Work Text:
When Seungmin was fourteen, he remembered a classmate complaining that he was too smart. He remembered frowning at her, confused by her statement. How could someone be too smart? Wasn’t smart good? His parents had never said he was too smart. Well, they never said much of anything but still.
The teacher had told her off on it and he’d received an apology from the girl but he had never forgotten the statement, it was always in the back of his mind.
Lingering.
He stared down at the bright red box. It had been left resting against his doorframe. Seungmin had neither seen anyone leave nor did he remember any of his friends saying they’d be leaving a gift.
It was a heart shaped box, a tidy bow wrapped around the whole thing. There was no bag. No note. No anything. A part of him wanted to just ignore it. Pretend he hadn’t seen it and maybe someone would steal it from his doorstep except today had been bad.
Campus had been filled with hearts, splatters of pink and red were inescapable and the couples even worse. It was like Valentine's Day suddenly made PDA okay. He’d walked past one too many couples with their tongues down each other's throats. That wasn’t even the worst part.
The worst had been his exam. A portion of his notes had gone missing and he’d come to realize he’d relied too much on his notes. He couldn’t remember anything on the missing pages. His head was swimming with information, he’d known the material yet he had been the last to leave the exam and he’d felt horrible.
He stared down at the box, Seungmin knew who had left it.
It was him. His stalker as Jeongin so kindly called him.
He had expected another meal but it was only a Valentine’s present today.
Was he asking to be Seungmin’s valentine?
Without a second thought he scooped up the box and unlocked his front door. He shed out of his hat, scarf, boots and gloves, making sure everything would dry evenly before shuffling deeper into his apartment.
He couldn’t help but peek into his kitchen as he passed by but the kitchen table was empty. No sight of any prepackaged food, or set up already for him.
Seungmin tried not to let it bother him. He couldn’t keep relying on them for something so basic. He had cooked for himself for years. This was nothing new. Yet he couldn’t help being a little sad. He dumped the box on the table and turned away, he needed a shower.
In under twenty minutes, he was showered and fluffy haired, his feet tucked into his warmest slippers and a cozy sweater thrown on over his upper half. The warm shower had helped but it felt as if the chill was following him around. He could still feel it, as if it had eyes and had no choice but to stare.
Kimchi-jjigae called to him as he stepped into the kitchen. His eyes drifted over the heart box and towards his fridge. He needed something warm and comforting first.
Chocolates were an indulgence. A dessert he could have after he ate. If he ruined his appetite now with sugar he knew he was going to regret it. Thankfully he still had some leftovers from a previous stalker delivery. It was easy to cook up some rice and warm up the stew, setting everything up at the table.
He’d never questioned how he knew kimchi-jjigae was his favorite meal. Seungmin received it at least once a week.
It wasn’t anything new to eat alone but there was a weird sensation to eat like this. With no set table. He would’ve set it for two even if it was only Seungmin eating. He wrinkled his nose at his own thoughts. Why did he miss his invisible dinner partner?
Maybe Jeongin was right, he was starting to lose his mind.
It was easy to inhale the kimchi-jjigae. It warmed him up from his cheeks to his toes, his dishes completely empty. Not a grain of rice left. The last of the leftovers digesting inside of him.
Hopefully he’d come tomorrow… or Seungmin would actually have to go grocery shopping finally. Maybe Jeongin would go with him. It was his least enjoyed task. Something so boring about it when he didn’t even have the time to cook elaborate meals. He relied on frozen meals or ramen stews with his tight schedule.
Seungmin sighed leaning back against the chair. He knew he needed to do the dishes but his eyes drifted towards the heart box. It couldn’t hurt to have a couple at least. He stood up, box in hand and moved into his living room. He turned on a random movie, he just needed the noise to comfort him mainly. His apartment was always so eerie in the silence.
Carefully he untied the ribbon, letting it fall onto his lap before tugging the lid off it. Inside were not chocolates as he assumed. No, they were chocolate covered strawberries. Each of them were stunning and almost identical in shape, as if they had been each hand picked to make sure they’d be perfect.
He stared down at them almost in awe.
Had he—?
The chocolate strawberries simply looked too perfect for it to be store bought. Seungmin had seen them himself.
Which meant he had made these himself. It wasn’t a full meal but it was something special. A Valentine's gift just for Seungmin. He had thought of Seungmin and created this beautiful gift.
It sent butterflies flooding into his stomach. He couldn’t help but smile down at them as if they were him. Which was ridiculous. Everything about this was ridiculous. If Jeongin was here he would’ve told Seungmin to throw out the whole box. But Jeongin wasn’t here and Seungmin had had a terrible day.
So smart, you’re stupid.
Without a second thought Seungmin sank his teeth into the hard chocolate that encased the strawberry and immediately his mouth was filled with sweetness. The chocolate melted on his tongue and the juice of the strawberry flooded his mouth. They were perfect. Just as he had predicted.
The movie played on and Seungmin couldn’t help but get lost in the story, his hand idly picking up strawberry after strawberry and popping them into his mouth.
It wasn’t until the credits of the movie began to roll that he glanced down at the box and color filled his cheeks.
An empty box looked back at him.
Fuck, he’d finished the whole thing.
His stomach tossed uncomfortably. Okay, he had definitely overdone it but there was nothing to do now. They were all gone and one box of chocolate covered strawberries wasn't going to kill him. It was fine.
He licked the leftover chocolate and strawberry off his lips before standing up. The empty box left on the couch. He still had to wash the dishes.
Seungmin shuffled back into the kitchen but something felt off. Had all that sugar made him sleepy? He paused, rubbing his eyes as he tried to get rid of the sluggishness creeping up over him. And for a moment it worked. He blinked, taking his dishes to the sink and turning on the tap. He stared down at the water as he waited for one side of the sink to fill up, ready to soak the dishes.
He found himself blinking rapidly, a bit of a daze overcoming him. Carefully he gripped the counter, what was wrong with him? He frowned, grabbing a glass and quickly taking a few gulps of water. It was probably just all the chocolate disagreeing with him. And the water did help. It cleared his head for the moment and he quickly dunked the dishes into the hot soapy water. The faster he did this the faster he could go to bed and forget this terrible day.
He did his best to wash the dishes well, quickly scrubbing them down and rinsing it off but as he reached the pot, the odd feeling returned. It was worse. His legs felt weak as he grabbed a hold of the counter tightly, forcing himself to stay upright.
What was happening? Was the stress of the day catching up on him?
Quickly he flicked the tap off and drained the sink. The pot will have to be a problem for morning Seungmin. Instead he managed his way back to the living room, sinking down onto the couch. His body immediately relaxed into the soft fabric, legs almost lifeless as he pulled them up onto the sofa.
His head felt as if it had been filled with cotton. On T.V another mindless movie had begun, something romantic it seemed but he couldn’t even focus on that. His eyes drifted towards the empty box of chocolates and for a moment his heart skipped a beat.
No. He had never harmed Seungmin before.
Maybe he was just getting sick. It had to just be sickness. He had overworked himself and over studied and now he was facing his own consequences. He huffed, tucking his head against the sofa, his tongue caught between his teeth.
He could never have hurt Seungmin. His head lolled backwards, out of Seungmin’s control as his eyes attempted to blink away black dots in his vision.
By the time he realized he couldn’t even lift a finger, he drifted off, eyes fluttering shut without much of a thought.
-
Minho decided to leave it for at least an hour after he watched Seungmin collapse on his sofa. The tiny camera he’d implanted in the bookshelf had given him a perfect few of his puppy scarfing down the treats with so much eagerness and then he’d been gifted with a perfect view of Seungmin losing consciousness.
His puppy had given him a Valentine’s Day present back without even trying. How perfect.
With practiced ease, he tapped the passcode to Seungmin’s apartment and slipped into the apartment silently. He was greeted with the adorable arrangement of his puppy’s winter gear. Adding to his mental shopping list a pair of new gloves for his puppy. His current ones looked too worn in. He didn’t need Seungmin’s fingers freezing and falling off. Though, puppies didn’t have much use for their fingers anyway, but that was a thought for another time.
It was hard to keep his excitement at bay as he took quick eager steps into the living room.
And there Seungmin was…limp…and beautifully lifeless on his sofa. His long limbs rested clumsy, his head tucked into the corner of the sofa and his mouth was even slightly open.
Minho swallowed. Attempting to calm himself down as he carefully approached his sleeping puppy. His heart hammered away in his chest. Up close he was even more of a dream. His hair feathered around him like a soft halo. The locks were so long now, Minho wanted to gather them up into his hand and tug. He resisted the urge, instead crouching down onto his knees and observing. Simply taking in the sight of his puppy. Seungmin had skipped pants, only a pair of flimsy shorts, revealing almost all the pale pretty skin of his legs.
He glanced to the other end of the sofa, the empty box looked back at him. When he had planned the present he had never expected Seungmin to eat the whole box. Usually the boy was so careful with his sweets. He loved savouring them, keeping them for a night he really needed them, or even then he would never finish a whole box. Today must have been so tough on his puppy. Minho pouted, looking back at the boy. Right now, there was not a single line on his face. He looked so peaceful. No stress in sight. This was how Seungmin should always be. This was what he deserved.
“Don’t worry, puppy, soon you won’t have to worry about a single thing,” Minho murmured as a promise.
When Minho had stolen a portion of Seungmin’s notes, he hadn’t thought much of it. He didn’t think it would’ve upset the puppy this much but here he was, eating a whole box of chocolates like a greedy pup. The drugs consumed so heavily were enough to knock a person out but if Seungmin had eaten them occasionally, one or two times, he would’ve simply have felt woozy. He wouldn’t have been able to think. Likely, his movements would’ve been slow and sluggish. This hadn’t been Minho’s exact plan but it wasn’t an unwanted outcome.
Slowly he reached a hand out, carefully with one finger he moved strands away from his eyes, revealing his soft eyelashes and those pretty eyebrows.
Seungmin had no idea the danger he was in. He was so clueless. Minho could do anything to him right now. He could tie him up and take Seungmin home with him. He could keep him drugged like this forever, keep him as a little doll. He could do anything.
But he couldn’t. Not now. It was still too early. He needed Seungmin to fully accept him. Not this timid acceptance that was more born out of curiosity to find out who Minho was.
He needed Seungmin to want him. For Seungmin to realize he couldn’t live without Minho.
So he simply sat there, leaned against the coffee table and watched the boy breathe. He watched his chest rise up and down, watching the occasional twitch from the boy, whether it was his finger or a facial twitch or simply a little noise in the back of his throat. Minho drank it all in as he tried to stuff the want to touch him deep inside of him.
Eventually Minho stood up and made his way to the kitchen. With practiced ease he finished the dishes and wiped the sink clean. He knew how specific Seungmin was with his cleaning. He put the dishes away and slipped his gloves back on, observing the snack cabinets and fridge that were scarce of anything really to prepare food..
He smiled. Seungmin was relying entirely on Minho for his meals.
He hadn’t been grocery shopping anymore. How perfect. If Minho didn’t provide him with food that meant Seungmin wouldn’t have anything to eat, unless he ordered out and Seungmin didn’t have the money to indulge that often. Even if he ordered out for a day or two, he’d get sick of the greasy food and or run out of money to spend on it.
Seungmin was always so worried about his funds.
Humming, he opened up a nearby cabinet, examining Seungmin’s plates and cups. They were all stacked neatly, as expected by the younger boy so Minho took them out. He emptied out the cabinet before opening up another cabinet and switched out the contents of it with the plates and cups.
He repeated the same process until all the cabinets had been switched around. Minho had even placed Seungmin’s favorite mug far too high up. His Seungmin might be tall but he wasn’t that tall.
The rest of the apartment was relatively tidy. He tidied up the table in his kitchen as well as a few odd things in his living room. He checked on the battery of the hidden camera, replacing it just in case. He couldn’t risk losing the surveillance on his puppy for even an hour or two.
Seungmin rested peacefully throughout this. Minho had tucked a blanket over him as well, one that smelled just like Minho’s cologne. It was helpful to leave a reminder of himself in the apartment. Seungmin would grow used to the smell, to the smell of Minho.
After that he did a load of laundry, humming as he observed Seungmin’s clothes. His puppy always dressed so cutely. Dozens of soft oversized sweaters that he had to pull or fold the sleeves of, comfy sweatpants or loose jeans, soft cute socks, even a pair of puppy socks. How endearing. He made sure to put an abundance of fabric softer into the machine before starting it before his eyes darted back towards the laundry hamper.
Oh, he’d miss a pair of Seungmin’s underwear. How tragic. Minho picked it up, staring at it before tucking it into his jacket pocket.
He drifted back into the living room. Seungmin had moved a little, curled up on his side, legs tangled in the blanket. One of his hands dangled carelessly off the side.
Minho had been hard since the moment he’d seen Seungmin bite into the first chocolate. He wished he could’ve been in the room so he could’ve seen it up close. Watching the chocolate melt on his tongue. Maybe even feed them to Seungmin, indulge him until his puppy couldn't take it anymore. Which Seungmin already had but if Minho had been the one to feed him he was sure Seungmin would’ve protested more. Whined about his tummy being too full and Minho would’ve insisted Seungmin could take it. Just one more.
His attraction to Seungmin had never simply been lust or sexual, but Minho was only a man. Who could resist such a pretty boy? So pale and pink all over.
Minho slipped his gloves off and carefully he picked up Seungmin’s limp hand. The other didn’t even twitch at the movement. The drug dose was perfect. A limp body to play with. To use however he wanted.
He cupped Seungmin’s hand with his own and pressed it up against his aching bulge. It had been straining against his jeans for three hours now. Being able to wander Seungmin’s home without a worry only helped him stay hard. He was doing all this and Seungmin was helpless to stop it.
He was helpless to stop Minho from rubbing his bulge against his hand. A shuddered groan left his lips as he stared down at Seungmin’s expressionless face.
He could cum like this easily. But he couldn’t waste an opportunity like this. Seungmin may have trusted him enough to eat the chocolates but he didn’t know how his puppy would react once he was awake. Would he feel suspicious? Betrayed? It was just as possible as Seungmin not giving it a single thought after waking up.
Minho dropped Seungmin’s hand, making quick work of his belt and jeans, tugging them down his thighs just enough to pull out his cock and began getting himself off. It was dry and uncomfortable but he ignored it. He had a different goal over his own pleasure.
Coming on Seungmin’s pretty face.
It didn't take long to reach his peak, he let himself moan finally as he aimed towards his puppy’s face and came all over his face. His come landed across his lashes and lips even coating his cheeks. He had purposely moved his hair out of his eyes earlier. It was harder to get rid of any trace of it in his puppy’s hair before leaving.
Seungmin was perfect. He couldn’t help but crouch down again, observing closer. His own tongue darted out as he licked some of his own come right off Seungmin’s lips. Just a small taste of those perfect pink lips. Seungmin didn’t even twitch at the touch. Face remaining perfectly still.
Next he pulled his phone out and took a few photos of his puppy’s face, making sure he got every angle, as well of his sleeping body. Seungmin was going to wake up and have no idea at all.
He pulled the underwear out of his pocket and used it to clean his face. It wasn’t like Seungmin was getting these back anyways. He made sure every trace was gone, leaving Seungmin’s face as perfect as he’d first seen it.
Unfortunately though he couldn’t sit here and watch Seungmin’s unconscious body for the rest of the night. He couldn’t risk his presence for this long. Showing up tonight had been risky enough but it was Valentine’s Day and anyone who saw him for the first time could easily assume him as someone’s date for the day. A fool proof plan.
“Sweet dreams, puppy,” Minho softly cooed, his breath brushing across Seungmin’s lips.
It wouldn’t be long till he’d have him. This visit had just made his urge worse. Seungmin so carelessly consumed chocolates from someone he didn’t even know. How long until another realized how easy Seungmin was? Minho knew he wasn’t the only one born like this. But he was the only one meant for Seungmin.
No one else could possibly compare.
He pressed a quick kiss to Seungmin’s forehead before standing up and tucked the extra blanket Seungmin kept on the sofa around him. He took one last long look.
Soon.
He turned around, grabbing his bag from where he had left it and quietly slipped out of the apartment. He cleaned the door handle down with a disinfectant wipe as well as across the keypad. It was possible Seungmin would check those if he was paranoid but Minho doubted it. If Seungmin had been afraid for his life he would’ve gone to the police months ago.
This time would be no different.
