Lucy was organizing things upstairs in her new home, it had been about a month since the last adventure, where they had ended a war through Batman getting married, and fought Emmet's future self.
"Hey Lucy! We're gonna be late!"
"I'll be right down!" She looked around and picked up a record on the shelf and started making her way down stairs to Emmet, when she got down there she saw him in the process of building a car.
She took one step towards him before she couldn't feel the floor, she then started falling, she looked around the bright glowing blue vortex surrounding her as she fell through it.

Gandalf wondered through a forest, taking in the sights, it was a calming day, till he looked up and saw a familiar portal open in the sky above him.
"What in the name of-" Lucy fell from the portal onto the ground with a thud, "...Wyldstyle?" Lucy got up and looked around.
"Where... Emmet! What happened where-" she looked at Gandalf who was confused, "Gandalf?"
"Yes, why it is quite nice to see you again as well Wyldstyle." He helped her up, "though I do question why are you here?"
"I- I don't know, I was in my house and then I started falling and then I was here." Gandalf started rubbing his beard as he pondered, before they both fell through another portal.

Batman was busy on finishing up work from the day, for his day job, while everyone else was busy keeping the city safe, Tim, Dick, Jason, Duke, Damian, Cass, Barbra, and Steph we're all out there fighting crime.
Meanwhile Bruce was in the bat cave looking through documents, and also keeping track of his kids, though something felt off, there was something coming.
A portal opens in the ceiling of the bat cave, Batman puts his cowl on and gets ready for whatever was coming out of it, Wyldstyle and Gandalf fall out of it.
"Wyldstyle? Gandalf?"
Gandalf get up and helps Wyldstyle up, "Hello Batman, seems we've been brought together, for one reason."
"It seems so, but why?"
"I think we're about to get an answer." Lucy watched as a portal opened up and it started sucking them up into it.

They get sent through the blue vortex and into the Shard, the place where they first started their dimension hoping journey.
"Where's X-PO?"
"Oh that makes me feel loved, thank you." Everyone turns around the see X-PO floating towards them, "I would assume you guys were just visiting, but the keystones had just been sucked into a portal, so I'm assuming your friends got taken again?"
Everyone looks at each other, "We were just brought here, I thought you brought us here." X-PO was silent for a bit, thinking.
"There might be a problem, I'll check out the gate way, and see where the keystones were sent, maybe you guys can look from them."
X-PO started to analyze the gate way, as a portal opens in it, "I'd say that's our que." The three of them jump into it, and they get sent through the vortex and end up in a city, where criminals were running around.

Rex woke up somewhere, he didn't know where, "Ah, bad guy I'm assuming?" He turned to see who was talking to him, and saw a man made out of the stars themselves in a hold helmet looking at him.
"Who the heck are you?"
"I am Lord Vortech, and you, are going to help mez weather you like it or not."
More people started falling onto the sane platform as Rex, Lex Luthor, two weird guys in cloaks, and a a hologram pad that lit up to show an evil wizard.
"All of you will be."
