Work Text:

The sun was setting when Viktor was descending into the undercity. His leg ached from underneath him, and the scraping of his cane against the cobblestone rang in his ears. Jayce was off doing… whatever he had been doing. Nowadays his partner was more occupied filling the position of Piltover’s ‘Golden Boy’ than he was working on HexTech. Viktor couldn’t say he was angry at Jayce; he was just frustrated. He understood Jayce's new responsibilities and didn’t want to blame the exhausted counselor for his absence. So here he was, taking the path he was all too familiar with as the air became thicker and thicker in his lungs. Singed, or Dr. Reveck, as Viktor had first known him, lived at the very bottom of the Undercity, so far under the smog that the air cleared when you reached it. Viktor vividly remembered stumbling into his laboratory as a young boy, coming across his crazed experiments, and becoming instantly enamored with them. But he and Dr. Reveck soon saw things differently, and Viktor couldn’t support the pain and agony he was putting his subjects through. But the Doctor was his first teacher, and Viktor his only pupil. Now, Singed was Viktor’s last hope. His leg ached as he slowly shifted his way down the steep rocks that hid Singed’s laboratory from the rest of the world, and he could feel his lungs expanding rapidly as his heart beat twice as fast. The urge to cough was strong as he continued down the pebbled pathway, leaning more and more on his cane for support. He hated feeling weak, hated feeling like he was less than. Jayce was the golden boy for a reason. Nobody wanted the face of Piltover’s progress spewing blood from his lips, but the thought of being erased from the history of his accomplishments had led him to where he stood right now: In front of the dark cave he knew the mad scientist lived in.

“I understand now,” Viktor spoke. “The mutation must survive.”

Singed turned around, and Viktor could see the skin around his eyes crinkle as he offered a small smile from beneath his mask.

Viktor and Singed sat across each other, soft droplets falling from the cave roof and splattering against the cold floor.

“I always had a feeling you’d come back,” Singed said. “Forces were bringing you back here.”

“I just…needed a way out. Out of the pain and the suffering.” Viktor dropped his hands down into his lap and his eyes flickered to Rio’s body, floating silently in her enclosure.

“Ah, that is why you are here? Mmm. I understand that too. What would you like from me?” Singed’s voice was sprinkled with a hint of surprise.

Viktor paused, searching the doctor's eyes. “What do you mean, ‘that is why I am here?’ Why else would I come back down here?”

“Her, of course.”

Singed’s words caused an avalanche of memories to flood back into Viktor’s head. You, prancing around the laboratory, chemicals in hands, working diligently by Singed as he instructed you. You, fighting with the doctor, storming out of the cave and into the deep grounds of the city. You, your soft skin, your smile, your hungry spirit. The glitter in your eyes, the sadness in the way you spoke, the warmth you gave him. The way you’d come to him in the middle of the night as a teenager, wired and awake with a new concoction. You’d drag him out of bed and make him observe your experiments into the early hours of the morning. The way you looked deep into his eyes before you kissed him for the first time, the blush that tinged his cheeks as he let you go further. The way you smiled into his skin and dug your fingers around the strands of his hair. The way you kissed softly up his neck and bit lightly into his jugular. How your face looked when you….

But Viktor also remembered you begging him to stay in the Undercity. Tears in your eyes that you wiped away hurriedly, fists clenched in anger as he tried to meet your gaze. The way you cleared all your things from your room and were gone in the morning. He blinks and remembers your figure watching him from above the buildings as he boarded his train to the Academy. He could barely make out your features then. Now, they were even hazier. How many years had it been since he’d seen you? God, you. How could he forget about you? There’s no doubt you’d have seen what he had been doing in Piltover, his face plastered onto posters behind Jayce. Singed brought him back to the present moment, much to his dismay. Now that the memory of you was fresh in his mind, it was hard to focus on much else.

“I might have something that can help you,” Singed said as he reached into a cabinet behind him. The vial he pulled out was purple and had a certain… shimmer to it. Viktor’s eyes widened.

“Shimmer? No, I-I couldn’t,” he responded, instinctively backing up into his chair.

“I’m sorry, young one. This is all I can offer you. I have yet to find the cure to death, so this is all available to you… a desperate man.”

Viktor was desperate. But how desperate? Desperate enough, he decided as he remembered his cloth handkerchief covered in blood against his desk. Before long, he was standing in front of the cave’s exit, the vial in hand.

“I mean this with total honesty Viktor, I hope you find your cure,” Singed said, his eyes meeting Viktors.

“Thank you, Doctor,” Viktor turned to walk away, but something froze his feet in place. “Wait-Doctor. You, um, wouldn’t know how to find, um, you know…um.”

“Her?” Singed asked. “I had a feeling you’d ask. No, I am afraid not.” Viktor tried to hide his disappointment in his expression before nodding and turning away. “But…” Singed spoke once more. “I have heard rumors of an enchantress at the edge of the city giving potions to the sick. You can try there.”

Viktor smiled thankfully and continued deeper into the city.

It was a few hours later when Viktor began to question his actions. Jayce was managing the HexGates right now, he thought. Jayce was probably wondering where he was. The Undercity’s smog was thick and rough in his throat, and although he had grown up in it, years of living above the clouds had weakened his tolerance. His leg seemed to sting with each step, nerves lighting up and the vial of Shimmer seemed to be burning a hole in his pocket. But the thought of maybe seeing you again kept his feet moving. How would you react? God, it had been years since the two of you had seen each other. Would you be mad? Would you slam the door in his face? Worse, what if you had forgotten him entirely?

The shops became less and less frequent as he continued, people dissipating as he descended deeper and deeper. Was this where you had ended up? At the bottom of the city surrounded by Shimmer victims? He cringed at the thought right as he hit a dead end. He blinked slowly, his eyes squinting through the dark evening air. He glimpsed a small button against the side of the brick wall and hobbled over to push it hesitantly. A small window slid open with a bang, with a pair of dark pink eyes staring back at his golden ones.

“Who are you?” The voice rasped hoarsely. “Do you have an appointment or is it an emergency?”

Viktor thought quickly. “Um, an, um emergency?” He hoped the voice hadn’t heard the uncertainty in the way he spoke.
The window slid shut and a larger door opened. The pink eyes turned into several as a smaller furry creature led him further in. What Viktor saw was indeed quite a surprise. A vast expanse of rooms greeted him, surrounded by the glow of a soft orange light, reminding him of a sunset. The walls, floors, everything was covered in a plush carpet, pillows littering the floor, and candles perched on small stone ledges.

“If it’s an emergency, we gotta get you to the boss. Follow me, boy.” The fuzzy spider grasped his hand with hers and dragged him down the hallway.

As he walked, he caught glimpses of the rooms. People sat on the floors, laughing, and chatting happily. The air felt different down here, he realized. Less thick, less diseased. The people seemed happy, they looked well-fed and safe, nothing like how the rest of the city functioned. This was not the Undercity he remembered. This place would welcome you in with open arms and a warm meal rather than eat you alive. His steps halted when they reached a cocoon of low-hanging fabrics and soft blankets. There was a small door covered in stained glass and a lantern flickering beside it.

“Stay here,” The spider rasped and went inside.

Viktor stayed put as he surveyed his surroundings. This felt comfortable. This felt cozy. This felt safe. This place felt…nice. But you. Where were you? At that moment the spider hobbled back down the stairs and beckoned him with one finger.

“I think you look fine. But if this really the emergency you claim it is, then she’s waiting for you.”

“She?” Viktor questioned.

The spider rolled her eyes. “Is that not why you came? Now, go, she’s a busy woman.” She shoved Viktor inside and the door slammed behind him, forcing him deeper into the room. A small desk stood in the circular room, covered in vials and bottles, littered with papers with doodles and equations. It seemed empty until a figure stood up from under the desk, bumping its head on the way up.

“Fuck, ow!” A voice rang out. A voice Viktor knew. Your voice.

“Y/N?” Viktor spoke softly.

The figure turned around and Viktor saw your face for the first time in ten years.

“Viktor?” You said, your eyes filled with realization.

For a moment, the two of you just stared at each other, the space between you staying stagnant. Viktor couldn’t take his eyes off you. You looked almost the same since he last saw you, but there was maturity behind your eyes and your face had sharpened in all the right places. Your hair had remained its glowy white color, the streak of purple exactly where he remembered it. Your hair was longer, tied into a long, loose braid that swished around your waist. Your eyes. God, it was like he never left. They were still the same light green, with a speckle of brown, like the trunk of a tree, he had always called it. Your thick lashes blinked slowly and drew his attention to your lips, decorated in a soft red color, thick and plump. He couldn’t recall what it was like to taste you and the thought made his hand slip slightly from its cane. He almost couldn’t help himself from staring at the rest of you. You wore a flowy blue robe that circled around your ankles and came to your mid-arm. Beneath it, he could see a white dress that stopped at your knees and hugged your waist. It left little to the imagination, and Viktor forced himself to meet your eyes to knock the thoughts from his head. Without any more hesitation, you flung yourself against him, wrapping Viktor in a hug and pressing your warmth to his. His breath hitched in his throat and he tentatively returned the action to you. Feeling your skin against his for the first time in years made him feel light-headed and he faltered in your arms, causing you to look back up to meet his eyes.

“I-I-um, I don’t even know what to say. It’s just… I didn’t know if I would see you again.” Your voice was honey-smooth in his ears and without realizing it, a smile crept on Viktor's face.

“I-... hi. I was, um, home again. I couldn’t resist coming to see you. I-wh-what is this place? It’s nothing like the rest of the Undercity.” Viktor couldn’t pull himself away from your touch, letting you instead lift your arm from his and stand back with a smile.

“It’s a long story.”

You both sat on the carpeted floor, and Viktor couldn’t feel anything but the slight touch of your knee against his.

“After you left, I couldn’t work with Singed anymore. I left his lab and came here. Lived on scraps and the minimal kindness down here for a while before me and a few others made this place.” You softly combed through your locks and Viktor's eyes couldn’t leave your fingers as they delicately thumbed through the strands.

“And-wh-what is this place again?” He asked.

“It’s like a hospital of sorts. Or like a resort? We’re not really sure what to call it. People come here for healing mostly. Remember my potions?”

Of course, he did. Viktor nodded.

“Well, with the help of the other scientists around her, we figured out how to use them for help. Ya know, shimmer, smoke inhalation, anything really. We help people. But, whatever. What about you? Jayce might be Piltover’s golden boy, but you are the Undercity’s.”

Viktor couldn’t prevent the blush from creeping onto his cheeks. “Well, I-I don’t know about that. I- Well, I came back down, for some… uh business and I guess I couldn’t help myself from finding you. I-I’m surprised you’re not still mad at me, drahá.”

You blinked at the memory of his nickname for you before your happy expression stilled for a moment. “Oh, that. Yes. No- I-, well. After you left, I was. I was really angry at you for a long time. But-, well I don’t know. How could I be mad at you for trying to make a better life for yourself? I spent years hating you for what I could never do. You didn’t abandon me, you just…did what you were meant to. I-I’m not mad, Viktor.”

Viktor didn’t realize he was holding his breath till he let it out in one big puff. “Well, that’s certainly a relief. I- you know I always felt bad. I wanted to bring you with me, but never had the time-”

You cut him off. “It’s alright. I don’t care Viktor. It’s just… nice to see you again, y’know?”

Viktor chuckled slightly. “I might relate.”
“Oh, I know you do more than relate. You’re not slick, Vik. I saw the way you looked at me when you came in. Remembering our past, are we?”

Viktor blushed. “Well-I wou-wouldn’t um…”

“Relax, I’m just joking. Gosh, how many years has it been?” You leaned closer. There was like a pull from you to Viktor and you couldn’t deny the curiosity that bubbled within you. Had he been with anyone else? Was he more…experienced? Or would he let you do…whatever? You smiled at the brunette, his golden eyes falling to the floor.

“Ten and three-quarters.” He responded immediately, making you laugh.

“Someone's been counting, huh?” You inched closer to him and he froze. “You know, Viktor…I was so mad at you for leaving. We never, you know…properly made up or anything.”

Viktor gulped and quickly grabbed a pillow to shove over his lap. You loomed over him and he could see your cleavage pouring over the front of your dress. Your scent was intoxicating, exactly how he remembered it and he could almost groan at the thought of your skin against his once more.

“Well, was that not properly making up… I-um…” He was stumbling over his words and you smirked. Yeah, he’d let you do whatever. You decided to push the limit and see how he’d react.

“Well, you see… I was thinking something more like we used to do… do you remember, Vik?”

Of course, he fucking remembered. How could he forget the way he stretched you out, the way you threw your head back, the way you kissed up his jaw til you reached his lips…

“I-I might have an idea of what you are referencing…”

“Oh yeah? Do you wanna show me?” Viktor remained still as stone, his eyes flicking from your breasts to your lips and then up to your lidded eyes. “Or do I have to remind you myself?”

“Second one, second one,” Viktor breathed out, his chest rising and falling more rapidly than before.

“So be it…” You smiled as you leaned in, pressing your lips to his.

You had meant the kiss to be slow and seductive, a slotting of lips that would make the gods sing or whatever. But as soon as you tasted him, you couldn’t control yourself. He tasted the same, dark coffee, something sweet like taffy, and the distinct taste of metal. You moaned into him, semi-embarrassed at how needy you were already. Hey, it had been ten years. Viktor eagerly leaned into you, deepening the kiss with his moan, light and airy as his hands flew to your hips to lift you on top of him. Teeth clashed against tongue as you hungrily devoured each other, a cacophony of moaning releasing from both of you. You felt his cock poke your inner thigh and you smiled into his lips.

“Viktor… take me out to dinner first…”

But Viktor didn’t answer. His eyes were still closed, cheeks flushed and hips slightly thrusting into nothing. He let out a moan before pulling you by your robe. “Get back here. Need you.”

You whined at his actions surprised at his dominance. His lips slotted with yours once more and he worked diligently to pull your robe over your head until it lay discarded on the floor. You grasped the sides of his face tightly, your fingers clutching his hair as you yanked. The moan he let out was delicious, a mangled sound that caught in his throat and made its way to your aching folds. He cried out when you bit down on his bottom lip and tugged him in closer. You brought your head lower to suck tightly on his neck, eliciting moan after moan as he ground slowly against you, head thrown back in ecstasy.

“Fuck…ngh…” Viktor groaned. “Missed you, god. Forgot how good you are. How perfect… fuck…mmphhh…”

He felt you smile against his skin as you continued sucking dark purple marks against his neck and under his jaw while softly grinding on top of him, just enough for his eyes to shoot open, a blissed-out look on his face and in his amber eyes.

“Missed you too, baby. I’ve had others, but god, none of them compare to you… Didn’t realize how much I need you til now…”

He reached over to pull your dress off your body and when you leaned back, Viktor's mouth was slightly agape.

“It is a sin I have forgotten your beauty… How can you look like this? You must have been crafted by the gods. You’re perfect…”

He went to reach out and touch you but you slammed his hands back down into the pillows, your fingers clenched around his wrists.

“Not so fast,” you spoke with a smirk that Viktor noticed nervously. “I wanna taste more of you. Then you can touch me. Deal?”

Viktor nodded desperately, his face pinched in pleasure, chest heaving. You kissed down his neck til you reached his shirt. You quickly unbuttoned the fabric, kissing the new skin being revealed. Viktor slammed a hand over his mouth to stifle the moans and you stopped.

“Nuh, uh. I wanna hear you.” You yanked his hand away and he whimpered into your touch, eyes pleading.

“Nngh… not fair…”He spoke through gritted teeth.

“Then you shouldn’t have left me down here with nothing but my fingers.”

Viktor's eyes snapped open and met your mischievous grin. He threw his head back as you continued sucking marks into his skin, admiring the soft muscles and small scars that littered his frame. You tied his hands back with your silken robe, tits dangerously close to his mouth. Viktor could only resist for so long. He reached out, his tongue encircling your nipple as you finished the last knot, eliciting a surprised whine from you. The pleasure he could give with just his tongue made your panties wet as you settled your legs above his cock.

“Viktor! Fuck… oh my..god….I… mmm. Shit! There….”

Viktor smiled as he worked, kissing the sensitive skin. “Princezno… how I have missed this. Missed you. Missed hearing you…”

It took everything you had in you to pull away, but the bulge beneath you just felt too good pressed against your clit. You unclipped his pants and helped him shimmy them off, greeted with the outline of his cock, a wet spot forming against the fabric of his boxers. You had forgotten many things, but his cock was not one of them. The way it filled you to the brim, stretched you out with a burning pleasure. Your mouth watered looking at it. You made quick work of his boxers, tossing them over your shoulder as his cock sprung out, tip red and leaking. You could not resist immediately diving it, delivering soft, kitten licks to the head, reveling in the moans Viktor was giving you from above. When you licked up his shaft, Viktor was sure he blacked out. White, hot pleasure surged through his veins like liquid fire, and without meaning to, he bucked his hips up into your mouth, causing you to grasp his thighs firmly and push you back down.

“Viktor… you know better than that.”

“Nngghhh. sorry….Can’t control it… feels too good…”

Suddenly you couldn’t deal with your own teasing, plunging your lips down around his cock til it hit the back of your throat. You felt Viktor tense above you before he moaned deeply. You hallowed your cheeks as you bobbed your head around his member, feeling it twitch against your tongue as you sucked. Viktor's hands went down to grip your hair violently, tugging at the strands. His hips wiggled their way from under your grasp until he was bucking them deeper and deeper, causing you to gag and your eyes to water. And god, you needed him so bad, you let him. He whimpered a sorry from above you, but his grip on your hair tightened as he guided you up and down.

“Fuck! Drahá! Right there… god fuck… no… nghhh… I-I’m close…”

You pulled off with a smirk. You were greeted with a beautiful sight, Viktor’s chest shaking and lips puffy and red. His cock was leaking and angry, pressing lightly against his heaving stomach.

“Please, drahá…. I need to. I need you…please... Not fair… I-I’m sorry… please…”He begged from underneath you.

You smiled before leaning over and untieing the robe from around his wrists. As soon as you did, his hands raced to your body, one to your breast and one down to your aching pussy. You gripped his shoulders as he rubbed your clit and breast in tandem, making you see stars as the pleasure enveloped you like a familiar friend.

“Yes, Viktor…” You moaned loudly, not caring who in the building would hear you. You were too focused on your lost love, who was currently inserting a finger deep into your pussy.

“So wet for me Princezno… you’re so tight and warm, fuck…I remember the way you squeeze around me drahá…” You cried out his words, thighs tightening and grazing his glistening cock, causing him to moan in tandem with you.

He fucked you on his fingers, thumb encircling your clit as you slumped forward on his chest, lost in the pleasure. He gripped you harshly, forcing you back into an upward position.

“Nuh, uh. Need to see you baby….needy for me, wanting me…I won’t last long…nnghh…fuck, just the sight of you. Touching the parts of you that nobody can touch, feeling you pressed against me…”

You couldn’t help but moan at his words as his fingers made you come undone, the coil building in your stomach.

“Viktor…shit…I’m close….”

You ripped his hand away and momentarily whined at the loss of sensation around your folds before hovering above him. Before Viktor could even process what was happening, you were lowering yourself down on to him and the pleasure overwhelmed him.

“FU-Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck……!” He groaned aginst your breast, sucking deep marks on your skin. “Almost forgot how good you are…shit…”

He stretched you out deliciously, and you could feel his dick twitch inside you as your inner walls clutched against him. “Fuck….” you moaned.

You started bouncing on his cock, Viktor below you looking absolutely gone. The composed scientist you remember vanishing with every bounce. His hair was tousled and tangled, his face rosy and with a sheen of sweat. Every thrust felt better than the last, as you felt the coil in your stomach tighten.

“Fuck! You’re soo…. God…. can’t take it….” Without warning Viktor flipped you over, so you were beneath him and he plunged back into you. He slapped a hand over your mouth. “Shhh…. Fuck…. Just take me drahá…. Take me like the good girl you are ok… nnfggh… I need you… I need you.”

Each snap of his hips brought you closer and closer to the edge, crying out against his fingers as he kissed the corner of your neck, hair tickling your skin.

“I-I-I’m close!” You managed to scream out around his hand.

Viktor sped up his pace and rammed into you with a speed you didn’t know was possible. You saw stars as he pushed in and out of you, slowly rendering you cock drunk. “Fuck-baby… I’m gonna come…!” you cried.

“Fu-FUCK… me too… come with me princezno…. FUCcckkkkkkkkk…..!”

His pace didn’t stall as the two of you reached your collective climax, his sweaty skin pressed flush against her. His hips finally slowed as you caught your breath.

“God…you…” Viktor said.

“You too…I-... I don’t even know…”

“It was nice… um… to see you again…really nice…”

You giggled. “Not as nice as it was to see you again.”

You collapsed into the fuzzy pillows beneath you, both sweaty, happy messes.
