Chapter Text
so, it starts like this;
yoongi is a post-grad music student, freshly moved to seoul after getting his degree in music back home in daegu. he's looking for a place to stay (the thoughts of college campus dorms filled with eighteen year olds tasting freedom for the first time does not appeal to him). he eventually finds a small (but cosy) place in a good part of town. here comes the second issue; he can't afford rent all by himself. so he puts up an advert online, looking for a roommate, preferably around the same age as him.
enter kim seokjin; a year older than yoongi, studying medicine, back broader than the pacific ocean and the most beautiful thing yoongi has laid eyes on in his life. he's not exaggerating.
and so their friendship begins; awkward silences and moving around each other in their flat. yoongi doesn't think it will amount to much more, but it's a small world. he befriends namjoon, another kid in the same course as he is, and hoseok; he doesn't realize that by befriending them he's befriending namjoon's brother taehyung and his best friend jimin, and of course wherever that duo is you can also find jungkook, and wherever that kid is you can find seokjin. so they end up in the same friend group; living together and hanging together, and the awkward silences between them become filled with quiet laughter and comfortable companionship. yoongi remembers never liking a roommate so much before.
and of course; friendship blossoms into romance, and before christmas even comes around min yoongi is head over heels for kim seokjin. the best part is that kim seokjin is head over heels for min yoongi, too.
fast forward a year after their first meeting, and they're ten months into their relationship. they're still living in the same two bedroom apartment, but yoongi uses his bedroom as just a closet for his things -- it's seokjin's bed he sleeps in every night.
it continues like this;
it must be eight o'clock on a saturday morning, and yoongi is not impressed. this is an ungodly time to be awake, especially when he could be sleeping in, but alas. seokjin is fast asleep, curled up against yoongi's back; an arm thrown over the younger's stomach, his breath fanning out onto the hairs on the nape of yoongi's neck. the steady rise and fall of his breath is comforting, and yoongi tries to fall back asleep again but - seokjin is too damn warm. he's like a furnace.
the two of them are completely naked as well (too lazy to put on anything after last night's fuck), and so yoongi's in direct contact with seokjin's warm skin and, as nice as cuddling is, he thinks he's going to combust. he makes a move to wriggle out of his boyfriend's grip, but seokjin (mumbling in his sleep) only pulls him closer.
well. he might as well make the most of this situation.
yoongi turns over, presses a kiss to seokjin's forehead, and when he moves he suddenly feels - oh. against his thigh. jin-hyung's got a case of morning wood.
yoongi trails his hands lightly down seokjin's waist, a smirk growing on his face. he should wake seokjin up soon - he begins to mouth wetly at the juncture of his neck and shoulder. he's already up early - they might as well make good use of this saturday morning.
he attaches his lips to seokjin's collarbones. there's a mark, a dark hickey that coloured wonderfully over the night. he sets about adding another.
seokjin looks like a prince, even asleep. yoongi snakes a hand between his thighs. "rise and shine, sleeping beauty."
