Chapter Text
My Little Space Husband
(Namjin Oneshot)
A breathtaking… no..
a dangerously handsome boy was pacing back and forth, anger clearly written all over his face.
“I swear… I’m going to beat this Kim Namjoon! How dare he break my favorite pan?!”
“Yah! Jin hyung, stop roaming here and there. My eyes are getting tired just watching you like this,” Jungkook sighed dramatically.
“Taehyung, call your oppa right now,” Jin huffed.
“I already called him, hyung… but he said he’s busy with some work,” Taehyung replied carefully.
“Tell him to come. Now.”
Before anyone could say anything—
“I’m sorry, baby… please forgive your hubby,” Namjoon said softly, holding his ears like a guilty child.
Jin turned, glaring.
“Oh really? And who told you to enter my kitchen? Huh?! You broke my favorite pink pan!”
POV Shift
Taekook exchanged glances.
“Let’s go… it’s getting late. He’ll handle him,” Taehyung whispered.
“Yeah, let’s leave them alone,” Jungkook smirked.
And just like that...
they disappeared.
Jin sat on the couch, arms crossed.
Namjoon slowly walked closer, nervous.
“ Lemme explain… about your pan?” he asked softly.
“It’s not my fault—”
“Then whose fault is it?” Jin snapped.
Namjoon hesitated.
“You broke it when you were in your little space…” he muttered.
Jin froze.
“…Oh.”
Silence.
Then softly—
“Can you… buy me a new one?”
Namjoon smiled gently.
“I’ll buy you ten.”
“Is dinner ready?” Namjoon asked, peeking into the kitchen.
“I’m hungry,” he added with a small chuckle.
“Yes, it’s done. Go freshen up,” Jin replied.
“Okay~”
Author POV
Namjin were already married, but their relationship had its own complications.
Jin had a little space, something Namjoon was still learning to understand.
Taehyung and Jungkook their cousins /sibling and married to each other 2 years ago......knew about it and they tried to help.
Slowly… carefully…
Namjoon was learning too.
“Dada… let’s sleep,” Jin mumbled softly.
“Just 10 minutes, baby… I’m finishing some work,” Namjoon replied.
“No… come now,” Jin pouted.
Namjoon chuckled and moved closer.
“Okay, I’m coming.”
Jin had slipped into his little space.
Namjoon noticed immediately.
He gently pulled Jin into his arms.
“I know… you can’t sleep without cuddles,” he whispered.
Jin nodded sleepily.
“Dada… do you love big Jin or small Jin?”
Namjoon smiled.
“I love Jin. Both big and small.”
Next Afternoon — Office .
Namjoon sat on his chair, files scattered across the desk.
Jin was sitting on his lap.
One arm wrapped around his waist…
the other resting on his thigh.
Namjoon leaned down, placing soft kisses along Jin’s neck.
Jin shivered slightly.
“Joonie… let me go…” he whispered.
But Namjoon didn’t stop.
Instead, he pulled him closer.
Jin bit his lip.
(I have to prepare everything… how will I do anything if he keeps making me like this…)
He let out a small breath.
“Joonie… please…”
Namjoon hummed against his skin.
“Why should I?”
Jin pouted.
“I came here to give your file… the one you forgot at home…”
Namjoon chuckled.
“And now you’re not going anywhere.”
Jin groaned softly.
After Some Time
Almost half an hour later....
Namjoon finally let him go.
“Fine… go home.”
Jin immediately stood up.
But before leaving
Namjoon pulled him once again and placed a quick kiss on his lips.
“Go back safely.”
Jin smiled slightly.
Night at Villa
The main door opened.
Namjoon stepped inside.
…and froze.
The whole villa was dark.
No lights.
No sound.
Nothing.
His brows furrowed.
“Jin?”
Silence.
Just then...
His phone buzzed.
A message from Jin.
- “I’m on the terrace.”
- “Go to our bedroom.”
- “Freshen up.”
- “I’ve placed your clothes on the bed.”
- “Wear them.”
- “Heat the food.”
- “And come to the terrace.”
- “And NO cheating.”
Namjoon blinked.
A small smile appeared on his lips.
He quickly typed...
“Baby… why? Where are you? What are you planning…?”
He looked around the dark villa once again.
Something was definitely going on.
…and he was curious.
Namjoon stood in the kitchen after getting ready, absentmindedly heating the food.
Then his eyes dropped to his own outfit.
A slightly transparent white shirt…
and grey sweatpants hugging his frame.
He paused.
“…What is he planning?”
A faint smile tugged at his lips.
Terrace
The moment Namjoon stepped onto the terrace,
He froze.
Soft lights glowed around the space.
A cozy setup… candles flickering gently.
In the middle,
A mattress laid neatly on the floor, decorated like a small, private date.
And there,
Jin.
Sitting right in the center.
Wearing Namjoon’s oversized hoodie.
The fabric fell loosely over him… stopping at his upper thighs…
revealing his smooth legs under the soft lights.
Namjoon gulped.
Hard.
Jin slowly stood up.
The hoodie slipped slightly as he moved—
still no sign of anything underneath.
Namjoon’s breath hitched.
Jin walked closer… slow… deliberate…
Namjoon had already placed the tray aside without even realizing.
Jin wrapped his arms around Namjoon’s neck… pulling him down slightly.
His lips brushed near Namjoon’s ear.
“Daddy… how’s the surprise…?”
His voice was soft. Teasing.
Namjoon’s hands immediately went to Jin’s waist, pulling him flush against his chest.
“Very nice…” he murmured lowly.
His grip tightened slightly.
“But what are you wearing… and that too on the terrace… hmm?”
His tone turned possessive.
Jin whined softly.
“Come on, daddy… look at me…”
He stepped back slowly.
Then bit his own lip.
“Aren’t I looking like a whole course meal…?”
His eyes sparkled with mischief.
That was it.
Namjoon grabbed his wrist instantly and pulled him back.
Straight into his chest.
“Yeah…” he whispered near his lips.
“Just like you’re trying to make me go crazy.”
Jin giggled softly.
The tension melted just a little.
“Come… let’s eat first…” he said, tugging Namjoon gently.
Namjoon exhaled, still staring at him.
“You’re dangerous, you know that?”
Jin only smiled.
They sat together under the soft lights.
Close.
Quiet.
Comfortable.
Between teasing glances… soft smiles…
and hidden warmth—
The night felt perfect.
The plates were long forgotten.
The soft lights… the quiet night…
everything blurred into just them.
Jin moved closer.
Namjoon didn’t wait this time.
Their lips met...
slow at first… then deeper… more desperate.
Hungry.
Like they had been holding back for too long.
Namjoon’s hands tightened around Jin’s waist, pulling him closer, lifting the hoodie & throwing it across the mattress.....
Jin melted into him, fingers gripping his shirt.
Breathless. Messy. Warm.
And then...
“DADA....?”
A soft, confused voice.
Namjoon froze instantly.
Jin blinked up at him, eyes suddenly small… innocent.
“Why are we naki naki…?”
He tilted his head slightly.
“Are we going to play some game… like those actors on TV…?”
Reality hit.
Hard.
Namjoon panicked.
Quickly , he pulled the blanket over both of them, covering Jin properly, shielding him.
“Nothing, baby… nothing like that,” he said softly but firmly.
His voice changed—gentle, protective.
“Let’s just sleep, okay?”
Jin looked at him for a moment… then nodded slowly.
“Okay… dada…”
Namjoon wrapped his arms around him carefully, making sure he was comfortable.
“Sleep now.”
But Jin immediately snuggled closer, clinging to him.
“You know na… baby can’t sleep without dada cuddles…”
Namjoon’s heart softened.
A small smile appeared.
He pulled Jin even closer, pressing a soft kiss to his hair.
“I know.”
“Baby loves you…” Jin mumbled sleepily.
Namjoon closed his eyes, holding him securely.
“I love you too… baby.”
The night that was supposed to be something else
...
Turned into something softer.
Safer.
Warmer.
Namjoon looked down at Jin....
sleeping peacefully in his arms.
So small.
So soft.
So unaware.
A tired sigh left his lips.
“When will… we be like normal couples…?”
His voice was barely a whisper.
His fingers gently brushed Jin’s hair.
Flashback
It all started 5 years ago.
Jin was just… there.
At an office party.
The son of his father’s secretary.
Quiet.
Sitting alone in the corner of a couch…
eyes teary… fingers fidgeting.
He had slipped into his little space.
And some men..
Too close.
Too wrong.
Namjoon still remembered that moment clearly.
The way his chest tightened.
The anger.
The protectiveness.
The way he walked straight to Jin and pulled him away.
That was the first time.
The first time he saw him.
And the first time....
He fell.
It took him 2 years to make Jin trust him enough to date.
Another 6 months to marry him.
But Jin...
Jin was always insecure.
About his little space.
He hated it.
Hated how, at the most important moments,
he would lose control.
Hated the thought that...
“Joon won’t get what a husband deserves…”
He used to say that often.
He even tried to refuse marriage.
But Namjoon...
He didn’t let him go.
He held on.
Stubbornly.
Even emotionally blackmailed him a little… just to make him stay.
Because loving Jin...
Was never a choice.
Present
Even after marriage.
They never really crossed that line.
Just soft or passionate kisses.
Warm hugs.
Quiet love.
And Namjoon never complained.
Not once.
Next morning
Jin slowly opened his eyes.
“…Joon?”
His voice was soft.
But the space beside him was empty.
His heart dropped.
He sat up slowly...
expecting soreness… something… anything from last night.
But..
Nothing.
Silence.
And then it hit him.
“…I slipped…”
His fingers clenched the bedsheet.
“I did it again…”
Flashback (Last Night)
Between those kisses,
Namjoon had murmured teasingly,
“Baby… you’ll become little again and leave me like this…”
He had smiled while saying it.
Just a joke.
But Jin—
Jin took it to heart.
Back to Present
Tears welled up in Jin’s eyes.
“I can’t even… make him happy…”
His voice broke.
“He loves me so much… and I can’t even give him pleasure…”
He quickly wiped his tears.
“ He must be angry....and maybe already in office…”
He got up.
Freshened up.
Determined.
“I’ll make it up somehow…”
Downstairs
Jin walked into the living room,
…and froze.
Namjoon.
Jungkook.
Sitting together.
While Taehyung was in the kitchen, cooking.
Jin’s breath hitched.
“He… didn’t go to office…?”
“Good morning, hyung!” Jungkook smiled.
Taehyung peeked from the kitchen.
“Come, breakfast is almost ready!”
But Jin,
Jin only looked at Namjoon.
Slowly walking toward him.
Eyes already filling.
“I’m… sorry…”
His voice trembled.
Namjoon frowned.
“Why are you sorry?”
Jin’s hands shook.
“Last night… I again…”
He couldn’t even complete the sentence.
“I always ruin everything… I can’t even be a proper....”
“Seokjin.”
Namjoon’s voice turned firm.
He stood up.
Walked straight to him.
And pulled him into a tight hug.
“Don’t. Say that again.”
His tone was serious.
Almost strict.
Jin broke down.
“I can’t give you what you deserve… you always have to stop because of me… you must be frustrated… I know you are…”
Namjoon pulled back slightly, holding his face.
“Look at me.”
Jin hesitated… but did.
“I don’t love you for that ,only.”
His voice softened.
“I love you.”
“Not what you can give me.”
Jin’s lips trembled.
“But you....”
Namjoon shook his head.
“Yeah, I’m human. I get frustrated sometimes.”
Honest.
Real.
“But that doesn’t mean I regret you.”
He wiped Jin’s tears gently.
“Not even for a second.”
“You think I married you for physical things?”
Namjoon whispered.
“I waited 2 years just to hold your hand properly.”
A small smile.
“You think this matters more than you?”
Jin started crying harder.
Namjoon pulled him into his chest again.
“You are enough.”
He whispered.
“More than enough.”
Jungkook quietly wiped his eyes.
Taehyung sighed softly from the kitchen.
“These two…”
Jin clutched Namjoon tightly.
“I’m sorry…”
“No more sorry.”
“I love you…”
“I love you more.”
And for the thousand time with joon,
Jin felt it.
Maybe
Just maybe,
He wasn’t lacking.
The four of them finally settled around the table.
The atmosphere had just turned soft again after the emotional moment.
Until
Jungkook suddenly grabbed Taehyung’s wrist and pulled him straight into his lap.
“Tae—!”
Before Taehyung could even react...
Jungkook leaned in and kissed him.
Quick. Bold. Unapologetic.
“You didn’t give me my morning kiss…” he murmured.
Taehyung froze.
Then his ears turned red.
“Yah! What are you doing?!” he whispered harshly, glancing at Namjin.
“Hyungs are here!”
Jungkook only smirked.
Completely unbothered.
He tightened his hold around Taehyung’s waist and casually picked up a bite of ramen, bringing it near Taehyung’s lips.
“Eat.”
Taehyung’s blush deepened.
He lightly hit Jungkook’s chest.
“Stop it!”
Then he reached up and twisted Jungkook’s ear.
“What are you doing, huh?!”
Jungkook winced dramatically.
“Ah! Violence early morning?”
Then he winked.
Turning toward Namjoon, he said..
“Hyung… is it wrong to kiss your husband… or pull him into your lap?”
His eyes subtly signaled toward Jin,eyeing Namjoon to do same.
Namjoon raised an eyebrow.
A slow smirk forming.
“Oh? Is that so?”
Before Jin could react,
Namjoon pulled him into his lap.
“J-Joon—!”
And without hesitation ,
He pressed a soft kiss to Jin’s lips.
“Of course not,” Namjoon said calmly.
Silence.
Then,
Both Taehyung.
And Jin.
Completely red.
Jungkook burst into a chuckle.
“Look at them…”
He grinned mischievously.
“World Wide Handsome… and the World’s Most Handsome Man…”
He leaned back slightly.
“Both blushing like this.”
Taehyung buried his face in Jungkook’s shoulder.
“Shut up…”
Jin couldn’t even look up.
Namjoon just smiled softly.
Holding Jin a little closer.
And just like that.
The heavy emotions from before.
Turned into warmth.
Laughter.
And a little chaos.
The laughter slowly faded.
Namjoon and Jungkook moved to the garden… talking about something light.
Inside...
Silence.
Taehyung walked slowly toward Jin.
His steps were hesitant.
Heavy.
Like something inside him was dragging him down.
“Hyung…”
His voice was small.
Too small.
Jin looked up.
And froze.
Taehyung’s eyes...
Red.
Swollen.
Barely holding.
“Tae…?”
Jin’s voice softened instantly.
Taehyung sat beside him on the couch.
Slowly.
Carefully.
Like even sitting required strength.
Then...
He reached out…
…and held Jin’s hand.
Tight.
“Hyung… please be strong…”
His voice trembled.
“Namjoon hyung… he’s already looking for doctors… he doesn’t want to give up on you…”
A weak, broken smile.
“He loves you… so much…”
His lips quivered.
“And Kookie…”
A hollow chuckle escaped him.
But it broke midway.
“…Kookie loves you too…”
His voice cracked.
“…maybe more than he loves me…”
Jin’s eyes widened.
“What…?”
That—
That didn’t make sense.
Jungkook? Who did everything possible in this world to make Taehyung agree for being his boyfriend and later his husband....
Not loving Taehyung the most?
Impossible.
Jin held his hand tighter.
“Tae… what are you saying…? You’re his everything…”
Taehyung shook his head.
Once.
Twice.
Then again.
More tears fell.
“No, hyung…”
A whisper.
“He loves me… I know he does…”
His breath hitched.
“But… not the way I thought…”
Jin’s heart clenched.
“Ome month ago…”
Taehyung’s voice dropped further.
“I wasn’t feeling well…”
“I thought… I might be pregnant…”
Jin inhaled sharply.
“I told him to bring a test kit…”
Taehyung’s fingers tightened around Jin’s hand.
“So casually…”
“But inside…”
His lips trembled.
“I was scared…”
He looked down.
Tears falling silently now.
“Before checking results… I asked him…”
A shaky breath.
“If he was ready…”
“If he wanted a baby…”
A broken laugh.
“Because… it wasn’t planned…”
Jin didn’t interrupt.
Couldn’t.
“And he said…”
Taehyung’s voice almost disappeared.
“…he didn’t want one.”
Silence.
Heavy.
Crushing.
Jin’s grip tightened.
“He said… he didn’t want a child before you and Namjoon hyung become parents…”
Tae’s smile was empty.
“So casually…”
“So honestly…”
His eyes shut tightly.
“It hurt, hyung…”
A tear slipped down.
“So much…”
“I asked him…”
Voice shaking again.
“If he would hate me… or the baby…”
Jin held his breath.
“And he said…”
Tae swallowed.
“…he would accept it.”
A pause.
“Because it would be his child.”
That broke him.
Taehyung laughed softly.
But it sounded wrong.
So wrong.
“He didn’t want it…”
His voice cracked harder.
“He would just… accept it…”
His shoulders trembled.
“That moment…”
A whisper.
“I felt so empty…”
Jin’s eyes filled.
“The thought of carrying a baby…”
“…when the father himself doesn’t want it…”
He shook his head slowly.
“…felt like hell…”
Silence.
Only his quiet sobs remained.
“But I respected him…”
Words came out automatically.
“I always do…”
A pause.
A breath.
“Then we checked…”
His lips trembled again.
“It was negative…”
Jin waited.
“I was… disappointed…”
His voice broke completely.
“…but he... and when to stop me.”
Not rough.
Not forcing.
Just… firm.
Certain.”
He flinched.
Physically.
“He was relieved.”
That word shattered everything.
“I saw it on his face…”
Tae whispered.
“That relief…”
His hand slipped slightly from Jin’s grip.
“And that’s when I realised…”
“…maybe…”
“…maybe I’m the only one who wanted that future…”
Jin couldn’t speak.
“Hyung…”
Tae looked at him again.
Completely broken now.
“Please… when Namjoon hyung asks you to get treatment…”
“…please don’t refuse…”
Jin frowned slightly.
“Because…”
Tae’s voice dropped to almost nothing.
“…at least one of us should have what we dream of…”
Jin’s heart dropped.
Then—
Very softly.
So soft that it almost disappeared—
“Hyung…”
A whisper.
“I’m pregnant…”
Jin froze.
Tae’s grip tightened suddenly.
Panic flooding his face.
“I found out after… after some days…”
His breathing became uneven.
“We were careful… we really were…”
“But it still happened…”
Tears fell uncontrollably now.
“I don’t want him to hate the baby, hyung…”
His voice broke completely.
“I don’t want him to feel like… our baby is just… an accident…”
His head dropped.
“I know I sound selfish…”
“I know I am…”
A sob escaped him.
“But I just…”
“I just want him to want this baby…”
His body started shaking.
“Just once…”
A whisper.
“Just once… I want him to look happy…”
His vision blurred.
Breathing uneven.
Hands cold.
“Hyung… I’m scared…”
Jin froze.
The world around him went silent.
Just Taehyung’s trembling voice… and those broken eyes.
For a moment..
Jin didn’t know what to feel.
Shock.
Fear.
Pain.
All at once.
“Tae…”
His voice came out softer than he expected.
“…When will you tell Jungkook ?”
That question..
Broke something again.
Taehyung’s head snapped up.
And then..
He shook it.
Fast.
Too fast.
“N-no…”
His voice cracked immediately.
“I… I can’t tell him…”
Jin frowned.
“Tae..”
“I can’t watch him get disappointed, hyung!”
His voice rose, shaking violently.
Tears spilled faster.
“I saw his face that day… I saw how relieved he was…”
His hands clenched into fists.
“I can’t see that again…”
Jin’s heart tightened painfully.
“I won’t tell him…”
Tae whispered now.
Almost like convincing himself.
“I’m not going to…”
Jin didn’t speak.
He simply pulled Taehyung into his arms.
Gently.
Warmly.
“Tae…”
He whispered near his hair.
“How long do you think you can hide it… hmm?”
Taehyung stiffened.
“Jungkook will find out one day…”
Jin continued softly.
“It’s better… you tell him yourself…”
A pause.
“…about the baby.”
That word..
Baby.
Taehyung pulled back suddenly.
Shaking his head again.
Harder.
Desperately.
“N-no… no…”
His breathing turned uneven.
“I’ll… I’ll go to Jimin’s house…”
His words stumbled over each other.
“I’ll make some excuse… stay there for some time…”
“He won’t notice… he won’t—”
His voice cracked completely.
“He won’t see me like this…”
Jin’s eyes widened.
“Tae, listen to yourself...”
“I don’t want him to hate it…”
Tae whispered.
“I don’t want him to look at our baby like it’s a mistake…”
His lips trembled violently now.
“I just…”
A broken breath.
“I just wanted to be happy, .....with him …”
His vision blurred.
“Just once…”
His body swayed.
“Tae...?”
And then,
Everything went dark.
His body collapsed forward.
“TAE!”
Jin caught him halfway, panic shooting through his veins.
“Tae! Open your eyes—!”
His hands trembled.
Heart racing.
“JUNGKOOK! NAMJOON!”
His voice echoed loudly through the house.
Footsteps.
Fast.
Rushed.
“What happened hyung?!” Jungkook rushed in first.
And froze.
Taehyung.
Unconscious.
In Jin’s arms.
“Tae…?”
His voice dropped instantly.
Fear.
Pure fear.
He rushed forward, kneeling beside him.
“Tae! Hey— hey, wake up…”
He tapped his cheeks lightly.
“Tae… baby… open your eyes…”
No response.
Jungkook’s breathing became uneven.
Namjoon stepped in quickly.
“What happened?”
“He just...he fainted...I..” Jin’s voice shook.
“Take him to the guest room,” Namjoon said immediately.
“I’ll call the doctor.”
Jungkook didn’t waste a second.
He lifted Taehyung into his arms..
bridal style.
Like he was something fragile.
Something he might lose.
“Tae… …”
He whispered, voice breaking.
Guest Room
Jungkook laid him down carefully on the bed.
His hands still shaking.
“Tae… please…”
He brushed his hair back.
“Don’t do this…”
Meanwhile.
Namjoon was already on call.
“Yes, it’s urgent. Please come quickly.”
Jin
Jin stood near the door.
Frozen.
Breathing uneven.
Everything spinning.
Too much.
Too fast.
“…baby…”
He whispered softly to himself.
And slowly,
Jin slipped.
Back into his little space.
End Scene
Two breaking hearts.
One hidden truth.
And a storm,
Just beginning.
The room felt suffocating.
Silent.
Heavy.
Taehyung still lay unconscious on the bed…
his breathing soft, uneven.
Jungkook stood beside him.
Frozen.
The doctor checked him carefully.
A few seconds.
Then—
A pause.
“…He’s Three weeks pregnant.”
Time stopped.
Jungkook didn’t react.
Didn’t move.
Didn’t even blink.
Namjoon stiffened.
Jin’s eyes widened slightly.
The doctor continued calmly, writing something on a slip.
“He’s weak. Stress and emotional instability caused the fainting.”
He handed the prescription...
To Jungkook.
“As his husband, make sure he takes these on time.”
Jungkook took the paper.
Mechanically.
Like a machine.
No expression.
No reaction.
Just,
Shock.
The doctor left.
Silence filled the room again.
Thicker now.
Heavier.
Time Skip
Minutes passed.
Or maybe hours.
No one knew.
Taehyung slowly stirred.
His fingers twitched.
Eyes fluttering open.
“…Koo…”
His voice was weak.
Barely there.
Jungkook was sitting on the floor beside the bed.
Head slightly tilted up.
Eyes fixed on him.
Cold.
Empty.
Unreadable.
Taehyung blinked slowly.
Trying to understand.
Trying to process.
“Koo…?”
He lifted his hand weakly.
Small grabby motions.
Silent request.
Pick me up…
Jungkook didn’t move immediately.
Just stared.
Then ,
Slowly...
He stood up.
And sat beside Taehyung.
Not touching him.
Not holding him.
Just… there.
“You didn’t tell me.”
His voice was hollow.
Flat.
Taehyung froze.
Everything came crashing back.
The fainting.
The conversation.
The truth.
“…You know…”
His lips parted slightly.
Two weeks.
Jungkook’s eyes didn’t leave his face.
“You didn’t tell me.”
Again.
Same tone.
Same emptiness.
Taehyung’s breathing became uneven.
“I—I can explain…”
He reached for Jungkook’s hand.
Desperately.
But..
Jungkook pulled his hand back.
Sharp.
“You didn’t tell me!”
This time ,
His voice rose.
Cracked.
Filled with something darker.
Taehyung flinched.
Tears instantly filling his eyes.
“I was scared—”
His voice broke.
“I didn’t know how to tell you..
Jungkook laughed.
A hollow, disbelieving laugh.
“Scared?”
He stood up abruptly.
Running a hand through his hair.
“You were scared?”
He turned to him.
Eyes burning now.
“And what about me, Taehyung?”
His voice shook.
Anger.
Hurt.
Something deeper.
“You hid this from me for THREE WEEKS?”
Tae’s tears fell freely now.
“I didn’t want you to hate it…”
A whisper.
Broken.
That made Jungkook freeze.
“…Hate it?”
His voice dropped again.
“I saw your face that day…”
Tae cried.
His voice trembled violently.
“You were relieved…”
Jungkook froze.
“ I know You don’t want the baby…”
Tears spilled down.
“I didn’t want you to hate it… or feel like it’s a mistake…”
His breathing became uneven.
“I thought… if I hide it… if I go away for some time… maybe…”
His voice shattered.
“Maybe you won’t have to face it…”
Silence.
Heavy.
Crushing.
And then—
Jungkook moved.
Slowly.
Carefully.
He laid down beside Taehyung.
Pulled him gently...
Into his chest.
Taehyung froze.
Jungkook tucked his face into his neck.
Holding him tightly.
Like he was afraid
He’d disappear.
Then Jungkook held his chin, and kissed him, passionately
Then a peck
On his hair.
“Darling…”
His voice broke.
“Nothing is like that…”
Taehyung didn’t move.
Didn’t speak.
Jungkook took a shaky breath.
“You know… when Mumma and Jin hyung got into that accident…”
“…I was 19…”
His voice trembled.
“Just 19, Tae…”
Taehyung’s fingers slowly curled into his shirt.
“Appa was at the reception… handling everything…”
“And hyung…”
His breath hitched.
“…his head was badly injured…”
A pause.
Painful.
“The doctor said… he might lose his memories… or… slip into little space…”
Taehyung’s eyes filled again.
“And Mumma, she was fighting , barely taking her last breath…”
His voice broke completely now.
“…Mumma held my hand and told me…”
“‘Take care of your hyung…’”
A tear slipped from Jungkook’s eyes.
“‘Always keep him your priority…’”
Silence.
“I did everything, Tae…”
“I protected him… stayed with him… played with him when he slipped…”
His grip tightened around Taehyung.
“Before I met you… my world was just him…”
Taehyung’s breathing slowed.
Listening.
“When Namjoon hyung said he wanted to marry Jin hyung…”
“I didn’t agree…”
A small, broken chuckle.
“But then…”
“I saw you…”
Taehyung’s heart skipped.
“The way you loved him…”
“The way you never complained… not even once…”
Jungkook’s voice softened.
“I thought… if you can love my hyung like that…”
“…then Namjoon hyung will love him even more, after all he is your brother, and knows about hyung's condition already…”
A pause.
“So I agreed.”
Silence filled the room again.
Then..
Jungkook lifted his head slightly.
Looked at Taehyung.
Eyes full of regret.
“Tae…”
“I never thought… you’d think like that…”
His hand cupped Taehyung’s face.
Shaking.
“I love you more than myself…”
Tears fell freely now.
“Don’t ever think I don’t want you… or our baby…”
His voice cracked badly.
“Yes… I wanted hyung to settle first…”
“But that doesn’t mean I didn’t want us…”
He pressed his forehead against Taehyung’s.
“I never meant to hurt you…”
His shoulders shook.
“In the process of being a good brother…”
His voice dropped.
Barely a whisper.
“I became a bad husband…”
A tear fell onto Taehyung’s cheek.
“…and the worst father…”
“I’m sorry…”
Silence.
But this time..
It wasn’t empty.
It was filled with pain
Jungkook’s voice faded into silence.
But his arms...
Still held Taehyung tightly.
Like he was scared to let go.
For a moment,
Taehyung didn’t react.
Didn’t move.
Didn’t speak.
Just… listened.
Every word.
Every crack in Jungkook’s voice.
Every hidden pain.
And then,
His lips trembled.
“You… idiot…”
A broken whisper.
Jungkook froze.
Taehyung pushed him slightly..
Just enough to look at him.
Eyes red.
Face wet.
Completely shattered.
“You really think… you’re the worst father…?”
His voice shook.
Jungkook couldn’t answer.
“You think… I was scared because of you…?”
Another tear slipped down.
He shook his head.
“I was scared because I love you…”
His voice broke completely now.
“So much…”
Jungkook’s breath hitched.
“I saw that one moment…”
Tae continued, struggling to speak.
“And I made it my whole reality…”
A weak, pained laugh.
“I didn’t even give you a chance to explain…”
His hands slowly reached for Jungkook’s shirt.
Clutching it tightly.
“I was so happy when I found out…”
A tear fell.
“I wanted to tell you immediately…”
His lips quivered harder.
“But then I remembered your face…”
“And I…”
His voice disappeared.
“I got scared…”
Silence.
“I thought…”
A whisper.
“If I tell you… you’ll feel trapped…”
Jungkook shook his head instantly.
“No—”
“Shut up, listen to me…”
Tae cut him off softly.
“You explained everything…”
His thumb gently wiped Jungkook’s tears.
“You were just trying to be a good brother…”
A pause.
“But you forgot…”
A small, broken smile.
“You’re already an amazing husband…”
Jungkook’s eyes widened.
“And now…”
Tae slowly placed Jungkook’s hand on his stomach.
“…you’re going to be a father too…”
Jungkook froze.
His hand trembled under Tae’s.
There was nothing visible yet.
Nothing physical.
But still..
It felt real.
Too real.
“Our baby…”
Tae whispered.
Jungkook’s lips parted.
Tears fell silently.
“I don’t want a perfect life…”
Tae continued softly.
“I just want you…”
His voice steadied.
“And this baby…”
Jungkook broke.
He pulled Taehyung into a tight embrace.
Hiding his face in his neck.
“I want it…”
He whispered desperately.
“I want this baby…”
Tae froze for a second—
Then melted.
“I want our baby…”
Jungkook repeated, voice shaking.
“I don’t care if it’s planned or not…”
His grip tightened.
“I just want you both safe…”
Tae let out a shaky breath.
Relief.
Finally.
“I was so scared…”
He whispered.
“I know…”
Jungkook kissed his hair.
“I’m sorry I made you feel that way…”
“You better be…”
Tae sniffed softly.
A small silence.
Then
“…Kookie?”
Tae whispered.
“Hm?”
“You won’t leave me… right?”
Jungkook immediately pulled back.
Held his face firmly.
“Never.”
A pause.
“Not you.”
Another.
“Not our baby.”
And then...
He leaned forward.
Pressed a soft, lingering kiss on Tae’s forehead.
Jin was in his little space.
Curled softly in Namjoon’s lap.
Head resting against his chest… fingers playing with the buttons of his shirt.
Namjoon’s hand moved gently through his hair.
Slow. Comforting.
“Baby…”
His voice was soft.
Jin hummed lightly.
“What was big Jin and Tae talking about…?”
Namjoon asked carefully.
Jin lifted his head slightly.
Eyes soft. Innocent.
“Taetae was crying…”
He mumbled in a baby tone.
“He said Kookie doesn’t love him the most…”
Namjoon’s hand stilled.
Jin continued, unaware of the shift—
“He said Kookie didn’t want baby…”
A small pout.
“And Taetae got scared…”
Namjoon’s jaw tightened.
“He said he’ll go to Jimin’s house… hide small baby…”
Jin added softly.
Silence.
Dangerous.
Namjoon’s eyes darkened.
Jin leaned back into him again.
“Dada… Taetae was really sad…”
He whispered.
That was enough.
Namjoon carefully lifted Jin in his arms.
“Stay with me.”
Namjoon walked straight to the guest room.
Anger building with every step.
He pushed the door open..
And stopped.
Taehyung.
Jungkook.
Sleeping.
Curled into each other.
Taehyung’s face buried in Jungkook’s chest.
Jungkook’s arm protectively wrapped around him.
Peaceful.
Like nothing had happened.
Namjoon’s grip tightened slightly around Jin.
He exhaled slowly.
Closed the door.
Not now.
Evening
The house was quiet again.
Soft light filled the living room.
Namjoon sat on the couch.
Jin beside him—still small, leaning into his side.
Footsteps echoed.
Taehyung and Jungkook walked out of the guest room.
Slowly.
The moment Namjoon saw Jungkook..
Something snapped.
In one swift move...
He stood up.
Walked straight toward him.
And grabbed his collar.
Hard.
“Hyung—?!” Jungkook stumbled.
Namjoon’s eyes were blazing.
“What the hell is wrong with you?!”
His voice thundered.
Taehyung froze instantly.
“What kind of behavior is that?!”
Namjoon’s grip tightened.
Jungkook blinked, shocked.
“Hyung, what—”
“You don’t want Taehyung?!”
Namjoon snapped.
“Or the baby?!”
Silence.
Heavy.
Deadly.
Taehyung’s breath hitched.
Jungkook’s eyes widened.
“What are you saying—”
“I know everything , you want to leave my brother when he is carrying a part of you both inside him, DON'T YOU DARE JEON.”
Namjoon cut him off.
Cold.
“You made him think he’s a burden.”
His voice dropped.
Dangerously low.
“You made him think your own child is unwanted.”
Jungkook went still.
“I didn’t—”
“Then why was he planning to run away?!”
Namjoon shouted.
That..
Hit.
Jungkook’s face fell.
Taehyung stepped forward quickly.
“Hyung— please..”
But Namjoon didn’t let go.
“You had one job.”
His voice shook with anger.
“To protect him.”
A pause.
“And you broke him instead.”
Jungkook’s hands slowly clenched.
“I would never..”
“Then act like it!”
Namjoon snapped.
Silence filled the room.
Jin tugged lightly at Namjoon’s sleeve.
“Dada…”
A small voice.
Namjoon’s grip loosened slightly.
Jungkook didn’t move.
Didn’t fight back.
Because deep down...
He knew.
He had hurt him.
Taehyung stepped between them now.
Hands trembling.
“Stop…”
His voice was soft.
Weak.
Both men froze.
Tae looked at Namjoon.
Eyes pleading.
“He didn’t mean it…”
A whisper.
Then he turned to Jungkook.
“I know he didn’t…”
Tears welled up again.
“Please… don’t fight…”
Because he couldn’t handle it.
“Please… don’t fight…”
Taehyung’s trembling voice cut through the tension.
Everything stilled.
Namjoon’s grip loosened completely.
Jungkook stepped back slightly.
Breathing uneven.
Tae looked at both of them...
Then slowly… painfully…
He spoke.
“He didn’t mean it, hyung…”
His voice was soft.
“But… I misunderstood…”
Jungkook’s eyes flickered toward him.
“He told me everything…”
Tae continued, wiping his tears.
“About the accident… about Jin hyung… about how he promised his mom…”
Namjoon’s expression changed.
“He wasn’t choosing between me and hyung…”
Tae whispered.
“He was just… trying to protect both…”
Silence.
Heavy… but calmer.
Namjoon looked at Jungkook.
For a moment..
Nothing.
Then..
He stepped forward.
And pulled Jungkook into a hug.
“I’m sorry…”
Namjoon muttered quietly.
Jungkook froze.
“I shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions…”
Namjoon sighed.
For a second...
Jungkook didn’t react.
Then slowly.
He hugged him back.
“It’s okay, hyung…”
His voice was tired.
Soft.
“I understand…”
A small pause.
“You love Tae… as much as I love Jin hyung…”
Namjoon’s grip tightened slightly.
“I get why you were angry…”
Jungkook added quietly.
Then...
He froze.
Pulled back slightly.
Brows furrowing.
“…But how did you know?”
Namjoon blinked.
“Know what?”
“All this…”
Jungkook’s voice sharpened a little.
A pause.
“…Jin told me.”
Silence.
Jungkook turned his head slowly.
Toward Jin.
Jin on the couch playing with the hem of his sleeves...quietly.
Small.
Calm.
Then Jungkook looked back at Namjoon.
Confusion deepening.
“Hyung…”
His voice dropped.
“Jin hyung has been in his little space since Tae fainted…”
Namjoon stilled.
Jungkook’s eyes narrowed slightly.
“…then how did he remember everything Tae told him before that?”
Silence.
A strange one.
Not loud.
Not heavy.
But unsettling.
Namjoon’s gaze slowly shifted toward Jin.
Jin just blinked.
Innocently.
Tilting his head slightly.
“Dada…?”
He called softly.
But now...
Something didn’t feel the same.
Not to Jungkook.
Because little Jin…
Shouldn’t remember that much.
Something was off.
Something unnoticed.
Something deeper—
Than they thought.
Next Morning
Sunlight filtered softly into the dining area.
Everything looked… normal.
Almost too normal.
Taehyung sat on Jungkook's lap, quiet but calmer now.
Namjoon was already seated.
Jin came a moment later...
Fully normal.
No little space.
No baby-like softness.
Just… Jin.
“Good morning,” Jin smiled lightly, taking his seat.
Jungkook watched him.
Closely.
Carefully.
Something was still bothering him.
“Hyung…”
Jungkook spoke suddenly.
Jin looked up.
“Hm?”
A pause.
“Do you… remember everything when you fall into your little space?”
Silence.
Jin blinked.
Confused.
“What… do you mean?”
Namjoon’s eyes flickered.
Jungkook leaned forward slightly.
“Like… yesterday. Do you remember what you and Tae talked about?”
Jin frowned.
Thinking.
Trying to recall.
“…Yes?”
He said slowly, anger bubbling up as he looked at jungkook.
“I remember how he made tae feel unwanted "
Silence.
That confirmed it.
Namjoon exhaled quietly.
“Joon?” Jin looked at him now.
“What’s going on?”
Namjoon hesitated for a moment.
Then...
He spoke.
“Yesterday… after Tae fainted…”
“You slipped into your little space.”
Jin stiffened slightly.
“And when I asked you what happened…”
Namjoon continued, voice calm.
“…you told me everything.”
Jin’s eyes widened.
“I… what?”
Jungkook leaned back slightly.
Watching.
Waiting.
“That’s when I realised something…”
Namjoon said slowly.
The room grew quieter.
“Your mature self…”
He looked at Jin.
“…doesn’t remember what happens when you’re in your little space.”
Jin’s fingers tightened around his spoon.
“But your little space self…”
Namjoon continued.
“…remembers everything.”
Silence.
Taehyung’s breath hitched slightly.
Jungkook’s expression hardened just a little.
Namjoon’s voice dropped softer now.
“Everything that happens when you’re normal…”
“…your little self knows it too.”
Jin froze.
His mind tried to process it.
“Then that means…”
Jungkook muttered slowly.
Namjoon nodded.
“Yes.”
A pause.
“Even if I’m intimate to Jin…”
Namjoon said carefully.
“When he’s fully aware…”
His gaze shifted to Jin.
“…his little space side will remember it too.”
Silence.
Heavy.
Jin’s face slowly lost color.
“So… I…”
His voice trembled slightly.
“…my little space knows everything… ?”
Namjoon didn’t answer immediately.
Because the answer...
Was obvious.
Taehyung looked down.
Processing his own fears.
Jungkook clenched his jaw slightly.
And Jin—
Sat there.
Still.
Trying to understand something about himself—
He never knew before.
