Fan POV
Lightbulb and Paintbrush have liked each other for a while; I knew it, Test Tube knew it, EVERYBODY knew it, except for them. I honestly couldn't wrap my mind around it, especially with how obvious Lightbulb made her affection known! And sure– MAYBE I haven't been the most... observent of Test Tubes hints, but atleast we eventually got together! Paintbrush and Lightbulb have been like this SEVEN YEARS!!! So, Test Tube and I came up with a plan to try and get the two together. (Or- rather, I came up with a plan, Test Tube agreed to watch.)
It was simple, write two different notes using Paintbrush and Lightbulbs writing styles (which I know how to copy for perfectly normal reasons!) asking to meet outside later tonight (A/N: roughly around 9:30), slide the notes under their doors, write on my blog to pass the time, and when the time arrives observe the interaction through a window! The only problem was figuring out how to make Paintbrush's note romantical. From what I've seen, Paintbrush doesn't flirt, they usually show their affection for people through actions rather than words. Which (while being very sweet!) Makes my job a whole lot harder. Maybe I could add a small drawing on the note, Paintbrush's style is somewhat easy to replicate– is that rude to think? Wait, what was I thinking about again? Oh right, the notes...
Third person POV
After around an hour Fan finally finished writing the notes, making Test tube proof read them before they both went to deliver the notes: Test tube leaving one at Paintbrushs door while Fan snuck off to the contesta'nt grounds to put the note in a place Lightbulb would find it. Just when Fan could barely wait any longer, the clock finally hit 9:28. When Fan noticed the time he snatched Test tube off her bed –– running out of the room without bothering to close the door, trying to find a window that had a good view of the back of the hotel so he could both watch and record.
After a few minutes Paintbrush arrived, seemingly nervous as they were repeatedly tapping their foot on ground, had their arms crossed, and were glancing around nervously. Ten minutes later Lighbulb arrived (and while hiding it better, also seemed nervous.), running over to Paintbrush with a smile.
" Painty! " Lightbulb said excitedly, giving Paintbrush a quick hug before pulling away -- giggling lightly at the light blush on their face. Fan and Test tube watched from the window as the two began talking, the conversation seemingly coming to an end as both their mouths stopped moving. After ten seconds of staring at eachother in silence Lightbulb moved closer to Paintbrush, closing the distance between the two with a quick but tender kiss.
Fan squealed as soon as kissed, while Test tube simply smiled, happy that the two of them FINALLY got together after what felt like an eternity of watching them be 'best friends'.
