Jack’s gotten better at communicating nonverbally around the collar’s limitations, but he can’t stop himself from trying to talk every once in a while, interrupting Torchwood hub with a loud bark.
“Do you think it’s a specific breed,” Tosh asks Gwen, “German Shepard, maybe?” and Jack glares at them, clearly unamused at his situation being the basis for a possible betting ring, if the lilt in Tosh’s voice is anything to go by.
“Honestly,” Gwen answers, “I think it might just be exactly what he would sound like if-” Jack barks, interrupting her.
