Chapter Text
After being in the Devildom for almost a year now, Y/N had grown accustomed to daily life with the brothers in the House of Lamentation. However, as the time passed, the human had grown close to the seven of them and in doing so, each of them had acquired their own place in her heart. When she first started her year in the Devildom as an exchange student, Y/N would never have predicted that she'd end up becoming so attached and protective over them, let alone making pacts with each of them.
Although, despite the fact she had learned to love every one of them, one particular brother had evoked feelings within her that made her blush every time she though about him. His tall and chiseled physique combined with fiery red hair and violet eyes that you could easily get lost in, were enough on their own to make any demoness become infatuated with him. But during the time you spent with him, Beelzebub's personality was what had enchanted you the most. Despite his insatiable hunger and faultless physique, the Avatar of Gluttony had a softer side in the way he cared and protected his brothers, as well as yourself. His unwavering loyalty caused him to put his own needs aside, forever there to fight and support when called upon...unless food was involved of course. It was no wonder how a being such as himself could have previously belonged to the Celestial Realm. The little smile he gave you whenever you were in the kitchen cooking for him always made your heart skip a beat, you had wracked your brain countless times trying to figure out how a demon could make you feel this way. Every time the thought entered your brain, you had to remind yourself that one of the seven rulers of the Devildom would never be enticed by a meer human...but what if-
"Y/N!"
Startled, Y/N blinked and spun her head to look at where the voice had originated from. Looking down the long dining table, which was full of various breakfast items, she was met with crimson and black eyes narrowly staring at her. "Daydreaming again I see Y/N ". Flustered, she tried to speak "U-Uh no, I-I was j-just...", the words she tried to say disappeared into the void as her mind became focused on the raven-haired demon, smirking at her from the head of the table. Lucifer, eldest of the seven demon brothers and the Avatar of Pride, was not made head of the household for no reason. His voice commanded attention and he knew exactly how to get yours.
"Oooo! The desire you're emitting right now is too much for me to bare! Tell me who would be so lucky as to occupy your sweet thoughts Y/N!" Teased Asmodeus, fifth eldest and the Avatar of Lust. Nothing could get past him when feelings were involved, especially if he was sat next to you, which he always made sure of.
"Wh-what?! Obviously it's me, I was the human's first! Go on Y/N, ya got no need to be shy, you belong to THE Great Mammon, r-right?" The tanned, ivory-haired second born chimed in.
"B-boys you've got it all wro-".
You were cut off again by the sound of a chair crashing to the floor opposite you, you looked up to see the third eldest and Avatar of Envy, Leviathan, his lava coloured eyes matched the intensity of the purple flames emminating behind his demon form. His stare fixated on Y/N. "Now you've gone done and it" whispered Belphegor, the youngest of the seven and Avatar of Sloth, smirking at you whilst resting his head in his hands on the table, as he pretended to sleep to the right of you.
"They're l-lying aren't they Y/N? Y-you wouldn't a-abandon m-me, would you?"
Despite his intimidating appearance when in his demon form, rivalled only by the fourth brother, Satan, Avatar of Wrath, Levi's voice was full of power but you sensed a hint of his usual panicked embarrassment. You then noticed him shoot an arm up to his face in a feeble attempt to hide the redness erupting across his cheeks,
"W-wait, I didn't mean t-that! I mean why would y-you...w-want to be around m-me...a l-lowly otaku shut-in".
Y/N's head began to spin from the barrage of questions being hurled at her by the three brothers. Asmo, Mammon and Levi's continuing interrogations were cut short by Lucifer's deep and booming voice.
"ENOUGH" he ordered.
"Why is it that I can never enjoy a nice peaceful breakfast with you lot around"
His intense glare caused everyone at the table to stop what they were doing. Even Beel paused, he looked up from his plate confused, his face covered in the food he had been so happily devouring,
"Did I do something wrong?" He spoke softly, looking at his eldest brother like a child who was about to be reprimanded.
The adorable puppy-eyed demon then turned to face you, desperately looking for an answer to his question.
"Of course you haven't Beel" you said as you smiled sweetly at him,
"I could never be mad at you."
You thought you had said the last part to yourself, but a giggle from the right of you indicated otherwise.
In a poor attempt to cover your embarrassment you began frantically trying to explain, "W-well it's hard for me to be mad at any of you!" But it was too late,
"Yeah, sure, that's what you meant" Belphie muttered with a wink.
The burning blush taking over your face was becoming unbearable, you quickly looked around the table in an attempt to gauge the brothers' reaction to the youngest's comment.
Luckily, Asmo, Mammon and Levi were too busy arguing amongst themselves, Satan was immersed in yet another book of curses, Lucifer had disappeared from his seat, probably to seek some short-lived respite from the usual daily antics his brothers created. Finally you looked at Beel, who was once more enthralled in consuming his breakfast and appeared to have moved his attention back to his meal seconds after questioning you. 'Phew' you thought to yourself as you let out a relieved sigh, getting up from your chair at the table.
'Looks like it's going to be another normal day here in the Devildom'.
