Rumi
It's with Rumi when it first happens. They're both on the couch playing a board game and drinking tea; it's peaceful, and they're both relaxed.
Rumi starts talking about random things, just rambling because she's comfortable and content, and Celine unconsciously wraps a blanket around herself.
About 20 minutes later, Rumi realizes Celine hasn't said anything and looks right at her. Celine's eyes are drooping slightly; she's messing with a squishy ball and making small non-verbal noises.
Rumi can tell, even before the scent has hit her, that Celine's slipped. She gets up from her side of the couch and goes to Celine's side and immediately smells how much warmer and sweeter her scent is.
Rumi smiles as she taps Celine on the shoulder. Celine looks at her before she smiles and pulls Rumi into a hug, gently nuzzling her and scenting her.
Rumi giggles and nuzzles back before pulling away, getting up, pulling Celine up with her, and leading her to the nesting room. Rumi opens the door and Celine immediately climbs in.
Rumi gets in after, and Celine immediately hugs her again before plopping onto her back, taking Rumi with her, who giggles at the cuteness and silliness.
Rumi turns on her back, Celine nuzzling into her side and letting out happy hums and content sighs. Rumi smiles, her heart in absolute joy at the fact Celine's peaceful and has finally slipped.
Rumi takes a deep breath and slowly calls on the honmoon. She doesn't summon her sword but instead makes stars and constellations appear on the ceiling, making them move and glow.
Celine lets out an excited gasp as she looks up, cuddling Rumi as she gazes at the stars. Rumi smiles before pointing to each star and constellation, talking about them like she and Celine used to do.
Celine's eyes droop a little more, and her nuzzling slows down a bit. Rumi knows she'll fall asleep, but for now, they're content in the nest. Celine's slipped and peaceful, and Rumi feels like she won the idol awards again.
Mira
The next time Celine slips is with Mira. It's about a month after she slipped with Rumi. They're in her room, and Mira is helping with Celine's hair because she didn't know what to do with it.
Celine's sitting on the floor with Mira behind her, brushing through her hair carefully, making sure not to pull or yank it as she goes.
Mira puts the brush down and picks up a bottle of coconut-scented hair lotion, one she got after learning Celine liked coconut, and squeezes a bit into her hands.
Mira starts rubbing the lotion into Celine's hair, humming a random melody as she does so. Mira's careful and thorough, making sure she doesn't miss a strand.
After 15 minutes, Mira's satisfied with her work before reaching for the brush again but pausing. Mira sniffs and realizes Celine's scent is sweeter than it was 15 minutes ago.
Mira leans down to look at Celine's face and her eyes, along with the fact Celine's using her chew necklace, let Mira know that Celine has slipped.
Mira smiles as she picks up the brush and starts doing Celine's hair again, humming "Golden" as she does. She hears Celine giggle—actually giggle—and Mira's heart just about explodes.
Mira styles part of Celine's hair into a crown braid and puts the rest in a low ponytail. She lets out a satisfied huff and starts putting stuff away as Celine stays seated on the floor.
After Mira's done putting things away, she moves in front of Celine and holds out her hands, which Celine takes immediately, and Mira pulls her up.
Mira turns Celine around, and she immediately climbs into her bed before holding her arms out for Mira, who has to resist squealing at the sight.
Mira climbs in, and Celine immediately pulls her into a hug, nuzzling and scenting her as Mira lets out a small laugh before nuzzling back.
Mira starts humming again, and Celine lets out a happy sigh, continuing to nuzzle her. Mira makes a note to get Celine to let her do her hair more often, but for now, she's content to let Celine stay slipped and peaceful.
Zoey
Celine slips with Zoey almost two months after she does with Mira. Zoey made a bunch of snacks from America and put on a cheesy K-drama.
They're both bundled in thick, fluffy blankets, and Zoey turned the lights off, apart from the dim ones they use at night. Zoey hands Celine a chocolate, who thanks her and eats it.
They've made it through about half of the show, and Zoey is ranting about how the two protagonists really should have kissed by now and she didn't know this was a slow burn.
Zoey continues her playful ranting as the show keeps playing, before throwing some popcorn into her mouth and eating it quickly.
About 35 minutes later, Zoey notices a sweet smell and looks over at Celine, immediately noticing she was nibbling on some beef jerky.
Zoey taps Celine's shoulder, and the woman turns towards her. Celine's eyes are slightly unfocused and soft, and there's a small smile on her lips.
Zoey tries desperately not to squeal as she realizes Celine's slipped (omg, omg, it happened, cute, cute, protect at all costs, shehehe). She takes a breath to calm herself.
Zoey tilts her head, and Celine copies her. She tilts it again, and Celine copies her again. Zoey does it a few more times and giggles as Celine copies her motions.
Unable to resist, Zoey boops Celine right on the nose, Celine going cross-eyed to stare at said finger. Zoey pulls it away, giggling at Celine.
Zoey sticks her tongue out and Celine tilts her head before copying her. Zoey giggles and boops Celine's nose again, only to gasp slightly as an honest-to-honmoon giggle comes out of Celine.
Zoey's face lights up, giggling. Celine's giggling! Zoey got Celine to giggle, and her heart is absolutely melting as she watches Celine.
Zoey quickly puts on a dumb baking show that you don't really have to pay attention to before gently tackling Celine into a hug on the couch.
Celine giggles more as Zoey starts nuzzling and scenting her, Celine returning it right back, pure joy lining her scent, and Zoey feels like she won an Emmy.
Celine's not paying attention at all to the baking show, and Zoey's okay with that. Celine's slipped and happy, and Zoey is content for it to stay that way.
Huntrix
When Celine slips with all three girls present, it's a Sunday evening. Zoey's cooking in the kitchen, Mira's writing, Rumi's humming while watching a baking show, and Celine's reading in her hammock chair.
The girls have been talking about the fact Celine's slipped with all of them and how it's a good sign of her recovery, but also how she hasn't done it again since Zoey, which was three months ago.
They decided to just give it time and wait. Celine had slipped once with each of them and figured she would slip again soon, so they just waited without pushing.
It's 30 minutes later that Zoey brings out the food, and Rumi puts on a movie that they all liked watching together back when they were all training.
It's when Mira is talking about how they all managed to hide in the tree on the compound for two and a half hours that Rumi turns to look at Celine.
Celine's slowly rocking in her hammock chair, her eyes are drooping, and she's using her chew necklace. Rumi sucks in a breath as she realizes, and Mira and Zoey turn to look.
Mira gives a questioning look as Rumi nods and gets up, and Zoey smiles, trying very hard not to squeal and disrupt what is currently happening.
Rumi walks over, immediately noticing Celine's warmer and sweeter scent, and pokes Celine on the nose, who giggles, and all three girls’ faces light up at the noise.
Rumi carefully pulls Celine up from the chair and starts leading her to the nesting room as Zoey and Mira run off in different directions to get some things.
Rumi opens the door to the nesting room, and Celine goes in immediately, Rumi following right after. Celine wraps her in a hug and starts nuzzling her.
Mira and Zoey come in a few minutes later with pillows and blankets from everyone's rooms, Mira starting to arrange them as Zoey comes up next to Celine and Rumi.
Mira comes up next to them a few minutes after Celine, who had switched from nuzzling and scenting Rumi and was now doing it to Zoey instead.
And upon Celine seeing her, Mira is then scooped up to be nuzzled and scented as Zoey giggled, and Rumi smiled like she'd won the international idol awards.
Celine went back to nuzzling and scenting Rumi again, and all three girls looked at each other. Things were far from fine—certainly not great—but they were getting better one day at a time. They'd talk to Celine later about her slipping more, but for now, they were happy to let her stay like this: happy, safe, and peaceful.
