Rei is a hologram. Fact. She is in a relationship with Rez. Another fact. How does it work?
Rez wakes and instead of seeing his lovely partner laying beside him, able to share their warmth or awake getting ready, he is met with a cold bed and a woman he can not touch.
Rei is unable to show her affections. She cannot kiss. Can not eat. Can not hug rez and shower him with the love she longs to rain on him.
They are both unable to relieve their...frustrations.
Is it hard or does their love truly prevail? Would their data hold hands and kiss. Would Rei's make his lunch? Would they tangle in a passionate mix that would create a shared shred of data, an offspring?
Is their love simply surface level due to their lack of a shared physical plane?
