Work Text:
Saburo walked into the liviny room of the house he lived in with too many people and just stared. He wasn't entirely sure what he was looking at and he was half tempted to just walk out. Arinori, who was by far the most normal person in the house, was standing on a chair looking terrified. Akiya, Saburo's classmate and the only one he could tolerate, was half hiding behind the couch. Kaizu, the youngest of the group at fourteen, and Adalynn, who'd probably killed at least five people, were standing off to the side watching their siblings. Kaizu's older sister Kaya had stabbed Adalynn's twin brother Rayko in the shoulder with her katana. Rayko had a gun pointed directly at her head.
The other occupants of the house, Aralyn and Saiichi, were nowhere in sight. Saburo was somewhat relieved that Saiichi wasn't present, because he would definitely join the fight. Saburo was terrified of him, especially because he was more likely than not involved with the mafia. The amount of times Saiichi was seen in dark alleyways wearing all black and talking to someone else in all black supported this theory. That, and his resemblance to the mafia's boss. Saburo, and almost everyone else except the twins and Kaya, found him terrifying.
Saburo sighed, wishing he was at his real home with his parents and sister. Instead, he had to live in a hluse with seven other teenagers and one adult. Some of those teenagers, like Kaya and Rayko, didn't get along very well. Although, at some point while Saburo was zoned out, the two had stopped fighting. Kaya sat beside Arinori, who still hadn't left the chair, and started to clean her katana. Rayko was being dragged out of the room by Adalynn, who was scolding him in a language Saburo didn't recognize. It was most likely German. The twins were originally from Germany after all. Saburo sighed again and walked over to Akiya as they left the shelter of the couch. The entire time hebwas wondering when he got so used to violence.
