America, Michigan 04/18/2036
"Emergency broadcast system alert"
"This is not a test, Alert, We repeat, This is not a test"
The oh so loud blaring alarm screams through the RGB covered screen, The white text surrounded by nothing but an eye piercing blue, It just went on, screaming what civilian thought was "nonsense", Hell, Some even closed their wretched device, Leaving the announcement to the rest of the state to see.
"Stay indoors at all cost"
It screamed through the screen, But Atlas, Curiosity kills the cat, People stepped outdoors, watching as others gathered, discussing about what is going on, Chatters and whispers were shared among the huddled up civilians.
"Emergency personnels will arrive soon"
People started to panic, stuffing their bag with whatever they can get their hands on, leaving no shelves safe. People clasped their hands together, praying for a miracle of some sorts, a sign. It was a gamble between life or death.
"May god be with you all"
The broadcast was then ended with that sentence alone.
People cried, was there anything that will save them?
The streets were left with panic and agony, Screams filled the air as Any stores were immediately raided off of their supplies, shelves were left helpless as their dirty and selfless hands reached out for anything they could grab onto, people fought, beat, even kill for the limited supplies. Blood was shared around, It was either kill or be killed.
They just need to wait it out, Emergency will come and save them all, Right?
They just.. Need to survive, from whatever they need to survive from..
