It was a cursed item in a cave.
It was always some cursed item wasn’t it?
Lucy packaged it away in her purse wrapped in cloth, as keeping the artifact to figure out how to reverse the curse would be easiest.
Happy was busy snickering at the two.
Erza looked overjoyed.
“I always wanted more girl friends” she said with starry eyes.
“We could all have sleep overs together, imagine if you were always this way”
Natsu and Gray both stared in disinterest.
“Gray!” Lucy suddenly shrieked as they made their way out of the cave.
“Your clothes!”
Sure enough he was stripped to his boxers… only now he had his chest on display.
“Pftttyt!!! Hahahah” Natsu instantly started laughing.
“You laugh like a girl!” Happy screeched in hilarity.
Sure enough, Natsu and Gray after touching the mysterious artifact had both turned into women.
Gray who was usually taller than Erza, was now the scarlet haired woman’s exact height.
Natsu who was typically around the same height as Lucy, maybe an inch taller, was now several inches shorter.
If he was short when he was a man… he was really short as a woman.
“Maybe you both should have girly sleep overs” Happy snickered as he floated past them.
Natsu seemed to be looking down trying to look at himself as they walked.
“I kind of feel the same” he shrugged.
“Well you’re not exactly sporting a pair of these now are you” Gray gestured to his chest that was partially covered now that he put back on a buttoned shirt.
“I sure am, look at these things” Natsu pointed to his, they were in fact a bit small and an outlier to this specific group that were more like outliers in another way. But they were average sized lumps of skin he now sported on his chest.
Gray looked over.
“Guess they’re alright”
Lucy looked behind herself and just saw both Natsu and Gray looking at eachother… almost admiring- no they were admiring eachothers breasts and she sighed.
Natsu looked at the way Gray walked, confident, the baggy black boxers on his long legs. Legs that looked especially really good right now.
The half buttoned white shirt, necklace sparkling. The glossy black straight hair that spread out down his back.
He looked.. good. In this tomboy, casual girlish way, that did little to hide the easy beauty.
Gray looked down at Natsu who looked like an adorable girl that could still probably kick your ass. Choppy pink hair that was long to her shoulders but spiky as usual in a careful way. The scarf that curved slightly as it ran off her neck revealing the curve in his chest. The baggy pants almost looking like pajama pants. The causal walk.
He looked like a cute tomboy that looked effortlessly cute. He was very pretty.
“Yknow..” Gray started, then stopped not sure where he was going.
“Yknow Gray I think I like you better like this” Natsu practically finished his thoughts but the other way around.
Gray blanked but then glanced at the cute girl beside him that was Natsu.
“You’re not so bad yourself.. “
Natsu watched Grays gaze on him.
“Oh my god…” Lucy sighed dramatically, she couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
The two men turned into women shared a look then looked at Lucy.
Both grinning.
They both seemed to reach the same conclusion whatever that may be.
“Are you jealous, Lucy?” Natsu snickered to himself.
Gray grinned.
“I think she is, we have superior sex appeal as women”
“What!” Lucy gasped in outrage.
Happy began to laugh, in their air fluttering beside them.

It was later that night when they were camped out in their tents, despite Gray and Natsu’s new parts, the girls still didn’t want to share a tent with them.
Erza didn’t even want one of those sleepovers she mentioned.
They laid there together and both seemed to turn to eachother at once.
It was no secret how each was glancing at eachother not only earlier that day, but as they changed their clothes to something more comfortable to sleep in.
In Grays case a pair of boxers and a t shirt, that he was itching to take off.
In Natsu’s case a tang top and his long pants.
“It wouldn’t be weird” one of them said.
“Yeah of course not.. it’s just… making the most of it”
They leaned closer.
Gray watching Natsu’s soft feminine features, the long eyelashes, and poutier lips.
Natsu watched grays long hair that curled around his collarbones the softer jaw and shoulders.
Who made the first move they couldn’t completely tell, it could’ve been both at once but suddenly they were kissing.
Natsu’s hand brushed against Grays new hips, in a moment Gray was no longer wearing a shirt. The pale boobs on full display. The pressure of it against Natsu’s own feeling nice.
They both kissed and licked and bite, and made it a mission to elect soft moans.
Both appreciating the female Lilt.
Their new parts getting increasingly wetter, to their own intrigue not used to the feeling.
There was a heat within them that was familar but different in these new bodies.
Gray drew his hands down Natsu’s pants.
Oddly enough the lack of their other parts made it feel like a weird phantom loss limb that they could feel but couldn’t at the same time along with these new parts.

Gray drew his fingers under Natsu’s wet boxers, and began sliding his fingers in.
For the first time being fingered Natsu lifted his head from his work on Grays collarbone.
“Wow..” he gasped voice breathy.

“You’ll have to return the favor ashhead”
“I plan too” Natsu rubbed his fingers over Grays nipples.
Suddenly the tent opened and Lucy gaped at them shocked.
The two paused and glared at her like it was a minor inconvenience.
“I- I- just wanted to ask for Natsu to fix the fire he set- what the hell!!” She shouted the last part.
“Lucy I’m kind of busy” Natsu told her lifting his head from Grays neck.
“Yeah can’t you see we’re in the middle of something?” Gray he flexed his fingers which Natsu noticed tensing and turning to glare at him, as a squeak almost escaped him.
“I’m just- I’m- just going to go- you two are” she shook her head her face was burning.
“Yep” she left the tent.

The next day when they explored the town Natsu and Gray seemed more than comfortable in the female forms, though a little put off by the different attention they received, even Gray began to put more care with keeping his clothes on, but still exceedingly comfortable. One of the shops they went in together for lunch that day they seemed to work together to get out of the bill.
Using their looks against the waiter.
Lucy would randomly start turning red if she looked at them two for too long, muttering under her breath,
“I can’t believe-“
Erza would give a questioning glance.
It wasn’t long before a local witch doctor they stopped at gave them something that held the cure some dark purple potion, a dose for each. That way they’d be back in form by the time they had their meeting with their client about how the job went.
“Alright, boys, I hope you perhaps better understand women after this- perhaps it can be a lesson” Erza went on as she passed them the potion collected.
“Oh believe me we learned lots” Gray grinned,
Lucy squeaked, face red.
Erza sent a confused glance.
“Yeah I guess it was pretty educational” Natsu hummed thoughtfully.
They both grabbed the potion and spared one last glance at eachother before they gulped it down.
Both looking down in curiosity as their body changed back to normal before them.

Later that night, Lucy pet Happy who was sleeping on her pillow as she tried to go to bed, she believed sleeping on the side of the tent closer to the fire would be fine now that Natsu and Gray.. were no longer…
Last night the fire began wavering and heating up and down in an obnoxious rhythm. Lucy would get too warm then too cold. Finally she went to ask Natsu why he was messing with the fire, she went outside her tent ready to ask. The fire really was a crazy mess, it was all over the place.
What she found in the boys.. (new girls?) tent was not what she expected.
She wondered if Natsu even knew that as he was participating.. in such activities his fire (that was supposed to keep them warm for the night!) was burning and flickering with his emotions.
Tonight she set her head on her pillow hoping for a good sleep.
To her surprise the fire started to go out of control once again.
The other night was a fluke, they were both in the bodies of women and in some weird manly decision decided to use eachother as a way for.. relief. That’s at least what she thought.
So why, she walked out in her pajamas, was the fire still going mad.
She glanced at the boys tents.
They weren’t fighting now were they?
What children, maybe they were mad at eachother now that they caved to their desire the other night since they found the other attractive as a girl.
She sighed.
She’ll tell them to knock it off, stop their fighting and hopefully the fire would be all in order.
She pushed open the fold of the tent and gasped.
Natsu and Gray once again were making out, hands and limbs and legs entangled.
This time as men.
She abruptly let go of the tent and walked away as her face burned. Thinking not for the first time, what exactly type of relationship did those two have??
