Hi, y'all!! Happy Valentine's Day, and a very happy day to Brainie, my giftee! I really hope you like it! <3

This is my artwork gift for the WA V-Day event, based off of Brainie's note "a trinket. reminds me of you." I wanted to do something a bit along the lines of hopeless romanticism but with them gifting something to one another, and in the spirit of Valentine's Day, came up with this little period-inspired piece in where the two are secret lovers, perhaps royalty/peasant, that sort of thing. I chose for Simon to be gifting John a snapdragon, as the flower itself would be a compliment since it represents "strength and grace" but in some instances can also be interpreted as "deception", which I thought was a bit fitting if they have to hide their romance. Of course, also, the colors of the snapdragon are fiery reds and oranges, which is a nice little nod to his demolitions work in canon. :)
