Stiles tossed his packed bag on the bed and promptly collapsed face down right beside it. He groaned loudly and dramatically before turning around, and glaring at Derek, though his eyes lacked any real heat behind it. Derek rolled his eyes, completely used to Stiles’ antic by now and picked up the tossed bag.
“I told you we should’ve flown in instead of driving but noooo, you insisted on a road trip. ‘It would be fun Stiles’ you said, ‘We’ll get to spend so much time together’ and so many other lies. I never should’ve trusted your furry ass on this.” Stiles complained and sat up on the bed. Their entire road trip had been a complete and utter disaster to put it mildly. The car had broken down twice before giving out completely. They had to get it towed to the nearest town and leave it there with plans to get it back when returning. Then the cab they’d booked for the rest of their trip had arrived a full three hours late and at this point both of them were tired and snapping at each other unintentionally. To make matters worse, their cab had also broken down about five hours outside of Beacon Hills. They had to walk, with all of their luggage, to the nearest town. There, they found out that the earliest next bus to Beacon Hills was in two hours. Thankfully it was nearing dinner time so Stiles and Derek dragged their luggage and their exhausted selves to the nearest diner to collapse in.
They reached Beacon Hills at 2 a.m. Thankfully Melissa was working late and had agreed to pick them up at the bus port. Now, back at Derek’s loft, they were both completely exhausted. After putting Stiles’ bag away, Derek joined him on the bed. Stiles was still glaring at Derek, though his eyes were drooping a little, the events of the day catching up to him. Derek rested his head on the pillow, grabbed Stiles’ wrist and pulled him into a sleeping position as well, head resting on Derek’s chest. Derek wrapped his arm around Stiles’ shoulder and pressed a kiss to his head.
“Sleep mischief. Yell tomorrow.” Derek murmured, already half asleep.

The next morning, Derek woke up with Stiles, almost completely sprawled on Derek rather than the bed. Derek smiled to himself, and gently shimmied himself out from under Stiles. He checked the clock and realized it was 10 in the morning. They had to be at the sheriff’s house for lunch at around 1. They had plenty of time to do the things Derek was planning out in his head. Something that would definitely put Stiles in a much better mood than yesterday. Derek turned to his side and cuddled in behind Stiles’ back. He pressed soft kisses along the nape of his neck. He could hear Stiles’ heartbeat fluttering. He’d wake up soon. He slipped his hand under Stiles’ t-shirt and ran it up and down his torso. He trailed kisses along his neck and down his shoulder. Stiles was almost awake now. He turned to face Derek and slowly opened his eyes. He smiled sleepily and leaned in to press a quick kiss to Derek’s lips. He murmurs a quick “Morning” before Derek is gently pushing him to lay flat on his back. Derek straddled him in a quick motion and buried his face in Stiles’ neck again, leaving soft kisses and gentle nips. Stiles lets out a content huff and moves his hand to Derek’s hair. Derek trailed down with his kisses, as far as he could go within the confines of Stiles’ t-shirt and then pulled away.
Derek leaned in and brushed his lips softly against Stiles'. He pulled Stiles’ shirt up and briefly paused their kiss to take it off completely. He slowly trailed kisses down Stiles’ neck and torso, stopping to tease his left nipple. He kissed and nipped just the way he knew would get Stiles bothered. He moved to the other nipple, to make sure he gave attention equally. After a bit, when he knew Stiles was now fully awake and writhing under him, he moved further down, peppering kisses along his stomach. He used his other hand to palm at Stiles’ crotch through his pants. Stiles moaned and carded his fingers through Derek's hair and grasped the sheet with his other.
Derek was about to unzip Stiles’ pants with his teeth when they heard a loud gasp. Stiles scrambled to get up. Derek got off Stiles and turned around to find Scott, Erica, Lydia, Boyd, Jackson, Kira, Liam, Theo, Malia, Isaac and Ethan standing by the sliding doors in various degrees of shock, surprise and confusion. Derek mentally slaps the back of his own head, chiding himself for being so lost that he didn't hear any of them pull up, or get into the loft, or even open the door to their room. Then he wondered how the hell they got into the loft, much less their room.
“How the fuck did you all get in?” Derek asked, mildly annoyed at having his morning ruined.
“Your loft was unlocked, so was your door. Did you forget to lock it?” Lydia was the first to shake herself out of her surprise.
“You forgot to lock the doors?!” Stiles exclaimed and glared at Derek. “It's like you're asking to get robbed.”
“I was exhausted and busy carrying ALL of our luggage Stiles.” Derek threw Stiles’ shirt at him, silently asking him to get dressed.
He got off the bed and gestured for everyone to leave the room and go out into the living room. Stiles put on his T-shirt and followed them. Derek went to the kitchen to start a pot of coffee and Stiles followed the pack to the couches. Just as they'd all settled down, Scott stood up abruptly, seemingly finally having found his bearings and mouth.
“What the fuck?!” Scott asked in confusion. Stiles himself was confused about what Scott was so worked up over.
“What?” Stiles asked. Just then, Derek walked in carrying two mugs of coffee. He sat down next to Stiles and handed one of the mugs over.
“This!” Scott pointed at Stiles and Derek. Derek took a sip of his coffee and willed the powers of caffeine gods to give him strength. Stiles scrunched up his forehead, still confused.
“This what?!” Stiles set his mug down on the side table, to make sure he didn't spill.
“I think he's talking about you and Derek.” Lydia, the life saver, finally put both the best friends out of their miseries. But, it made Stiles even more confused. What about him and Derek?
“What about me and Derek? Honestly what the fuck are you talking about? You ruined a perfectly good morning and now whatever this is, is happening.. What's going on?” Stiles huffed in frustration and leaned back into the couch. Derek rested a hand on Stiles’ knee.
“This!” Isaac pointed at Derek's hand. “You and Derek! In bed! When did that happen?” Stiles still didn't understand what they were all so worked up about. What was so surprising about making out with his boyfriend, of two years mind you, in their own room.
“When did what happen? Honestly, what are you guys so surprised about? I can't make out with my boyfriend in my own room?” Stiles took a sip of his coffee and set it back down on the table. Derek, meanwhile, was enjoying whatever was going on. His morning may have been ruined but things were suddenly looking up again. He realized none of them knew he and Stiles had been seeing each other. He couldn't help letting out a chuckle behind his mug. The chuckle turned to a laugh. Stiles looked at him with a questioning look.
“I don't think they knew we were together.” Derek finally said the words. “Wh-.. huh? How?” Stiles was kind of speechless now. How did they not know? They haven't been hiding or anything.
“How do you all not know? We've been together for two years now for fucks sake! We live together!” Stiles held up his hands in frustration.
“We didn't know that! We didn't know any of that! When did you get together, why didn't you tell us?” Scott asked.
“I thought you knew!” Stiles exclaimed. “It's not like we've been trying to hide it. We both live in the same city, we both come here together every damn time Scotty, he's stayed at my house! Dad calls him son! Did none of that give it away? What about the times you call me and Derek answers the phone?”
“I thought the sheriff called him son in a pack way. He calls all of us sons! And I thought Derek was just visiting you whenever he picked up the phone. I didn't think you lived together! I didn't expect this at all. I still can't believe it.” Scott sat down, trying to process everything.
“Lydia, Jackson and Ethan, all of you owe me twenty bucks.” Erica said. She smirked at all three of their irritated faces.
“You knew?!” Scott asked. Erica shrugged. “I wasn't sure but I had a hunch, so did these three, figured it would be a hilarious bet. I'm so glad about it now though. Thank you for winning me sixty bucks.” Erica sent a flying kiss towards Stiles and Derek.
Derek had finished his coffee and stood up. He put away his mug in the sink and returned to the couch. He sat down, closer this time, back next to Stiles and wrapped an arm around his shoulder.
“Not that this hasn't been a very interesting morning, why are all of you here exactly?” Derek asked as Stiles leaned into Derek's side.
“We wanted to get a pack breakfast before lunch.” Ethan answered.
“They had their breakfast figured out already though.” Jackson snickered. Ethan shoved his shoulder lightly.
Stiles levelled Jackson with a blank stare. “You guys go ahead to the diner, we'll meet you there.” Derek said.
“Gonna have your own breakfast first then?” It was Theo this time, a smirk on his face. Stiles rolled his eyes and stood up.
“Get out all of you. We'll get ready and see you there.” With that, Stiles grabbed Derek's hand and dragged him back to the bedroom. When Derek was sure all of them had left, and the cars had pulled away, he pushed Stiles against the door into a passionate kiss.
“You're finishing what you started Hale.” Stiles said and pushed Derek towards the bed.
