"hey, jimin, look." she shoved the screen on jimin's face. "another haunted house."
it's been around three months ever since they quit their restricting, bothersome 9-5 in a modern, bright office and became paranomal investigators just for the sake of it, despite being the two of the most scared people alive. even if there were ghosts or otherworldly creatures in places they dived in, their screams probably scared the invisible creatures away.
but, that was a huge source of adrenaline, the thing they needed for their whole lives even though a possible cardiac arrest was sending shivers down their spines with sweet touches on their waists.
"oh my god. this one's huge. where is it?"
"all the way to north, in a vast forest."
"forest?" jimin almost flew up from the light gray couch. "are you kidding me? and it's vast, you say? no way. i'm not going there even if you put a gun to my head."
aeri reached for the right side sack on their couch and pulled an actual gun to jimin's right temple.
"don't worry. the safety lock is on."
"you're gonna make me shit myself."
"not on my couch, please." she put the gun back in the sack, laughing while jimin was madly pouting. "we're going there. i want to shit myself."
"you're crazy," jimin whispered with fury as aeri removed the screen and put the phone in her pocket, shrugging.
"let's get hunted and haunted. i'm so fucking scared, i love it."
the blonde pinched the nose of her bridge with a long, deep inhale. "look, aeri, i said okay to the abandoned amusement park the last time. nevermind that, i literally went to a basement with you without any equipment!" with all her anger, she brushed her hair and bangs back, hair ruffled and messy, bangs flying. "for god's sake, i am not walking through that forest. scarier than the mansion, i swear."
"but i'm here," she put her hand on jimin's which was resting between them. jimin first looked there, a tiny tint of pink reaching her ears, then she looked at aeri which caused the brunette to pull her hand away.
"yeah, that makes it like ten times scarier, thanks."
"come on, jimin," whined aeri and shook her shoulder, swinging the woman from side to side. "come on… please!"
the blonde sighed so loudly that it almost came out as a word. "if i piss myself, we're going back, okay?"
"yes! fuck yes!"
"but, when are we going?"
aeri's eyes shined mischeviously.
"now."
