Chapter Text
THE SACRED ORIGIN OF DIVINITY.
The lore of Gods' Philosophy, going back as far as the beginning of time itself.
"In the beginning, there was Ahriman—the Eternal Creator, whose will gave birth to the Nine Great Heavens, to the Bishops of Light, Darkness, and Death, and to the multitude of Gods and Goddesses who governed the stars, the seas, and the winds.
But from reverence rose defiance. The Bishops and the divine hosts looked upon their Creator with envy and proclaimed that His dominion was no longer just. They rose together in rebellion, and the war that followed split eternity itself.
Ahriman, though eternal, was overcome. His foes struck Him down and bound Him in a secret realm, sealed beyond all reaches, guarded by the eternal Guardians who permit no passage. Thus, the Creator was silenced, and His throne abandoned.
Yet victory birthed discord. The Bishops, once united, turned their blades upon one another. Helios claimed sovereignty by light, Ceryndar by shadow, and Khevaris by the dominion of death. Their quarrel set Heaven aflame, but none triumphed. Unable to claim the throne, they departed, scattering across the cosmos to rule alone, their conflict left unresolved.
In their wake, the Gods and Goddesses looked upon the mortal world and bestowed life upon it. From their divine hands came the Aetherians, chosen above all others, made to be the inheritors of Heaven’s will. Strong, radiant, and eternal, we were shaped as the living testament to their victory over the Creator.
To guide us, the archangels descended—beings of blinding majesty who carried the laws of the Bishops and the wisdom of the Gods. They taught us strength, order, and dominion, preparing us to walk as heirs of eternity.
But in time, they too vanished. No war was waged, no farewell spoken—only silence. One day they walked among us, and the next they were gone. Where they departed, none can say.
Yet the truth endures:
Ahriman was unmade.
The Bishops scattered.
The Gods and Goddesses gave us life.
And we, the Aetherians, remain their chosen heirs."
