Chapter Text
Xavier sighs, it's been over two weeks since he last saw let alone even talked to his partner. She told him before she left that it was just going to be a “quick” trip to the N109 zone to wrap up some loose ends. Yet here he is two weeks later without any updates or clues on what could've happened.
He glances down at his hunter watch, sure enough, her vitals were great and there was no sign of her being in trouble. Yet, he couldn’t help but to feel slightly uneasy. Xavier knew the N109 zone like the back of his hand and knew the risks of going in alone. His partner was insistent though, shooting down every question and concern Xavier brought up.
“You don’t need to worry,” Xavier recalls her saying, “It’ll only be for a couple days to close up to loose ends and then I’ll be back before you know it! It’s not like I’m gonna die that easily.”
The boy’s eyebrows furrow as he walks down the street, “Yeah right,” he mutters, kicking a small stone out of the way. He didn’t know where to start his look, there were too many possibilities on where his lost partner could be.
A crow caws, catching Xavier’s attention. He stops walking to look up at the broken street sign to see where the bird was. Its dark red eyes reminded Xavier of someone who might know the whereabouts of his partner– even more so on why she decided to come back in the first place.
“What is a hunter doing here,” a familiar voice calls out. Xavier quickly turns around coming face to face with all-too familiar red eyes, “I don’t recall hearing about any type of mission from my little kitten ,” Sylus whispers the last part, amusement twitching at the edge of his mouth.
Xavier crosses his arms, already irritated, “what's it to you?”
“Did you think I wouldn’t hear about someone's lost bunny lurking around,” Sylus motions to the shadows formed by the tall looming buildings, “I got eyes everywhere baby.”
“Don’t call me that,” Xavier scoffs, “Why do you just assume she’d tell you everything?”
Sylus hums, “Because she trusts me,” he watches as Xavier’s irritation grows more and more visible on his face, “I mean she even asked if I’d be willing to help her again this time,” he pauses, “but you didn’t hear that from me.”
Xavier rolls his eyes, “You’re just her newest toy,” he gives a small smile, “She’ll be bored of you soon enough.”
“Oh really?” Sylus leans in to whisper directly into his ear, “I’m very skilled.”
The hot breath on Xavier’s ears sends shivers up the boy's spine. He quickly backs up, covering the same ear Sylus whispered into, “What is wrong with you?”
Sylus lets out a small laugh, “I guess she wasn’t lying when she said how sensitive you are.”
Xavier’s ears quickly turn bright red, “W-What?”
Sylus steps forward, an idea suddenly popping into his mind, “How about we make a deal?”
The silence is heavy for what seems like eternity, “A deal?” Xavier’s voice is small.
“Yes,” Sylus replies, “I will give you your dearest partner’s location.”
Xavier narrows his eyes, “In exchange for what?”
The taller one sightly tilts his head, “If you can outlast me in bed,” Sylus allows his eyes to wander, tracing every part of Xavier’s clothed body, “You can say no of course, not really into the whole forcing someone thing.”
The blond can hardly hide his shock which quickly turns into disgust, “Excuse me?”
Sylus shrugs, “why not? I know you're curious about why your favorite partner loves coming back so much.”
The tension between the two thickens, hanging heavy in the air. Xavier’s heart beats a little faster the more he thinks about Sylus’s offer. He tries his best to regain his composure, “You can't really believe I’ll entertain this,” Xavier says, the blush on his cheeks betraying the front he is trying to put on.
“Oh but,” he gives a sly smile, “I have what you want.”
Xavier’s fist clench, frustration and shame swirl in his gut, “What makes you so sure you can win?”
Sylus looks over Xavier’s body again, “I guess I won’t know until we actually try huh?”
Xavier suddenly feels very exposed as he watches Sylus’s obvious gaze, “When would you want to do this,” he pauses, realizing that it sounds like agreement, “If I even accept that is,” he quickly adds on the end.
“Well,” Sylus grabs Xavier’s hand, “Let's discuss this in a more private area.”
Xavier glances around at the busy street around them, “I completely forgot-”
“I tend to have that effect on people,” Sylus says, his voice low.

Xavier somehow found himself in Sylus’s bedroom. Sitting on the farthest edge of his bed, “Why did we have to come in here to have this discussion.”
“Well I found it fitting,” Sylus says, “Unless you prefer a couch,” he smiles, “or the kitchen counter,” he sits right next to Xavier, trapping him between him and the headboard, “how naughty,” he teases.
“I haven’t even accepted yet!”
Sylus raises an eyebrow, “Yet here you are on my bed, in my house, right next to me.”
Xavier stares hard at the floor, counting the lines on the hardwood, “Is this really the only way you’ll tell me where she's at?”
“Yeah,” Sylus leans back on the bed, letting himself fall on the plush mattress and silk sheets, “I’ll even tell you why and what she's doing too.”
The extra information perks Xavier up, he turns to face Sylus, “You mean it?”
“Of course,” Sylus says, his voice soft, “I always keep my word.”
Xavier studies Sylus’s face, “I’ll kill you if you’re lying,” he says, trying to muster up all of the confidence he has left. This entire situation was bizarre for the hunter. He came to the N109 zone to find his MIA partner but ended up with someone he finds difficult. It might be due to Sylus’s inability to be truly honest with anyone- or maybe it's because of the nature of the N109 zone that has Xavier weary of everyone within it. Yet, he’s willing to do anything to find her, even if she is okay. He wouldn’t stop looking until he could confirm it with his own eyes.
“Are you agreeing to the deal?”
“Yes,” Xavier says, his voice barely audible. Seeing Sylus sit back up to move closer has Xavier a bit jumpy– although this isn't the first time he's ever had more intimate relations with someone, it's a bit jarring nonetheless.
“Relax,” Sylus says before leaning in to softly kiss Xavier’s neck, “I’ll be gentle.”
Xavier’s heart races as he kisses up his neck, trailing to his cheek, stopping right before his mouth. The two stare at each other for a moment before Sylus kisses the blond properly.
Pulling back, Sylus smiles at the flushed hunter in front of him, “Was it as bad as you were expecting?”
Xavier looks away, the shame of arousal burns deep in his stomach, “No.”
“Do you want to do it again?” Sylus leans in again, pushing Xavier back on the bed, “Tell me what you like.”
Xavier covers his face, “Do I have to?”
Sylus smiles at the embarrassment, “I mean I could just focus on myself but,” he kisses his neck again, “That wouldn’t be as fun now would it?”
“Well-” His defense was silenced by another kiss.
“What do you like, baby?”
Xavier furrows his eyebrows at the pet name, “I’m not your baby.”
Sylus spreads Xavier’s legs around him, kneeling between his knees. He begins to unbutton the hunter’s uniform, “Sure you are,” he lifts Xavier up slightly to remove the shirt, “Unless you want me to call you something else.”
“Just use my name,” Xavier huffs, seeing Sylus haphazardly toss his expensive uniform to the floor, “that's why I got one.”
“Boring,” Sylus sighs, “I’ll change your mind on that here soon.”
“Sure you will-” Xavier gasps as Sylus suddenly begins to palm at his pants, giving enough pressure to make the hunter’s head spin slightly.
“That's what I thought,” Sylus smirks, moving his hand back and forth, “feels good doesn’t it?”
Xavier covers his face again, the pleasure from such a small action should be criminal– maybe it’s because it has been so long since he’s done anything like this, “You can't just suddenly do that without warning,” he whines as Sylus increases his pace.
Instead of answering, Sylus returns his mouth onto Xavier’s neck. He sucks and lightly bites right under his jaw, making the boy beneath him jump at the sensation. He backs away slightly, “Do you want me to take these off?” He says tracing the waistband of his pants.
Xavier peeks out from behind his hands, noticing that Sylus is still completely clothed, “You too,” he says, reaching at Sylus’s button up shirt.
“Fair enough,” Sylus hums before he begins to slowly unbutton each button on his shirt, maintaining eye contact as he does. He tosses the shirt aside once he reaches the last one, letting it be quickly forgotten on the floor. Sylus touches the waistband of Xavier’s pants, “Lift your hips.”
Xavier lifts up just enough for Sylus to swiftly pull off his matching uniform bottoms, underwear included. His first instinct is to try to hide his body, ashamed at the state he's in. The deal rings loudly in his head, Outlast me in bed , he recalls, shifting uncomfortably.
“Don’t get shy now,” Sylus says, “We are just beginning.”
The hunter rolls his eyes, “I’m not shy.”
“Sure,” Sylus grips at his knees, parting them again. He takes his time looking over Xavier once again. He loves how his whole body is flushed and trembling, twitching at the smallest touch, “So surprisingly soft,” he remarks as he traces the small outline of Xavier’s abs.
Feeling the warmth of Sylus’s hands trail lower and lower made Xavier’s mind spin, “I’m not soft.”
Sylus hums, “So sensitive,” his hands stop right above Xavier’s cock.
“I’m not–” Once again Xavier’s words quickly change into a choked gasp as Sylus roughly grabs it, thumbing the tip immediately. He arches upwards without thinking, chasing the sudden pleasure.
“Oh so easy ,” Sylus pushes Xavier’s hips down, “just so eager aren't you?”
Struggling to find the words Xavier weakly responds, “N-No its not like that.”
“Oh?” Sylus raises an eyebrow, stopping his hands to slowly pull away. Xavier tries his best not to whine at the sudden loss of feeling, “Then what’s this?” Sylus cups Xavier’s chin, forcing him to look at his other hand. He smiles before slowly pulling his thumb and pointer finger apart, a string of precum connects them. He leans down to whisper directly in his ear, “You’re like an open book.”
Xavier shudders, feeling the hot breath on his neck. He squirms against the rock solid hold that Sylus has on him, “Let me go,” he struggles.
“No can do,” Sylus says, his words muffled by Xavier’s neck before he lightly bites him, “Just give into it.”
“I will never,” he tries to push against Sylus once again, “give into such,” he tries to twist his own body, accidentally pressing his cock up onto Sylus’s. He freezes the moment he feels it, his flush deepening, “Into such..” he tries his best to think of the next word, his mind quickly losing a battle.
Sylus watches as the hunter beneath him so obviously now occupied with his cock slowly stops his struggle against him, “something caught your attention?” He kisses at Xavier’s ears, “You want it dont you?”
Xavier tries to respond but the only sound to come out of his mouth was a small whine. Without realizing it he stopped his attempt at escaping, relaxing fully in Sylus’s hold. He slightly turns his head to look at Sylus who is intently watching, “You won’t win.”
Sylus reaches back down, “Whatever you say.”
The retort on Xavier’s tongue quickly dies when he feels Sylus’s hand grip him again. With a small laugh Sylus begins to move.
Down
The pleasure creeps throughout Xavier’s body, he tries to keep his mouth shut.
Up
He squeezes his eyes shut, not wanting to give in.
Down
His breath hitches as Sylus thumbs his tip again, faster.
Up
“It feels so good doesn’t it?” Sylus asks, watching Xavier fight against the pleasure. He increases the speed, silencing his moans with a deep kiss. Xavier arches up, rolling his eyes back.
His body tingles with the all too familiar want of release as Sylus continues to unwind him with each touch, “Please,” he begs, reaching his arms around Sylus’s neck, letting all of his nerves melt into the sheets, “ Please .”
Hearing the hunter plead, Sylus found it hard to control himself. He kisses him again, swallowing the sweet noises as he increases his speed. Xavier bucked up, but was quickly held down, “Be a good boy,” Sylus murmurs against his lips.
Xavier whimpered at the name, trying his best to control his hips. He looks up into Sylus’s deep red eyes and curses inwardly at how attractive the man above him really was. They had their differences but Xavier would be lying to himself if he didn’t find the man devastatingly attractive.
“Like what you see?” Sylus teases, watching the blissed out face beneath him slightly twist back into the fake disgust from earlier, “Oh don’t be coy now. I saw the way you were admiring me just now.”
“‘S not my fault,” Xavier pants, feeling himself get closer to edge, “Fuck.”
Peppering kisses along the junction of Xavier’s neck and jaw, Sylus relishes in how easily the hunter melted in his hands only after a couple touches. He leans back on his legs, not letting go. He looks at how wet Xavier’s cock is, glistening with precum.
“Poor baby,” Sylus says, hovering his other hand above the tip, “Try not to scream.”
Xavier lolls his head to the side, “Wh-” he barely can get a word out before Sylus begins to use his other hand just to rub meticulous circles on the tip of his cock while the other hand still drags up and down. His entire body tenses, the sudden increase of pleasure rendering him immobile.
“Just let go baby,” Sylus soothes, watching the boy beneath him pant.
“ Fuck ,” Xavier shakes, unable to control himself anymore.
The white hot pleasure shoots up throughout Xavier’s body as he cums, getting the liquid all over his stomach. He struggles to catch his breath as Sylus removes both of his hands, licking his release, “Salty,” Sylus teases.
“Why did you lick it!” Xavier groans, covering his eyes.
“We’re not done yet,” Sylus reminds him, taking Xavier’s hand to put it on his own still rock-hard cock, “It’s my turn.”
