“ I…won’t” Uzi begins, the drums playing softly in the back. V only making carful and calculated hits.
“ever..tell onnn you.”
“ ever see me dooo.” finally the drums get louder, N starts on his guitar and Cyn starts bass. Uzi’s voice gets louder and more rough sounding.
“ I wait forever for you!” Uzi tightens the grip on her microphone as She sings, tapping her foot more aggressively to the beat.
she and the rest continues their roles, Uzi getting slightly louder, and V hitting harder. It was their last song for the night, Uzi was excited to head back home. Shes sure Cyn is sleepily
Finally Uzi sings her last note, ending the song with a tired smile. She takes a Quick Look at N, giving him his que
He walked over towards her, he slips off his guitar, gently placing it on the ground.
He wraps and arm around her waist, while he looks at her, a confused look on his face. Of course it was all for the act he knew exactly what she was doing.
“ good night my little murderers~” she says, before pulling out a fake knife-not that the audience knew- and drew a drew a line across N’s neck, which some help to reach of course, with her heeled boots and him slightly lifting her up by her waist.
He let go and dropped to the floor, V got up from her place and grabbed his foot, dragging him backstage, Cyn took Uzi’s hand while the crowd yelled in excitement.
It was their signature move, that happened after every show.
Cyn and Uzi made their way back stage, the immediately heard V complaining.
“ ugh, gross. “ V says, tossing N’s foot roughly to the ground
“ heyyy! “ N whines, kicking his legs. Uzi and Cyn laughed at the duo, V looking mad, her arms crossed and her chest puffed, while N lay limp on the ground.
Uzi took it upon her to walked over and kick his side. “ get up dumbass, and V be nice. “
“ no. “ V says turning away more.
N made his way up a smile forming on his face. “ you did AWSOME Z’! “ he praises, the girl blushes slightly, luckily for her the others didn’t notice
“ sure. Whatever, don’t be gross.” She rolls her eyes in a slight annoyance.
“ yes Uzi. Amazing!” Cyn says, with as much enthusiasm as the girl could muster. She removed the mask on her face, revealing a small smile. She wore the mask so no one saw her identity. And since she was still in school no one would notice or say anything.
She only had little ways to go before graduating and Tessa promised to take her and the rest on a little getaway trip. Of course they’ll still perform but only if they find somewhere to.
“ HEYYY PRETTTIEEESS!” Lizzy yells, a drink in her hand and Thad trailing behind her, attempting to take the drink from her hand.
“ Liz’! Slow down! Whoa!” Thad yells when the drink almost spills, still trying to get ahold of Lizzy.
Lizzy puts the drink on the small little coffee table and wraps her arms around V. “ Hiii Ve-Ve~” Lizzy purrs into the ear of the taller woman. Said taller woman blushes a bright red. The shorter girls hot breath against her neck and the smell of alcohol taking over the smoke smell.
“ h-hey Liz…” V stutters out, her face turning red. Lizzy Whispers something in V’s ear, this time no one was able to hear but it clearly flustered V considering she looked like a tomato.
“ oh-oh okay Liz’. Z’ I’m going to stay at Lizzy’s tonight….” Lizzy, now looking more sober dragged V to her car.
“ wait liz-! Oh never mind. “ Thad begins but decides mid sentence it was no use. There goes his ride home.
“ yo Thaddy, wanna ride home? I’m taking N. “ Uzi pipes up, giving a playful shake to his shoulders.
“ could you Z’? “ he asked, clearly tired of dealing with his evil twin sister.
“ anything for my best friend!” She smirks slyly. “ Bye Cyn! J, Tessa.” She waves bye to the trio as they walk out, Cyn holing onto J for support. “ come N, we gotta head home.”
N, Thad and Uzi all walked out. N taking her hand while Thad shoved his hands in his pocket.
“ so Thad, how’s the search going?” N ask, looking at him with a smile. Thad only shrugs and kicks one of the pebbles on the ground.
“ aw come on, not one piqued your interest? “ Uzi adds to N’s statement.
“ nah, living in this small town with horrible everything, its unsurprising that I can’t find anyone.” He says sadly. As of recent Thad's been..down? Sad. He talks to Uzi about feeling lonely and almost depressed like. She can understand that, with where they live. Always cold, raining or snowing, or foggy, the buildings look trashy, smokers all around. Just wasn’t something Thad wanted to be around anymore. But how could he move? Not with his mother here. Or his sister or his father. His friends. Uzi says things got better after she met N.
So N and Uzi tried to find a partner for N. Let them tell you it was not easy and even now they can’t!
“ maybe you don’t need a partner! “ N says, causing Uzi to jab him in the side. He smile bashfully at her, opening the car door for her in return.
“ maybeeee…you need to get out! Go to the big, fancy part of the city! Take a trip for like a week or something. We all know you have the days off for like a 3 week trip.” Uzi says as Thad reaches for his seatbelt in the back.
“ I dunno dudes. What will everyone else think?” Thad worries. N turns on the car before smiling sweetly at him.
“ they’ll think it’s well deserved from how hard you work.” N says , in hopes it makes him feel better.
“ I’ll talk with Lizzy about it. “ Uzi nods while N drives out from the parking, already making way to Thad’s apartment.
“Enough about my failing love life, how are you love birds doing?” Thad’s says smugly, moving his eyes brows uo and down with a smirk. Uzi groans, shoving her face in her hands.
“ oh we’re great! Me and Uzi got matching Pyjamas!”
“ Gross! Don’t tell him that! “ she yells hitting his thigh. Thad laughed at her and so did N. “ ugh! You guys are so annoying! “ she crosses her arms and turns away from them, staring into her window.
“ awww Z’! We’re just joking with ya.” Thad says letting out a muffled laugh.
“ yea bat!, we just love you!” Uzi blushed harder at N when he called her bat…and my cause he said he loved her.
“ hey! Don't call me that out on public!”
“He calls you ‘bat’ ? THATS SO CUTE GUYSS!” Thad gushes causing Uzi to groan once more.
“ I regret telling you.” She mumbles to herself. Thad only laughs at her.
Thad and N continue to talk while Uzi begins to fall asleep. Tired from performing. Until finally they make it to Thad’s apartment. His apartment was only 10 minutes from N, Uzi, and V’s building so it was no big deal.
“ bye Thad. “ N says quietly as to not wake up his girlfriend.
“ bye man. See you tomorrow.” Thad waves bye before entering the grey ,dirty, concrete building.
N turns and continues his way home. Or at least he try’s to until Uzi puts a hand on his. “ no, go this way. “ she directs him till finally they get to an empty field, he's told to drive into the grass and park.
“ why did we stop here Uzi? “ he asks the once very tired girl.
“ listen N, I’m like..I like really really need you tonight Okay. “ she admits with a straight face. Only a small blush prompted on her face. On the other hand N turns a bright red.
“ and I don’t wanna go home now anyway. So please. Hop to the back. Now.” N does as he's told, quickly unbuckling and jumping to the back. Uzi in follow.
N and Uzi spend the rest of their night, in the car.only waking up at around 7 when the sun started to rise. Prompting them to drive back home.
N made his way to his apartment which was only one floor down from Uzi and V’s and he started to get ready for the day.
Uzi, stripped to only her underwear and a big shirt and hopped right back into bed. Only really falling asleep when she heard V was home.
Two hours later, around 9:30 Uzi gets up. Walking out side of her room and smelling eggs. V had started breakfast and she seemed to already be dressed.
“ morning purple. We have to go to J’s by 3 today. “ she says not looking at the girl but feeling her presence enter.
“ k’” Uzi yawns and stretches. Then she got an idea. Nothing wrong with a little morning tease no? “ so, have fun with Lizzy last night?” This caused V to freeze
“ fine. “
“ yea, did you have fun with your girlfriennddd~?” V turns a bright red, refusing to look at Uzi.
“ Shes not my girlfriend. We’re just friends.”
“ uh yea with benefits. “ Uzi says smugly.
“ how about you put some clothes on. “
“ uuuh…no.” Uzi pretend to think, putting a hand to her chin in fake.
“ ugh, fine. What are you gonna wear today?” V ask, putting her and Uzi’s plate on the small island, both of them taking a seat across from each other.
“ I don’t know, was gonna ask you.” Uzi says with her mouth full.
“ uhh…finish that and we’ll see what you have and then I’ll wear something that sorta match’s with that. Are you wearing that bow Cyn made you?” Uzi nods, chewing her food and swallowing it fast. They both eat and talk to each other at the same time. Uzi still teasing V about Lizzy and V blushing with an angry expression. Finally they finished and head to Uzi’s room. V goes through her closet immediately while Uzi takes a seat on her floor, a fuzzy purple carpet underneath her.
“ how about this?” V pulls out a hanger with a dress hanging on it. Uzi shakes her head No. v goes back in pulling out another, again Uzi says no. So she tries again. No use. “ THESE ARE YOUR CLOTHES! PICK SOMETHING!”v yells already frustrated, Uzi only snickers in amusement
But of course she felt bad and pointed at something peaking out from under a bunch of shoes. “ uhh..what’s that?” V pulls out the outfit from underneath all the shoes a couple of them falling out.
It was a long black shirt and Jean shorts tucked in the inside of the hanger. “ yea, I’ll wear that.” Uzi snatches the outfit from V and rushes her out. “ go find something niceeee!” Uzi yells before slamming her door shut to change. At least until she realises she should provide shower…she was definitely gross at the moment.
She trudges over towards the bathroom, taking a quick 20 minute shower before changing and meeting V.
“ alright, let’s go. I texted N so he should be meeting us by your car.” Uzi nods, making sure she cleaned the car in her mind. Thinking back to the past events…maybe a little too far. Uzi turned a red and V took notice. “ what’s your issue?” V points out.
Uzi shakes her head and quickly tells her that they have to go. Completely avoiding the question. By grabbing V’s hand and rushing down the metal stairs to make it of their parking lot. And there stood N, looking down at his feet.
“ hey N!” Uzi calls out, walking faster toward him. His face immediately lights up upon seeing her and V.
“ HEYYY GUYSSS!” He waves, his arm shoot up excitedly. V slams his hand back down to his side and shoved him in the car, Uzi already heading to the passenger seat.
“ come on guys. Let’s get some coffee and find something to do before heading to J’s” v says starting the car.
After 3 hours of getting coffee and strolling around in their local mall. Only V coming out with bags. They make it to J’s. Everyone takes seat on her large couch. Tessa was gone on a work trip so only V, J, N, Cyn, and Uzi were there.
“ alright morons-not you Cynthia- we have been invited to attend a convention in the big city! Next week, which works in our favour cause Cyn has a 4 day weekend. So everyone needs to pack. I’ll send everyone the information.” She takes a breath in before speaking again. “ I want everyone on their best behaviour. We’ll have a strict schedule unless I say otherwise. Understood?” V and Uzi groan in annoyance.
“ J! We get to go out in the big city for longer than a day could you please let us have some fun.” V says, leaning against Uzi.
“ yea, pleaseeeee Jay-jay?” Uzi pleads, batting long eyelashes at her.
J’s face becomes a scowl. “ call me that again and you won’t get to beg. “ she warns but V and Uzi continue until J gives in when they get Cyn to join, even though she definitely won’t be joining their city activities.
“ I’m feeding JC. Don’t make a mess in my house. Leave by 11.” J walks upstairs to her room, ignoring the sudden grow in noise. Uzi getting comfortable by placing her legs on V’s lap and leaning against N.
20 minutes later Lizzy and Thad come over. With Lizzy knocking loudly on the door.
“ OPEEENNN UP LOSERSSS! ITS FREEZING OUT HERE!” V shoves Uzi off of her causing Uzi to fall to the ground, and N and rush to her aid.
V opens the door and immediately pulls in Lizzy. Lizzy begins to teases the poor girl. Thad walks in and turns on the game console. Uzi is busy yelling at N about ‘ not needing help’ but in all reality she’d do anything to hold his hand without repercussions, even for a little bit.
After Lizzy is done with V she walks up straight to Uzi, who noticed the bottle of Vodka in her bag. “ that mine?” Uzi ask with a smirk.
“ of course babes. Bought it just for you!” Lizzy replies back, booping Uzi’s nose. Cyn had made her way upstairs, knowing it was gonna be loud but also cause she wasn’t too fond of Lizzy.
“ YES! “ Uzi yells going straight for the bottle, only to let out a pathetic wine when it’s moved from her.
“ ah ah ah! N! Get me two sprites! And a grape soda! “ she yells at him. N rushes to the kitchen, getting their drinks before sitting back down to play with Thad.
Uzi takes notice of V stairs starry eyed at Lizzy as she makes the drinks. Uzi snickers but says nothing.
After a couple of hour, Uzi sits on top of the stairs, looking at a knocked out Thad and N on the carpet and a knocked out Lizzy. Asleep. On V’s lap.
She won’t like when she says she slightly jealous of them.
Why couldn’t she do that with N?…she asks her self that knowing damn well why. Knowing why it’s a secret in the first place. Her promise. The one she swore to keep yet broke. What would she tell V?… god who knows.
Uzi pushed the thoughts from her mind and snapped a picture of them, sending it to V with the caption.
Uzi: some friends huh? 😏
She watches as V carefully takes out her phone. Then angrily types back an answer.
V: fuck u. She was tired.
Uzi: and she just so happened to fall asleep on ur lap?
V: die.
Uzi snickered at the text, but didn’t answer back. They’d have to leave soon. Uzi did NOT wanna drive. Maybe N could? He’d need to wake up anyway. Yea. But she’ll wake him up later.
Later turns into 5 hours. Everyone had fallen asleep and in the Mekong was forced out the house by J. Who had woken up angry.
But Uzi wont lie when she says she happy to be in her bed and not on carpeted stairs.
