Chapter 1: You're Finally Awake

Chapter Text

"Hey, you two."

It was all a blur...

"You're finally awake."

"S->t... What happened...?"

"You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush, along with us, and that goat boy in the cart behind us.

Kris' vision slowly unblurred, as they properly came to and took in their surroundings. They were on a cart, their hands bound together with rope. Beside them was their close friend Susie, hands bound just like them. In front of them sat a large man with flowing blonde hair, clad in light armour and hands once again bound. In front of Susie sat another large man, wearing an imposing cloak. Unlike them, he wore a gag around his mouth.

"Oof..." Susie groaned, still dazed. "Kris...?" "KRIS?!" She jolted awake upon noticing Kris, before continuing. "Kris, where the f<'k are we? And what's with these ropes, what the hell did we do?!"

"You're in Skyrim, lizard. And what you did, I'm not exactly sure, but we're all brothers and sisters in binds now, Argonian."

Susie looked puzzled. "Argonian? The hell's an Argonian? 'cause I'm pretty damn sure I'm not one of those."

The man replied with "Then what are you?"

"I'm a monster. Name's Susie."

"Monster...? You don't seem very monstrous, you're speaking to me! But, I suppose I can accept that... Susie. I am Ralof."

"Ralof? Never heard that name before..."

"It's a Nordic name. And either way, Sovngarde awaits."

"Sovngarde?"

"The afterlife for Nord heroes."

Hearing "afterlife" caused Susie to panic a bit.

"Wait, afterlife?! We're gonna die?!"

"You're on an Imperial cart with Stormcloaks. Of course you'll die."

Kris said nothing, instead just silently crying at the thought of never seeing their family again. Sure, they weren't one unit any more, but they still loved them. And they'd probably never find out what happened to them. At least Ralsei was-

"Kris? Susie? You're here too?"

...F<'k.
