Drew, Jake, and Hailey are in a polyamorous relationship with each other, after getting locked into an empty classroom thanks to Daisy and Sadie's plan to make them get along, they manage to reconnect their own ways with each other. Well for context, Drew and Hailey reconnected with some kisses, but when the two noticed Jake smiling at their reconnection, instead of leaving him behind, they pulled him into the kiss and they had a three-way kiss, nothing sexual because they are minors. The three developed a wonderful relationship with each other, Drew came to terms about his judgement towards Hailey and her club, he became accepting and appreciated whatever Hailey can do. Despite her stage fright that he heard about, Drew was able to help her with that, Jake also tagged along with the idea to make Hailey overcome her stage fright and it eventually worked, with more practice and more confidence, it worked.
It worked that the band competition went well, Hailey and Jake sang at their performance, Luke Peterson, Zander Wickham, Milly Brooks, and Sean Everett don't know about their relationship because they're planning on telling them as a surprise, or just tell them. Before the band competition, Drew would come by and watch them rehearsal for the band competition, he smiled at the happiness of theirs, including his and he finally understands how Hailey feels about her passion, he wished he got the same thing. Unfortunately for Drew, his parents have spoiled him too much that resulted in Drew to care less about everyone but himself, but after being in a relationship with Jake and Hailey, he came to terms with his behavior and changed that. Drew eventually told Henry and Liam about attending rehearsals for the music club, the two came on Drew's behalf, it went well and they stopped bullying the music club, to make Drew happy.
One day, Drew was inside his bedroom, on his king sized bed, scrolling through Instagram to find some entertainment to kill time a bit, he heard a door knock from his bedroom door, he put his phone underneath his pillow and said "Come in!" The door opened to reveal his mother, wearing her expensive clothes and her hair was done pretty well, she looked at Drew "Drew, I was wondering if you would like to keep an eye on the house while your father and I are away on a date? Since you're our only child and we don't have any other children, would you like some food from our date? We know how much you like takeout food." Drew showed a slight smile, answering "Maybe but I'll eat whatever we have in the house."
"That makes sense and also," his mother said with a silly smile on her face "Are you still friends with Jake? Because the other day, I saw you hanging out with him and some girl in the streets when I was walking the dog, are you two like dating or still friends?" Drew decided to tell his mother about his polyamorous relationship with Jake and Hailey, it's time for her to know about it and he was hoping that she will be accepting, despite her personality. "Mom... I'm dating Jake." Drew admitted, unsure if his mother would be okay with him dating a guy, she looked surprised and asked "And that girl? Is she like a third wheel or something?" Drew shook his head, correcting her with a sigh "She's my girlfriend. Mom, I'm in a polyamorous relationship with Jake and Hailey, I'm bisexual mom and I didn't want to tell you about it because I didn't want you to be against it. I know that you have your own beliefs but... I wasn't sure how to tell you."
Drew's mother stood there, more surprised that her son is in a polyamorous relationship with two people at this moment, she smiled and said "I guess it whatever makes you happy, do you want me to tell your father?" Drew shook his head, he knows how his dad can be with the LGBTQ+ community, his father isn't fully accepting of Drew's sexuality but still cares about him and Drew said to his mother "Don't tell dad, you know how he is." She nodded in understanding, she said to Drew with a reassuring smile "I understand, we won't tell your dad until you want to. I have to go out with your dad right now, see you later son." She said as she walked away, Drew waved goodbye and he sighed in relief. Drew went back on his phone and continued scrolling through Instagram to make him entertained for a while.
With Hailey Austin, the turquoise haired girl was having dinner with her family, Zander Wickham is her stepbrother, Shannon is her stepmom, Michael is her biological father, and Bethany is her little sister, the family of five were having some steak for dinner tonight because it was that day to have something delicious, Hailey was eating her steak as her stepmother said to Zander "Pass me the bread Alex." Zander handed her the bread, not giving a fuck because he prefers being called Zander instead of 'Alex', he doesn't want to say anything about it because of how of much nagging his mother could be, Bethany was eating some small bites of the steak that Michael have cut up for her and Hailey was grabbing some lemonade from the big container where they hold drinks like water, lemonade, and more. Hailey was thinking about telling his mom, dad, and Zander about her polyamorous relationship with Jake and Drew, she knows that Zander won't be happy about it because he doesn't get along with Drew, even when he attends music practices and Zander could ignore Drew, seeing him as a nuisance still. Hailey has been thinking about Zander's reaction to the news about her in a three-way relationship, she wasn't sure how her stepbrother would react to that information but she got this feeling in her gut that he wouldn't be supportive and will be like 'He's a dumb ass!' or anything like those words.
Hailey doesn't want to reveal her relationship around Bethany since she is only 7 years old, she doesn't understand anything about the LGBTQ+ community, she took a deep breath and finally asked "Mom? Dad? Zander? Can I tell you guys something without Bethany in the room? I need to tell you guys something." Shannon nodded with a smile on her face, she looked at Bethany and asked her youngest daughter "Bethany, can you go to your room for a bit? We'll call you back to the kitchen when we tell you too." Bethany didn't understand why she was told to go to her room so early but she nodded, not wanting to obey her mother, she got up from the chair and walked to her room as she was told to. Hailey faced Zander, who looked like he was willing to listen to whatever Hailey was going to tell him, Shannon, and Michael about something, Hailey took a deep breath and said "Mom? Dad? Zander. I'm in a relationship with two guys."
When Hailey said those words, Zander dropped his fork onto the ground, he got serious and asked "Who are those two guys?" When Shannon noticed Zander's expression and his attitude, she said to Zander with a serious tone in her voice "Alex, let Hailey finish what she wanted to tell us." Zander let her finish by laying back on his chair, Hailey stammered a little bit as she said to her family "Dr-Dr-Drew and... Jake." When Hailey said the names, Zander got up and asked with frustration running like adrenaline inside his body "Are you serious!? You're in a polyamorous relationship with Jake and... Drew!?" Hailey nodded, admitting to her statement and Zander wasn't happy about it, Shannon got up, faced her son and said "Alex! If you continue to behave that way towards your sister, you're going to be grounded for the week!" Zander faced his mother and said what he wanted to say about Hailey being in a polyamorous relationship with two of the people he hates "Can't you see mom!? She's dating two boys that I don't like! How are you going to accept that and let her be okay with it!?"
Shannon wasn't going to deal with her son's misbehaving tone, she took Hailey's side and said to Zander "If Hailey wants to be in a relationship with two guys, it doesn't matter, as long as she is happy and you're trying to tell her that she shouldn't be dating whoever she wants!?" Zander crossed his arms, he doesn't seem interested in dealing with any shit because he doesn't have the balls to accept his sister's happiness "Drew is a mean person! Jake is a complete jerk like he was before he joined the club! I'M NOT GOING TO ACCEPT HAILEY BEING IN A SOME POLYAMOROUS RELATIONSHIP!" Shannon had enough of Zander's behavior and said to Zander with a disciplinary voice "Go to your room young man! You're grounded for the week!" Zander stomped his shoe onto the floor and stormed to his bedroom where he slammed the door violently, the room went silent and Hailey said to her parents "I'm so sorry for-"
"No need to apologize, Hailey." Shannon said with her arms crossed, very unhappy that her son was behaving like that towards Hailey's relationship, she sighed and said while she sat down "Michael, get Bethany and we'll continue dinner without Zander." Michael complied by getting up and walking to Bethany's bedroom to inform her that she was safe to join back into the kitchen again. Dinner went unusual, there was mainly silence playing around the atmosphere, no one said a word throughout the whole meal and Hailey wasn't sure that Zander would be talking to her about her relationship. In the meantime, she is going to have to give him some space and time to think about accepting, even if he doesn't mean what he said, she is hoping for some chance and see that Drew did change. Only time will tell...
Finally, Jake Sterling was in the laundry room of the house, washing his favorite jacket as he lends against the wall of the room, he has been washing the jacket that he wears on the weekend and guess what, today is the weekend so that's his time, Jake was making sure that it was completed clean but not too much clean to damage the entire washing machine and because he saw some TikTok where somebody poured a lot of cleaning supplies inside one load of washing clothes. Jake learned not to do that so he decided to take it small at a time, he was waiting for his clothes to be clean when he heard the door opening to reveal his mother (We'll call her Sammy because it's a gender neutral name) entered the laundry room with a smile on her face and said "Hey sweetie, what are you doing?"
"Oh hey mom," Jake said as he took notice of his mother in the room "Just washing my jacket as usual, where's Milo? I hope he still isn't made at me for telling him that he couldn't have any sweets before dinner." Sammy responded with a reassuring smile on her face "I'm sure that he'll understand that he can't have any kind of sweet before dinner, it will spoil his appetite and he would've had a sugar crush." The two giggled by that statement, they know how Milo could be with, a lot of sugar can drive him insane and Jake asked his mother with an unsure expression suddenly "Mom? Can I tell you something right quick?" Sammy looked at her oldest son, turning her face to a curious expression and asked "What is it?" Jake took a deep breath, had his arms crossed and he asked "Do you know what a polyamorous relationship is?" Sammy raised an eyebrow, she responded with a "No. Why? Are you in a polyamorous relationship Jake?"
Jake nodded, he began to explain everything to his mother "Yes, being in a polyamorous relationship is dating two or more people. I'm dating my friend Drew and my friend Hailey... I wasn't sure how you would react to that information. Don't tell Milo about it though because I don't think that he would understand." Sammy looked surprised, she didn't expect her son to be in a relationship with two people, she was used to seeing two people dating but three, it was confusing her so much but this is her son dating his best friend and the club president, she doesn't want to seem rude or anything like that because she wants to be a supportive mother towards her oldest child. She just smiled at her son and said "As long as you are happy, I'm happy for you as well." Jake smiled at his mother, saying with a relief smile on his face "Thanks mom, don't tell Milo about it because you know how he can be with information."
Sammy nodded in understanding, if that is what her son wanted, she has got to respect that on his behalf, she said "Okay, I won't tell Milo about your relationship with two people. It is Drew and Hailey if I'm correct?" Jake nodded, Sammy gave a thumbs up and left the room, she is proud to become a supportive mother towards her son, knowing how her husband could've been if he was still here with them but God took him away when Jake was 7 years old and now, she's going to go through this without her husband. Jake was probably thinking about Milo's reaction, he is only a middle school kid and he doesn't know much or he wouldn't care about it, but his secret is safe with his mother.
Sunday
Sunday afternoon at 3:30 pm, Jake was waiting for his boyfriend Drew and his girlfriend Hailey to come over to a Cafe to meet up about how they told their families about their polyamorous relationship with each other, Jake was on his phone, listening to music while waiting for his partners to attend and he was making sure that they got the message. Jake eventually saw Drew walking with Hailey, Jake noticed that they were holding hands without him and Jake said jokingly in a teasing tone "Wow, my boyfriend and girlfriend are holding hands without me? I wanna join in." Drew and Hailey giggled, knowing that joke already, they headed over to Jake, stopped their tracks and Drew asked "So what's up?" Jake smirked, having his hand on his hip as he said "How did the confrontation go? Like us telling our families about our polyamorous relationship."
Drew looked at Hailey, seeing that she had a dejected expression on her face, he looked back at Drew and answered "Hailey's did go well, Zander wasn't supportive of our relationship." Hailey looked at Drew and added "He hadn't spoken to me since I told him, I tried to tell him about it but he wouldn't listen and I overheard him complaining about it to Luke on the phone, I'm not sure if Luke will be happy about it as well." Jake couldn't believe what Hailey had told him, he couldn't believe that Zander isn't supportive of their relationship with each other, he knew how Zander could be with Hailey, overprotective and has issues with people around him, so he could understand why Zander wouldn't be supportive of their poly relationship. Jake had that coming, it was because he used to bully Hailey and Zander for their passion for music, Jake couldn't blame Zander for it and he understands about it. Jake just stood there, the air blowing onto his hair as he said to Hailey "Hailey... , I'm so sorry that Zander isn't supportive of our relationship with each other, I thought that he would be okay with it or something." Hailey looked back at Jake, ran to him and hugged him, Drew tagged along and hugged Jake as well. Jake was sad that Zander isn't supportive or appreciating what they have in common, Jake hugged back the two and told Hailey "It's okay Hailey, we'll try to talk things out with Zander."
Drew looked at Jake, worried about how they were going to talk to Zander about him going to accept their relationship, no matter what and he needs to be okay with it. Drew feels bad for Hailey as well, knowing how she would overcome this challenge, having a stepbrother who has his own issues to deal with, Drew was wondering about Luke as well, he knows how Luke can be overprotective of Zander but Luke seems like a nice guy to him and a person who doesn't want any trouble for the people that he cares about. The trio let go of each other, Jake asked Hailey "What about your family? Are they okay with it?" Hailey looked at Jake with a nod, she nodded as she stated "Yeah, they're okay with it but Zander isn't okay with him and I'm not sure if Luke would be the same thing." Jake looked at Drew, who had a concerned expression on his face as Jake said to Hailey "I understand. Do you want some ice cream to calm you down?" Hailey nodded, regaining her smile on her face as she said "That would be amazing." Drew and Jake smiled at each other, if that is what Hailey wants, they'll get it for her and for her smile.

Back with Zander Wickham, who was hanging out with his boyfriend named Luke Peterson, who is there with him, sitting next to him as he offers him some coffee that was in a purple mug with a heart logo in between the mug, Zander was sitting on a table at Luke's grandma's house where Luke lives in since he was disowned for coming out as a pansexual and Luke have become aware of what happened at that day. Zander took the coffee off of Luke's hand as he took it gently, he took a sip of it and gently placed it down onto the table, Zander wasn't sure about supporting his stepsister's polyamorous relationship with Jake and Drew, he knows how Jake and Drew are like towards her before, he just wanted to make sure if Hailey was really okay with it. Silence filled the room, the two of them didn't say a word and then, Zander broke the silence "I don't know Luke, you know how Jake and Drew are? Rebellious, ungrateful, and don't have the balls to think." Luke understood how Zander would react, he has known Zander for years now and seeing him snap at Hailey was something that he wished that he was there to reassure him that if that is what Hailey wanted, he should accept it and move on.
"I understand Zander," Luke said with an ounce of seriousness sung inside his voice as he took Zander's hand, stroking the hand with his thumb and Zander faced Luke as he continued to say "But I don't think snapping at Hailey was necessary at all, I understand that you hadn't trust Jake and Drew with Hailey because of things in the past but I believe you went too far with that... You can't force her to break up with any of them but you can accept their relationship with each other and do whatever it takes to make Hailey happy." When Zander faced his boyfriend, he could tell that Luke was being serious about this, the expression of Luke's seriousness got him a shiver down his spine a bit because Luke is usually calm and nice towards others, he hardly saw Luke losing his temper and the feeling of him wanting to kick somebody's ass.
Zander just looked down, unsure if he is willing to risk accepting his stepsister's polyamorous relationship, he just never knew someone who is dating two or more people and the fact that Hailey was dating two of his enemies just surprised him. Zander was about to say something when he noticed the door opening, he saw Hailey stepping inside the house, holding a card in her hand and Zander faced her, having a skeptical look on his face, he asked "What?" Luke noticed his expression, he put his hand on his shoulder, nodding his head to tell him that she needed to be heard out, Zander nodded and Hailey gently placed the card down, she sat next to Zander and she said "Read it. Out loud."
