Down The Rabbit Hole(s)

Summary:

“I’ve heard a thing or two about bunny boyssss~” The snake whispers, the split tip of his long slithering tongue wavering with each lazy S-syllable. “You’ve got two holes, don’t ya?”

He comes in closer, and Jay shuts his eyes tightly, seemingly barely breathing until Jake’s plush glossy lips brush against his hot skin like tingly needles, making the bunny hybrid inhale sharply.

“We may be kinda compatible, you and I. What d’ya say we find out?”

Or, as a vulnerable bunny hybrid growing up in a small town, Jay’s parents taught him two things. One was to diligently ration out carrots and cabbage to store during the winter months—something that seemed only logical, in Jay’s opinion.

The other was perhaps even more obvious, yet for some reason his parents still felt the need to hammer the golden rule into his impressionable kit (read: baby bunny) brain over and over again. Whenever a new family moved into the neighborhood, or a new student joined his class- they would always, without fail, remind him:

Stay away from predators—especially the snake hybrids.

Chapter 1: hole in one

Chapter Text

As a vulnerable bunny hybrid growing up in a small town, Jay’s parents taught him two things.

“They’ll have you falling into their evil traps before you ever get ahold of your bearings,” his mother had warned, a bored yet filial eight-year-old Jay looking up at her with twitching fluffy ears while he played with his toy cars. “You can never risk it, Jongseong. Stay away from the snakes.”

But that was many years ago. Fourteen to be exact—and Jay no longer lived in a small town of carrot farmers, where his mother’s odd superstitions and rickety stereotypes about unfamiliar species were the holy law.

No, Jay had studied hard enough to earn a one-way ticket out of the jolly ol’ countryside, and instead attended a rather large and diverse university, where his best friend of nearly all four years and co-founder of the Vegan Society, Park Sunghoon, was a predator himself. Sure, snow leopards were a lot different from snakes, and even in progressive, big city universities snakes didn't carry the best reputation…

(“They're all troublemakers, Jongseong,” Sunghoon would say, whenever a group of snake hybrids passed by their medicinal herb department. “They’re inherently sadistic and like to prey on your kind. Please be careful.”)

…but brave bunny hybrid Park Jongseong had stared up at the vegan snow leopard much like he did his mother, agreeable yet not very interested. It didn't help that he’s never even had a reason to interact with a snake hybrid before in his mundane herbivore life.

Everything his mother and even Sunghoon said could be a complete myth for all he knew, a myth that Jay had never been all too inclined to believe in.

Well—until now.

Because it seemed the moving company he hired wanted him dead.

✨🥕🧡🐇✨🐍🩷🥚✨

“So you’re saying these are your belongings, little bunny?”

Feeling almost hypnotized by the lime-green irises and sharpened black slits staring into the very depths of his soul, Jay swallows thickly, gaze flickering left and right between the two large boxes in question and any potential escape routes.

Bunnies must always be quick on their feet.

He just arrived at his new apartment complex, scurrying over after receiving a text notification that his stuff was delivered successfully. He had finally gotten hired after graduating, and was excited to start his new chapter of real city life.

It seems the movers confused his unit with his…next-door neighbor’s, however, and the second Jay had gone to reach for a cardboard box to lift, a quick, vein-ridden hand promptly stopped him in his tracks.

Jay took one look at the perpetrator, and almost as if his generational bunny ancestors were making loud, flashing red alarms go off in panicked “run away” warning signs—he automatically knew.

The man in front of him was a snake hybrid.

What specific kind—Jay wasn't entirely sure. Had only ever touched on the subject of differing reptile species in an intro to predator anatomy course maybe two years back. But one thing that stood out for certain was…those eyes…

A bright, almost neon yellowish-green in color, they were intimidating. Borderline unnerving.

The mark of many predators, a gaze purposefully cultivated by evolution to petrify its victims, reduce them to a state of paralytic fear—because what good was bodily autonomy with a mind that already felt the fatal sting of teeth sinking into its neck?

After a long pause, Jay clears his throat awkwardly, praying to the lagomorpha heavens that his vocal chords at the very least weren’t frozen along with the rest of him.

“Yes…they’re mine,” the bunny manages, not knowing what suicidal pocket of his brain tissue possesses him to tactlessly add on, like a simple by the way sticky note, “And—um, I’m not little. I'm taller than you.”

Akin to a bird flexing its colorful feathers in hopes of scaring off a more powerful opponent, the bubbling anxiety zooming around in his tummy has Jay shifting his habitually slouchy posture, the bunny awkwardly straightening up to his full height. He knew he was above average for his species class.

It’s easy to see that he indeed stands a few centimeters taller than the ominous snake boy propped up against the door—his apartment door, blocking it off like some kind of…some kind of gang member.

Even the snake hybrid’s peculiar fashion style screamed trouble, a black hoodie and baggy ripped jeans that were bleached and shredded to death. Each article oversized to the point of hiding any true details about his frame. A thick bulky silver chain– almost like a dog collar, hung taut around his neck.

The craziest part was that despite their apparent height difference, the way the snake looks at him, as if he was looking straight through him instead, devastatingly makes Jay feel as if he is the smaller one. And it seems the snake knows this well.

“Aw, bunny, you’re trembling…”

Only when it’s brought up does Jay notice he’s right, grabbing at one of his arms to make it stop shaking. Stupid bunny instincts. Fuck.

“No need to be so scared, darling,” the snake grins, and Jay nearly faints at the sight of elongated pointy fangs, like ivory knives staring him in the face, promising pain and misfortune. “I’m Jake Sim, from Ausssstralia~ Moved back here for uni, though. First time meeting a bunny like you up close. Do you hop when you're excited?”

“Um,” Jay intelligently mutters again, not knowing if he was frozen this time out of terrorized fear or pure confusion, a tad stunned by the flurry of information that was just thrown into his lap. “No– I-I don’t think so.”

That was a lie. When he was little, he used to hop around when he was allowed to eat carrot cake on a school night. His mom told him so.

“Hm. Shame.” Jake Sim’s giddy expression falls for a short moment, before he rather shamelessly looks the bunny in front of him up and down, gaze lingering at the small of Jay’s waist currently hugged tight by his satin pink dress shirt, that sharp-fanged grin slithering back at full force. “I’m sure we can remedy that, though.”

Remedy what?

“I—” Jay blinks, shaking his head. No need to engage. Grab his stuff and go. Flee, you idiot bunny, flee! “It was- nice meeting you…Jake. I’ll be heading inside now.”

Side-stepping the other hybrid with what he hopes is a polite nod of his head, Jay stoops over to move one of the larger boxes of his belongings, freezing up again when he feels a distinct chilled shiver run down his spine.

And then the bunny’s entire face is burning up, spilling over bright red when Jake curiously marvels, “Wow, so your clothes do have little tail cutouts. Hah, sssooo cute, it’s like a cotton ball.”

Nothing prepares Jay for the lightning heart attack that erupts in his ribcage when he feels actual fingers brush against the tuft of his tail, however, the bunny hybrid squeaking and nearly tripping over his moving boxes and himself.

“What the hell—” Jay whips around and glares in the direction he last saw the snake, only to have a second mini heart attack when he is met with Jake existing much, much closer than before, the stranger practically pressed up against his body, now—definitely an invasion of his personal space.

“Ah, ssssssorry, bunny,” Jake’s split tongue peeks out as he speaks, sharp fangs looking even more intimidating up close. “It was just so fluffy looking I had to cop a feel. You understand, right? Plus, you smell amazing.”

As if he wasn't being creepy enough, Jake Sim leans in and takes a long whiff of the bunny’s sweet natural scent, and it has Jay shaking in his boots. Jay even feels like he imagines it when he sees the predator’s naturally thin pupils shift and dilate, but when Jake blinks and the slanted black lines have gone straight again, he can do nothing but whimper and tremble in place. What the fuck.

This is why mother said to stay away from the snakes. This is why!!!

“No— I-I don't understand,” Jay sputters incredulously, trying to take a few steps back only to bump up against a moving box and almost fall on his face again. “You can't just go around t-touching people, that’s—it’s harassment!”

Jake snickers lightly, and this close up Jay can see the litter of warm freckles that decorate the other boy’s peachy golden skin, as well as Jake’s barely noticeable eyebrows, which were colored a light blonde. Everything about this guy was so weird.

“Aw, you think so?” The snake hums in faux disappointment, as if contemplating what his next course of action should be, those same terrifying lime-green eyes shamelessly giving him another once over. And then, with a cheshire grin, “Well, if you already consider a little tail touching to be harassssment~”

“Whoa—!” Jay yelps when the snake boldly and decisively pulls him in by the scruff of his neck, Jake all but giggling as he reaches his other hand around back to squeeze properly at Jay’s vulnerable little bunny tail.

“Open up,” he whispers, right as his adorable prey’s mouth does as told on the note of a pathetic-sounding squeak.

Jake doesn't waste any more time on teasing after that, pulling Jay’s neck downward the slightest bit so that he can reach deeper when he presses the pretty bunny up against the wall, boxes forgotten, and slots their hot open mouths together in a wet sticky kiss.

The inside of Jay’s palatable lips is soft and smooth, pink bunny tongue feeling like such delicate easily breakable flesh when Jake rubs his own rougher, long split tongue over it, indulgently feeling all around the inside of Jay’s mouth, which he makes sure stays open thanks to the naughty hand playing with his cute bunny’s tail below them.

Jake only pulls away when he feels the futile struggle of his prey slowly die down and Jay droops all flushed and pliant in his hold, panting softly, looking absolutely wrecked just from a bit of kissing. He feels at soft fluffy cotton fur once more, pupils dilating at the tiny whimper that gets him in response.

“You like when I pull on your tail, bunny? Hehe, cuuute,” the predator actually giggles, like they were a pair of fledglings playing tag on the playground, and Jay feels his knees go weak.

So this is how he was going to die, then? Eaten alive right outside of his newly-leased apartment that he hasn't even gotten to step one foot inside yet? Jay nearly faints on the spot, body lax, almost entirely held up by the snake’s strong grip on his neck and hips alone.

“Not done with you yet, darling,” Jake hums, and instead of Jay’s fluffy cotton tail those same bold naughty fingers are sliding down to feel up the plump curve of a thick ass, smacking the jiggly flesh to get his cute bunny friend to squeak again, before the snake dives right back inside that whiny open mouth.

Jake doesn’t even bother pressing their lips together this time, instead using the forked-end of his long tongue to lick around the perimeter of soft cushiony bunny appendage—touch invasive, predatory, all-consuming.

“Taste so good, baby,” Jake breathily mumbles between sloppy licks, finally closing in to rub their open mouths against each other for a second round. It was true—maybe it was a bunny thing, but he was so sure the inside of Jay’s wet pink cavern was giving off sweet strawberry nectar, honey, something of the like.

“Could eat you right up. Devour you in one bite, really.”

At those words, Jay’s hazy flushed pupils seem to go wide, like he was just now realizing the position he was in, getting groped and tongued by his predator neighbor in the fucking hallway of their apartment complex. Someone could come up the elevator or exit the stairwell and easily see them, just—just out in the open.

However, any sense of rational thinking gets strangled to death between kisses the second the bunny feels one of Jake's pointy fangs graze his bottom lip. Sharp. A little more pressure and surely there would be blood.

Predator! Predator!

“P-Please don't eat me,” Jay whispers scaredly, all too aware of how he’s started shaking, unable to control his instincts which are screaming at him to do whatever it takes to survive.

“Aw, why not?” Jake laughs softly against trembling pink lips, grabby hands rubbing up and down the curves of a petite waist and wide set hips. He’d always heard about how fertile bunny hybrids were, this must be one of the reasons why.

Plush, wide hips that seemed made for the sole purpose of pushing out babies.

“I’d be gentle,” the snake persuades, eyeing the cute way the bunny boy’s ears fall flat onto his head, an involuntary sign of just how terrified the poor thing is. “You don't trust me?”

“I- I barely know you!” Jay desperately pleads, fear swirling around in the pit of his stomach like the upside down loop on a rollercoaster. He felt dizzy. And hot—why was it so hot?

“Your face is ssssuper red, it's cute. Oh- and you can barely stand!—aw, bunny~” Jake coos, looking at Jay as if he was no better than a baby bird with an injured wing. “So sensitive…” rubbing a thumb against the bunny’s still open and panting mouth, it’s no surprise when a slutty sound quickly follows.

“It’s like you're in heat, love.”

But that can’t be, Jay shakes his head, wincing at how the mere movement makes him ache. Bunnies didn’t have recurring heat cycles like other hybrids– instead they were set to ovulate after mating, and Jay—while he had just gotten very indecently kissed and- and touched a little in this here hallway—has never mated. He’s been a single bunny all his life! Ask anyone in his village!

Jay knows this, knows all these feelings are foreign to him—yet it's hard to continue thinking any further with how warm and fuzzy his body feels and how terribly bad his head is pounding, the bunny’s once alert, panicked gaze slowly morphing back into a woozy and sated one.

“Hey,” Jake pats the bunny’s cheek to wake him up after a second of watching his prey cutely sway back and forth, grinning wide when pretty, almost cat-like eyes do go back into focus. A cat-bunny (bunny-cat?) was his new neighbor! How glorious!

But at the mere sight of bright white, sharply-pointed snake fangs Jay jumps and startles, foot tapping restlessly—a habit he hasn't fallen into since grade school.

Before he can even process what the snake had said, however, Jay finds his thighs being forcibly spread open by a slithering touch, gasping brokenly when suddenly there's firm pressure being applied between his legs—w-where–right where his–

“Ah—wait! W-What are—” the bunny squeaks, mouth opening in a silent whine as Jake’s fingers indulgently prod around, searching, until the snake finds exactly what he’s looking for.

“Soft pussies. Heard bunny boys have ‘em…” Jake sighs dreamily, roughly pressing upwards into the thin material of Jay’s flowy slacks and cruelly spreading his fingers until squishy flesh gives way, obediently parting so that the sweetly scented wetness seeping out of an even squishier place can be felt—the bunny’s cunt humid and damp and practically pulsing with want in his palm.

“Oh, yeah- you’ve fuckin’ got one, alright,” Jake pats at the little thing softly, big sparkly grin returning tenfold when such simple stimulation practically has Jay’s legs buckling underneath him, Jake tightening his hold around a thin petite waist to stop his cute bunny friend from falling.

“—and you’re dripping wet, too. Lookin’ so prim and proper…y’didn't strike me as the perverted type,” the snake dissolves into an easy fit of giggles after that, teasing gaze half-lidded and playful. “Getting off on being touched in the hallway? Wanna get bred that badly, bunny? We aren't even mated yet~”

“Huh? No, I–I’m not—” Jay nearly breaks down, not understanding why he feels like crying the second Jake withdraws his hand from where he's been indulgently messing around between his legs. Feeling empty and cold while naughty fingers reach around back, indulgently sliding into one of the deep pockets of Jay’s slacks, and fetching out the phone he feels resting inside.

Using one hand to type and the other to keep his dazed bunny friend from entirely collapsing, Jake woefully wishes he didn't have a shift to clock into or responsibilities to be done. Would much rather stay here and play with the cutest piece of fluff he’s ever seen (why was touching bunny tails not an activity included with work benefits?), but alas. He’d be back.

“Hope I see you around, bunny,” Jake winks one of those mesmerizing lime-green eyes, sharp fangs pressing into a plush rosy bottom lip, positively giddy. “Think about my offer, 'kay? Here’s my number—see? Jake the ssssnake~♡”

Jay barely registers anything that happens after that, not when he’s weakly pushing his boxes of belongings into his new apartment, moving at a pace that would put snails to shame, nor when he’s sitting on his furniture-barren hardwood floor, legs reduced to jelly sticks and heart a dizzy mess of culture shocked sensations.

He does know one thing, however.

Jake the snake was going to ruin his life.

✨🥕🧡🐇✨🐍🩷🥚✨

Is what Jay thought initially—judging by that chaotic twenty-minute portion of his move-in day.

But after that everything’s a blur, and it’s as if Jake the ssssnake~♡ vanishes from his apartment complex completely. Either that or they had drastically different schedules for leaving and entering their building.

It’s been nearly a week with the bunny’s poor heart racing and threatening to jump out of his ribcage every time Jay takes the elevator up to his floor, peeking around the hallway slowly, slowly…to see if the snake boy would pop up, just like he did that fateful day in front of their unit doors.

But Jake never does.

Sunghoon calls him crazy when he facetimes the snow leopard on the fifth day of his snake neighbor’s mysterious absent streak, and Jay shyly admits that he indeed does feel weird about not seeing Jake around.

Had it all been a dream? No way, right?

The bunny hybrid knows such a prospect is impossible, if only because he had spent an unhealthy amount of time staring at the contact saved in his phone under said mysterious snake boy’s designated alias. The kisses, the…touches…they had to be real.

How else was he supposed to explain why he couldn’t—stop…thinking about it—why those breathy giggles and piercing bright green eyes seemed to sneak up on him at all hours of the day, night…it made his tail tingle, and if bunny superstitions meant anything at all, that was not a good sign.

Jay ultimately sighs, shaking his head so convincingly long floppy ears move along with the motion.

“You don’t have to stare at me like that,” the bunny mutters, resting a heavy cheek against his palm as he nudges around the bowl of berries, carrots, and cabbage he had packed himself for lunch today. It’s all neatly tied up in a carrot-patterned bento wrap his mother no doubt snuck into his moving boxes. Oh, to be a real adult.

“Stare at you like what?” Sunghoon does a horrible job at disguising his very obvious grimace, the pale snow-dweller also digging into what looked like his own assortment of veggies, along with some almonds and other protein alternatives.

They were video chatting during their lunch breaks again, the recently graduated alumni waiting for their younger club members to drop in.

“Jjongsaeng, this is the second time you’ve brought up that lunatic of your own free will—it’s like you want him to appear before you again and leave nothing but bones!”

“No—I–I’m just curious, that’s all!” The bunny pouts, nibbling on a rather sour raspberry and making a face because of it. “I never did see him again…” he mumbles softly, more to himself than Sunghoon.

The other definitely catches it, however. For he does that thing where unfairly full and luxurious eyebrows only afforded to hybrids with snow coats furrow, unnerving icy-blue orbs bringing only a sense of comfort (and maybe the kind of judgment only a friend could give) now.

“Isn’t that a good thing?” The snow leopard asks incredulously, opening his mouth to add something else, yet his why do you want to see your dangerous snake neighbor who groped you in the hallway scolding lecture is promptly interrupted by an incoming call notification, one that Jay hops at the chance to answer so excitedly the bunny nearly drops a blueberry.

“Jungwon-ah! Sunoo-yah!”

“Hii hyung!” The blonde fox hybrid waves back just as happily, a slight peek of orange ears twitching behind him.

“Oh, sorry,” Jay whispers, lowering the volume of his voice when he spots them. “Is Wonnie sleeping?”

But to the bunny’s moderate surprise and major relief, Sunoo simply laughs and moves out of the way, revealing a determined Yang Jungwon with his phone screen held way too closely to his face. “No, he’s just trying to beat the level of this stupid game.”

“Not stupid,” Jungwon mumbles pointedly, tilting his phone in his grasp so hard it looks as if the baby tiger hybrid will break his neck. In the midst of his pretzel-contorting, however, the youngest does brightly chirp, “Hi Jay hyung, Sunghoon hyung~ How is work going?”

“Not bad,” Jay says at the same time Sunghoon mutters, “Despicable. All these stupid alpha predators think I’m one of them,” the snow leopard pretends to gag. “If I get invited to another barbecue event I think I’m going to lose it.”

It causes Sunoo to snicker into his palm softly. “If only they knew you faint at the sight of blood, hyung. The vegan club must have been a safe haven for you.”

But Sunghoon merely rolls his icy-blue eyes, stabbing at some poor lettuce leaves as he grumbles to himself quietly. For the above-average-sized snow leopard the other boy is, he much more resembles a pouty cub than some cruel apex predator.

Looks could certainly be deceiving, Jay muses, doing his best to ignore the intense green orbs and sparkling bright smile that tries to sneak up on him. His chest pulls with an emotion he doesn't even bother to try and begin decoding. Instead, the bunny hybrid’s own long ears perk up at the mention of their old university club. “How is recruitment going?”

Sunoo’s sunshine expression soon falls at the question, sighing. “Not good,” he admits, big fluffy fox ears drooping like a wilted flower. “No one takes me and Jungwonnie seriously! Sunghoonie hyung is a big baby, but at least he looks like a legit predator…he brought us credibility!—at least visually.”

Sunghoon’s quiet hey gets drowned out by Jungwon’s louder, moodily scoffed, “I’m a legit predator.”

Sunoo shakes his head. Here they go again. “Everyone thinks you’re a cat hybrid, Wonnie.”

“Not cat! Tiger! I could rip them all to fucking shreds!” Jungwon huffs, even going so far as to quit the level on his mobile game, and like this the tiger hybrid’s set of sharp canines is definitely visible. Clearly meant for tearing open tough meat and flesh.

(All that fuss just to cling to Sunoo’s side, however, and pout at Jay’s chiding Wonnie, language.)

“You’re a scary tiger to us.” Jay attempts to comfort the younger, sending a nasty look Sunghoon’s way when the snow leopard airily echoes us? around a mouthful of greens. “Okay–well, you’re a scary tiger to me,” the bunny corrects with a pointed glare.

Jay thinks the conversation is over until twitching fluffy ears pick up an amused and quietly huffed, “Right…the scariest tiger who you cut vegetables into bite-sized edible pieces for.”

“Park Sunghoon.” Jay is serious, because he even points a baby carrot at the screen in warning. That paired with a good mean bunny glare seems to shut Mr. Grumpy up, and Jay’s sharply angled eyes are back to soft pudding when he looks upon their younger members.

“Maybe we can come by on our day off and help hand out flyers,” the tanned boy offers kindly. “People did always like the contrast between me and Hoonie when we were recruiting.”

“That's true.” Sunoo hums as he excitedly recalls his own recruitment experience. “Seeing you two next to each other is like night and day! I mean, a bunny and a snow leopard in close quarters—lots of people thought Sunghoonie hyung was just faking it and was going to eat you sooner or later…but then he never did, so!”

And Jay can't help the loud burst of laughter he allows to escape tiny heart-shaped lips, the bunny covering his mouth to muffle the noise as he’s reminded of those silly times.

In the other corner of the group call Sunghoon’s handsome but pixelated face is much less amused, effectively done with his lunch and appetite at the prompted ungodly image.

“I wouldn't eat Jjongsaeng!” He stresses, brain-to-mouth filter no doubt weakened by the fatigue that is being surrounded by meat-eating predators all day, especially evident when he offhandedly blurts out, “Plus, how are you going to help hand out flyers if there's a Jay-shaped lump in some creepy snake's stomach!”

“I’m sorry, a what—in who?” Sunoo can only parrot the insanity of such a claim, and even Jungwon who was dozing off perks up a bit at the crazy one-liner.

“Idiot—not in front of the kids!” Jay hisses, wishing there was a setting on facetime where he could mute himself selectively, so that he could at least curse the snow leopard out country-bunny style.

“Haha, oops…” is all Sunghoon offers, at least having the shame to look a tad bit guilty. Yet here the excuses come. “I’m sorry, okay? I think I’m getting infected by all these alpha males’ icky pheromones,” he whines. “They’re making me aggressive! Jjongsaeng, don’t be mad…”

Admittedly, the tiny pout Sunghoon wears makes it hard to stay mad at the other boy. But that doesn’t stop Jay from nearly having a heart attack when Sunoo and Jungwon’s curious kit and cub faces are (unsurprisingly) barreling up to the camera of Sunoo’s phone, nosy like babies so often are.

“Hyung, come on, tell us! What creepy snake—you ran into a snake?! We’re not kids anymore, Wonnie can even drink now! We want to know pleaaaseee!” Sunoo pouts at him, and Jay swears he hears the blonde fox turn to the side just to fuzzily whisper Wonnie, quick, you do it, too!

The second Jungwon’s already saucer-like cat eyes begin to get even bigger and rounder, Jay knows he won’t survive. And so he does what any normal protective and responsible bunny hyung would—tucks his tail and runs away!

“Oh, would you look at that? An hour gone already—man, time flies. Talk soon—” whisper-hissing, “Park Sunghoon I swear on everything you love and hold dear if you tell them anything else I will end you!”

He waits for the snow leopard, who suspiciously looks like he’s going to die of laughter, to make a zip it and throw away the key motion next to his mouth.

“But hyung—”

“Have a good time in class, let me know how the recruitment troubles go—I’ll take a day off, okay? Love you guys, byeeee—” click.

Silence.

“Ugh.” Holding his dumb electronic device between jelly-limbed fingertips, Jay sighs like a bunny who has been living for two-thousand years, and not a measly twenty-two, before slowly beginning to pack up his bento box so that he can head back down.

Four more hours. Four more hours and then he would at least be at home, a single layer of drywall separating him from…the creepy snake, who he for some reason wanted to see one more time.

Just to check if the guy was real…y’know?

Okay, so Sunghoon was right.

He’s gone crazy.

✨🥕🧡🐇✨🐍🩷🥚✨

five days earlier 🕰️ ♡

“I’m sorry—you- what?”

Jake shifts his gaze, only registering some sort of shame because the ridiculously loud and horrified choking noise that just left his older friend’s mouth told him he probably should. Y’know—feel ashamed.

“He was just sssssooo cute, hyung,” the snake pouts as he lays in bed that same night, drawing a little pattern in front of him with a timid fingertip.

Despite his clearly logical reasoning, however, Felix simply continues to stare bewildered at him through his phone screen (currently propped up against his handy-dandy pillow).

Figuring his yellow chick hybrid friend was still sleepy (it was pretty early in Australia), Jake also dreamily adds, “Have you ever met a bunny before, hyung? This was my first time. I can’t believe they’re that adorable…and sexy. Fuck, he was unreal…I should marry him, right?”

“Jaeyun—” comes the exasperated sigh, along with a tiredly muttered, “this is why they keep snakes out of the bunny territories…”

Well—not exactly this reason, because typically Jake’s strong stomach acid would be working overtime to break down tender bunny meat right now. But, no. Instead—

“—You kissed him?”

“Like my life depended on it!” Jake grins, casually resting both cheeks against his knuckles now as he turns to lay on his stomach, feet kicking lazily in the air. Very high school girl vibes. (The man was twenty-two). “Also felt him up a little…just a bit~”

“I—…” Felix is speechless. Even considers that he might just still be half-asleep and heard Jake wrong. The I should marry him really did its job waking him up. “What do you mean by ‘a little?’” He scaredly croaks.

“Uh, well. I’m pretty sure that bunny is going to be my future wife so ‘m not really comfy including all the deets, bro,” the snake shrugs bashfully. “Just know it was really fucking soft—oh, and wet—”

“I don’t want to know all of that!” Felix is quick to exasperate, pinching the space between his eyebrows now as Jake throws his hands up with a mumbled okay, okay, chill. Good lord.

“Mate, listen here, yeah? Bunnies are a sensitive prey species, they aren't like predators who will fight back when getting dominated—they’re pretty easily scared off, actually,” the yellow chick tries to explain, only growing more concerned when he’s met with a completely lost expression in response.

As if Jake was asking, that’s cool and all, but what does that have to do with me and my future wife? Felix could see the question. Swimming in those empty green eyes. He sighs.

“In other words, especially as a predator species, you need to wait patiently for bunny hybrids to come to you.”

Properly confused, Jake tilts his head ten degrees to the left. “Did Chan hyung wait for you to come to him? Didn’t he push you against the wall of that cave and—”

“No. No.” At the mention of a certain carefree wolf hybrid, Felix coughs. “We’re not talking about that right now. Plus—you’re supposed to learn from our mistakes. One thing’s for sure he didn’t feel me up in a public hallway on the first meeting! I had also known Channie hyung forever by the time we mated. You just met this bunny.”

“Okay…well.” Stumped, Jake finally pouts, as if just realizing the abnormality of his chosen course of actions. If the Australian snake had external ears, they would surely be drooping sadly atop a mess of wavy dark hair. “Now what?”

Felix can only sigh again. His friend was too innocent for his own good. He’s also never seen Jake this insane about…well, anything for that matter. Much less any one. So this was likely a new experience for the both of them. Interspecies mating was also a fairly new phenomenon, especially between predator and prey species due to the inherent power imbalances. At the end of the day, bro was just following what his natural snake instincts told him to do when in love.

“You said you left your number, yeah?”

“Mhm,” the baby snake sulks droopily. “I even put a heart next to my name.”

“…Romantic,” Felix grimaces. If he was being honest, Jake is just lucky the poor bunny didn’t call the police on him. But for the sake of young love, he still tries to be optimistic for his hopeless friend. “All you can do now is wait, Jakey. Don’t pressure him, definitely don’t loiter around in the hallway like a little creep. Just—lay low. If he wants to reach out, he will.”

“But what if he doesn’t?” comes Jake's immediate heartbroken whine, split tongue lolled out of his mouth and a patch of scales creeping up one cheek, all things that only happened when a snake hybrid was in distress.

He doesn’t think he can stay away from his little bunny too long. They just met! What if someone else snatches him away? Jake nearly feels himself hiss defensively at the thought. It was totally plausible. That little fluffy bunny tail was too cute and tempting for its own—

“—Jake. Jakey, you’re shedding.” Felix points out awkwardly, gesturing to the layer of scales and skin that had just peeled off his friend’s arm. Oh boy. “At least wait a week, alright? One week. If he still doesn’t reach out by then, you can…loiter in the hall and try to apologize, I guess. Maybe just leave a note on his door, that would probably be less intimidating.”

That only seems to make Jake sulk even more, however, the poor snake pulling his layer of shed off and tossing it in the trash. “But if I don’t catch him in person, how are we supposed to have cute eggs together?”

What.

“Eggs? But bunnies don’t—” a tired, I’m wasting my breath pause. “You know what, nevermind. Just. One week of no pressure, lots of space, okay? Don’t forget!” Click.

Jake continues to stare sadly at his phone screen even after Felix hangs up their call, hopelessly looking at their Aussie Bro Nation group chat and wondering if he should at least try to call Chan as well.

As a wolf hybrid and fellow predator species, the older boy would have to understand him, right? The little fireworks that explode in your chest when that person is near, the fiery, desperate urge to just touch them all over, until it was clear to them and everyone else that they were undeniably yours…

Jake doesn’t think he’ll be able to last a week. Hell, he’d consider it a miracle if he manages to last three days without adorably soft bunny fluff between his grabby fingertips. But…

“Ugh…” groaning as he flip flops around in bed, the snake ultimately closes Aussie Bro Nation, and enters another chat. One he shared with his baby cousin Riki who was…in high school, if his mental math was serving him correctly.

Sometimes adults could overcomplicate love and crushes to the nines. Jake liked to consider himself young at heart.

The reply that comes nearly half an hour later (the brat must be ignoring him because Jake knew for a fact the young puma hybrid was always on his phone) is certainly not the one Jake wants. Actually, he hates it.

Sighing as he looks at the ? and lmao ofc that only ruthless teenager fingers could type out, Jake decides to lay in bed, kick his feet, and pout some more.

Time to wait for a bunny text or call, he guesses.

He hopes they come soon.

✨🥕🧡🐇✨🐍🩷🥚✨

present day + 1 🕰️ ♡

If Jay thought he was crazy before, nothing prepares him for what happens that next evening.

But for now, hauled up at his humble frontdesk job taking appointments at a small medicinal clinic, the bunny can only boredly click keys, fill out excel sheets, and hope that with enough dedication and years of experience, he’ll someday be promoted to help treat patients of his own.

He had his degree, of course- but big cities weren’t so kind to prey species. Many prejudices still existed about their intelligence and physical capabilities, nevermind that Jay graduated at the top of his class and major. Speaking English did help him out a bit with job prospects, though. Most prey species weren’t well-traveled, but thankfully his parents were very opportunistic. That included spending time in America for the primary half of his childhood.

Jay is only startled out of daydreaming at the sound of his phone going off, the bunny scooting his chair over to glance at the text notification.

Hee hyung 🩷 [4:31pm]

How are you doing at your big boy bunny job?

Homesick yet?

Shaking his head with a tender smile, Jay finds himself uselessly typing away. Heeseung was a fellow bunny he grew up with, a childhood hyung who always looked out for him, whether that be from scraped knees or being scared of the dark when Jay and the other kits would stay out too late playing at night.

Despite their age difference being rather miniscule (literally only six months, Jay would often bring up), Heeseung had effectively babied him his entire life—and so while they were both grown with big boy bunny jobs now, as the older liked to put it, a check-in text wasn’t out of the ordinary. Heeseung worked on the city council back in their hometown, and whenever he would send photos of the farmer’s markets or carrot fields it helped a lot.

Jongseongie 🖤[4:34pm]

Hyung, it hasn’t even been a week since I left >< if I was homesick already that would be kinda sad.

Anyway, I’m doing good! And eating a lot so don’t worry.

He decides not to tell Heeseung about his…snake problem, if only because he knew that would make the older bunny rush out here to the big city, and Jay never liked causing a big fuss. Plus, it wasn’t so much of a problem now as it was a mystery, where Jay is seriously considering he might’ve just dreamt the whole debacle up. He usually never dreams about…those kinds of activities, however, and so it was just weird.

Boredly scrolling through his contacts while he waits for Heeseung’s reply, pouty bunny features linger on the Jake the ssssnake~♡ tab line. Part of him wondered what would happen if he just called the number, or maybe sent a text. But what would he even say?

“—Fucking unbelievable.”

Buried in various snake problem thoughts, Jay doesn’t register that he’s being talked to until a hand slams down so roughly onto his desk the light bowl of assorted berries he saved from lunch jumps and wobbles with the bang. Jay also feels himself jump, the bunny is quick to put his phone away and sit up straight. “I apologize, what can I—”

“Can’t you useless fucks do anything?” The low growl comes from a rather ticked-off-looking grizzly hybrid, the bear standing at least three-times Jay’s size and probably five-times his weight, glowering down at the bunny like he’d just found gum stuck to the bottom of his shoe. “When did this place start hiring vermin? Disgusting.”

To the side of the enraged grizzly stands a young cub who could be no older than a few autumns, woefully clutching at his left ear. Looking closer, Jay is able to identify little sharp prickles embedded in the tender under part, probably porcupine spikes or something of the like.

Worried bunny hands wring themselves raw, because Jay knew he could treat a wound of such minor caliber—thoughts racing a mile a minute as he thinks about what he has on hand. There’s definitely some marigold ointment in his bag, paste he made from fresh flowers this morning. Along with his sterilized toolkit, which included a pair of medical-grade tweezers, and even a ziploc baggy of lollipops—to reward the brave cub when he was done. Although he doesn’t know if the little one would particularly like carrot-flavored candy as much as the babies do back home.

Jay knew he could do it—quickly, too. Much quicker than it would take for him to check the pair in, and have them wait a good thirty minutes just to see their clinic’s head physician, a kind, old lion hybrid who was skilled at his job but also very busy. The mere thought of letting such a young cub sit in pain when it wasn’t necessary has the bunny’s stomach flipping with conflict and anxiety. But one look at the adult grizzly’s face, expression harsh and judging, has Jay biting his tongue and bowing his head.

“My apologies, sir. I can check you in for an appointment right away.”

✨🥕🧡🐇✨🐍🩷🥚✨

Jay sighs rather heavily on his trek back home after a long shift. He’d just gotten off the main bus, but it was still a ten minute walk back up to his apartment complex. Tired steps feel like bricks on his feet, and being so mentally exhausted almost makes him miss it. Makes Jay think his eyes are playing tricks on him once again, when at the final stoplight before his street, two looming figures walk a small, fluffy thing into an alleyway.

But being raised amongst them for his entire life, Jay would recognize a little bunny kit anywhere.

“Hey! Wait!”

He doesn’t know what he’s doing, not really. When he jogs into the dark alleyway in search of trouble instead of away from it, going against every survival instinct in his being screaming at him to run away—that this was hardly his problem. He didn’t even know the kid! Yet Jay still finds himself going so far as to chuck his briefcase at the back of one of the looming figure’s heads, which upon first sighting have Jay shaking in his boots for the second time that week.

Because one turns around, hisses, and his eyes—those eyes.

They were different from Jake’s, much more golden yellow in color, with spot-patterned irises and even thinner pupil slits. But there was no mistaking what they were.

Snakes.

“Motherfucker,” the one he threw his bag at hisses again, nudging his buddy in the shoulder. “Looks like we have company.”

“I-Isn’t targeting children low even for your kind?” Fuck. I stuttered.

“What’s it to you?” His buddy grins lazily, and Jay nearly gasps when a dangerous hand reaches for the bunny kit’s neck, quickly calling out to the little one to come towards him. “This one yours or somethin’?”

“Hyung!” The child squeaks back, and Jay feels his heart squeeze at the familiar term despite this being their first time meeting. That’s right, this little bun could have been his. Whether his child or his baby cousin, they were both bunnies. It’s hopeless to stop the way his protective instincts soar.

“Come here, honey. I got you.” Kneeling down to protectively wrap his arms around the baby, Jay can only feel thankful that the two snakes let the kit run to him in the first place. Poor thing was shaking. Jay swallows thickly, sharply-angled eyes hardened rather boldly for how scared out of his wits he currently felt. “So what if he is?” He calls back daringly.

“They were gonna eat me, hyung,” the little one whispers in his ear, Jay immediately rubbing at the young bunny’s back soothingly as he shushes, “They won’t. I won’t let them, okay?”

He feels like he needs to do something, anything, especially when he feels a small furious nod in the crook of his neck. This little baby was counting on him. But…what—what was he supposed to do against these—

“Meh, who wants to eat that scrawny runt anyway,” one snake eyes him up and down, and Jay can’t stop himself from shivering. “You’ve got…much more meat on you, ain’t that right? Pretty thing you are.”

Jay feels his blood run cold, backing away slowly. It’s been a while since he’s had to run for his life, much less while carrying a small child with him, but what other choice did he have? If he made it out of the alleyway and back onto the main street where people were—surely, someone would…help them…right?

For some reason, that grizzly patron’s cruel words flash in his mind’s eye.

Can’t you useless fucks do anything right? Disgusting.

Jay feels his stomach drop.

“Hyung,” the older bunny doesn’t even realize he’s shaking until a tiny paw rests upon his chest, Jay nearly cursing when he sees his fear has spilled over onto the baby kit, whose little paw tightens in the material of his dress shirt. He tries to say something, anything, the words it’ll be okay right there—but those words ultimately get stuck in his throat when the snake’s buddy chuckles, and it’s only then that Jay sees how they’ve closed in on him, backed him into a wall—nowhere to run. He was so busy panicking, he—

“Go ahead, let the kid run along, babe. But you stay. Let’s have some fun together before dinner, shall we?” One makes a crude gesture with their hands, and it makes the other burst into screeching laughter.

A hand reaches for him, and Jay can only wrap his arms tighter around the little kit in his grasp, protecting the back of the baby’s head as he squeezes his eyes shut tight and—waits. And waits.

But nothing comes.

In fact, all Jay hears is the sound of two dull thuds before scared bunny eyes are finally shooting open, met with a broad back covered in a leather jacket, and ripped, shredded jeans—it’s hard to see in the dark, but someone is getting pulled up by the collar and shook around.

“Lame. Didn't your mothers ever teach you not to play with your food?” That voice.

“…J-Jake?” Jay clutches the young bunny tighter to his chest, squinting at the dark silhouette that’s just appeared before them.

A familiar, blinding grin. Lime-green irises, and sharp fangs. “Hi, bunny~♡”

Jay never thought that flirty, annoying voice would sound this heavenly, but it does—oh, thank god, it does.

Jake looks over at the baby kit Jay is cradling in his arms, and the older bunny can’t help but feel surprised—when all signs of playfulness in his expression fade away, instead replaced with a soft look, as Jake waves in tiny at the little one.

Jay feels the kit tuck a little further into his grasp, no doubt recognizing that another snake hybrid was in front of them. Yet it feels like hiding done more out of shyness rather than fear. And he even sees the little kit’s hand, hesitant to wave back.

Well, there goes his entire heart.

“Look like you’ve seen a ghost, darling.” Jay looks up when he hears Jake's teasing voice again, the snake holding both weariness and affection in those stark green eyes, walking closer. “Sorry I came so late. Were you very scared?” He pouts.

Jay is about to lie straight through his bunny teeth and deny that he quite literally almost peed himself, but he’s interrupted—can’t even process the sudden flash of movement, until-

“Jake, look out—!”

“Huh?—Shit,” the Australian winces at the almost burning sting, ripping elongated fangs from where they’ve just lodged themselves into his upper arm, tearing right through leather and piercing flesh.

“Ugly little bastard, fuck off,” Jay can only cover the kit’s curious ears to the best of his ability, shielding innocent bunny eyes as well when Jake takes a ring-adorning fist and pops the desperate half-conscious snake right in the nose, the distinctive crack sound that follows telling Jay everything he needed to know about whether that guy would be getting back up any time soon.

“Yeesh,” Jake sighs, shaking off his hand and flexing his fingers a bit as he mutters, “This is why no one likes vipers.”

“Are you—” alright, is what Jay wants to ask, watching concernedly as Jake grimaces and clutches at his injured arm. But it’s awkward– everything is. He’d been so keen on seeing this phantom snake again, but never in a million years had Jay imagined it would be like this.

“Why don't you take the little guy back to the main street.” Jake nods in the opposite direction, typing up something on his phone one-handedly. Man, his arm was starting to go numb. “‘m just sending in a report on these guys. I’ll be right there, bunny.”

One of the lumps on the ground makes a weak noise, and not willing to take anymore chances, Jake doesn’t think twice before stomping them back into the ground by the base of their spine, hard enough that the weak noise turns into a painful groan. “Just go to sleep man, you losers aren't beating me.”

“...T…Thank you!”

Startled, Jay and Jake both turn towards the owner of said tiny voice, Jake’s expression shifting from dark annoyance to a big glowing smile practically reminiscent of puppy hybrids when he leans over to catch sight of the baby bunny’s face. “Very welcome, little dude.”

Jay catches the way curious eyes linger on razor sharp fangs, but just like Jay, the little one seems to recognize that Jake was different- that the snake standing in front of them was nothing like those knocked out cold on the asphalt. And as Jay hesitantly turns away to walk them back out of the alley, the kit shallowly bows his head.

Jake smiles warmly at the baby bunny’s polite manners, and lets his own eyes linger on how good Jay looks carrying a child in his arms.

✨🥕🧡🐇✨🐍🩷🥚✨

When Jay calls in about the little kit, he’s thankfully met with good news.

Apparently, the baby had gotten snatched up in a busy crowd, and his parents have been worried sick in their frenzied pursuit. A humble bunny family, they weren’t from around here, living instead on the very outskirts of the city where things were calmer. Traveling from even further out in the farm fields himself, Jay understood their sentiments well.

The older bunny eventually finds an empty bench for him and the kit to rest at just outside of the alleyway. The little one looks tired and weary, so Jay thinks to give him a carrot lollipop from his bag. Only to belatedly remember—

Oh, yeah. He threw it at one of the guy’s heads. He would need to go back for it later.

Instead, Jay does what he can to soothe the kit’s head, petting down fluffy ears, gently rubbing at the child’s back, like his own mother so often did for him. Jay almost feels as if he’ll fall asleep himself, until he’s nearly startled half to death by a face appearing smack dab in the middle of his line of sight.

“Shh,” Jake holds a finger in front of Jay’s tiny lips and points to the curled up bundle in Jay’s arms, winking as he advises, “Little dude’s sleeping. Don’t wanna wake him up.”

Frowning, Jay wishes he was feral enough to nip unkindly at Jake’s finger, but instead he just glares at the snake and leans away. He’s about to tell Jake the proper manners when approaching others, until he catches sight of the small briefcase clutched in one of Jake’s hands, which the snake boy presents to him proudly once he notices Jay staring at it.

“Oh! Yeah, I found this back there. It’s yours, right?”

Nodding, Jay almost feels the need to squint from how brightly the snake is beaming at him, still finding lime-green irises and black slits a bit unnerving, but more so feeling awkward—that- this. Everything.

Still, babies came before breakdowns about snake boys. “Could you, um, hand me a carrot lollipop from inside my bag?”

The way Jake blinks at him with absolutely nothing behind those lime-green eyes has the bunny sighing with deflated shoulders, however, reaching one hand out for his bag while the other does its best to support the sleepy kit laying on his chest. “Just give it here.”

“Sorry,” Jake laughs, sticking his tongue out sheepishly. He looks silly and harmless, like a stuffed toy snake rather than a real killer one, and Jay can't begin to fathom how this was the same boy who- who—

“How ‘bout we trade? Bag for baby.”

“Wha-…” Jay admits he’s confused for a hot second, yet once he understands the other’s proposed switch, he can’t help the way his natural instincts have him hesitating—even feeling suspicious and wary.

But one glance at the rips in Jake’s leather jacket sleeve, and the tiny cuts he can see peeking through the material override any suspicions with immediate guilt. No matter how…weird he was, Jake still saved them. If he hadn’t come—well. The bunny simply doesn't want to think about that.

Jay slowly leans forward to transfer the sleepy kit into Jake’s stiff but endearingly sincere arms, instructing the snake on how to properly hold him. “Support his head, be gentle.”

Surprisingly or unsurprisingly, the small kit latches onto the white tank Jake is wearing underneath his jacket rather quickly, paw clutching at the thin material as he snuggles into his new cradle.

“He’s so cute,” Jake whisper-yells excitedly, and Jay huffs a tiny laugh. It was pretty cute. “I think he likes me…!”

Rummaging in his bag for the carrot candy, Jay glances over at the relaxed state the baby bunny is in, as well as how Jake’s arms haven’t moved one millimeter from where Jay had positioned them earlier, and smiles softly.

“I think so, too.”

✨🥕🧡🐇✨🐍🩷🥚✨

“Bye-bye, hyungs!”

“Bye!!” Jake waves cheerfully at the little kit (with his good arm), even expending energy to jump up and down a bit as the small baby is carried away in his mother’s arms. Her weary steps are guided by her husband and the lioness service member that’s been assigned to escort them home safely.

Jay waves goodbye a tad more reservedly, a gentle look flittering in the tanned boy’s pretty eyes as he watches the kit enjoy his carrot lollipop while his mother seats them in the back of the service car, still fussing profusely over her lost baby.

There was some commotion at first, especially when the kit’s parents had arrived only to see a snake holding onto their baby son, but Jay’s presence as a fellow bunny hybrid surely helped smooth things over, and when they saw just how soundly their little one was sleeping in Jake’s careful arms, they were inconsolable. Not a single scratch to be seen on that precious baby bunny’s head.

After the service car disappears around the block and the two unlikely neighbors are standing at opposite ends of their apartment complex’s elevator, Jay hovers around awkwardly, looking over Jake’s tattered clothing and the two fang-sized gashes present on the boy's sleeve where he’d gotten viciously bitten into earlier.

Jake seems to notice his anxious squirming because he curiously asks, “What’s wrong, bunny?” After a split second, however, he's gasping and flailing like he might just fall over. “Wait—they didn't hurt you anywhere, did they! I came just in time, right? Right? Ugh, stupid Felix hyung—”

“No—no, I-I’m fine,” Jay clears his throat and shakes his head, wants to ask who the heck Felix hyung is, but instead stiffly gestures to the bite holes torn through the snake hybrid’s leather jacket, which now that he looked closer, were outlined red in rings of dried blood. “Your arm…” the bunny mumbles. “Let me- uh, I can treat it. For you.”

But as the elevator doors open on their floor, and they walk out, stand in the same hallway that he—they

Jay doesn’t know what it is—whether it’s the sight of Jake in this exact spot, the one he’d been waiting- or, expecting to see the snake appear all week, or if it’s the nerves of realizing that everything that just happened, happened.

He doesn’t understand why he feels like crying again either, when Jake gives him a sympathetic smile, one hand already on his own door’s lock pad as he softly but quickly declines, “Oh—no, that’s okay. Viper venom really isn’t that strong on me. Thank you, though. And I’m glad you’re safe.”

“But—” what are you doing? Jay swallows, eyes downcast, wringing his hands raw on the strap of his briefcase as fluffy ears begin to droop against his will. A clear sign of disappointment. “I studied herbal medicine in school…I– the bite could get infected, if not cleaned properly…” the bunny trails off, voice becoming more awkward and timid the longer he doesn’t hear a word said back.

Just breathing. And then a tiny thud.

“Jake?”

Looking up, Jay frowns at the hazy look in the snake’s usually crystal clear green orbs, noting how pale Jake’s complexion had become, and the thin layer of sweat coating the other boy’s forehead, which was now resting up against the cold metal of their unit doors.

“What’s wrong?” The bunny questions, taking a step closer. “Are you alright?”

“Hm? Yeah- I’m fine, I think I…” The snake blinks hard, as if trying to wake himself up—and if not for the hand still clutching at his door’s keypad he would have surely fallen over. Alarmed, Jay puts his hands out cautiously, coming closer even as Jake sluggishly denies, “‘m just a bit dizzy, bunny, I’m alright. Think I just need—to…lay down…”

“Y…You’re obviously not—” thud.

Jay stills, breath hitching in his throat at the sudden dead weight on his right shoulder—where the snake boy was now breathing softly, and even burning up a little. God.

“See, I told you…" the bunny grumbles the words to himself after a couple of stunned seconds, worriedly glancing at the other boy and immediately inputting his own door code, shuffling forward as best as he can with a whole hybrid resting against him. “I knew you weren’t okay…”

 ✨🥕🧡🐇✨🐍🩷🥚✨

The first thing the bunny hybrid does once he finally manages to settle Jake onto his tiny two-seater couch is carefully remove the boy’s shoes and outer layers.

Without his heavy leather jacket concealing him, Jake’s figure is rather slender, yet still toned and lean in a way Jay didn’t expect. He has no time to feel embarrassed that the other boy is in but a thin tank top before him, however, Jay physically recoiling as he closely inspects jagged, torn skin.

That’s right, Jake had recklessly ripped the viper’s fangs from his arm, dislodging them by force, so it only made sense the gash looked more like horizontal slits than simple puncture holes. How in the world was Jake just walking around like this for nearly an hour while they helped the little kit get home?

“Stupid…” Jay huffs the worried grumble to himself even as he fluffs up two pillows to help elevate and support the snake hybrid’s legs and neck.

Once that’s situated, the bunny is lowering his head to press against Jake’s chest and gripping gently but firmly at one of Jake’s wrists, checking the Australian boy’s pulse and heart rate.

Ba-dum. Ba-dum. Ba-dum.

Slowed but steady. A good sign.

Still, the bunny runs from room to room in his apartment rather hectically, Jay flipping through old recipe textbooks and nearly taking apart his entire herb and botanical collection searching for the right topical combination. He needed to quickly clean the bite wound and neutralize any venom Jake suffered. Applying something to promote natural skin healing would be important, too.

It takes a bit of time clearing the cuts of dried blood, but laying a warm towel over the wound to help reintroduce moisture, and some swabbing of marigold antiseptic does the job.

The next thirty minutes or so have the bunny sitting on his living room carpet, grinding spiral ginger roots into the right paste consistency before applying the herb ointment generously over the entire area, whispering small sorrys when he sees the Australian boy’s brows furrow at the initial sting. Jay lets the wound breathe for a short while more before carefully wrapping Jake’s upper arm in soft gauze and securing the wrap with cloth afterwards.

The first few tries the wrap doesn’t feel perfect, so Jay takes it off and does it over again until it does. Careful not to move Jake’s arm, but wanting to make sure it was adequately protected. Thankfully, color had already started to return back into Jake’s face, so that did wonders to help calm the bunny’s nerves.

Jay spends the rest of the time swaddled in a light throw blanket, curling into a ball at the edge of the couch after preparing some anti-inflammatory pills for Jake that would help with the pain, setting a full glass of water on the table by the snake boy’s head.

He figured Jake would wake up soon, but for now, in the calm of the late night, heart and body protected by the thin cover of a glorified bed sheet and thoughts too loud to ignore, Jay finally allows the day’s crazy events to sink in.

Finally allows Jake to sink in, to be honest.

Existence confirmed, Jay thinks to himself, unsatisfied and wondering why it didn’t feel more like the crazy scientist ah-hah! moment he thought it would.

Maybe it had to do with the fact that like this, the snake hybrid looked so peaceful and serene, so different from the hyper almost puppy-like energy Jake usually emitted, some things still didn’t feel real.

But thinking about it now, ever since their first meeting Jake strangely resembled just that—an excitable puppy who tackled him to the floor and started licking his face everywhere.

Pressing his cheek into his palm, Jay briefly wonders if the Australian boy is mixed with something. Not that puppy and snake hybrids could procreate, obviously. But if there ever were a mix of the two, Jay thinks Jake would win that puppy-snake contest rather easily.

With all the time in the world to simply stare at the snake sleeping peacefully, Jay also has time to acknowledge other things.

Other things like Jake’s defined chest and tapered waist, broad shoulders, toned arms. The warm peachy tone of Jake’s skin, how strong his eyebrows were, blonde as they may be. Even the litter of star-like freckles and the healthy, relaxed flush that hugged the other boy’s cheeks—they were all so…cute.

Like this, it was impossible to deny how handsome the snake hybrid's features were. From a strong and high nose bridge, to thick rose-petal lips—lips that Jay had somehow felt firsthand, up close and personal. The bunny shivers as he recalls how Jake’s mouth seemed to devour him, how easily Jake had cornered him against a wall and rubbed his fingers up against—

“Nnm—” there was an odd feeling in his tummy, Jay realizes, anxiously pressing down on his lower stomach. It almost…hurt, was almost painful—but not quite. Instead, like an uncomfortable ache, the sensation made his thighs press together and his face feel hot. Why…

Jay didn't get it. Didn’t understand anything when it came to the anomaly of a snake hybrid sleeping in front of him. Not even the bunny’s own feelings seemed to make any sense to him at this point- and they were just that, his own. Jake was somehow nothing and everything like the dangerous and scary snake hybrids his mother warned him about. And for the life of him, Jay didn’t understand how that could be.

Looks like he would continue to not understand, however.

Because right then Jake stirs, groaning as he stretches awkwardly and tries to sit up. “Ugh, what happened…”

“Sit up slowly,” Jay pops right out of snake boy crisis mode in favor of supporting Jake’s back, handing him the glass of water and pain medications he prepared earlier, and nodding at the tiny thank you the snake mutters as he swallows them down.

“Hey,” Jake experimentally moves his arm around in awe, as if just noticing the wrap. “It doesn’t even hurt!”

At the quickly given assessment, Jay feels his posture straighten with pride, fluffy tail practically wiggling underneath his blanket. But Jake didn’t need to know that.

“I told you, I majored in the usage and application of medicinal herbs. I know a thing or two about treating wounds.”

(Nevermind that he was unfamiliar with snake venom, and almost had a panic attack figuring out what herbs to use. But it seems to have worked! So Jake didn’t need to know that, either.)

“That’s…really cool,” the Australian boy blinks at him from across the couch, blonde eyebrows raising with genuine curiosity. “So is that like, your job?”

“Well—no,” Jay hesitantly admits, posture slouching once again. He looks like a deflated dumpling. “N-Not yet, anyway. But it will be soon!” He says, unsure if he was trying to convince Jake or himself.

Jay waits for the inevitable teasing after that, waits for the usual jeers and jabs he’s dealt with as a prey species interested in a predator-dominant field like medicine. Yet like many things today, the bunny’s grandiose expectations never come.

Instead, unique glittering green eyes shine with sincerity as they look up at him, and the snake boy is excitedly claiming with almost unyielding confidence,

“You’ll make a great bunny doctor! Five stars.” Jake grins, moving his bandaged arm around again for emphasis.

And Jay can’t help it- not the way he feels his face get distinctly warm, nor the quickened beating of his flimsy heart.

No one’s ever…told him that before—not even his parents, although he’s sure they also think so. It’s with shy humility that Jay realizes he just treated his first patient, and what’s more they were happy with his service. It meant a lot. More than Jake will probably ever know, honestly.

“Thank you,” the bunny eventually mumbles in a soft voice, looking down at the gauze strips in his lap.

When he does finally find the courage to look up, Jay is startled to find Jake relaxedly leaning his head back against the couch, just staring at him. This stare doesn’t feel as intimidating though, not like it did during their first meeting. When Jake had—yeah.

“A-And I have a name, you know,” Jay feels the need to point out, not sure if he’s ever even introduced himself to Jake properly, cheeks still burning a natural powdery pink. “It’s Jay—not…bunny,” he mutters, looking the other way.

Jake raises his bleached eyebrows at that, grinning softly, and the bunny can’t help but think he’s made a grave mistake, when Jake giggles a bit and says, in a low, indulgent tone, “Okay. Well, you look really cute when you blush, Jay.”

“I-I’m not…you—you’re the–!” Breathe. Breathe. Why couldn’t he breathe? Why was—Jake wasn’t even sitting near him- no, much the opposite, the snake hybrid was still chilling on the other end of the couch. So why did he feel so…ugh.

That odd feeling was back. A bothersome thing stirring in the deepest depths of his stomach, almost as if he was anticipating Jake touching him like last time, but…the snake doesn’t. Instead, he just sits and stares at him, rather fondly if Jay did try to interpret the whimsy look.

Half-lidded and mesmerizing, green pools of diluted jade seem to pour into him, Jay allowing himself to get lost and wondering, faintly, if he had…

No. No way. This couldn’t be imprinting.

He was far too grown for such—such baby -like behavior, plus- this was different. It was like Jake’s mere presence made his instincts go hot, wanting more than anything to experience that same intense fuzzy feeling- of being held down, repositioned, touched.

And it felt bad—for some reason, that Jake wasn't doing any of that. Wasn't even attempting to, like taking one bite out of him their first meeting was enough. Like he didn't want any more. If not for the venom’s side effects, they probably wouldn't even be here, sitting on opposite ends of Jay’s worn out sofa, Jake looking at him. But that’s it.

It wasn't enough.

“Well, I should—”

He’s trying to leave again. Without even…

“–You’re not…” Jay can’t help the little confused frown he’s wearing as he speaks up, arched brows slightly furrowed, unaware of how fluffy bunny ears have started to slowly droop downwards once more. A sure sign of disappointment. “Like…last time…” the tanned boy trails off, so quiet his inquiry is barely audible.

“Hm?” Jake blinks as he takes in the bunny’s wilted demeanor, finding everything about it– everything about Jay, so unbelievably cute and endearing, yet still trying to be on his best behavior. The snake hybrid knew he wouldn’t be able to hold back if such a soft gorgeous body was within arm’s reach, so he made sure to sit a little further. Hadn’t even planned on—being here, really.

There was still one more day to go before the week of no pressure was up, and while truthfully he’d already failed- he doubts Felix would scold him for beating up two dusty weirdos trying to eat his bunny. Appalling. He hopes they both get eaten by bears.

Like—was he currently staring at the smooth expanse of Jay’s honey-toned neck, the tiny opening of the bunny’s lips every time Jay spoke, the dramatic curve of wide breeding hips from where they jut out beneath the blanket Jay’s used to cover himself? Yes. Very much so. Fucking totally.

But he was trying to be good, remember?

It’s hard to hear whatever Jay is mumbling about, too, but Jake is sure he hears the words last time, and feels the slight pinch of shame burn in his face at the mention.

“Oh, yeah- I’m um, really sssssorry by the way, about e—uh-?” the snake blinks again, words catching in his throat when Jay lets the blanket he’d had wrapped around him fall.

And, yeah—Jay was fully dressed, silk shirt, pressed slacks. But now there was nothing to hide the bunny hybrid’s soft feminine curves, nothing to stop greedy black slits from staring at the belt cinching in the fucking insanity of Jay’s tiny waist.

No, the bunny completely abandons his little blanket cocoon in favor of crawling towards his side of the couch. Jake already has his thigh pressed against the arm rest. He didn’t have anywhere further to go. But Jay still sits prettily on his heels, legs tucked underneath him so his thighs looked extra thick, stops just before he’s practically planted in Jake’s lap. Really only has to swing one leg over and sit his gorgeous ass down on top of him—

Jay’s still mumbling, but this close up Jake can hear the bunny just fine. Can even see the way the tanned boy’s cheeks darken, get hotter, when he asks, “You’re not going to do…what you did last time…?”

And Jake thinks he knows– thinks he understands. But Jay had also just been standing picking up boxes that fateful day, and if Jake didn’t have a shift at the lab, he isn’t confident that he would’ve stopped at a little groping. Isn’t confident that he wouldn’t have fucked both of those little bunny holes right there in the hallway.

So he wanted to be sure.

“Hm? What do you mean?” Jake breathes out, settling a hand on the small of Jay’s waist to stop the bunny from coming any closer, and biting his lip at the little sound Jay makes in response to the miniscule contact, sensitive as ever. Fucking hell.

“The kisses…” the bunny hybrid whispers embarrassedly, like it was some kind of dirty secret punishable by death. He’s got one hand clutching onto the edge of Jake’s tattered jeans, delicate fingers curling into the rips for support. “I…you haven’t…ah—”

Jake’s started rubbing a slow pattern into one of Jay’s hips, can’t help himself, not when the flesh underneath his fingertips feels like plush marshmallows and fluffy clouds, all things you’d want to squish endlessly, until someone forced you to stop.

“You want kisses, bunny?” he asks softly.

Say yes. Say yes. Say yes.

This was so embarrassing, Jay thinks, head spinning, face so warm he feels sick, yet there doesn’t seem to be any kind of herb in existence to help fix what’s wrong with him– at least not one that doesn't come in the form of a cute boy with wavy brown hair and a broad chest, leaning back into his couch cushions in nothing but a fitted white tank top, eyes-half lidded, pretty lips flushed and bitten at.

No, Jay is so sure kisses will cure whatever sickness he’s experiencing. So sure that it hurts when, even as he swallows his pride and slowly nods yes, that isn’t enough.

Because Jake tilts his head, pretty freckles scrunching along with a coy smile as the snake encouragingly whispers, “Show me, then…how bad you want it.”

Jay feels torn between cursing the Australian boy out and whining at Jake to just kiss me already, damn you!

Thankfully, Jake said to show not tell, because Jay doesn’t think he could ever say it out loud. What he was feeling.

The bunny can, however, throw one leg over Jake’s thighs, letting hazy instincts guide him as he sits himself down in the other boy’s lap, leans forward, and arches his back- just a bit, squeaking when two strong palms squeeze his ass and use that grip to pull him closer.

“Didn’t know bunnies were this needy,” Jake laughs softly, like he hasn't been waiting for this moment all fucking week. And then he's leaning in impossibly closer, practically purring in contentment when a small mouth and smooth pink bunny tongue are cutely presented to him. Fuck, he missed this.

“But how can I say no when you’re being so cute?” He murmurs. “C’mere, bunny.”

Yeah…bunny. Being called bunny wasn’t so bad, not when Jake said it.

“Mmm—ahh…” Jay can’t hold in the whiny sigh of satisfaction that leaves him, not when he feels Jake’s long textured snake tongue slither into his mouth and fill him all the way up, pretty bunny eyes glazing over and fluttering shut at the tingly feeling of kissing—of being kissed again. For the second time.

This feeling, finally.

The little antsy scratching that’s been bothering him these past few days, this past week—seemingly melts away with Jake’s feathery touch, replaced with a warmth so palpable it’s like Jay can feel it being steadily poured into his tummy with every wet, open-mouthed press of the snake’s thick plushy lips.

He should feel ashamed, Jay can't help but think—when he automatically arches into Jake’s hold, lets Jake grab him by the back of his neck and push their faces in closer. Jake leans forward, practically tilting the bunny’s head all the way back just so he can insistently thrust his tongue further down Jay’s embarrassingly willing throat.

But despite being bent in a C-curve like a pretzel, Jay sits comfortable and pliant in the snake hybrid’s lap, shivering at the tingling feeling of Jake's long split tongue lewdly coiling around his own, playing around in his mouth, devouring him. Just like before.

It should be kind of gross, especially when Jake pulls away and their mouths are still connected by a clear string of their shared saliva.

And it is—Jay swears it is, yet he still finds himself puckering his lips anyway, helplessly chasing for more sloppy gross kisses, that same fluttery feeling appearing in his tummy when Jake grins at him with his sharp fangs, gently wipes at the corner of his mouth with his thumb, and softly groans, “Ahh, shit. You’re so cute. Gettin’ all wet from a couple kisses…”

It’s only when the snake says so that Jay feels it, how hot and sticky it is between his legs, slacks completely drenched through with sweetly scented bunny slick—so much coming out there’s even a big wet spot on Jake’s distressed bleached jeans. It’s so sensitive down there the poor thing whines when Jake grabs him by the hips and scoots him back, sliding the center of Jay’s wet squishy cunt down his thigh in the process, although he was just trying to help the bunny take off his soaked outerwear.

“Ah- what—” Jay mumbles, entire face flushed, mind a haze of heated desires and rationality that’s hanging on by a pathetic withering thread. The bunny’s consciousness is only lifted from its drunken kiss-coma because Jake’s tongue was no longer in his mouth, and his legs were suddenly cold.

Jake makes quick work of the bunny boy’s dress slacks and briefs before repositioning dead limbs so that Jay is laying on his back, sinking comfortably into the couch cushions, while Jake is on the floor, kneeling between smooth legs. Jay has them closed, a shy little thing- but even like this, Jake can see, better yet smell that sweet strawberry-honey nectar, absolutely dripping down soft, slightly chubby thighs.

“Oh, darling. You’re a mess.” The snake boy sighs, mesmerized gaze now more black than light green as sharp pupils dilate, getting infinitely rounder. Through it all, he’s still able to recognize his poor bunny is shaking, and diligently pushes up on his elbows to give Jay a couple more kisses, affectionate and all-consuming. Jay seemed to like kisses.

“Tongue out, bunny,” he whispers, waiting to see that tight mouth open up for him, a cute pink tongue sticking out, before fitting his bigger lips around the soft appendage and sucking repeatedly, insistently. Keeps at it until Jay whines that he can’t breathe, he’s going to die and Jake is finally pulling away with a pretty giggle, taking in the bunny hybrid’s absolutely ruined facial expression and unable to hold back the innate urge to tease his little prey.

“And to think, you first looked at me like you were scared I was going to eat you,” the snake chuckles, using one hand to tilt the panting bunny’s head up, side-to-side, inspecting kiss-swollen lips, a chin that’s shiny with copious amounts of their swapped saliva, and Jay’s permanently rosy cheeks. Even fluffy ears are all loose and limp, like the bunny was out for commission from a little intense making out.

“Now look at you…such a baby,” he wipes at Jay’s mouth for him again, amused when the bunny finally comes to life a bit, swatting his hand away.

“Whatever,” the tanned boy scoffs, yet it’s the cutest sound Jake’s ever heard. Much more like a pouty huff. “Technically, you could…! Every bunny knows—if you wanted to, all that would remain is my bones…” He sounds even more pouty, now- as if really imagining being a skeleton in the snake boy’s tummy. “But- you…you like me, right? You won’t eat me?”

God, he’s so cute.

“Silly bunny,” Jake shakes his head, amusement showing on handsome features in abundance. “‘M not too sure about all other types, but your kind,” he bops Jay right on his cute bunny nose, “isn’t included in northern water snake diets.”

Which is what Jake was, obviously.

“Water…snake…” Jay echoes intelligently. He remembers the species very faintly from that intro to predator anatomy course. They primarily lived and hunted near water, meaning…

“Oh.” Oh.

“Yep~ But if you want to make me dinner like a good bunny wife that badly, I like seafood. Minnows, crayfish, lobster…I guess we eat birds or frogs sometimes, but only on ssssspecial~ holidays.”

“Oh…” Jay says, again, tucking the information away in his brain for when he means to ask Jake when his birthday was. Or whatever holidays water snakes celebrated. The good bunny wife comment seems to go right over his quickly overheating head, however, because something else hits him. And this time, Jay feels it—his face literally burning. On fire. Him.

“So then, when you said…y-you’d be gentle…if you ate me—” the bunny squeaks, and Jake only makes a show of licking over his plump bottom lip, eyes trailing downwards as a dopey grin settles upon the snake’s handsome boyish features.

“‘Might get a little rough, though,” he admits truthfully, voice low and crackly in his throat, feeling saliva pool in his mouth just thinking about it. “'Cause I know that pussy’s gonna taste like heaven. And I don’t even like sweets!”

Before the poor bunny can even register what’s happening next, Jake is standing, lithe arms flexing a bit, hands thoroughly feeling up the backs of prettily tanned thighs as he excitedly moans, “I can have a taste, right, bunny?”

“What? But it’s—I’m dirty, I-I was at work all day!” Jay squeaks, squirming around and gasping when Jake forcibly spreads his thighs open anyway, the bunny hybrid whining as he tries to cover himself.

So much for trying to be on his best behavior, Jake thinks. Oh, well. Felix would understand.

“J-Jake—”

“That’s even better? ‘Wanna taste you, not some frilly soap,” the snake hybrid interrupts and scoffs like that much should be obvious, what can only be described as a deranged look reflecting in neon green orbs. “Lemme see how cute you are, babe.”

“F-Fuck, wait—” Jay whines at the other boy, cheeks pink, and Jake thinks it might be the first time he’s heard the bunny curse aloud. This is bad- that was adorable, too. “It’s not cute—”

“Yeah? Says who?” Jake has no problem leaning the majority of his weight forward to keep Jay’s thick thighs spread open, using both hands to firmly pin down flailing wrists, leaving his cute bunny wife completely bare down there for him to gaze at. And, oh—

“You’ve got a gorgeous pussy, baby…” Jake breathes out the praise as he moves down, the bunny’s flailing quickly reduced to some form of humiliated petrifaction. Jay only moving and squeaking again, throwing in a little jump when curious touchy fingers snuggle into the center of his folds before fully cupping the adorable squishy bulb in his palm.

“Oh, fuck me,” Jake moans loudly, “it’s so soft and wet.”

The snake hybrid doesn’t waste a second after that, feeling lower for the bunny’s tight opening and smoothly pushing two long fingers straight up that warm, gooey pink mess. Even watching with sparkling eyes as the round, slightly chubby bulb trembles and gushes sweet sticky slick at the simple intrusion, truly like a little toy.

“Oh—oh-” the bunny moans with his tongue out, breathing faint and uneven as Jake’s invasive fingers sink deep inside to the very last knuckle, blunt tips pressing upwards and putting firm pressure right around his tummy before experimentally thrusting—in, out, in, out a few times. Using his hole. Jay absolutely whimpers, supple and pretty tanned thighs spasming with the unfamiliar stimulation, because he’s never—

“First time getting your little cunt fingered, huh? Cute~”

“I—hate you,” Jay manages to gasp, just as his honest pussy oozes another puddle of sticky slick, the sweet scent almost dizzying at this point. What was wrong with him?

“Really?” Jake all but giggles, sensual gaze naughty and half-lidded. “You don’t seem to hate me down here~”

He swoops all the way in and swivels his fingers around to emphasize as such, pressing right up against sensitive squishy walls, fangs biting into a plush bottom lip at the little sob Jay immediately lets out. Screw it, he couldn’t wait anymore. Snake tongues usually required a bit more prep- but his sexy bunny could handle it, right?

Jay seems to panic again when he drops to his knees, however, usually calm demeanor completely shattered as he hoarsely cries out, “Wait, y-you’re seriously—”

The bunny doesn't even get to finish, because Jake is roughly pulling that fat ass towards the edge of the couch, a vice grip befitting of a predator species grabbing possessively at attractively wide hips. Claiming their meal.

Jay feels his voice get stuck in his throat when he looks down, sees those strong hands, Jake’s gorgeous forearms, peachy skin bulging cool blue veins all over as the snake exerts the smallest bit of strength to manhandle his bunny prey into the exact position he wants him in.

And Jay can only whimper uncomfortably as the Australian boy pushes his knees up until they sit by droopy, trembling bunny ears, essentially folding him in half, revealing fucking everything.

A cute chubby pussy gets put on full display, wet folds even spreading open a bit by themselves from just how wide Jay’s legs have been forced open. And like a cherry on top of a hefty vanilla scoop, a petite tiny asshole winks at him cutely, Jay’s sweet slick making smooth tanned skin shine and glisten like it’d been rubbed down with honey. Just dripping.

“Two cute baby holes…” Jake sighs dreamily, like this- Jay, was everything he’s ever wanted. “Oh, you’re just perfect. We’re perfect for each other, bunny, you’ll see. I can’t wait to slither my tongue into your womb, check it out for myself. Ah! Better yet- I'll fill your womb with eggs. My eggs. You’ll take them, right, Jay-yah?” He flutters his eyelashes, expression bright and hopeful.

Jay thinks he’s finally lost it. Or maybe that was twenty minutes ago, when he asked his gropey snake neighbor to kiss him. Still, how did they end up here?

“What? I don’t—e-everything you just said made no sense a-and was really fucking weird—” the bunny sputters, holes clenching and trembling as Jake’s glittering eyes feast upon him, upon his– most delicate places, the snake bringing his mouth up so close Jay can feel every puff of hot breath, ticklish against his sensitive skin. “Jake,” he whines embarrassedly.

“Sorry, sorry,” the Australian hums, admittedly got a bit too distracted by the pretty pink holes on clear display just for him. Getting his bunny wife pregnant on the second meeting was a little much, wasn’t it? He’d play around a bit, get Jay's gorgeous body warmed up to the feeling of being filled up and fondled. And when his lovely bunny was ready to carry and pop out a batch of cute snake eggs, he’d happily dump them all right in.

For now, at least in Jake’s mind, they were married. Jay hadn’t protested to being his wife, and having cute babies was naturally next up on the list. Something that would happen in due time- maybe next week? He didn’t want to give his poor bunny a heart attack.

Yes, for now…

“Thank you for this heavenly meal.”

—is all the warning Jay is afforded, before the snake is letting his long thick fork-ended tongue loll out of his mouth.

And then Jake happily spreads soft pink flesh open with his fingers, starting at the very bottom and licking a flat hungry line right up the center of Jay’s squishy wet cunt. He starts slurping obscenely when he reaches a throbbing clit, paying no mind to the way Jay throws his head back into the couch cushions and whimpers like he’s being tortured.

Jake’s tongue felt—so…weird, so, so weird down there, moving around. For one it was hot, so warm and almost slimy feeling that when Jay feels the snake’s plush lips suck at the top part of– there, is subjected to having such sensitive flesh mercilessly flicked around and messed with, Jake licking over the swollen bundle repeatedly, incessantly—he doesn't know what happens—

“Mmh—” the bunny sniffles, legs kicking, “w-wait, I—can’t—!”

The second Jake finally pulls back, a burst of clear slick splashes him in the face, Jay’s pussy convulsing with a nice sweet orgasm, and the snake boy can’t help but sigh with a fond smile, red hearts in his eyes.

“Aye~ squirting already? Haven’t even put anything in ya yet, m’love.” Jake teases him, licking over his own slick-covered lips and chin as he leans down to kiss at Jay’s trembling overstimulated clit softly, giggling when the bunny flinches at the simplest naughty touch.

“Hmm. You’re so sensitive. We’re gonna have to train your pussy ‘kay? Make you cum a lot, so she can take a bit more. Don’t worry, I’ll help you~”

Jake dives right back in after that, and the bunny can't help but think he’s let a complete menace into his heart. Feels his eyes swirl when the Australian boy lowers his head, slithers his long drool-dripping tongue between slippery wet folds, and begins carefully searching for the little opening he wants.

Jake moans happily when he finally finds it, grip firm and steady on the backs of tanned thighs to keep his bunny's pretty cunt in place, as he slowly begins pushing the girth of his slimy tongue all the way inside.

“Ohh—no- what- what—ah!” Jay gasps, breath hitching with a loud shaky whimper, watching with scared eyes as the snake’s dark pink tongue continues to disappear between his legs, inch after inch crawling its way inside, until it’s like he can feel the thick wiggling muscle in the very depths of his tummy—like it’s in his–

“Feels—weird,” the bunny whines, twitching with every fluttery thrusting sensation, powerless to stop literally any bodily fluid from leaving him at this point. Like his breeding instincts were being awakened for the first time, Jay's entire body feels so warm and hot the bunny can do nothing but lay limp, drooling and crying all over himself when, just like the snake fantasized, Jake’s tongue slithers right into his womb.

And then, in a way only snake hybrids possibly could, the Australian boy unhinges his jaw and opens his mouth up wide, lips so big and plush he’s able to wrap them around the circumference of Jay’s pink cunt easy peasy, licking and playing around with that sensitive pussy like he just knew it was going to be his forever.

“Help—!” Jay hears himself sob, feeling like something was going to squirt out from inside again when Jake’s slithering appendage starts thrusting rhythmically, almost roughly, the base of Jake’s velvety tongue so thick Jay feels it stretching his hole open, filling him up every time his pussy involuntarily clenches around the foreign girth. Truly, it was like he was getting eaten between his legs.

“Ah, fuck, I could do this all day,” Jake momentarily pulls off with a hard suck, long slithery tongue making Jay’s soft pussy tremble and spasm as it's withdrawn like a string.

And then Jay feels it– almost thinks he’s imagining it in this overwhelming head-first dunk of emotions, but after Jake’s gone back to licking and sucking ruthlessly on his clit, there’s a little poke, some prodding lower, way lower, right against his—

“Wha–ahh-what are you—doing-” the bunny gasps, whimpering with a soft sniffle, “nothing’s supposed to g-go in there…!”

“Mhmm, is’jus practice~” the snake hums nonchalantly, affectionately nuzzling at his bunny wife’s sweet pussy. A second naughty hand even comes to fondle and tug at a fluffy cotton tail to help distract Jay from tensing up as he circles the pad of his thumb between fat tanned cheeks, and firmly presses against that tiny winking asshole. Testing the waters, not pushing hard enough to penetrate. Baby steps.

“For when you’re ready to take all of me, bunny.”

Admittedly, Jay doesn't get it. Doesn’t understand what exactly all of me even means, but he finds his mind and body too fucked out and high on raw pleasure to care.

Instead, brave bunny hybrid Park Jongseong only has the mental capacity left to whine about the long, thick reptile tongue that slithers its way back between his thighs, back into his pussy, and can do nothing but keep his legs spread and take it when Jake’s same naughty fingers slide up towards his clit, pressing down and rubbing at jiggly flesh in time with naughty thrusts of the snake’s greedy split-tongue.

Jay doesn’t know how many times he squirts- as Jake calls it- after that, is surprised he’s even conscious at one point, when he hazily wakes to curious fangs dragging across the length of his neck, and even dizzily glances downwards only to blush hard at the protective veiny arms wrapped snugly around his tummy, just awake enough to hear a giddily whispered ah, my eggs will be in here soon~

When Jay fuzzily turns his head in the other direction, he can’t help but wince at the sticky puddle of slick they seem to be laying in, nearly ready to pass out again until the ticklish flutter of a snake tongue has him arching into the warm body he’s subconsciously cozying up to. “Ssssooo…we’re married now, right?”

Jay feels his entire world spiral at such an official label, blinking up at the snake boy with bleary, tired eyes as he exasperatedly proposes, “How about…we start off as boyfriends…?”

Boyfriends.

His heart’s beating fast, he’s nervous, and it’s actually kind of embarrassing—how quickly Jay is up for more kisses after that.

Because Jake giggles all soft and happy at him, grabs a nice handful of his new bunny boyfriend’s plump gorgeous ass, and says, “Sssssweet~♡”
