Chapter 1
A new place
"Welcome to my realm",
something says, the voice introduces itself as Arceus. It talkes a bit until it says: "it's time for you to go...seek out all pokemon"
With that a young boy finds himself waking up to the sound of a worried voice.
"Wake up", "oh you're finally waking up i was kinda worried you'd be dead."
The young boy stands up cautiously, scanning the new area.
Where am I? Whose that? And what happend? No i need to calm down for now and find out more first.
"No don't worry, i won't die so easily" I joked to ease the tension and to calm my selfe aswell.
"Well it's a good thing you seem unharmed, gave me quite the scare when you fell from the sky you know."
"Who are you" I ask him wanting to atleast know who I'm talking to.
"I'd like to ask you the same, you fell out of the sky, i mean who does that!" "And you have have very odd clothing, You wouldn't happen to have an acquaintance around here would you?"
He seems nice enough for now, but I still don't fully trust him.
"I"..wait what do i even say, do I just lie?
"I don't remember" Now this isn't true but it doesn't hurt him either so i guess it's fine.
"Well if you don't remember than you probably don't have a place to stay either do you?"
I shake my head not knowing what to say to that.
"I see, well I can't just abandon you here." Also My name is Laventon, I'm somewhat of a pokemon professor."
He's a Professor just like gramps, and he seems nice enough, guess that will have to do for now. Still this is all so weird. Oh right I should probably introduce myself as well now.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Gary." i say trying to be polite.
Suddenly the pokemon that were standing beside him start to move and run away. "Quick after them!" the professor shouts and I follow
As I'm walking towards the pokemon, I notice something glowing and stop to investigate it.
Huh whats that?
I pick up somthing that seems to resemble a phone but it's schape is weird and kinda reminds me of something.
What a weird phone, but why is it here in the first place?
*beep*
What was that???
I look at the phone and it now shows a message saying: "I bestow you this Arc phone and the mission to seek out all pokemon."
What me? I mean seeking out all pokemon isn't really a bad thing since i'm a researcher anyways but why now? And why me? Too many questions and to little answers. First I need to find out where i am, then I can think about the rest. Why aren't my pokemon with me, NO focus Gary focus, you can ask yourselfe that later.
I walk towards the anxious looking professor.
"Professor whats wrong?"
"Ah you see, I've been trying to catch these pokemon but I'm not the best with pokeballs." "Do you wanna try?"
He holds out a Ball that seems to resemble a pokeball.
Hold on that's a pokeball, but it looks ancient! I have a suspicion i might have traveled back in time but i'm not sure yet. Also I should probably help this man.
I take the pokeball and skillfully catch all three pokemon, while professor Laventon talks about them. Nothing I don't already know though.
I give the pokemon back to the Professor.
"Thank you for your help, these pokemon just arrived and don't really listen to anyone, so i don't know what i would have done without you."
Atleast he's thankful, but i have a feeling that there's more to it.
"You see i have a dream, a dream to collect as much data about pokemon in a catalogue we call pokedex."
A pokedex! He wants me to fill out a pokedex??? I don't know how to feel about that especially since i might just be in a different time entirely. But it does work well with my mission and my work, might make some use of this.
"Sure I'll do it" i reply serious.
"Thanks alot in advance, Now lets go to the village I mentiont earlier."
As I walk alongside him I notice that he looks happier than before. Guess I'm not such a failure afterall.
We finally arrive at the entrance of the village and I couldn't be more nervous. An entired village full of people I don't know. One can only hope that everything turns out fine in the end.
