Confessions at Midnight

Summary:

After hearing Kaveh drunkenly confess to all the sexual fantasies he has, Alhaitham asks him to repeat them, wanting to know who Kaveh directed them at, though he’d never expected that Kaveh’s desires were centred on him. Burdened with the knowledge of Kaveh’s fantasies, Alhaitham starts to imagine them himself, and as Kaveh’s desire infected him, he starts to wonder if he wants to indulge in those same fantasies just as much.

Notes:

Am I a sucker for feelings realisation fics? Yes. Will I keep writing them? Yes.

So, here’s another one, and thanks for reading!

Work Text:

Once again, nighttime descended and Kaveh had not returned. It should not be a problem, Alhaitham knew that- he should simply continue his usual routine and leave Kaveh to his own whims. They were adults, with separate lives and lifestyles, it should not bother him. Instead, for reasons he did not care to elucidate, Alhaitham found himself stepping out into the night, preparing to bring Kaveh back before the night progressed further and he drunk himself into a stupor.

He did not care to think about or appreciate the city at night, focusing only on getting to where he wanted to go as quickly as possible, which did not take too long. He wasn’t sure exactly what state he’d find Kaveh in- whether this night’s round of drinking was one of merriment or one of melancholy. Either way, he ignored the people congregating near the tavern’s entrance, slipping through the door silently, already scanning the familiar scenery in search of Kaveh.

Despite the din of conversation, he still heard the bright sound of Kaveh’s laughter through the mingling mix of irrelevant voices. Turning his head, looking past the collection of patrons in various states of drunkenness, Alhaitham saw a flash of blond hair, and with narrowed eyes, he sighed in irritation as he headed for Kaveh’s table.

Tonight, at least, it seemed he was not alone. Though that did not deter Alhaitham from the fact that Kaveh sat, half slumped in his seat, with a small array of empty glasses before him, his smile lazy and warm, as he laughed at whatever someone had said. He had come here to bring Kaveh back, after yet another evening in a row of similar nights, and would not let these strangers stop him or get in his way.

As he stood watching, he noted how a few people leant close to Kaveh, whispering to him, and he responded in kind, often laughing as if sharing an inside joke. Occasionally, someone would brush against his shoulder, or trail a hand along his neck, leaning closer still to continue whatever conversation they were having.

It did not take a genius to know what they talked about, given that Kaveh could rarely keep a low voice, even when attempting to do so.

‘I know exactly what you mean,’ Kaveh said in reply to someone who sat opposite him, the man mainly obscured from view by other loitering people who now busied themselves with different conversations. ‘I have someone just like that too- someone you can’t help but like- someone you just wanna bend over literally any hard surface and fuck, or-’

Alhaitham would not let his face flush at that, though the natural bodily process of vasodilation still betrayed him and he felt his face heat. He did not need to hear Kaveh describing to a stranger how, exactly, he wished to fuck someone- against a desk, a wall, to bury his face in their chest, every rambling little confession as Kaveh continued made something tighten within his chest, something he refused to name.

Mercifully, someone else tapped the other man on the shoulder, and with a few shared goodbyes, that spiralling mess of a conversation ended, and for a blissful second, Kaveh remained silent, staring down at an already empty glass as if considering drinking from it anyway.

Approaching Kaveh again, the murmur of conversation grew louder, some of the irritating, obnoxious laughter from the nearby people grating on his last nerve as he abruptly weaved past them, just in time to then see Kaveh’s lips brush against the knuckles of a woman’s hand, as she leant close and whispered something Alhaitham didn’t quite hear, before she drew back with a giggle and a wave, and only then did Alhaitham realised he’d stopped moving.

Kaveh, oblivious to and unaware of the world beyond whatever filtered past his drunken haze, laughed a little at whatever she had said, his gaze following her as she walked away, before she disappeared into another conversation at another table.

It didn’t matter what she’d said, he could guess at a myriad of things, yet they were all irrelevant. He stepped closer, enough to reach out and grab Kaveh, though he refrained from doing so just yet. Instead, he hefted out a sigh to catch his attention. ‘Kaveh, here you are again, wasting yet another night.’

Kaveh just greeted him with a wide smile, as if he hadn’t heard a thing he said, hadn’t heard the irritation in his voice. He looked as if he would speak, and yet the moment he went to, he forgot what he’d wanted to say, and instead his gaze trailed back to the woman he’d spoken to earlier.

Alhaitham followed his gaze, feeling his irritation worsen as Kaveh’s eyes strayed away from him to the woman from before. ‘Do you… know her?’

Kaveh blinked in surprise, like he’d not even realised he’d stared. With some effort, he focused on where Alhaitham’s gaze rested before making a noise of realisation. ‘Her? Oh, no- no, I don’t know her. She just asked if I wanted to… step outside, you know, for-’

He didn’t want to hear this.

Hastily, with a strong grip, he hauled Kaveh up and out of his seat, effectively silencing him as he marched him away from the table until Kaveh scrambled into a clumsy walk beside him, all his sounds of protest ignored.

Finally, as the door clattered shut behind him, masking the sound of conversation, Alhaitham felt himself relax, unaware he’d tensed until now, as the night air blew over him once again. Without pause, he continued to walk, pulling harder at Kaveh’s arm when he did not immediately match his pace.

‘Ow- be careful, you’re always so cruel to me,’ Kaveh complained, shaking his arm free of Alhaitham’s grip, immediately stumbling as he walked unaided. ‘You could be nicer to me instead- honestly, pulling me like that, like you want to pull my arm off- unbelievably rude.’

‘Next time, I’ll fling you over my shoulder,’ Alhaitham said flatly, already reaching for Kaveh’s arm to steady him, though he kept his hold lighter this time, in case Kaveh bothered to complain once more.

Though he received a grumbled mutter of a reply, Kaveh didn’t shrug him away this time, letting himself be led. They continued in silence for a while, but the loud, questioning nature of his thoughts meant that he couldn’t even enjoy the quiet, for his mind worked away, replaying the scenes of the night as if they were still there, amidst the noise of the tavern.

‘I’m used to you pathetically whining and drinking by yourself, but there seemed to be a few more people than usual,’ Alhaitham said casually, studying Kaveh’s expression and rosy cheeks out of the corner of his eye, trying to gauge what mood the night had left him in.

‘Don’t sound so annoyed about it, just because you don’t know what fun is,’ Kaveh responded, which was a typical, uninteresting reply, one that lacked any real heat or irritation. ‘It’s not like I’m always alone- I’m not an anti-social hermit like a certain somebody. Maybe you just never- you’re just never there when it’s really busy, maybe they hear you coming and scatter.’

‘I’d not mind if that were true,’ Alhaitham replied, still watching Kaveh’s dazed eyes, how they seemed to stare up at the stars without a care for wherever his feet were leading him. He should be grateful that Alhaitham helped him- a fact he’d remind him of in the morning. For now, however, another unpleasant thought crept back into his mind, and not wanting to let it fester, his own curiosity told him to speak.

‘Kaveh,’ Alhaitham begun, noting how Kaveh at least managed to try and look him in the eye when he spoke, ‘what were you talking about?’ When Kaveh looked to him with a curious, but uncomprehending look, Alhaitham continued. ‘You said: ‘I have someone like that, too’, and if you remember that, you must remember your proceeding words.’

He shouldn’t want to know, he shouldn’t, but he did. He wanted to know who Kaveh meant, who he felt like that about, who directed his thoughts into such a passionate, obscene direction. And so, almost against his better wishes and sensibilities, he’d prompted Kaveh to talk about something that should have remained a drunken, overheard conversation.

‘Oh, that. I was just talking about bending you over and fucking you, that’s all.’

That’s all?’ Alhaitham found himself repeating, momentarily stunned, unintentionally tightening his grip on Kaveh’s arm as he tried to keep his breathing steady, ignoring the surprise that fluttered through him in waves.

‘Well, not just that,’ Kaveh shamelessly admitted, far too casual in tone as he revealed such a momentous confession like he were telling Alhaitham the time of day- like this were inconsequential, as if it didn’t make unfortunate feelings bubble and burn within. ‘Obviously I’d love to fuck you over anything- desk, counter, a chair, I’m not that picky, they’re all good options, no, great options.’

Alhaitham stayed silent, hoping if he didn’t reply than Kaveh, even in his wine-fuelled haze, would gather enough sense to shut up and spare them both.

However, of course, Kaveh continued to speak unprompted as he so often did, every sentence making Alhaitham’s face heat further, even as he stalwartly ignored the way heat prickled his skin, and tried to hurry them both home. ‘I’d want to- to eat you out, before or after I fucked you- no, both, I’d do both. I bet I could make you come just from my tongue- or just from my fingers, obviously I’d fuck you with those, too, and-’

He needed him to stop, to shut up, for both their sakes. Yet Alhaitham didn’t stop him from speaking the litany of filthy, obscene things he wanted to do to him, because maybe he did want to hear this.

‘- or I’d bury my face in your tits,’ Kaveh continued whatever unbearably horny sentiment he’d just said, ‘it’s so unfair how much tight clothing you wear- they’re so in my face all the time, like you’re taunting me-’

The moment he saw their house, Alhaitham fumbled with his keys, the heat coursing through him becoming unbearable, rushing lower, pooling in his stomach and dangerously enough, he felt himself start to get hard.

‘- and I’d suck your nipples til they turned red, not that I’d stop there- I’d have to keep flicking them, or biting them, I bet I could spend a whole day and night- no, forever- playing with your chest- oh, or-’

Once inside, he steered Kaveh through the house, all but pushing him, though Kaveh no longer complained, just continued to ramble his unbidden desires as if this were not the one-sided conversation that it was, where Alhaitham slowly felt as if he were being driven to madness, his thoughts unnaturally swirling as every image and scenario Kaveh mentioned flared to life in his imagination.

Was Kaveh this horny all the time? Alhaitham wonder he ever got anything done, or had any coherent thoughts, considering the seemingly endless fantasies that fell far too freely from his lips. Was it the fault of the alcohol? Or did he truly, seriously, look at Alhaitham and imagine all of this? When Kaveh’s eyes lingered along his body, or stared too long at his face- Alhaitham suddenly wondered if he’d misread Kaveh’s looks as frustration of a different kind, because clearly he had a lot more ‘positive’  thoughts about him than he’d ever admitted to before now.

‘- you’d look so good on my cock,’ Kaveh continued, ‘you’ve got such strong thighs- I’ve looked- I bet you could bounce on my dick for hours, I wanna watch you fuck yourself, see just what that pretty face of yours looks like when you’re all overstimulated, messy, and-’

Unable to take much more of this, Alhaitham shoved the door open to Kaveh’s room, unbothered by the darkness within as he traversed it, and unceremoniously pushed Kaveh to the bed.

Kaveh bounced slightly, having the audacity to pout innocently, like Kaveh himself hadn’t spouted constant sexual fantasies the whole way home.

Thankfully, he’d at least shut up now, giving Alhaitham a chance to breathe, his heart rate far too loud and fast, deafening him despite the newfound silence. ‘Go to bed, Kaveh,’ Alhaitham said, keeping his voice deliberately firm despite the way it threatened to quake and shiver, his fists clenched to ground himself as if he stood on suddenly unstable terrain, Kaveh’s next words threatening to knock him flat.

Yet with a sigh and another mumbled sentence, Kaveh just flopped backwards and collapsed onto the bed, putting an abrupt end to his prior monologue.

He would not panic, Alhaitham told himself, watching as Kaveh’s chest rose and fell, his head turned slightly to the side, hair sticking to the side of his face. He would not panic, or be upset, and he certainly would not do anything about the erection straining the front of his clothes, because then that would betray just how deeply those words affected him, as there would be no doubt that if he were to indulge, he’d come embarrassingly fast with Kaveh’s name on his lips.

Stepping back, his hand clutched the door frame, still partially watching Kaveh’s reposed form in the darkness of his room. With another deliberate breath, he felt his erratic heartbeat begin to calm, and though it took great effort to look away from him, Alhaitham finally managed to turn his back.

Uncertain of how best to proceed, Alhaitham stared at the door without leaving for a moment too long, before finally, with a sigh of frustration, he stepped outside the room and left Kaveh to sleep, while his own body ached with arousal. In the morning, perhaps he’d have a solution, or just have enough wits left to organise his suddenly scrambled thoughts. For now though, he’d return to his room… and, hopefully, manage to sleep just like usual.

Morning brought with it a refreshed mind, and as he first awoke, he did not feel the same as last night. Arousal did not rush through him, and for a moment he thought all would be well, that he could write off last night as one of Kaveh’s strange, wandering, unthinking tangents. Most likely Kaveh would not recall it, and not one to let himself be affected so easily, Alhaitham would carefully pretend it had not happened, rather than try to decipher more about Kaveh’s feelings regarding him.

Yet the moment he stood in the kitchen, wondering what to eat, he heard the telltale sound of footsteps, and he immediately felt his face heat at the realisation that Kaveh was already awake, that he’d have to look him in the eyes after everything he’d said.

‘Good morning,’ Kaveh greeted, sounding much the same as usual, if not a little tired.

Behind him, he heard Kaveh pull out a chair and sit down at the table, likely in the same chair as always, which meant he must stare at Alhaitham’s back, watching him. And despite how casual he seemed, he knew exactly what thoughts Kaveh had about him- was he having them now? As Alhaitham stood beside the counter, was Kaveh already imagining bending him over and-

‘You’re not even going to greet me now?’ Kaveh complained, ‘what did I do this time? The silent treatment is unbelievably petty, even for you.’

‘You’re only complaining because you don’t even know how to be quiet,’ Alhaitham countered, letting out a deliberate breath to steady himself, only then realising where his thoughts had wandered to. ‘I’m just so unused to seeing you at such a reasonable hour that I naturally blocked out the sound of your voice. On that topic, why have you crawled out of bed already?’

‘I can’t even wake up without having you nitpick at me? What is wrong with you?’ Despite his annoyance, Kaveh had to stifle a yawn, effectively ruining the air he’d tried to uphold. ‘If you must know, I just so happened to wake up and thought I may as well start the day… though now I wish i’d just stayed in my room until you’d left.’

‘There’s still time, you can go back to your room now,’ Alhaitham said, half hoping he would, because just the sound of Kaveh’s voice made his muscles tense, trying to keep his breathing regular, as if this were like every other day

‘As if,’ Kaveh said with a sigh, ‘I’m here now, you’ll just have to put up with me.’

‘So nothing new there,’ Alhaitham said, finally looking over his shoulder at Kaveh to meet his eyes and- that was a mistake. Kaveh looked completely unaffected, yet his words from last night had infected him, and even just staring into Kaveh’s eyes made uncomfortable warmth spread through him, his gaze lingering on Kaveh’s lips, recalling too vividly how they’d moved as he’d spoken all his fantasies.

He couldn’t look at Kaveh’s face any more- maybe not ever again, if only to stop the salacious thoughts that haunted him, because they were all Kaveh’s fault, his fantasies, his imagination. Only when he heard a call of his name did he recall that, in fact, time had not paused, and that he had stared unabashedly at the hint of Kaveh’s chest between the gap of his shirt.

‘You’re staring,’ Kaveh pointed out, sounding worried, ‘Is something wrong? Do I have something on my…’ Kaveh followed Alhaitham’s gaze, staring down at himself, ‘my chest? Hmm, no… I’ve not spilt anything… is it a loose strand?’ Awfully, as if directly taunting him, Kaveh fiddled with the opening of his shirt, inadvertently flashing even more skin as he studied the edges for frayed ends. ‘No… Seriously, what were you looking at?’

‘Nothing.’ Sharply, Alhaitham turned his face, staring down at where his own hands rested atop the counter, his face agonisingly warm. This was bad and getting worse, as he tried to focus on anything other than Kaveh- how his lips moved, how his fingers held the edge of his shirt, exposing his chest more, how Alhaitham could all too easily imagine him doing far too many other things with his mouth and hands.

At the sound of chair legs scraping against the floor, he flinched, realising too late that he should move away, for too soon, Kaveh’s steps brought him closer, and he stood behind him. Already, this position was not lost to him- that he stood with his back to Kaveh, pressed up against the counter, and it really would be all too easy if he just bent himself over to-

‘Are you still ignoring me?’ Kaveh asked, sounding concerned enough that Alhaitham knew he must have already spoken, and that the lack of reply had started to worry him. ‘Actually… you look a little red… are you unwell? I don’t think I’ve ever seen you… this flushed before.’

That was too dangerous a sentence. Easily Alhaitham’s mind twisted it, imagining him saying that in an entirely different scenario, as Kaveh stripped him bare, ran his hands over heated skin, his hands gripping his hips, his hot breath against his neck-

When a hand rested against his waist, he flinched again, and maybe despite a full night of rest, sleep hadn’t refreshed him, leaving him distracted and defencelessness. Still, though Kaveh’s hold was light and tentative, it did little to extinguish the growing disaster of a fire inside him, the touch searing him like a brand, even through the barrier of his clothing

‘Haitham?’ Kaveh prompted, the heat of his breath fanning over his neck, the warmth of his body so temptingly close, so much like the fantasy that plagued him, that he could imagine just pressing backwards, closing the distance between them.

He couldn’t let this continue. Already, arousal rushed through him, spreading like a very localised heatwave until everything felt too hot and too uncomfortable, worsened by that barely there touch that Alhaitham all too easily imagined turning possessive, gripping him tight as he fucked into him from behind.

Quickly, he stepped aside, nudging Kaveh away with his shoulder until he gained some more distance, no longer close enough to feel Kaveh’s warmth seep into him. ‘I’m fine. You’re just bothering me.’ That was not a lie, at least- Kaveh’s presence today really had bothered him, he just didn’t need to know how exactly it bothered him. ‘I’m leaving now. I’ll see you later.’

‘Wh- you’re leaving already? You’re leaving early for work? Okay, now I really know there’s something wrong, and- ah, hey, don’t just walk away, I’m still talking-’

Instead of listening, Alhaitham continued to hurry away, only finally relaxing when the front door shut behind him, an effective barrier between himself and Kaveh. As much as he wanted to see this as a minor, nonetheless irritating, momentary mental fixation, part of him wondered if he’d truly never be able to look at Kaveh without imagining the all too casual way Kaveh had revealed his sexual fantasies. It was all Kaveh’s fault for infecting him, for bothering him with those thoughts.

Yet the moment he thought that, an uncomfortable realisation spread through him like a grim, cold shower of rain, dowsing the past fire of arousal so abruptly, that he gritted his teeth.

Kaveh’s fantasies would only affect him… if he let himself be affected. Put another way, they would have no hold on him if he did not, perhaps, share a similar want. As must as he wanted to dispute that, no other explanation came to mind, because there could be no other explanation.

Still, he couldn’t actually like Kaveh. They argued constantly, annoyed one another without end, and found conflict easier than resolution. And yes, that was not to say he didn’t care for Kaveh, though he tried to never make it obvious, and yes, to himself he’d at least admit he even enjoyed his company, despite the bickering. And perhaps, admittedly, Kaveh was extraordinarily attractive- but that wasn’t a new thought, he’d thought as much since he first saw him. His silky hair, his warm smile, the sparkle in his eyes, the sound of his voice, his laughter, how he never usually minded if Kaveh touched him, and perhaps he did lean into the touch if Kaveh’s hand rested at his shoulder, or he brushed against his arm, or-

His thoughts had unhelpfully spiralled again. It was a rare phenomenon, that his mind betrayed him, yet something about Kaveh, especially today, made it feel like a strangely regular occurrence. Kaveh, as always, had found yet another way to disrupt the peace of his life, and wrecked him with all the care of a tempest, sweeping away his rational thoughts and muddling his mind.

For now, he would walk as slowly as possible to work as to not appear earlier than necessary, and attempt to leave confusing thoughts of Kaveh until later. With that, he finally moved away from the door, and for now at least, pushed away the thoughts that plagued him.

Returning home, he had expected and hoped that Kaveh’s erratic schedule would keep him out of the house. Yet though he entered into a silent home, the moment he walked into the kitchen he immediately locked eyes with Kaveh, and the unfortunate heat that flared within dashed all his hopes so throughly, that he stood and stared in silence for a moment too long.

‘Haitham, there you are,’ Kaveh greeted, his lips quirked into a slightly nervous smile as he jumped up from the chair, standing stiffly as he regarded him, though he said no more.

Strange, for Kaveh to be so quiet. Unless something bad had happened, then Kaveh had a tendency to mope, to become silent and reflective, stuck within the trappings of his own thoughts, repeating all his worries until he slipped further into himself.

‘Is something wrong?’ Alhaitham asked, having to forcibly stop himself from saying something antagonistic just for the sake of jolting Kaveh out of the unsettlingly anxious expression on his face.

‘Ah, no, no, nothing is… wrong,’ Kaveh said with an unconvincing laugh. His gaze flickered over him, and for a horrible moment, Alhaitham felt uncomfortably seen, like Kaveh knew exactly what he was thinking when Alhaitham stared at his lips too long. ‘Do you have a moment? I just want to… talk to you about… something.’

‘You’re strangely polite,’ Alhaitham observed, stepping closer, still scrutinising Kaveh’s face to discern what emotions rested there. ‘What have you done this time? Or rather, what specific disaster of your own making has befallen you today?’

Kaveh’s eyes narrowed, though with great effort and a hefty sigh, he managed to stop himself from arguing back. ‘I’m not… even acknowledging that- though obviously, it must be said that nothing is wrong, and that, quite innocently, I’ve been here working on my proposals.’

‘You said you wouldn’t acknowledge it, yet you continue to acknowledge it anyway, do you really-’

‘Haitham,’ Kaveh cut him off, levelling him with a weary stare, his smile falling, and that sight at least made Alhaitham close his mouth, pointedly arching a brow to prompt Kaveh to speak. ‘Let’s not do this, not now. I just… want to, ah, ask you about something. Then we can go about our days and ignore each other.’

‘Fine,’ Alhaitham replied, ‘go on, then.’

‘About last night…’ Kaveh begun, which was the worst way that sentence could have started, taunting Alhaitham with what was to come, ‘Admittedly, I didn’t immediately remember what happened, but you… you walked me back here last night, didn’t you?’

Alhaitham relaxed a little, ignoring how his heart pounded as he bit back a sigh of relief. ‘Yes, that’s right. Is that all you needed to know?’

‘Ah, yes,’ Kaveh replied, though his lips parted as if to speak, and once more Alhaitham found himself staring at his lips, imagining how soft they must feel, wondering if he were as good with his tongue as Alhaitham thought he was- but Kaveh started to speak again, thankfully interrupting his thoughts. ‘Now, this might be nothing, perhaps I’m imagining things, but… did I happen to say anything, uh, potentially strange to you? Last night, I mean.’

What an awful question. Alhaitham didn’t want to answer that. If he did, would Kaveh flush and stutter, realising what he’d said? Or would he stare, oblivious, and ask Alhaitham to repeat all the licentious fantasies Kaveh revealed? If it were the latter- Alhaitham’s face heated preemptively, knowing without a doubt he’d not manage to repeat half of what Kaveh said without getting hard, and neither of them needed to see that right now.

‘Nothing too out of character, no,’ Alhaitham settled for saying, watching Kaveh’s face with great caution to try and guess his next sentence, and when Kaveh paused for thought and brushed a strand of hair from his eyes, Alhaitham traced the movement, noting how long Kaveh’s fingers were, and knowing how good he’d always been with his hands, he wondered just what those fingers would feel like if they-

‘Well, that’s entirely unhelpful and you know it,’ Kaveh sighed out, shaking his head dismissively, ‘I’m just… worried that, perhaps, I said something I shouldn’t have… and seeing as you know what I said, then you could alleviate my worries- which is rare for you, I know. Still, if you just tell me… that I didn’t say anything strange, then I could stop worrying about it.’

Alhaitham regarded him for another long moment, unable to stop himself from lingering on the sight of the blush dusting Kaveh’s cheeks, how he deliberately stared at the floor and not at his face, avoiding even accidental eye contact.

Seeing that, Alhaitham had an inkling as to what Kaveh was really saying. ‘Why would you be worried? Unless you think you know what you said.’

Kaveh’s lips parted in surprise, his wide-eyed stare finally flitting to Alhaitham, and just that obvious shock revealed that Kaveh already knew exactly what he’d said. Still, though, Kaveh laughed awkwardly, which did little to dispel the truth, though he clearly thought it did, because he continued to speak anyway. ‘What makes you say that? If I- if I knew what I said, I’d never ask you to-’

‘I said ‘you think you know’, emphasis on the word ‘think’,’ Alhaitham corrected, ‘so, to know for sure, you had to ask me to corroborate what you thought you knew. Well, Kaveh? You look embarrassed about something. Did you happen to remember what you said? Perhaps you’d like to share your thoughts once again.’

Kaveh’s eyes narrowed, his stare both irritated and accusatory as he realised Alhaitham had teased him. His face flushed redder, his lips turning to a frown as Kaveh shot him a heated glare. ‘I can’t believe- you really… you knew exactly what I’d said and yet- you ass, you-’

‘Of course you use that as an insult, after all, we both know that my ass is on your mind,’ Alhaitham replied, more amused by Kaveh’s embarrassed anger than anything, glad to have the focus from himself removed, that Kaveh didn’t know how much his words had affected him.

‘Shut up- that’s not… not true…’ Kaveh then trailed off with a defeated sigh instead of shouting once more, or storming out and loudly talking to himself about all the ways Alhaitham infuriated him, which he often did. Instead, he clenched and unclenched his fists, staring fixedly at the ground as he steadied his breathing, his eyes still narrowed, though he seemed more upset than angry. ‘So… I really did say…’ he swallowed, pausing for thought as if the words were arduous tricky things that refused to let him speak them. ‘This morning, then… when I touched you and you- you recoiled…’

‘That wasn’t what happened,’ Alhaitham said, just as Kaveh inhaled, ready to speak and spiral further into his own wrong conclusions. However, when Kaveh’s gaze fixed on him, curious and expectant, Alhaitham realised that to actually stop Kaveh from feeling bad, he’d have to reveal the real reason he’d hurried away. Which, considering how dejected and miserable Kaveh looked, was not a hard conclusion to come to. With a small smile, Alhaitham held Kaveh’s stare, pausing to study his face before speaking, ‘I was actually thinking about you bending me over the counter and fucking me. Does that ‘alleviate your worries’, Kaveh?’

Kaveh’s face flushed so fast, and so heavily, that for a moment Alhaitham thought he might just faint from the sudden blood rush. ‘That’s- there’s no way… you’re just- just making fun of me, aren’t you? Just because of what I said, you’re-’

‘Yes, you’re right,’ Alhaitham interrupted, ‘because of what you said, I’m thinking of you fucking me. That’s your fault, you know.’

My fault? It’s my fault that you’re- no, this… this isn’t funny, Haitham,’ Kaveh eventually said, calming himself down, his tone no longer frantic but slow and serious. ‘I shouldn’t have said… any of that, it’s completely inappropriate… despite your teasing, I bet it still made you uncomfortable…’

‘Again, you’re right,’ Alhaitham replied, taking another step closer, hoping Kaveh couldn’t hear his beating heart that sounded too loud to his own ears. ‘It did make me uncomfortable, because you made me hard, you made me think about all the things you said. So, yes, that was uncomfortable.’

‘What- what is wrong with you today? More wrong than usual, I mean. Haitham- I don’t understand… what you’re saying…’

‘Yes, you do,’ Alhaitham insisted, having to pause as his own tone of voice caught him off guard. He could have, at any point in this conversation, deflected or turned away, he could have misdirected Kaveh, or brushed this off- instead, he’d realised he had stepped closer to Kaveh, enough to almost reach out a touch him, and had not denied anything, but reiterated something he should have kept to himself.

Kaveh’s thoughts clearly were contagious, because he no longer felt in his right mind. Just looking at Kaveh felt like a shock of arousal, a thousand currents charging through him whenever they locked eyes. And just for a second, red-faced and stunned, Kaveh’s eyes darted away from his face, to his chest- and even if it were only for a second, just that little look reminded him of what exactly Kaveh said he wanted to do to him, and he burnt with arousal all over again.

He wanted to see just how desperate Kaveh really was for him, just what he’d do if given the chance. Whether he really was just desperate himself, Alhaitham would never admit as much. He kept his face as calm and neutral as possible as he took his cape off and flung it over the countertop, ignoring the trembling beat of his own heart, as he slowly, deliberately raised a hand, pointedly lowered it, then held the bottom of his shirt with that same hand, and carefully pulled the fabric upwards.

‘Wh-what are you doing?’ Kaveh spluttered, his hand flying up to his own face as if to cover his eyes, though notably his eyes remained wide and uncovered, unable to stop watching each inch of skin revealed no matter how abashed and ruddy his complexion.

‘I think that’s obvious,’ Alhaitham replied, further emboldened by Kaveh’s melodramatic look of shock. He rose his shirt just above his chest, leaving the fabric bunched up beneath his armpits, easy enough to pull back down if Kaveh rejected him. ‘If you remember exactly what you said you wanted to do, then why not do it? If I recall, you said you wanted to ‘suck m-’

‘Ah- no, don’t just… say that,’ Kaveh interrupted, pointedly staring at the wall with such deliberate concentration, it was almost comical. ‘You’d just… let me do that? You can’t… you can’t seriously want me to-’

‘I wouldn’t do something if I didn’t want to- I thought you knew that,’ Alhaitham reminded him, carefully watching Kaveh’s expression. For a moment, he wondered if he’d pushed him too hard, if Kaveh’s fantasies were just that- fantasies, not something he’d ever wanted to enact.

Yet something about his words made Kaveh’s nervous, almost frightened expression soften. With a small sigh, Kaveh removed his hand from his face, his tensed posture relaxing somewhat, his gaze slowly roaming the expanse Alhaitham’s stomach, his breath hitching and his face still temptingly flushed as he finally looked exactly where he wanted to, directly at his chest. ‘You’re really… the most impossible person I’ve ever met,’ Kaveh breathed out, ‘Would you really let me…’

‘Yes, Kaveh.’ Alhaitham said, unable to resist a sigh. ‘This is a clear, open invitation- would you like it in writing? Would you like me to walk away, write you a fancy letter of approval, then return, wait for you to read it and-’

‘Okay, okay- I get it,’ Kaveh cut him off, ‘I can’t believe… you’d really…’ He swallowed away whatever he’d been about to say, letting his hesitation slip away with a long sigh to steady himself. With that, he finally stepped forward, closing the distance between them. He looked up at him with wide-blown pupils, red eyes shimmering with desire and disbelief. Once more, his stare dragged over Alhaitham’s exposed skin, his hands reaching out to grab for his hips. ‘Lean against the counter,’ Kaveh instructed, pushing him back by the hips until the Alhaitham’s back hit the counter.

Alhaitham suddenly found he couldn’t speak, unable to find a way to taunt Kaveh further when he himself stood there with his chest bare, his hands reaching back to grip the countertop as he tried not to shiver at the warmth of Kaveh’s breath.

Finally, after another pause, Kaveh’s fingers trailed upwards from the bottom of his stomach, muscles contracting and shivering beneath his touch. As his hand reached Alhaitham’s chest, he hesitated, yet the next moment, Kaveh cupped his pecs in his hands, holding them like they were breasts, and seeing Kaveh hold them like that made embarrassment creep through him, as if only then realising how thick and plump his own chest looked.

He ran fingers along the skin, testing Alhaitham’s reactions, not doing much more than brush against the gem at his sternum before dipping lower, fingers circling a nipple. As Kaveh delicately ran his finger against an areola, Alhaitham felt himself shudder, already feeling his nipples harden under the attention, and if Kaveh’s little noise of surprise was any indication, then both of them had underestimated just how sensitive he might be. Kaveh easily proved that theory right by rubbing his thumb against a stiff nipple, to which Alhaitham moaned before he could stop himself, the sound surprising them both.

Kaveh’s hand froze, and in silence they both watched Alhaitham’s blush spread down to his chest. With an almost wild grin, Kaveh’s stare snapped back to Alhaitham’s face. ‘Oh, you’re sensitive here. Did you even know? Do you even realise how you look right now?’

‘Stop talking- you’ve already done enough of it,’ Alhaitham said, trying to sound firm despite the increasingly breathy tone of his voice, ‘you’ve said what you want to do- so do it. Or do you lack the ability to act? Where your words hollow?’

‘And you’re talking too much for someone pushing his chest into my hands,’ Kaveh retorted, purposefully drawing his hand back just to watch the way Alhaitham unconsciously tried to follow the retreating touch. At Alhaitham’s glare, Kaveh let out a small laugh. ‘Don’t get upset at me for how your body reacted.’

‘So, you didn’t mean what you said?’ Alhaitham said, ignoring Kaveh’s teasing, trying to keep himself still, ‘you really are all talk, then. If you refuse to act on your words, then I’ll just leave, and you’ll miss out on your chance to enact all your fantasies…’ He reached out to touch Kaveh’s hand, fingertips lingering on his wrist before wrapping around him, directing Kaveh’s hand back to his chest, letting out a deliberate moan this time when Kaveh’s fingers brushed against a nipple. ‘You could have me however you liked, Kaveh. You just have to actually do something rather than prevaricate for once. I know you want me, you know you want me- and if you act, you’ll have me. That’s simple enough for you, isn’t it?’

Kaveh’s lips parted as if to reply, yet he floundered, his widened eyes trailing away from Alhaitham’s face to where his own hand rested. His mouth closed after a sharp intake of breath, and finally, almost pointedly, he shut himself up and let his hands speak for him.

Still with a light touch, Kaveh raised both hands and only when he purposefully rubbed at both nipples did Alhaitham release his wrist with a gasp, uncaring for how he pressed into the touch, even as his pants felt increasingly tight. His hips must have jolted forwards and betrayed him, for suddenly Kaveh wedged a thigh between his legs, and Alhaitham let out a moan equally as relieved as it was stunned, unable to stop the little twitches of his hips as Kaveh’s fingers skilfully teased his nipples.

He’d thought this was the option that would give Kaveh a chance to be desperate, while leaving him mostly unaffected- but either Kaveh’s touch was ridiculously effective, or he’d been this sensitive all along. Already, his legs felt weak, his cock leaking into his underwear, straining to be free, while Kaveh kept the perfect amount of pressure with his leg- and if it weren’t for that, then when Kaveh next tweaked a nipple between his fingers, Alhaitham felt almost certain his own legs would have given up on him.

With Kaveh’s fingers rubbing in teasing, circular motions, Alhaitham had to bite his lip to stop his near constant string of moans, actively fighting his own reflexes so his jaw didn’t just slacken and reveal each and every sound.

Kaveh’s hands cupped both pecs, thumbs swiping over his nipples once more. ‘They really are like tits… if I pushed them together, I bet I could fuck them, too.’ He stared down at his own hands in disbelief, his eyes dark and laden with desire, his expression one both of intrigue and arousal, as he lightly pinched a nipple just to watch Alhaitham struggle not to writhe. ‘How about this?’ Kaveh said, waiting for Alhaitham’s hazy gaze to fix on him before he leant forward, pointedly letting the tip of his tongue peek past his lips, so close to his chest without yet touching.

Alhaitham didn’t trust his voice all of a sudden, knowing that no matter what he said, or what he wanted to imply, he’d sound breathy and hoarse. Instead, he gave a subtle nod, hoping Kaveh wouldn’t tease and prompt for more- not now, not when he ached for the implication of his touch.

Mercifully, with sparkle of delight in his stare, Kaveh finally swiped a nipple with the tip of his tongue, and the warm and wet sensation had Alhaitham choking on a near silent moan. The amount of pure arousal that coursed through him just at that seared like a burn, and though he felt Kaveh’s smile against his chest, he couldn’t even think of a retort, because there wasn’t one- Kaveh morphed him into putty, malleable, needing his touch to shape him, to give him what he needed.

He didn’t think he’d be this sensitive, hadn’t realised he’d so easily revealed a personal weak spot, something for Kaveh to exploit. But despite the flash of embarrassment at how vulnerable he’d made himself, Kaveh’s tongue flicked over a nipple again and every thought other than desire disappeared.

It felt like hours, agonisingly wonderful, aching hours of Kaveh playing with his chest, as Alhaitham’s hips jolted against his leg, grinding against him, bitten-off noises of relief still managing to escape him whenever his lips parted. All the while, Kaveh’s tongue continued its exploration of his chest, licking and swirling around increasingly overstimulated nipples, his fingers pinching and rubbing whatever his mouth didn’t suck or tongue at.

When Kaveh’s teeth scraped against an overly sensitive nipple, his body could take no more. With a firm push of his hips into Kaveh’s thigh, Alhaitham shook and trembled his way through release, gasping at the wave of sensitivity that washed through him, drowning him until he barely heard the long, slightly pathetic moan that he couldn’t hold back, the sound nearly not registering as one of his own making.

As he trembled through his orgasm, Kaveh’s hands steadied him, murmuring something that sounded like mindless praise or comfort, keeping his leg just where Alhaitham needed it until his hips stopped rubbing against him, the little twitches he gave only overstimulating him until Kaveh, for better or worse, pulled his leg away.

Hearing some sort of needy, barely suppressed noise from Kaveh, Alhaitham forced his eyes open, needing to see whatever Kaveh’s expression was, or to know whatever it was that made Kaveh sound like that. Looking through the veil of his lashes, he saw Kaveh’s flushed cheeks, how his mouth remained open in surprise, his stare turned downwards, fixed on the wet spot adorning his own leg. Belatedly, with some unfortunate levels of mental effort, Alhaitham had to suppress a shudder when he realised exactly what that was.

He’d soaked enough through the front of his pants to dirty Kaveh’s leg, too. It was as if he hadn’t realised, so lost in pleasure that he’d forgotten about his own clothing, about the mess. Yet seeing Kaveh’s laboured breathing, and fixing his sights on the bulge in Kaveh’s own pants, another pang of arousal struck him, and he needed more.

‘You should… should show me what else you want to do,’ Alhaitham managed to say between heavy breaths, keeping his half-lidded eyes focused on Kaveh’s face, at the surprise and all too obvious arousal flooding his expression.

Kaveh didn’t immediately speak, just stared at him, at the saliva still slicking Alhaitham’s hard, puffy nipples, an audible breath escaping him before his gaze eventually trailed up to meet Alhaitham’s eyes. ‘You really… want more?’ He swallowed, gathering his thoughts, his gaze dipping lower again to roam Alhaitham’s body. ‘I said a lot of things, I revealed all the things I wanted to do to you… you’ll have to be more specific- tell me what you want.’

Now or never- some moments were truly portentous, pivotal, baring the weight of so much significance that they threatened to crush and subvert every aspect of someone’s life. But with Kaveh watching him like that, Alhaitham no longer cared- let himself be crushed under the weight of his decision. Kaveh had already changed so much about his life- what was one more irreversible change?

As Alhaitham took a step forward, Kaveh took a step back, but Alhaitham did not follow. Instead, without further ceremony, he turned around, and bent himself over the counter, biting back another moan as his nipples rubbed against the cooler, smoother material of the countertop. Looking over his shoulder, he felt a smile tug at his lips at Kaveh’s delightfully stunned, red face. ‘How’s this for telling you?’

For perhaps the first time since they’d met, Kaveh seemed truly speechless. After a moment of looking back into Kaveh’s widened stare, he thought perhaps that he’d remain there, dumbstruck and staring, without ever stepping forward, closing the distance between them. Yet despite the hesitant way he raised his hand, Alhaitham still felt it press against him not a moment later, cautious and light, but he didn’t pull away, letting his fingers run up the back of Alhaitham’s thigh, before inevitably cupping his ass through the fabric of his clothes.

‘Nice and firm, as expected,’ Kaveh said in appreciation.

‘As expected- so, you have been thinking about it.’

‘I can’t really deny it at this point, so, yes, yes I’ve been looking and thinking about this.’ Kaveh gave a deliberate squeeze to the muscle of his ass. ‘And given how suggestively you’ve bent yourself over, then you really have been thinking the same as me for once.’ Without further waiting, Kaveh reached around and undid the fastenings of his pants with ease, pulling down his pants and underwear in one fluid motion, and with only a mild pause, ensured Alhaitham stepped out of them without tripping, before he flung them somewhere else. ‘You’re always saying I should stop talking so much, so how about I put my mouth to better use? Just spread your legs and I’ll show you.’

Utterly unfair that such simple words made him bite his lip to hide a groan, feeling the heat of his face worsen as arousal surged through him like an adrenaline rush. He’d started this, had willingly given Kaveh almost every ounce of control and as he spread his own legs, he tried and failed not to shudder at the heat of Kaveh’s breath warming over his thigh. ‘Then show me. Maybe if you do it well enough, I’ll stop complaining about you running your mouth.’

‘As if you’d stop complaining about anything I’d do,’ Kaveh replied with dry amusement, ‘no, what you really mean, is next time you tell me to stop talking, you’ll tell me how exactly you want me to shut up- just like I’m about to now. If I do well, of course- which I will-’

‘Then stop prattling on and-ah-’

Kaveh took that moment to lick a stripe over his hole, effectively silencing him. For a second, Alhaitham felt the hint of Kaveh’s smile against his skin, clearly pleased with himself for finally managing to do something that meant Alhaitham couldn’t have the last word.

He felt how that tongue swirled around his hole, slow and teasing, licking stripes down to his perineum. It felt strange at first, to feel something so warm and wet against sensitive skin, prodding and probing. Yet it didn’t take long for him to adjust, to go back to biting his lip to stifle sounds and try to not press his hips back against Kaveh’s face as that tongue dipped inside, thrusting lightly until he squirmed in place.

With his hands resting against his ass, Kaveh used them to spread him open, further revealing his hole to him. What an obscene sight he must make, if Kaveh’s barely suppressed groan was any indication, as his tongue delved back in, licking over sensitive skin before dipping back inside.

Alhaitham’s knees wobbled, and he clamped a hand over his mouth to smother his moans, trying to keep himself quiet even when his nipples rubbed against the counter, sending further shocks of arousal shuddering down his spine. Increasingly hazy and breathless, he felt his heart rate soar with every lick and flick of Kaveh’s tongue.

His hard cock still hung between his legs, aching and untouched, wet and leaking, but his hands were too busy, either bracing himself or ineffectually concealing his noises. Even if he did touch himself, release would come too quickly, and then this might just end.

‘Kaveh,’ he said through his fingers, repeating his name when Kaveh didn’t immediately reply. When Kaveh pulled back, it took too much concentrated effort not to push his hips back and follow, focusing instead on keeping his voice stable. ‘Kaveh, do more.’

‘What do you…’ Kaveh trailed off, audibly pausing for thought. ‘What do you mean ‘do more’- that’s too vague, Haitham, I don’t know what you-’

With a weighted, deliberate sigh to cut him off, Alhaitham gathered enough of himself to glower at Kaveh over his shoulder, almost losing his own carefully constructed expression at the sight of Kaveh’s flushed face, with spit slicking his reddened lips. ‘Kaveh, you said you wanted to bend me over and fuck me- did you mean with just… just your tongue?’

Despite everything, Kaveh still somehow looked stunned, as if he had forgotten where his mouth even was just a moment ago, like he could never have predicted this situation to take yet another turn. ‘Ah… aha, you really, you mean-’

‘It’s your fantasy, Kaveh. You want to enact it, don’t you?’ Alhaitham goaded, trying to ignore the way heat spread through him, increasingly uncomfortable the longer Kaveh went without touching him. ‘Then you should… prepare me some more.’

Kaveh took a moment to pause, watching him with that same nervous look from before. ‘Shouldn’t I-’

‘No.’ Alhaitham cut off whatever he’d gone to say, deciding he could probably predict Kaveh’s lost sentence anyway. ‘Keep going. Saliva should be fine, and I don’t want to move.’

‘You’re really… I‘m running out of ways to say how impossible I find you, Haitham.’

‘And yet you’ve said it anyway.’

From there, it felt like a blur, like it could have been minutes or indefinite hours, of Kaveh working his fingers in and out, adding more until he stretched Alhaitham out. Somehow, though it felt almost too tight, it still wasn’t enough, every touch against his prostate felt like a tease of what was to come.

He had to resist the urge to bite his tongue when Kaveh pulled a particularly debauched noise from his lips, and he felt even the tips of his ears burn as he realised that sound was one of his own. Yet thankfully Kaveh didn’t tease him, just pushed deeper inside, slightly more frantic, slightly faster than before until it felt like every one of Alhaitham’s nerves were singed with hot white fire. And distantly, he wondered if he’d really succeeded in making Kaveh desperate after all, because he twisted his fingers almost savagely, scissoring him open faster, spurred on by the jolts of Alhaitham’s hips.

Finally, though, with a breath of exertion, he soon felt Kaveh pulling his fingers free with a slick, wet sound that only worsened his arousal. Looking over his own shoulder, he had to wonder how salacious and wrecked he must look to have Kaveh’s look so stunned, that flicker of budding hesitancy from before disappearing, replaced only with a look of mirrored arousal.

It felt strange, feeling the heat of Kaveh’s body behind him, his hands firmly planted on Alhaitham’s hips, the position already suggestive of what was to happen. Both stared at one another, stricken by a rare moment of nearly polite silence, as they both waited for the other to speak, to give this situation the final push it needed until it could spiral further, dragging them both down with the heat and intensity of shared desire.

Deciding he may as well take the initiative once more tonight, Alhaitham held Kaveh’s eyes as he spoke. ‘What are you waiting for? We both know… what we want. You weren’t exactly shy about your absurd fantasies.’

‘Not so absurd,’ Kaveh refuted, despite the blush burning his cheeks, ‘seeing as you’re here…’ Something about his own sentence made him laugh to himself, the sound one of disbelief more than anything. ‘And you say it like they’re just my fantasies- like you weren’t the one who…’ he gestured pointedly at Alhaitham’s current position.

‘It’s only because I had the misfortune of listening to you,’ Alhaitham said, as though he were not pushing his hips back in an attempt to get Kaveh to hurry up, already feeling uncomfortably empty, heat still simmering through him in waves.

That at least, made Kaveh smile with affection. ‘See? You should listen to me more often, then,’ Kaveh said, far too triumphant and smug as he lined himself up. ‘If you hadn’t, we’d never have ended up here- ah, but of course, it’s my fault isn’t it? For speaking in the first place. Because you certainly haven’t done anything that betrays desire, have you?’

‘I always listen to you- whether I want to or not,’ Alhaitham replied, keeping his voice firm and steady as he tried to regulate his breathing, already feeling the hot press of Kaveh against him. ‘You’ve just infected me with your stupidity-’

‘For something so stupid, you seem to be indulging me an awful lot,’ Kaveh cut him off, choosing that moment to press the tip against him, something like a bitten off whine bubbling in his throat as he pushed inside, his hands re-adjusting Alhaitham’s hips to perfect the angle. ‘Relax, Haitham, just try and breathe.’

‘I’m already- relaxed,’ Alhaitham replied sharply, knowing his tone had essentially proved Kaveh correct. Hanging his head slightly, he kept his arms braced, only then feeling how his breath scraped against his throat, heavy and harsh. Again, he felt a twinge of disbelief, as if he still could not believe the situation he had helped to materialise, yet they were already here, already somewhat joined, and there was nothing in him that wanted this to stop. ‘Don’t stop now.’

Behind him, he heard Kaveh’s sharp intake of breath, as if about to retort, yet he thought better of it, mumbling something to himself instead. Finally, Kaveh continued to push inside, and despite the slight burn at his rim, even that felt pleasant as Kaveh stretched him wide, taking his time to slide in inch by inch, until he eventually seated himself fully inside.

Alhaitham attempted to breathe as his lungs struggled to draw air, his breathing already ragged as he tried to adjust, tried to accommodate the obscene stretch and fullness. Though opening his mouth only allowed a shaky moan to escape him, as Kaveh’s length pressed perfectly against his prostate in a way that made him want to rock back- and from the way Kaveh gave a small laugh of disbelief, his hips had unconsciously started to move, trying to make Kaveh fuck him already.

‘Let me know if it’s too much,’ Kaveh murmured, his words punctuated with a bitten of gasp as he pulled his hips back, testing the stretch, moaning at the tightness. Deeming Alhaitham adjusted enough, he gave his first thrust, pushing back inside so deeply that Alhaitham’s legs trembled, stabilised only by Kaveh’s hands on his hips.

It continued like that for a little while, with shallow, slow thrusts that rubbed against every sensitive spot, his chest rubbing against the counter, his cock dripping further as Kaveh wrenched sound after sound from his throat, though he tried to bury his face in his arms. Yet every rock of his body only pulled more noises from his lips, and even though he tried to hide them, the moment Kaveh pushed inside with a harder jolt of his hips, a particularly carnal moan escaped him, completely loud and unconcealed.

Before he even had the chance to feel embarrassed, Kaveh swore under his breath, his rhythm stuttering before he replicated the same movement, wresting a similar sound from Alhaitham’s throat- and with that, the slow, careful rhythm was all but lost. Kaveh set a new rhythm, drawing out slowly only to ram back in fast, skin slapping against skin, the sound echoing alongside their shared moans.

Every thrust rocked him against the counter- and it should have been uncomfortable, to be pressed into the hard edges, to have his skin rub against it, yet those thoughts didn’t register, his mind too lost in pleasure to think of anything over than the shock of desire every time Kaveh fucked into him. He felt as if he’d melted, his body as useless as jelly, gradually more and more unable to support himself if not for the counter and Kaveh’s increasingly tight grip on his hips.

They must make a ridiculous sight, still mostly dressed, sweaty and red-faced, moaning openly as Kaveh drove into him again and again, yet he couldn’t care less, couldn’t care much about anything other than Kaveh inside of him, stretching him out, his breath against his neck, his fingernails digging into his skin.

He couldn’t even begin to care about his ability to walk tomorrow, and from the way Kaveh thrust in, hard and deep, then he’d taken it as a personal challenge to make sure Alhaitham’s legs wobbled and trembled- and he didn’t need to keep trying, because he’d already achieved as much, as Alhaitham quaked in place. All the while, his upper body remained slumped over the counter, rocked forward and backward by every press of Kaveh’s hips, or whenever Kaveh’s hands dragged him backwards.

Each movement made his lips part, unable and increasingly unwilling to bite back any moans and gasps that left him. With Kaveh’s bruising grip holding him in place, he still arched his back, trying to push backwards into his heavy thrusts, his entire body tingling with arousal, especially when his sensitive nipples pressed against the counter- and if he deliberately rubbed his chest in place to stimulate himself, then he couldn’t hold himself accountable for that, not with the fog of desire dampening every thought.

Distantly, he knew he wanted to come, but he couldn’t find the words to ask, and didn’t want to move his arms and reach between his own legs, letting Kaveh drag him forwards and backwards onto his cock. Yet it was good, too good, too perfect, and maybe Kaveh understood him better than he thought, for a hand left his hip, fumbling slightly as it grasped for his cock, another debauched moan leaving him as Kaveh set a fast pace, the dual stimulation almost too much, though he never wanted it to end.

It had to- he couldn’t stop it- couldn’t stop the force of his orgasm crashing into him until he shook his way through release, choking on the moan that couldn’t quite escape his throat. That set a sequence into effect, as he clamped down hard around Kaveh’s cock, and before he even had the chance to recover, he felt a burst of heat inside, moaning faintly at the sensation, shaking in Kaveh’s hold as he continued to thrust, hips stuttering their way through his own orgasm.

Kaveh’s breathing deepened, something they shared, for Alhaitham felt his lungs ache for air, panting slightly from exertion, his muscles aching in a way he’d not anticipated, though that did not deter the afterglow of his release as contentment overwhelmed every other sensation.

However, as time continued and neither one of them moved, he felt sore and sweaty, the muscles in his legs trembling, refusing to cooperate with him and steady themselves. Yet despite his hoarse voice, and the way his hips ached, the sound of Kaveh’s uneven, satisfied breath above of him made him smile rather than grimace at the feeling of still warm come coating his insides.

‘You better- better clean me up,’ Alhaitham breathed out, biting his lips as Kaveh’s hips shifted, dragging his softening cock over every over-sensitive part of him until he had to swallow a whine as he slipped back out.

Alhaitham heard the harsh intake of breath that followed as Kaveh undoubtedly stared at the mess he’d made, watching a glob of come trail down the back of Alhaitham’s thighs. ‘Ah, that’s- I mean, yes, hold on, if you just walk to the shower, then…’

Again, Kaveh trailed off, likely now studying the slight shakes of Alhaitham’s legs, as a pointed silence settled over them.

‘It’s your fault,’ Alhaitham said, knowing full well he was also to blame, trying to glare at Kaveh over his shoulders, though he had no doubts that it looked as half-hearted as it felt. ‘I should be able to walk… unaided.’ Though saying that, he did not try, at least not with Kaveh’s watchful eyes upon him, clearly curious to see just how much he’d stumble when he tried to walk. ‘If I can’t, you can just carry me.’

Kaveh made a noise of complaint, yet the next moment he let out a long, tired sigh, trying and failing to frown like that idea bothered him. ‘Fine, fine- I suppose I can’t complain, even if you are heavy… Just give yourself a moment to steady yourself, Haitham… then I’ll get you to the shower.’

‘You may as well join,’ Alhaitham added, pointedly turning his face to hide the small smile that threatened to overthrow his firm tone, ‘you also need to clean yourself- and we may as well conserve water.’

‘Ah, yes, conserve water,’ Kaveh repeated with a quick laugh, taking another long pause to watch him. ‘Is that what we’re calling it? I’ve heard worse euphemisms- and don’t say otherwise, I heard that sly tone of voice, and don’t think I missed the way you looked at me.’

Kaveh might not have missed the way he’d looked at him, but Alhaitham had. He’d not intended to portray anything in the way his eyes had met Kaveh’s. Then again, he supposed it had been unintentional, hence why through the haze, he’d lost track of his own expression. Either way, what Kaveh implied wasn’t wrong- not that he’d say as much. If things took a turn, a turn that had little to do with cleaning, then so be it. Until then, he relaxed further into Kaveh’s hold, as hands tentatively ran along his hips, trying to soothe aching muscles.

Perhaps Kaveh was right after all, perhaps he should be happy that he overheard something he shouldn’t have. And if, on reflection, it had left him a little desperate himself, then he’d just conveniently ignore that detail. Besides, Kaveh knew he was more than willing to indulge him now, and if the way Kaveh’s touch lingered on his body said anything, then perhaps they’d work through a few more of his fantasies today.
