test tube
finally, a moment's peace.
the game was the only thing we understood. _
our only form of happiness.
but with you here,
i finally feel complete.

you were the first person
to fully understand me.
i thought that this would only come and go
yet you still stay by my side
and i still cant seem to see why.
The two rested together, softly smiling from each others rhythmic, synced breathing. A golden ray of sunshine sneakily peeked through the window, slowly reflecting off of the soft symbol of love and dignity that adorned the green vial's finger. No matter the situation, she would refuse to take the pure metal off. *This is a symbol of love, and no matter what, my love for you will never expire.* were the vial's own words, being powerful enough to break Fan. Well, anything slightly sappy seemed to break him.
He never believed she would reciprocate, let alone have their relationship become ever so powerful. They've been there for each other since the very beginning. They quite literally made a person together, even if it was in an attempt to bring back someone who was already lost -- something the two will always regret.
But now their pasts didn't matter; all that did, though, was each other. Fan smiled from Test Tube's warm embrace, subconsciously rubbing a soft hand on her back. Test Tube slightly stirred from the affection, quickly returning it with a squeeze to his hand, using her thumb to rub the metal wrapped around his ring finger. The cold, calming silver felt so gentle and smooth against her skin. Test Tube finally decided to slide her glasses onto her face, focusing on Fan's warm, gentle smile. The same smile she had fell in love with all those years ago, despite everything.
No matter how many ups and downs they had or how much everything seemed to change for them, everything was the same. Fan was still so deeply in love with her, from the way a tone so sweet and gentle seeped into her usually harsh-sounding voice whenever they were together; the way they could both endlessly spend nights together, wishing they could never end - it truly felt like a movie. And they wouldn't have it any other way.
As daybreak continued to slowly edge its way into the sky, a loud beeping went off, disturbing the couple. Test Tube and Fan's hands reaching for the alarm clock in sync. They both seemed to quickly understand that they both mentally decided to stay like this for just a while longer. They had so much love for each other, and every second the duo were together, the more they would find themselves falling more and more in love.
And they wouldn't have it any other way.
