Bones was getting ready for court. When Angela came in and asked if she can do the picture for the bones that Zach asked her to look at it? Bones said yeah that is fine. Angela said thank you.
Angela left the room and she started on the picture. Booth comes into Bones’s office and he said come on Bones it's court day let's pick up the pace. Bones said okay.
Bones and Booth left her office after that. Bones looked into Angela’s office. Bones was shocked at what she saw and she thought she was imagining things so she runs to her office as she feels like about to be sick.
Angela looks at Booth and he pulls out his phone and tells the courtroom clerk he needs to take Dr Brennan off of the witness stand as she is unable to make it.
The courtroom clerk said okay. Booth said thank you. The courtroom clerk said you are welcome. They got off the phone. Angela asked what was wrong?
Booth said you just found Bones mom. Booth came into her office. Bones said I can’t go to court.
Booth said I know. He said I already called it in. Bones said I got to call Russ
Booth said okay. Bones got up and went to her desk. And she picked up her phone and she went to Russ’s name. And she called the name.
Russ answered his phone. And he asked are you and Booth okay Tempe? Bones said yeah we are good. Russ could hear in Bones voice that something is wrong. He went to ask what was wrong?
But Bones said I need you to come down to my work. Russ said is everything okay? Bones said I can’t say right now. Russ said okay.
Russ said I love you. Bones said I love you too. They got off the phone. While Russ was coming to Bones work.
Zack started to talk to Bones about her mom. Booth kept saying Zack but Zack would say what. He said it is true. Just then Russ and Parker came in.
Parker ran up to his dad first. He said daddy. And Booth picked up Parker. And he said I am going to take him somewhere else right now. Bones and Russ said okay.
Booth, Zack, and Parker left. Russ asked what was wrong? Bones said we just found mom. Russ got a smile. He said that is good.
Russ asked which hospital? Bones said I am sorry. And Russ' smile went away. And he asked how did she die? Bones said we don’t know yet.
Bones said but we will find out. Russ said okay. Russ looked ready to cry.
But Bones knows he can’t because of Parker. Bones said if you want to cry Booth and I can watch over Parker until you get yourself together? She said or I can get a babysitter and you can go home to Amy to cry if you need to. Russ said can Amy come here? Bones said yeah.
Russ said thank you. Bones said you are welcome. Russ just texted Amy.
Russ: Can you please come to Tempe’s work please.
Amy: Yeah. Is she and Booth okay?
Russ: Yeah
Amy: Okay. I will be right there
Russ: Thank you
Amy: You are welcome
Russ put his phone away. And he looked up. And he said that Amy will be right here. Bones said okay. She asked do you want me to leave or do you want me to wait until Amy gets here?
Russ asked can you please stay here. Bones said yeah. Russ said thank you. Bones said you are welcome. Bones went up to Russ.
And Russ just pulled Bones to him and gave her a hug. Bones just hugged him about. Just then Amy came in. And Bones got up. And she said I am going to find Parker and Booth.
Amy said okay. Bones left after that. Just then Russ broke down. Amy asked what was wrong? Russ said Tempe just found our mom.
Russ said our mom is dead. Amy said I am so sorry. Russ said thank you. Amy said you are welcome. After a while Russ and Amy went to go look for Parker, Booth, and Bones.
Russ went up to Angela. And Angela put her arms around Russ. And she said I am sorry. Russ said thank you. Angela said you are welcome.
Russ pulled away after a while. And he asked where Parker, Booth, and Bones were? Angela said in the kitchen. Russ said thank you. Angela said you are welcome.
Russ and Amy went into the kitchen. Russ asked are you ready to go Parker? Parker looked up. And he said yeah. And he got up.
And Parker went up to his dad. And he gave him a hug and a kiss. And then after that he went up to his mom. And he gave his mom a hug and a kiss. And Booth and Bones said we will see you later buddle.
Parker said yeah. And he said be careful. He said I love you. Booth and Bones said we love you too. After that Russ, Amy, and Parker left after that.
True to Bones words. They got the guy that did this to their mom. Booth and Bones got home. And Bones asked if Russ and Booth wanted a drink? Russ and Booth said just one beer please.
Bones got all three of them beer. Booth got Parker to bed. And he came right back out. Bones gave their drinks to Booth and Russ. Russ and Booth said thank you.
Bones said you are welcome. She turns around. And she plays the voicemail. And when Russ and Bones heard their father’s voice. They both dropped their beers.
Booth asked what was wrong? And he could see that both Bones and Russ looked scared or shocked or both. Russ said that was our dad. Booth said oh. He asked are you both okay?
Bones and Russ said yeah. Russ said well I got to go. Bones said okay. She said I love you. Russ said love you to.
Bones went up to Russ and gave him a hug. And then she went to get the broom and dustpan to clean up their mess. Russ left after that. And Bones said sorry to Booth. Booth said it is all good.
