The Geass Hero

Summary:

Ok, so, this is basically what if Code Geass happened before quirks emerged and then whatever hundred years later, Lelouch, or, well, L.L.; and C.C. happened to run into middle school Izuku, in a little more of an unfortunate circumstance than in canon...

MHA Timeline: Episode/Chapter 1
Code Geass Timeline: Retelling Movies (No change to R1 and R2, besides Shirley surviving and being slightly involved in Re;) + Akito -> Re;surrection -> Like 200something+ years into the future, to stand during MHA. No Rozé though.

Chapter 1: The Power of the King

Notes:

Across this story, I'm most probably going to be using a lot of the lines from the series. In both cases, of CG and MHA, I'm just going to switch around between Sub, Dub, Manga and my own rephrasing; whichever version I like better for the scene.

What else do I wish to say?
This is probably (not sure yet) the first work I'm going to throw out into the public. Not the first I've written, I have like a solid 50 Unrevealed drafts on my account, but this is the first to go public...

So.
Don't exactly expect updates at any consistent times. I have got quite a bunch of free time, but I also happen to be the, by FAR, laziest individual I personally know, so... Yeah.
I might throw out 5 chapters a day, or come back after a month. Just please, don't set your expectations for frequency.
As to quality... You can freely criticize, I don't really care much ngl (as long as it's not plain hate without any actual arguments or criticism). I'm just writing for fun and to fulfill ideas I get without having to rely on another person writing it. If I improve over time, then... Great. But I have no goals with any of this, I'm not aiming for anything. Well, I will set myself one goal and that is to increase the overall chapter length and make it more descriptive in general. And yes, this chapter is intended to cut off like this. I've written this whole thing spontaneously before I forgot what I came up with and I simply haven't gone much farther. Nearly not enough to write more at least and I have no more time to write at the moment, so... Yeah.
When the story expands, I will probably go back to fuse chapters into bigger ones, as well as fix all random mistakes to improve the quality, because let's be real, I'm not gonna catch all of them during the first time reading/writing this and I want to, to some degree, enjoy this story myself, instead of instantly being completely drained due to having to go through each little word and checking if it's written properly.

I'm bracing myself for the AO3 Author Curse to manifest 4 months from now... But hey, this is a distant future, that is merely going to be about as severe as spacetime collapsing inside of my lung or something, you know :3

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

'...And take a swan dive off the roof of a building'

The words were still ringing in Midoriya Izuku's mind, as he stared down onto the street below, having crossed the railing upon the edge of an insignificant roof.

But... What else could he do? Sit there for all eternity, enduring all the bullying and teasing from everyone around, just to get killed in a villain attack crossfire? Wait out to become a policeman at best, in order to die on duty as soon as he encounters a single bulletproof villain?

No.

He was useless.

That was the truth.

He couldn't do anything about it.

This just was how things went.

This was his fate.

This was his destiny.

This was his purpose.

To die for the mere reason of being born different from 80% of the population.

He took a deep breath and lifted his leg to step into the air in front of him and-

"You don't want it to end here, do you?"

Izuku froze, hearing the masculine voice ring out behind him. He slowly turned around, to see two people, looking teenage.

A boy and a girl.

The boy was a tall, scrawny yet handsome man, seemingly of Britannian descent, with medium length black hair and violet eyes. He wore simple, yet dignified clothing. Upon his chest, just below the neck, rested a red symbol which Izuku did not recognize.

Next to him, stood the girl, quite shorter, with long light-green hair. Izuku assumed she was European. Her clothes, an eye pleasing combination of various cloths. Beneath her hair, on the forehead, Izuku could make out the same red symbol present on the boy.

"Why did you try to jump?", the boy inquired.

"I- Um- I... I'm... I'm quirkless... And- And, I've been told to... To jump... So that I may be born with a quirk in my next life..."

"That's a stupid idea." The greenette bluntly said with no care for tact, which only served to make the boy next to her grimace in exasperation.

"What she meant to say is, you appear to have a reason for living."

"I- Uh... Yeah, I do. I want to be the number one hero, but... I can't... I'm useless. I'm just going to die if I try and that would be about all my accomplishments in life... So, might as well restart..."

"If I grant you power, could you go on?" The green haired girl said, her eyes boring into him.

"H- Huh?! Grant me... Power?? How? Is that even possible? Is that your quirk? Is-"

"We are proposing a deal. In exchange for this power, you must agree to make your one wish come true and aid us when we ask it of you." The boy said, before the girl picked up where he left off,

"Accept this contract and you accept its conditions, while living in the world of humans, you will live unlike any other." after she finished, the boy spoke up again, entering a cycle of them switching back and forth,

"A different providence..."

"A different time..."

"A different life..."

"The Power of the King will condemn you to a life of solitude." the boy stated, before they finished in unison,

"Are you prepared for this?"

"..."

"..."

"What is this 'Power of the King'..? What does it do?"

"We don't know." The boy stated with no hesitation.

"It's up to you." The girl said with a blank expression, yet weirdly giving off a smug aura at the frustration she causes to everyone around her.

"It's different with each person, according to their wishes,"

"Their personality,"

"Their conviction."

"So... If you grant me that power... It will specifically aid me in achieving my goal..?"

"Yes." They answered in sync.

"...Alright."

With this, Izuku carried himself over the railing, back onto the stable roof, as the pair approached him.

When Izuku opened his eyes again, he felt...

"I feel no different."

"You don't need to. The Power of the King is now yours."

"Huh. So, like... What now?"

"You go on your way, we go do our things. We'll meet again soon enough. Until then, go through with your life and try to get a grasp on what your newfound power can do."

"Wait, before you go, what are your names?"

"...Call me L.L."

"Then I'm C.C."

And with that, the pair departed, leaving Izuku to himself. The boy thought about the entire situation for a moment, before remembering he still has to get home, before rushing off in order to catch up for the time he lost on the roof. As he's running, he remembers of the shortcut, which he promptly picks, but then...

A huge mass of sludge raises from the sewers behind him, forming into a villain.

"You'll make a perfect skinsuit for me to hide in, kid!"

'Oh no! What do I do!?! I can't face a villain like this! WHAT DO I DO!?'

And then, before either Izuku or the villain in front of him could do anything, in an instant...

The bird set off, and flew forward, crashing into the mass of sludge in front of Izuku Midoriya...

And so, it was as if time froze. Izuku's thoughts accelerated a multi-millionfold, before an emotionless, robot-like voice rang in his mind.

Name: Iori Yosai

Title(s): Sludge Villain | Villain | Criminal

Description: Individual [IORI YOSAI]'s entire body is made up of his [MALE] Quirk - A green sludge mass. His eyes are red. He is 33 years old, turning 34 in 153 days, 11 hours, 43 minutes and 20 seconds.

Quirk Analysis: Individual [IORI YOSAI]'s Quirk transforms his body into a bulk of a mud-like substance. This fluid form makes him immune to physical attacks. It comes with the effect of greatly enhancing his strength, far beyond the capacity of a regular human. It also gives him the ability to take over another person's body and use their Quirk against their will. He can also use his quirk in extended reach for many purposes, such as propelling himself forward at high speeds. His Quirk has a weakness to acid and wind pressure, which break up his mud-like substance, causing him to fall apart.

Miscellaneous Information: [N/A]

'Woah! That is a lot of information! This is really useful! But... I cannot use any of this intel for myself... I'm not strong enough to blast him into pieces...'

<<Cue: Flee.>>

'Yes, very helpful, thank you very much! Might as well try and do it then...'

And so, Izuku's thoughts returned to regular speed, as the villain launched towards him. But, as Iori Yosai was centimeters away from the turning away Izuku...

"Have no fear. You are safe. Because... I AM HERE!"

All Might, the number one hero immediately launched towards the villain with a Texas Smash, the fist slamming into the muddy mass, splashing it all over the walls, as Izuku falls over from the wind pressure.

But, he is caught, by none other, than his idol.

Notes:

So, to clear up some things.

At the beginning of each chapter, I'm going to include the currently known ability of Izuku's Geass (from his own perspective). That said, so far he knows little, though it's pretty clear where it's heading. I am however, going to clear up a couple of things:
1. Iori Yosai. A completely random name taken from a random name generator. There's no hidden Jap. wordplay meaning, there is no canon; just a random name. Next.
2. "accelerated a multi-millionfold" What exactly does "multi-millionfold" refer to, here? Let's go ahead and say, for now, early in the story, it's going to be 3 Million. This means that within one second of thinking on the outside, Izuku can do a worth of 3 Million seconds of analysis. 3 Million seconds more or less equates to:
- 50 Thousand minutes
- Approx. 833 hours
- Approx. 35 days.
That is just over a month of thought, contained within one second. Now, let's say, the entire analysis in this chapter took Izuku like, 10 seconds to complete analysis and a minute for himself to actually read it, totaling at 70 seconds. With the x3'000'000 thought acceleration, this comes out to about 0.00002 seconds on the outside (0.02 miliseconds, or 20 microseconds).
