E soul: He becomes the equivalent of a corporate slave, just following what his superiors order him to. Then one day he sees a small newspaper talking about his old friend and crush, Xia Qing, has committed suicide seemingly due to loneliness, betrayal and abandonment. This has Yan Cheng doubt everything he knows about himself and this ends up with him giving up during his next confrontation with Lin Ling, allowing Lin Ling to kill E-Soul.
Lin Ling: After E-Soul’s death by his hands, Lin Ling starts to feel like he’s lost all purpose with his love, Moon, and rival, E-Soul, both gone. Feeling useless, he decides to leave the industry and focus on his mental health. But with being in the top ten heroes, that results in him having a good few stalkers. One of these stalkers catches him in an alley. Lin Ling manages to fight them off and get the police (or some other hero) to take them away, but that trauma still remains. This leaves him with so much paranoia that not even his therapist can seem to help with (yes he would have a therapist HE NEEDS IT). With all the trauma stacking up fear envelops him and ends up suffocating him in a way.
Ghostblade: After his wife divorces him, he still stalks his daughter throughout her entire life. Then, just like episode 13, Louli and his daughter yell “Creep!” and “Stalker” or whatever. After all that he becomes very paranoid and stressed about opinions. And his title as the 4th most popular hero in the world does NOT help with ANY of that. Instead of stepping down as a hero like he does in the actual show, he ends up offing himself in his room. His daughter only finds out about her blood connection to Ghostblade after he’s revealed dead and ends up keeping the big bunny he originally bought for her.
Louli: After watching her dad’s death, she still has that big crash out while fighting nice. What’s different this time is when her suit comes off Nice takes that and the destroyed spaceship to his advantage. He ends up impaling her in the shoulder just like how her father was killed. Her grave is placed right next to her dad’s and she is seen as a hero for discovering fear repelling metal.
BONUS:
X (pre arc): This fatty eats too much and he gets a raptured stomach and dies from that ig.
