Lute And Adam Has Been Dating For A Couple Months Now, And So Far It’s Been Nice, Yeah Some Fights But That’s Normal It Always Means A Stronger Relationship In The future. Although Sera Doesn’t Approve One Bit, There’s Nothing In The Rules That A Lieutenant And A Captain Can’t Date. Since She Couldn’t Just Make A New Rule About It,They Were Allowed to Do So.
The Next Day The Recruits And Other Angels Were Confused As To Why They Were Being A lot More Affectionate Than Normal, Or Appropriate For That Matter, They Got In Trouble And Got Sent To A Very Angry And Disappointed Sera.
After That They kinda Promised Everyone That They’ll Be More Private.
After a while everyone Kinda Forgot That They Were Even Dating, Sometimes The Recruits Would Hit On Adam To Get In A Higher Position The Fastest, And Lute Was Always There To Correct Them.
Adam Never Engaged In Whatever flirtation That Angels At Bars or Cafes Or Anywhere He Was, He Already has his Angel By His Side For The Rest Of His Life And He’s Not Going to Lose It.
Plus I Think Lute Would Actually Try To Kill Him In His Sleep If He Ever Hit On Someone.
After A Little Longer A Rule Came Out For Relationships In The Workplace, Mostly Targeted At Adam and Lute, Not That They Really Cared About What Sera Said About Them.
Everything’s been good between them. Sera finally got off their back for good, since she knows that nothing can really stop them, that doesn’t mean she likes it though.
The next month, a party is happening and Adam and lute were invited to come. Adam was excited to go, as he hasn’t shown everybody in heaven the new hottie he was dating and how lucky he was, as in lute was not so happy that she was invited to a party at a nightclub, but Adam convinced her that he’d never leave her side for two reasons, one was that the exorcist would feel better, and that Adam can brag to everyone that he got the one person that wouldn’t date anyone that would hit on her. Lute slapped him for the last reason, but even then, it made them both smile and laugh in the end.
As the days come closer to the date, everyone starts to get dresses and suits and everything else they need for this party, since it’s with some royalty, everybody wants to look their best so they get a good impression on their looks alone. Adam already knew that most of the royalty that would be there, and it would only be Emily and Sera, so he’s not going to dress up nice and fancy just for some people he already knows. Until lute intervened and told him he had to be at least formal for this party or that she would not go with him to the party and would never talk to him again, nor date him.
And that made him reconsider his choice, he could either dress like a slob and lose his world, or dress in an uncomfortable, horrible suit and have lute right next to him and still be his and share the night together.
He decided his best choice, dress in uncomfortable clothes for three hours and have his lieutenant by his side for his life.
They went out and got a suit for Adam and lute got something for herself but didn’t let Adam see what it was, she said it was a surprise for him to see on the night before they leave for the party, she didn’t think it would be a good idea for him to praise her in front of everyone that will be at the event.
That would just be a little weird to do that in front of random people and royalty.
As the day appeared on Adam's calendar, they got started on getting ready as the sun started to set and the moon started to show their face to everybody. Lute as Adam is getting on his suit in the bedroom and lute getting her dress on in their washroom, after Adam got his suit on he decided that he’ll just wait for lute in the living room, he would’ve choose the kitchen but lute strongly fought against Adam that he couldn’t eat until he at least greeted the royalty so there wouldn’t be any crumbs on his jacket.
After a couple minutes of lute has been in there Adam gets a little worried about if she’s okay in there, so to help with the anxiety in his head he goes to check over to see if she’s okay, after a couple of knock he asks if she’s okay in there, she says yes and that she’ll be out in a minute. Adam goes back into the Livingroom and waits.
Until his mind loses control of the sense that she’s okay and starts to worry again. But he doesn’t want to bug her again with his incisive nagging to see if she’s okay, he’s already done that waaaayyyyyyy too much in their relationship.
So he tries to keep himself occupied until she comes out and they can go to the party, so Adam looks around him and finds nothing in the room to make his brain shut off except the couch. He sits on the couch and plays with his finger, then mimics that he’s playing guitar, after a couple of minutes of doing that it got pretty boring and he stopped and tried to find something else.
Just as he was about to get up and actually get his guitar to play it, he heard a click and a creek of a door opening. He stays where he is and doesn’t move, then lute comes in with a Persephone like dress, it’s mostly white with some dark grey, but there are specks of silver and gold in the skirt and honestly. It’s beautiful on her, she looks like the real goddess, not sera or Emily.
Adam is left speechless by the beauty he’s seeing right in front of him, the only reaction he has is his face turning slightly pink and him making a weird face, more like he’s trying to figure out what to say. The only thing that makes lute really smile is that Adam's jaw is dropped like he’s trying to eat 4 big mac’s at once.
Lute, after a minute of this, starts giggling and hunches over a little at how funny Adam looks. He starts to come back to reality after she starts laughing and looks at her, then starts giggling as well, even though he doesn’t really know what she’s laughing at.
She asks if she looks beautiful, and he nods eagerly and grabs her waist, and picks her up and puts the exorcist on his shoulder, and of course lute has some problems with that but he came up with an excuse for every single argument she threw at him.

They got to the event and had an amazing time, sera was a little displeased that they came to the party TOGETHER but what can she do? Nothing, in the rule she made she legally can not break us up unless one of us were dead or they were separated. There were a lot of people who were shocked since Adam and lute kinda held down the information.
As the party continued, Adam and lute got more and more touchy with each other. Which made sera and everybody else that looked at them, but by now every person that was the first man’s girlfriend knew that they get handsy even in public, even sera.
The last time anybody saw them at the party was when they were going through the doors at the front with them touching everywhere. Although people were too drunk to see if that actually was the case.

Adam woke up first.
He felt a thing on his side, when he moved a little, it moved in his place for his warmth.
At first Adam thought nothing about it, just thought it was a random animal that he let in while he was blackout drunk, so like the normal person he is he just let it be with him until his headache finally leave somewhat and he’d have the courage to kick out the adorable thing that he let in. Then the thing made a human noise and put an arm around his body.
Adam smiled thinking that he landed a babe again. So he turns over so she can rest her head on his chest, and starts stroking her hair. He was like this for the past 13 minutes, just peace and quiet only with breathing.
Then he thought about lute….. and that he was dating her.
His eyes shot open and looked at the person he was just stroking their hair and cuddling their body for the night, only to find lute there. Lying peacefully, looking completely happy that she was wearing one of his shirts, way too big for her slim form.
His instinct is to let her sleep on him until she wakes up and leaves but his mind is racing with the thing they might’ve done last night that he can’t seem to remember, what if he went to far last night and she hates him after she wakes up?, or what if this makes her uncomfortable when she wakes up and she sees what position they were in the night?, what if she remembers what they did last night and it was bad? What if we fucked? We were taking it slow…. Oh shiiiiiiiiittttt
Adam started panicking and tossing the bed a lot, making lute stir to consciousness. Adam looked at the sleeping exorcist and even when she’s sleeping she’s gorgeous. The first man thought of a plan to get out of this situation without his lieutenant waking up and realising the situation they're both in, Adam slowly got up without tossing the bed too much. Lucky his god is in his familiar and the goddess in his bed didn’t wake up and just went where his heat was on the bed.
Adam went into the bathroom to go see if anything was on him, or his neck. To find nothing of the sorts just an unblemished neck and no swollen lips either. As he exited the restroom he saw that lute was moving a little in her sleep, a clear sign that she is waking up. So the first man hurried to grab his things that he needed for the day and scurried off to his office to start the day a little earlier than usual.
Sera and Emily were extremely shocked that he wanted to start work early. Emily partied a little with him so that he’s finally doing something amazing and productive. Although Sera saw the way he looked in his eyes, even under the mask it didn’t hide the way he looked like he did something horrendous and is trying to hide and forget that he did just that, Sera will have to investigate him later.

Lute wakes up with no recollection of what happened as of earlier that night. She looks around a room that is in no way her room, with the golden guitar and the multiple amounts of band tee shirts on the floor and almost everywhere else, she is most likely in his room. The real question is the random first man that is non existent as of this instant. The exorcist gets up from the bed and starts looking for the golden-winged man that prides himself in his… well EVERYTHING.
Every room was completely deserted, with a little mess that was clearly made during a rush to get out. Some drawers were opened and left like that, the table next to the entrance was also missing something, not clear to know what is missing but you can tell something is missing. Along with its owner.
Lute went into the bathroom, just to look a little more professional before going out to work. She looks around for a toothbrush and some toothpaste so she doesn’t have to breathe as gross as hell itself. She looks through cupboards and on the countertops, but alas, she doesn’t find anything that could help her just a little, not even gum is in sight. Although she did find a hairbrush so she doesn’t look like she got into a fight with ten different sinners.
When she looks into the mirror and her appearance isn’t horrible, the make up she had on yesterday from the party was still on and a little smudged, but her hair and everything else looked okay. Although her teeth and breath can really use some type of mint. With the conclusion that this is as good as this will be until she can get into her own room and properly do her morning routine, she exits the room in search for a certain man that accompanied her last night.

After the exorcist went to go find Adam, he apparently had invisibility powers cause lute couldn’t find him anywhere. So she just went to her room to go brush her teeth so she didn't look like a troll that had beautiful looks until she opened her mouth.
Every time Adam would see her approaching or even coming anywhere near him he would leave the second to avoid the impending doom that he’ll have to face about how they slept together and that she’ll want to break up with him. He doesn’t want that so he’s avoiding the inevitable.
The lieutenant looks for him everywhere. His office, her office, sera’s, the infirmary, training grounds, and yet nowhere can she find a gold pair of wings in her sight. After two hours of searching for him, she gave up and went to do her normal job and she never saw that pair of special wings.

Adam had really tried to avoid his impending doom with the angel that he may have slept with, who knows cause he doesn’t want to face that when he’s working.
He had tried everything to keep his head occupied so he didn’t overthink anything and panic that she hates him now. He tried to fight people, eat while talking to the recruits (and avoiding a certain someone when she came into the fighting grounds) , talking to the seraphim's, and doing the one thing he hated most in the world, paperwork.
After everything was done, he was now just staring at the ceiling from under his desk, wondering if this was a good enough space to sleep in for the rest of his immortal life.
Without him even knowing, Sera came into his office and when she didn’t see him in his chair she came around to his side of the desk and saw him lying down on the floor with his legs under the desk. “What are you doing Adam?” Although she already knew what he was up to, he’s done this multiple times before and he’ll keep doing this until something kills him.
Clearly he was not expecting anyone to enter, let alone ask him exactly what he was doing.
He looks over a little so he’s face sera, his face is twisted into a mix of guilt and weariness. He mumbles about how he doesn’t know and that he is trying to find a space to sleep? Sera just stares at him as he pulls out some type of food from one of his drawers and starts eating it messily while still on the ground and staring up at the coloured ceiling.
Sera decides to join him by looking at the ceiling, not on the floor though that’s disgusting. After a couple minutes of following the swirls and designs on the ceiling she decided to ask the question that she always asks when he’s like this. “What has made you so gloomy this time Adam?”
It took a minute before Adam just barfed out jumbled words and gave Sera a completely wrong story of what actually happened last night, cause he started in the middle instead of the start. After the word barf was done sera classified the story and made it a little more understandable than ‘we might have had sex and im scared’.
After she clarified, they had a talk for thirty minutes about how he can’t just run from every problem he has just because of the possibility of a bad outcome. In the end, Adam was feeling better and got out from under his desk. Sera had convinced him to go seek out his companion in battle and dinners. That was the last time sera had seen Adam on this day.

The exorcist wasn’t in her office when Adam tried to find her, nor in the fighting arena. Adam went everywhere to find her but to no avail. She was nowhere to be found in the castle , so Adam went outside of his thinking box and started looking at all of their favourite places to go.
At the last stop he finally found her on a bench at a garden, looking at all the flowers and the pond.
He landed with a conscience to at least try to be quiet so he doesn’t disturb her, he knew it was pointless though with how big his wings are he can’t land without a sound coming out of him. She looked over a little at the intrusion of the sound, but after she realised who had landed near her she looked back at the pond where some swans were swimming.
He stared at her a little awkward at not knowing how to start the conversation of saying sorry. He shuffles his feet a little before moving to go sit down beside the lute and stare at the pond.
After a couple minutes Adam couldn’t take the silence anymore and started babbling facts about swans and how they mate for life, and when their partners die they fly as high as they can and let themselves fall to death. He’s laughing and smiling nervously as he explains why they do it and making massive hand gestures to make his point, he looks at lute every 10 seconds to see if he’s annoying her at any second.
She just stares at him with slightly raised eyebrows and a stone face, masking her emotions. Still listening to his rambling though which Adam counted as a win.
After he lost facts about swans, he couldn’t think about saying anything else so he paused and his smile faltered a little as he slumped his shoulders and just looked at her. They stared at each other for two minutes before he just went on another rambling about how sorry for avoiding her and how he went to far last night and that he didn’t mean to. She stopped him half way and asked him what he meant about going too far, he just stared at her and told her what he thought they did last night. She remembered everything they did last night after having coffee and asked him if that’s why he avoided her today.
Feeling stupid the first man just stared ahead of him and ignored the feeling of her exasperated look. After a minute she moved over and leaned on his shoulder and told him that she forgave him, he put his arm around her shoulder.
For the rest of the evening, they just stared at the beautiful falling sun. they didn’t leave until they had to go to sleep so they wouldn’t be exhausted for tomorrow’s work.

Sera was happy that her first man and his lieutenant were back to normal. She might not approve because it’s against so many rules, but as a friend, she’s happy that they are together and make themselves happy.
She knows that one day she will see them have rings on their fingers.
