Work Text:
I don’t understand people. Their will to be great or their lack of purpose. Why would you want to stand out? Why let yourself fall to nothing? Another thing I’ve never understood is why other people feel the need to make meaningless conversation about something that isn’t at all relevant. Will the the five minutes you spent talking with your co-worker positively affect your life in the future. If so, why? The need to always be around or touching someone else. Why? Why? I don't understand. I rarely, if ever feel the need to touch another person let alone go out of my way to do it. Is that weird? And while we're on the topic - what is ‘weird’? Because someone else's normal could be someone else's weird. And what makes something 'normal'? Culture? Upbringing? It very rarely is the same. Who gets to define either one? It doesn’t make sense to me - was it ever supposed to?
