The clash of steel and whiz of arrows filled the air alongside the sound of heavy breathing and heavy footsteps. Each dodge was calculated and measured, each strike even more so.
“Surrender is a valid option, traveler. I promise I’ll be gentle,” came as a taunt when Aether missed a blow, huffing as his sword glinted off to the side when Childe deflected it. “Hah, as if. When have I ever backed down from a fight?” Each week they carved out the time to keep their skills sharp. Aether normally won, but that just made Childe want to fight him that much more.
He was just as surprised as Aether was when he landed a strike to his cheek and a kick to his ribs, sending the traveler rolling across the floor. Blood was smeared against the back of the Harbinger’s hand and dripped onto the floor, a familiar sight, but this time…
Aether smelled different. Something about his blood flooded his senses and made his pupils blow out.
The traveler was confused by the way Childe seemed to freeze, hand poised to strike but body frozen. “Childe? Are you alright? If this is a trick to get me to lower my guard it isn’t going to work.” Even if these were mostly friendly matches, he wasn’t stupid. Plus, there had been a change in their dynamic since Fontaine and he wasn’t sure where they stood right now.
Before he could really dwell, Childe closed the distance between them with a spark of electro in his step. Fast enough to startle Aether and make him drop his sword in a rookie mistake. Maybe he had been letting his guard down around the ginger recently.
Instead of an attack like he expected, though,
“Why do you… smell like that, comrade? It’s… different.” Childe gripped his chin as he spoke, turning the traveler’s head to get a better look at the blood lazily pooling at the surface. It left Aether puzzled, wondering what the harbinger could possibly be talking about. The only thing he could think of was that he hadn’t seen Childe or sparred with him since he obtained the power of Pyro.
A surprise, come to think of it.
The ginger would have fit right in, with his similar values on the importance of family, and love of fighting with a side of competition. Not that he was really thinking about that right now, he had other things to worry about.
Like the way Childe was straddling his hips, now, his weapons disappearing from view. “Hold still,” as if he was giving him a choice?? Granted, the warning made more sense when Childe leaned down and unexpectedly licked the blood from his cheek.
“Hey! What the fuck was that, Ajax??” It was obvious the traveler was upset when he slipped and used his given name, but hearing it from his lips like that… Childe shuddered and let out a low groan, before pressing his hips down against Aether’s. To his surprise, the traveler noticed that he was hard, straining against the tight fabric of his pants. His cheeks flared with pink and he almost hated how excited that made him.
He should have been more worried than aroused, but things had long been shifting between them and there was no way to deny that there was something there.
Apparently, that something came with another flare of pain as a cold blade dragged lightly across his exposed abdomen, just barely breaking the skin. It was enough to make him bleed and arch his back, rolling his hips in some effort to do… something at least. “H-hey…. Ajax, c’mon… what’s gotten into you?” The ginger seemed so out of it that it was hard to say, his already dull blue eyes nearly completely vacant.
He dipped his head and dragged his tongue across the new wound, lapping up the blood there. “You know comrade…” he began, finally meeting Aether’s gaze. “I’ve never really noticed how pretty you are. You’d be even prettier speared on my cock.”
Ajax wasn’t one to mince words. Just because he wasn’t certain why he was noticing this now, didn’t mean he couldn’t understand what he was feeling. The way the traveler turned red and tried to stutter out some kind of protest was cute, really, but he could see how hard he was. It made him smirk, reaching down to cup Aether through his pants and squeeze, just to watch him writhe, to hear his breath catch in his throat with arousal.
“I-I… um, but, here?” Aether wasn’t stupid, and there was no real use denying how much he wanted this. Being pinned down and used, little more than a plaything while Ajax toyed with him?
There had been tension between them for months, and this seemed like the most favorable climax to it. Still, he blushed and squirmed when he was laughed at, then nearly screamed when his shirt was pushed up and his nipple bitten down on quite harshly. “Why not here? Everything is golden, and so are you, it’s like you belong here.” Though the traveler was far more valuable than any mortal treasure ever could be.
He carried the scent of the stars and the abyss, an intoxicating blend that broke through and grabbed Ajax by the neck and forced him forward. It was the scent of power, he realized, raw and unfiltered. “I’ve even got a surprise for you, but you’ll have to wait until later for me to give it to you.”
The promise made Aether shiver, curling his toes in anticipation. “Do your worst. You know I can take it.” Dangerous words, he knew, but he wasn’t about to stop goading Childe now, was he?
“Oh-ho, is that a challenge? Those are brave words, Aether, you better not regret them.”
Brave words indeed, as clothing was stripped off and haphazardly tossed around the floor of the golden house. They both pushed and pulled the other, hands neither gentle nor patient as soon as an agreement was made. By all means, they should be enemies, but Ajax had an infectious level of charisma, and likewise, Aether was merely trying to help people, that it got in the Fatui’s way wasn’t really his fault.
The traveler gave as good as he got, biting down on Ajax’s shoulder while the harbinger used some of Aether’s own blood as lube. He pressed one of his large, calloused fingers inside and groaned when the traveler clenched around him, and his nails bit into the skin on his back.
This was pure lust, both of them motivated by need rather than affection, and neither one minding.
One finger turned to two, curling and stretching until they found the spot he was looking for. Aether gasped, back bowed and hands gripping desperately for purchase as he sought some kind of anchor. “Found it,” Came out more as a taunt than anything else, cocky and self assured in his abuse of the traveler’s prostate.
It ached and burned in the most exhilarating way when the harbinger grew impatient enough for two fingers to suddenly become four, bullying their way inside to force Aether to accommodate.
He would need to, if he was going to take his cock. Aether was left staring, mouth agape at the size. No wonder Ajax walked around like he owned the world, he was easily as big as his damned forearm, heavy and curved just slightly. The thick veins along the sides drew Aether’s attention and he dragged his finger tips along them with featherlight touches until Ajax finally snapped.
Aether felt like the world flipped, suddenly on his hands and knees until an insistent hand pressed on his back hard enough to force his chest to the ground. Both his hole and his cock were left fully exposed, open to the harbinger’s gaze. “You look good like this, wearing nothing but your blood and on your knees. I could get used to this.” Maybe this is how they should settle all of their sparring matches from now on? Ajax certainly wouldn’t complain.
He hooked his thumbs on the rim of the traveler’s twitching hole and spread it apart, admiring the view one final time before he sank into his heat. Blood and precum helped, leaving things slick and the air tinged with a metallic scent that reminded them both of battle.
Aether was having a hard time keeping a clear head as he was stretched and pushed to his limits of what he could take. He couldn’t recall when he was last with someone this big, but then again, he couldn’t remember much before they came to Teyvat so that didn’t mean much. There was no time to think about it before a moan was all but punched out of him with a strong thrust, the first of many to come.
Ajax fucked just like he fought. Merciless and incessant, without slowing down or letting up to give his partner a chance to adjust or get used to anything. The pace he set was brutal, and the only sound that could be heard of the slap of skin on skin, were the desperate moans and cries of the traveler who lay beneath him.
The abyss had clearly changed many things about Ajax, as he didn’t even get soft between rounds, and Aether could feel just how much he came each time. He couldn’t even keep track of how many orgasm he had experienced, but the puddle of cum on the floor under him was sizable enough to know it was several.
Each time his body tensed and quivered with euphoria, the harbinger fucked him through it, completely unrelenting as he chased his own high.
With his stamina, he finished thrice before he finally took pity and decided a break was in order. Maybe he would treat the traveler to dinner, if he thought he could sit after this, and what he had in store for him.
“I almost forgot,” Ajax panted, staring down at the stuffed and spent traveler. “I promised you a gift.” Aether only barely caught sight of the glimmering blue and purple object, recognizing it as one of the items he collected each week after a victorious match. His eyes widened and he tried to protest, already hypersensitive and so full that it almost hurt.
The ginger didn’t give him even an inch of wiggle room, his grip on his hip bruising and unyielding. Slowly, his softening length pulled back until only the tip remained to catch on his puffy rim. It too, pulled free with a small tug, only to instantly be replaced by the shadow of the warrior himself, and pressed inside. Aether whined in overstimulation but it was too late, and all that was still visible was the glimmering gem at the top of the makeshift-plug.
“Next time, I’ll show you what I can do in my foul legacy form, so you better prepare yourself.”
Aether couldn’t tell if that was a threat or a promise, but… he was sure he didn’t care.
