The smell of sea water immediately hit them as soon as they stepped foot on the beach, but they were used to it because of how frequently they go to the beach.
"You ready to see some tricks?!" Surfboard asked excitedly.
"And see you fall off your board a million times? Totally!" Boomwave joked.
Surfboard just rolled his eyes, and ran over to the water while Boombox set up their towels and umbrella. He placed his boombox next to him and played some tunes while he watched Surfboard.
While Surfboard was doing some tricks, a curious shark crept up behind him. He stared at the board from afar then swam a little closer. He then clamped his shark-like teeth onto the board, but it was right when Surfboard was about to do a trick.
Surfboard, who is not able to do a trick with a whole other person on his board. Slipped off his board, kicked the board right into the shark-like inphernals face, and fell face first into the water. Boombox chuckled as he watched Surfboard climb up onto his board, but immediately stopped when he saw the shark fin sticking out of the water right beside Surfboard.
”Surf! Watch out!” Boombox yelled at Surfboard.
But, Surfboard couldn’t hear him because he had water in his ears. He saw Boombox frantically waving his arms and pointing at something. He turned around and was met face to face with an inphernal that…looked like a shark? He fell off his board again and quickly swam back to shore. But when Surfboard turned around he saw the shark was right behind him.
”Ahh! Why are you following me?!” Surfboard said summoning his board just in case.
The shark stared at both Surfboard and Boombox for a bit, but it suddenly warbled. Before it spoke.
“Waiting for you to apologize,” It said bluntly with a toothy smile.
Surfboard and Boombox were extremely confused, but Surfboard was more scared by its sharp teeth while Boombox was more amazed that it could speak.
“Uhh…apologize for what?” Surfboard asked.
”You kicked that piece of wood into my face!” They replied crossing their arms.
“Piece of wood?! This is not a piece of wood! It is-Ow!” Surfboard was suddenly interrupted by Boombox elbowing him in the side.
”Dude, no one wants to hear you yap about a colored piece of wood,” Boombox said saving the shark from Surfboards never ending yap.
”Alright, alright, relax,” Surfboard huffed massaging his side.
“Umm…what’s your name?” Asked Surfboard.
”My name is Shurifin. What about you guys?”
”I’m Boombox and this dunce is Surfboard,” he said gesturing to Surfboard.
Shurifin just smiled warmly, which made both Surfboards and Boombox’s face tint red. But, it slowly faded when Boombox saw a bit of blood drip from Shurifins cheek.
”Hey, you’re bleeding.” Boombox said worriedly.
”Uhh, I think I have a bandage.” Said Surfboard digging into his bag and pulling out a small bandage.
He gently put on Shurifins cheek, “There!” He said when he stuck it onto his face.
Shurifin blushed; leaned forward and kissed both Boombox and Surfboard on the cheek.
”Take that as my thank you.” Shurifin said before he jumped into the water.
For a few seconds Surfboard and Boombox were stunned, before they suddenly snapped back into reality.
“We’re definitely telling Coil about this.” Surfboard said grinning with blush still on his face.
”Definitely.” Boombox replied also with blush on his face.
