The sun is bright, the weather is just right, and Beomgyu’s heart settles in his chest the right way for him to wake up in a good mood. He groans a little and rubs his eyes, then checks the time on his phone. “9:34 A.M.” He checks his calendar app and sees that there’s no schedule for today. He grins and gets up, wanting to spend his rest day doing things he didn’t have time for.
And of course, with the one he truly loves. Choi Soobin.
He’s in the kitchen– that beautiful, tall handsome man that serves as the leader of our team. He’s truly an amazing guy and he wonders how fate was so kind to let them meet.
“Beomgyu, you’re awake. I made breakfast, you’re okay with a bagel egg sandwich, right?” He says, his back turned, facing the stove as he’s frying some eggs. There’s two separate plates, one of them with four bagel sandwiches and one empty plate. Beomgyu assumes it’s for building the sandwich. “Taehyun, Kai, and Yeonjun all went to go workout.” A bagel pops out of the toaster and scares Beomgyu a little.
“I’m okay with anything,” Beomgyu replies, taking the hot bagel out of the toaster and setting it down onto the plate, then sitting down in the high chairs at the counter. He watches Soobin silently, not fully awake from his slumber.
Soobin finishes frying his egg and turns around to see what Beomgyu had done for him. He smiles a little, looking up at him with amused and appreciative eyes. “Thanks.” Beomgyu loves his smile, especially on warm, sunny mornings like this. Soobin finishes the final sandwich and almost as if this was set-up, the door pad beeps open and the trio walk in, sweaty but pumped. They all share a casual but fond greeting, as the trio goes to wash up.
“Soobin-ah.” Soobin turns towards the source. “Yeah?”
“Let’s go on a date. You and me.”
Soobin stays quiet for a moment, before his eyes twinkle, his smile grows fond, and his softened voice goes, “Okay.”
