The Last Christmas

Summary:

Simon goes behind Nell's back and invites you to the Christmas party.

You're mostly there for him, and don't bother trying to go through the front door.

Notes:

Me working on anything other than prompts for Kinktober 2025.

In my defense, I saw this movie a week ago, finally, and really loved it. Horrific, but funny.

Enjoy!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

A nice, peaceful drive through the countryside to meet up with him for one last jaunt of fun. If you were going to die, you would at least have some fun one last time before going out.

Simon. A guy you met almost a year ago. Little did you know that he was married and had three sons. Still, that didn't stop either of you from carrying on said illicit relationship. Luckily, he hadn't gotten you pregnant yet.

“Stop here,” you say as the cab eventually pulls up near the driveway entrance of the estate.

~x~

Nell thought she heard the sound of tires on gravel, glancing out the window to spot what had caused the noise. “Darling, did we have an extra guest?” she calls out to her husband when she sees a cab.

In the next room, Simon’s heart skips a beat. He nervously peers out of the windows of the room he's in, spotting what Nell saw. “Ah, probably a solicitor, I'll go and talk to them. Maybe they got lost,” he called back. Of course, he knew who it was anyway.

“Should I go with you?” she asks as Simon enters the main hallway and heads toward the front door of the estate.

He kissed her cheek before pulling away. “Nothing I can’t handle, stay here, it’s a bit chilly out anyway.” Nell nodded before letting him go.

He grabs his jacket, making his way out the door and towards the cab, which was pulling away as you stood out of the way. "Come on." Simon quickly whisks you away and out of sight from his wife, or any other nosy friends and family inside the house.

"Ow, hey!" you hiss. "I'm not a ragdoll, prick..."

Simon sighs, breathing out, "You're late; you could have gotten us caught."

"It's not my fault civilization is going to be wiped out today of all days. You're the one who invited me."

"I needed to see you one last time," he finally admits.

You smirk. "Does that mean you love me?"

He rolled his eyes. "Embarassingly so..."

"Sure, Simon. I roll up to your wife's Christmas party - family and friends only, we fuck, I go off to die in the woods somewhere, hm?" you rant.

"You didn't get a pill?" he questioned.

"No, Simon," you scoff, "I thought you were going to grab an extra one for me."

"I thought... Why didn't you get one?" he asks.

"Isn't it obvious," you shrug, "People like me don't get one, the not exactly-rich-people. The rest of us regular jack-offs aren't getting shit. We get to look forward to inhaling the gas and then choking on our insides while they turn into mashed potatoes. I guess the only way out if you're brave enough is with a kitchen knife." You make a throat-slit gesture, seeing Simon visibly shiver.

He sighs deeply. "Darling, please, we'll figure something out. But first." He reaches for your arms, trying to pull you closer.

You glare at him, trying to squirm free. "Don't darling me! You're going to fuck me and then leave me out here to die! I should go right in there and tell everyone," you hiss, feeling his grip tighten, the idea of exposing the relationship thrilling.

"Stop it, stop being a brat!" he interrupted, almost losing his temper while still trying to keep his voice down. "You're going to make a scene."

"Well, I am a lot younger than your wife," you taunted back. "Almost controversially so. It should be me, not her, right?"

Simon smirked. "Exactly, my good little wife, making every one of my meals. Maybe even a few well-behaved little ones playing quietly nearby."

"I thought you liked your kids?"

"Depends on the day. Art's alright, but the other two - little bastards."

You finally kiss him, and he returns the passion with his own before pulling away, a slight growl of frustration coming up from his throat as he remembers that they needed to find a safe spot. Simon glanced behind him, seeing your two bags sitting on the ground, just out of view of the house. "What's on top?" he asks.

"I brought a blanket for us, just in case we needed to do a little camping. Well, open-air camping," you say, winking. Simon lets go, hurrying over to your bags and grabbing them.

You decide to lead him through the woods to find a good spot, the dark clouds still far away in the distance. Stopping, you spot some flat ground and help him lay out the blanket. As usual, the foreplay turns into rolling around naked, and he's on top, buried deep inside you, thrusts desperate, but powerful.

The animosity from before fades away as he fucks you like it's the end of the world, even though it was. Well, at least not for a few more hours. For Simon and the others at least. When he would return to the party, you planned to stay put and wait for death whenever the gas decided to come that way.

You chant his name, along with a few other curses, until you finally cum along with him. "Wait, wait, shouldn't we... use protection?" he asks, nearly out of breath.

"Fuck no, I'm going to die anyway, don't bother," you tease. Simon chuckled, kissing your neck and nipping the spot softly. Before you could try and go for another round, he pulled away, getting to his feet and searching for his clothes.

"Really?" you complain, "You're leaving already?"

"Maybe, we'll see."

He finished getting dressed, taking a moment to look at you one last time before hurrying back towards the house. You sigh, "Prick."

You spent a few hours lying in silence and staring at the darkening sky outside. They were not the usual clouds, and you knew they carried the poison gas in them. There was no escaping unless you had a sealed, underground bunker to hide in somewhere. You checked your phone, seeing that it was twenty minutes past midnight. "Shit," you mumble, having gotten lost in your thoughts the entire time. Oh well, it was time to embrace impending doom.

~x~

Later, footsteps brought you back from your daze. Sitting up, you turned around in your seat to see Simon padding up. "Simon? I thought you were going to leave me here to die?" you ask.

"Change of plans," he answered, feeling a bit guilty on top of being visibly drunk. He takes a seat next to you on the blanket.

"What happened?"

"I came clean about everything," he divulged.

"Everything as in?" you say.

"Everything. The affair, you being here. I told Nell everything."

Your eyes widen in surprise. "Oh? Then why are you out here now?"

He scoffed under his breath softly. "She kicked me out, so here I am..."

"What?" You tilt your head. "Just like that? I thought tonight was all about forgiveness and love?" You cross your arms over your chest.

"I told her everything, darling, all the details," Simon reiterates.

"The nasties, and even the sex toys?"

He nodded in response.

"I guess she didn't take it well..."

"No, she did not," he says. "On top of that, Art refuses to take his exit pill."

"Ouch. So that means?" you trail off, seeing the outline of two small boxes in his front right trouser pocket. He was also carrying two drinking glasses and two cans of Cola. He set them down, digging in his pocket for the exit pill boxes.

"How long do they take to work?"

Simon flips one of the boxes over and reads the label on the back. "Five minutes."

"Mhm," you mumble in response. "The Cokes are warm, but that's alright, I appreciate the thought."

He nodded, pouring the drinks into the glasses before removing the pills from the packaging. Of course, they were read, and you felt a bit uneasy. "Do they have to be that big?" you ask.

Simon shrugged, leaning over to kiss your cheek. "Don't be afraid, darling, they're painless, you won't feel anything once they start working. It'll be quick and easy, we won't suffer."

You took one glass of Coke, and he took the other. He hands you the pill, keeping the other one. "I'm nervous," you whisper.

"Do you trust me?" he asks, and you nod.

He adjusts the pill in his hand, getting it into his fingers so he can hold it before moving it towards your mouth. You accept it, doing the same with the one in your hand, feeding it to him. You both take a drink from your glasses to wash the pills down. "See, that wasn't so hard, hmm?" Simon teased.

You blush slightly before a smirk makes its way to your lips. "Five minutes, right? Well, I doubt you'll last longer than two, but at least we'll die in each other's arms," you tease. Simon smirks, reaching for your glass and setting it off to the side in the dirt so they wouldn't spill.

"Round two? I hope I can keep up," he states, chuckling before pulling off your clothes first, and then his. For some reason, the feeling of knowing you'd be dead after five minutes made the sex feel all the more intense.

About three and a half minutes back into it, you felt a little weird below your waist, but around your legs. "Oh shit, I can't feel my legs..." you mutter, struggling a bit. Simon seems to be struggling as well.

"You're not the only one, darling," he says, thrusting a little bit sloppily. Still, the two of you manage to finish together, and you nearly collapse onto his chest, breathing heavily.

"I hope nobody finds us out here," you manage to laugh breathlessly.

Simon rolled his eyes. "I doubt that, everyone is going to be dead anyway," he says.

You sigh, content despite the situation. "I love you, Simon. I always thought about you when we weren't together, even if it did feel a little wrong."

He squeezes you gently. "Me too," he whispered.

After another minute, you felt exhausted, but not in any pain. "I think I'm going to take a really long nap now," you say. He hums in agreement, holding onto you the best he could.

You soon passed out in each other's arms, permanently, the pills doing what they were supposed to. If there were an afterlife, maybe you'd see him again, and probably the people from the Christmas party. It would be an awkward reunion, but who knew...

Notes:

This was supposed to be a warm-up work and shorter, but it took me three days. And I oop.
