stuck in my teeth

Summary:

something about your boyfriend was.. wrong. all the symptoms pointed to ‘vampire,’ but those aren’t real!

………right?

Work Text:

the days were long, but the nights were always longer.

something about your boyfriend being gone all day made you itchy, nervous about being the other man. but the way he fucked you made you forget all your worries. he really did care- cleaned you up after the fact, listened to all your boundaries, stopped immediately if you even hinted at being uncomfortable.

but there was something that had been bugging you for quite a bit, itching at the back of your mind like a wound you couldn't scratch.

the way leon always stumbled when he reached your throat, eyes dilating with some kind of hunger. his hands twitch like he wants to reach out and drink you up.

you often shoved it to the back of your mind. vampires weren't real, and there was no way your boyfriend could possibly be one. even if he did get really crazy during your cycle.

shoving it to the back of your mind as the door opens, a smile on your face as leon enters.

something is.. wrong, for lack of a better term. his eyes are dilated until you can barely see his irises, his breath coming in heavy pants.

“leon?" you question, yelping in surprise as hid eyes land on you too quickly. he stumbles toward you, almost drunk in his movements.

he throws his body over yours, trapping you against the wall. whimpering in fear as he pushes his face into the crook of your neck, taking a long, deep whiff of your scent.

"need you, fuck, i'm so hungry.." his voice is slurred, another jolt of fear bolting through your system as he drags his tongue up your throat. "just one taste, okay?" the way he says it makes it sound more like a reassurance to himself.

"leon, what-!" a gasp of pain cuts off your question, two sharp needle-like teeth digging into your throat. you feel your blood pumping in your throat, heart beating as every pulse sends more and more into his teeth.

‘just kill me,’ you think, embarrassed, 'of course he would be a vampire. just my luck. you saw the signs and dismissed them, obviously! cuz vampires aren't supposed to be real!”

but here you are, trying to hide a moan as leon's teeth sink deep into your neck, the scruff of his stubble tickling your already sensitive skin. as leon pulls away, pupils now fully enlarged and going in and out of focus, he licks a stripe up your neck, trying to stop the bleeding.

"leon-" you protest, somehow more bothered by his repeated licking on your tender throat. "stop that i'll just wrap it!"

he pulls away fully, blood staining his face and dripping down his chin in a way that makes heat spike in your core. even if he was a vampire, leon still found a way to make everything he does hot.

leon's face falls into a pout, protesting his cutoff. you inhale deeply through your nose, trying to get a handle on whatever the fuck just happened. "you're a vampire." you state, watching leon look away guiltily.

"yes," he responds, reluctant. "i didn't tell you-"

"because you didn't want me to get scared. right? right," you cut him off, and he looks more and more like a kicked puppy. "i'm not necessarily mad that you're a vampire- but that's something i should've been told considering we've been dating for 5 years and got engaged this year."

leon sighs, nodding begrudgingly in agreement. "i suppose you're right."

"obviously," you place a kiss on his cheek, enjoying the moment as he melts into your touch. "no more surprises for now, okay?”

"deal."
