1.) The first meeting.
You saw So'lek for the first time when you came to the resistance, he didn't really care at first, not like he he hasn't seen any new humans in here. I mean this place was full of them, who would care at this point? He didn't walk up to meet you, greet you, no this was not in his style. He just stayed in his spot working on his bow or maybe cleaning his guns. You haven't noticed him at firts too if youre honest, you were busy meeting others that did come up to you or you just easily stumbled upon while exploring the hideout, you didn't really want to meet with everyone but Alma said you should for the good first impression, tho you had an impression that everyone didn't wanna meet you, but maybe that's just you... Well even if they did want or didn't it didn't matter now cuz you talked at least a little with everyone - or so you thought... After settling down and walking back down to where most of the people and Na'vis were sitting you also sat down on a quite nice looking hammoc happy to be there, ever since you were shipped to Pandora you knew you were on the wrong side - on rdas side. It was so wrong, it felt wrong. It looked wrong. It is wrong. And you wanted to srop it, very badly. At first you ddidn't put much though to it, they were here so we could have another planet to live on, they were doing humans a favour. They said Pandora would be better than earth and that we will not damage it... But oh boy were they lying, lying so badly. After a few short years in the rda you noticed it. You saw it all, the black market, the machines draining life from Pandora, everything they did on earth, they're doing here. It was not what you wanted for another planet to be like... It couldn't look like this. While you were in your own head thinking about everything and nothing at all suddelny you realised something or rather someone, sitting all alone in a corner, they looked like a Na'vi, but maybe it was an avatar? He was mostly dressed in human armour, at least on his chest. But no, after closer inspection it was not an avatar, it was indeed an another Na'vi. You haven't meet him yet, at least you don't think so, you don't remember talking to him. And that's rude - ain't it? You talked with everyone you could but not him, what if he figured it out and felt left out? Well since you didn't want to make a bad first impression you walked over to the Na'vi hoping that you were not mistaken, cuz talking about your name twice with the same person felt awkward and embarassing, very embarassing. At first he didn't even look up at you, didn't acnowledge you at all really, like he was deaf? maybe he was? Oh that would be a diseaster then... But after standing next to him for an awkward while he finally looked at you, uninterested, really he looked like he was gonna fall asleep by just looking at you. Were you that boring? Well you oped not. The first few words were only coming from you, then he responded. But in Na'vi. Like he didn't wanna talk... Well damn. You didn't know the language really so you just looked at him like a moron trying to understand if he knew english or not, it didn;t take long because So'lek, to get rid of you from his tail, responded with his name and then turned his attention back to what he was doing, he needed to be ready, you never know when the next fight will occur. I to could be in a few secons, he didn't wanna take any risks of not being prepared. You on the other hand walked away from the na'vi a little confused but also half proud, well you made an acheivment and got the guys name. Even if it was the most awkward and weird exchange of words you have ever had.
2.) His first impression of you.
It wasn't hate, but its not like he liked you instantly, at first he was just neutral about you. You were just another human in the rq, nothing new or spectacular that he hasn't seen yet. Humans are something he sees everyday, it's not that weird to see one nowdays. Your name sounded similar to the ones he heard already, it was just normal for him. You were gonna work here so he will probably see you sometimes, but that was all. he didn't want any closer relationship with you, knowing your name was more than enough for him, especially that he didn't really wanna walk up to you to ask it. It did feel weird, no other human really just walked up to him like you did, most just walked around him or he could smeel how hesitant they were. He was quite big and maybe intimitading, sure, but that was a bit exessive ever for him- Not like he was gonna rip their lungs out just because they talked to him. Most of the people did get used to him, but every new human acts the same, like he's something to avoid. Which he is not, never really was. I mean he's not the nicest and most welcoming in here but he is not, by any means, a monster and full of hate either. Sure he had his own weird ways with meeting people but it was not THAT bad. I mean he did meet some people, for example Priya... Or even Alma. Yeah maybe he doesn't have a lot of friends but it doesn't mean anything, not like he wants to have them... I mean. maybe he does. But he just doesn't want to feel the pain of loss and griev again so he doesn't want to have really close friendships, it's no point in these times. Especially in these times. Everyone could be dead in a second, and then what, he's left with an ache in his chest again, useless... Not worth it. But yeah it did feel weird that you walked up yo him like you were talking with someone your size and at least to an old friend. It was kinda interesting too, even if it looked like he was bored just by you getting close to him. It was intriguing even. maybe because it was not common for him, maybe because he dodn't expect you to be like that. Well... You thought he wasn't observing you from his little spot as you moved arounf the HQ. Of course he did, his pupils were on you almost all the time even if he was pretending to do something completly different, it didn't matter. You were something new, and he was curious. He loved watching, especially when you didn't know it was happening. The way you moved and looked while talking with everyone, you looked shy, maybe even unhappy that you were socialising. So when you walked up to him too it was unexpected to say the least. He was sure you were just gonna skip a few people, him counting in. But he was wrong I guess. To say the least he was thrown off by you, he just tried to get you off of his tail by talking in his language but after it didn't work he was even more intrigued. No he was not excited or anything, it was just something interesting to him. But not so unusual that he was gonna start jumping up and down or something- That's for sure.
3.) Your first mission with him.
It was not intentional, you were out on the field fighting some rda that were problematic for the resistance and then he showed up, you don't know why or how, the mission was not that hard, there was not a lot of rda, it seemed easy. After you got rid of everyone that shouldn't be here you looked over at solek raising your brow. What did he need that he came into the battlefielrd? Did something happen? Was someone dead? Is the hq okey? After he composed himself he looked over at you and informed you the hq needed to move to a diff place cuz rda started circling too much around the place we were at now and it was too dangerous to stay at least for now. Were you happy? No. Not at all. You were forced to move again. The clouded forest was meant to be safe. I mean humans didn't reallycome here due to the yawa and all, so why? There was no answer to that. No one knew. Both you, So'lek and many others were send to help the resistance pack and to fight off all the rda that might follow them while moving so the hq won't be found quickly. It was hard due to all the helicopters and people on ground but after sometime you found a place where you could stay safely. At least for now. So'lek didn't say much during the whole thing to you, you both were too busy fighting and protecting others to talk. You wanted to ask him why he came to say it, why not Tamtey as always, or maybe someone else. It was weird, he never came to tell you these thing, you never talked, maybe sometimes a small greet but never this. Maybe Priya made him? Who knows, you will ask sometime later after everything calms down.
