanning the room and saw Liam still asleep on the sofa. He went over to him and carried him over to the kitchen where Max is.
“So, you’re okay with this..?” George asked him while bouncing Liam on his waist.
“I guess, I mean he’s three now, it’s not fair to keep him home and also I guess he can finally watch his dads race physically instead of having to watch them on TV.” Max cocked his eyebrow at George, hoping that he would agree with his suggestion.
Liam is three now and he’s been loving F1 the moment he came out the womb. He’s been supporting his dads by watching them from the TV and not coming to the actual race and whenever there’s a race somewhere that’s not in Europe, he’ll be at home with Max’s parents instead of being with them. Since the Monaco grand prix is coming, he wanted to bring Liam along.
George honestly thought it was a dangerous idea to bring a three year old over to a race but honestly, the whole grid knows about Liam and they’ve met him before, so what’s the problem. Hell, even the engineers might love him too.
Of course, every other driver on the grid knows about Liam and they love Liam to death. Liam had to spend his time with the other drivers before and he’s familiar with them. Honestly, there’s no reason why to keep him hidden anymore and just let the kid be free.
